Short visit, kept the children’s’ attention. Metal dinosaurs are expertly made with nice detail. Ambiance of the park is beautiful. Best part is that it is free. Also it is down the street from the Aviation Museum and you can pay to go visit the museum. We saw a plan take off today. The grandchildren were so excited. Nice scenic drive by car.

Love this little park! It is very small and so cute! We stopped by here after visiting right beside located in a military aviation museum. It’s perfect for toddlers to take their time looking at dinosaurs. My 3 years old son had so much fun!

A small, unique park that adults and children will enjoy! It was neat to see the real life size of all the most popular dinosaurs. Definitely a unique experience! Some exhibits were over grown with brush and some had damaged metal.

Jerrassic Park is a cool little place with a bunch of dinosaurs at the entrance to the Plane Museum. Nothing fancy but cool nonetheless. Kids will love it and adults will appreciate it. It’s free and self guided. It’s a nice place to stop and stretch the legs out if you are out sightseeing or hitting the many fruit stands in the area. And what kid doesn’t want a picture with a dinosaur? 20 minutes from Pungo or Sandbridge Beach.

So incredibly cool. A must place to visit on a date with a dino lover, art lover, or a photographer! Its a pretty short walk around however there were a lot of different kinds of dinosaurs 🦕 some were a little rusty but others had great color and all had amazing detail Its totally free if the artist had a shop i would totally buy their craft or beg them to be my mentor.

My 5 year old couldnt wait to be done with the aviation museum to see the dinosaurs. The metal work was done nicely. There is no climbing allowed but its like the dinosaurs come out of the jungle.

This is a cool free little park with some prehistoric animals and dinos impressively made out of metal. It's a great quick stop if you are in the area. We spent around 30 minutes here and enjoyed our visit.

This is right at the turn in for the Military Aviation Museum. We did the museum first then the dino park but it isn't a requirement. You can just park and walk up. It's not huge but there is a pretty good variety of dinosaurs and our kids (5 and under) had a great time.

Ssooo coooolllll!! The dinosaurs look so convincing. The detail in the skin and the eyes is impeccable and their sheer size is truly impressive. Would love to know the artist and donate to them! Because this amazing place is free and the work and love in these dinos is definitely something to see. Best day ever. Yes there are some rusty spots but what do you expect 😂

I really wish they prepare this as a big park with more Metal Dinosaur. Thought it’s a very small spaced park with around 10 dinosaurs, all the dinosaurs are made of metal and it’s is so beautiful to see them. Not just dinosaur they have a lion and elephant made out of metal and kids really enjoyed it . Giving 4 star just coz it was a very small one. People who are visiting to Virginia Beach can take their kids to this place . This park is just 30 mins drive from Virginia Beach. There is a parking space for 6 to 7 cars. You can go into the park more and heard they had a ride too. But since it was too sunny we did not go further after visiting this small park.

As I anticipated the adventure, I had no idea what to expect. To my surprise it was a great experience, my little people who attended with me, loved it. It was as if you were in the land of the dinosaurs, a super great adventure for the little ones. There were trails for hiding, a pond to view a dinosaur, and babies hatching. It was very simple, no lines, no signs, no gates, it was adventurous and fun. Trails were short enough and all dinosaurs were strategically placed for that perfect feel of a real Jurassic Park. Free!!!! Little parking area, yet big enough to feel welcomed…..

It’s about 30 minutes from the beach it’s small but really cool if you have small children it takes a few minutes to see the entire thing but again it’s beautiful parking is at the very entrance hopes this saves people time before driving too the back just to have to come all the way back to the front. The parking isn’t a actual parking lot but it’s right at the entrance so you don’t walk far before seeing the dinosaurs

This was really cool. Just a short visit, but a lot of fun. There were kids everywhere screaming and getting so excited about the dinosaurs, that was probably the best part. Not much of a parking lot, but we all made do.

This is a neat little hole-in-forest place off the road. The kids definitely enjoyed walking around and climbing under the dinosaur sculptures and walking around. It's small, perfect for young kids with short attention spans.

We were in the area for strawberry picking and made a quick stop. I would say it's probably not worth the drive just to see the dinosaurs because it is a small area but it's also beautiful with the flowers.

Little ones love these metal dinosaurs. Nice little spot near to aviation museum. We covered this place on our way back from Munden point park. Will definitely go back with my kid. Note: We can spend maximum upto 15 minutes here not more than that!

Really awesome! Wish it was a longer trail! The old metal wasn't in the best shape, but was really cool regardless. The sculptors did a fantastic job! I didn't see a sign for a designated parking area, so I parked under trees to the right, upon entrance. No sitting area or a paved path. The park is immediately to the left, when you turn onto the road that leads to the museum.

Jerrassic Park in Virginia Beach is separate yet connected to the Military Aviation Museum. It's located on Princess Anne Road right at the entrance to the Museum. Parking is on the right side under the tree's as you enter. Jerrassic Park is also free to the public unlike the rest of the Military Aviation Museum. What you'll find in the park is beautifully designed and painted metal sculpted dinosaurs. The park has been around for a while and the plants have started to grow up and around some of the dinosaurs, and this actually makes it better as they look like they're coming out of the bushes. You'll find everything from Brontosaurus's to Saber-toothed Tigers and a Wooly Mammoth. Big nasty alpha predator's like Spinosaurus and a mama Tyrannosaurus Rex are also on hand. Watch out for her baby's they're hungry and waiting for a meal. If you look closely you may also see a pack of Velociraptor's nearby and don't forget to look up into the trees there might be a Pterodactyl looking back at you. All in all this is a great place for kids and families alike to see dinosaurs and the wonderful work that was done to recreate these creatures from a bygone era. Pack a lunch and eat at one of the picnic tables available. Their aren't many but at least they're in the shade.

This park is small, but exciting with my kids referring to it as "The Dinosaur Park" because of the dinosaur statues. There is free parking and a picnic area with tables. It's located on the way to Munden Point and near several local farms and farmer's markets. Located adjacent to the Military Aviation Museum, sometimes you can watch small plane take off and land. Also, the museum is really cool and features lots old planes.

Very nice park, excellent for kids interested in dinosaurs. It is a fairly small area, but there are several great dinosaurs, certainly enough to entertain the kids. There is also a nice picnic area. Overall a great afternoon adventure.

The Jerrassic Park is free metal dinosaurs park at the entrance on the military aviation museum. This is about 15 minutes from Virginia Beach. The have a variety of dinosaurs from the T-Rex, Triceratops, stegosaurus, Utah raptor, brontosaurus, pterodactyl and others. The Dinosaurs park does have a small picnic area. Overall great for young children the ages 1-8, we definitely had a blast and we go again.

My kids loved this place, great art and wonderful garden. It's out of the way for most people, but it's worth the short drive. There's picnic tables for a picnic and a good time with the kids.

This little secret park is AMAZING. It is actually just a small attraction located infront of thr aviation musuem. You can stop and have a little picnic snack and enjoy the art of "life sized" DINOSAURS! If you're lucky you'll get to experience little airplanes taking off and landing on the runway right next to it! My twins will be 3 in January and they absolutely adore this little gem! Tge first time they were a little leary and kinda scared but once I showed them they wouldn't be a snack they eased up and ran around like it was home! I'm not sure who designed thisl little place or the artist that created the creatures but I sure do appreciate it <3

This is free and located outside the aviation museum. It was a pleasant 20 or so min. Did not take advantage of the museum as our little one is still a bit young for that. Next time.

Great stop for the family. The dinosaurs are an impressive peice of art. They are all spot welded metal. The dinosaurs are all painted meticulously. Heads up for parents of traveling children, there is no bathroom at the Dino Park itself, instead you would need to go to the aviation museum. That said, you won't spend more than 20 minutes here. But I have a feeling we will be visiting a lot.

My family and I were driving home from Cullipher Farm after picking apples (which made an awesome pie for the family) and my son was having a conniption because we forgot to let him feed the cows... We know he loves dinosaurs so as we passed Jerrassic Park, I took notice and we did the most immediate (and most safe) U-Turn and stopped there. Once there, my son approached with an underwhelming stroll, IMO. So I began to have him spout out the names of the dinosaurs. Which didn't liven him up at all... What did, was an interesting looking caterpillar we came across as we slowly strolled out (to make the trip last longer yanno?) Overall, I think that if we drove by there again he may ask us to stop but I doubt he'd ask us to go back on a whim. @mixedreviewz

I liked it, great looking park. The kids loved it. If you make the drive out there, have a plan to use your time wisely (e.g., bring a picnic lunch, go visit the aviation museum 200yds away...) The walk around the dinosaurs takes 8-12 minutes haha. We stretched it out to about 45 minutes and went to brunch after.

This was a really fun little park to walk around. My 9 year old daughter loves Dino’s and she was impressed with how they looked. Even my older 13 year old said they were cool. We enjoyed walking around for about 30 minutes. Worth the drive from Virginia Beach oceanfront if you love dinosaurs. Also while there we got to watch an old plane land by the museum. Really cool too!

FREE! Nice little park with large metal dinosaurs. It is located at the entrance to the air museum. There is a small, dirt lot to park on directly across from the park itself. Did I say FREE! There is NOT much shade so pick your time accordingly in hot weather.

The Best! And they have added one dinosaur and refurbished some of them. It's amazing! My kids love it. They can stay here for hours. I do recommend they at least put a fence around the lake for kids' safety.

Jerrassic Park is a very small park at the entrance of The Aviation Museum. The dinosaur are very detailed and full size. My kids loved it. That said, I wouldn't travel over 30 minutes to see the park alone. However, you can combine the park, the museum, and/or one of the nearby u-pick farms for a day trip experience.

Such a great little stop it was worth the drive outside of Virginia Beach. The park is nice and the dinosaurs are large. My boys (ages range from 10 to 5) loved it and we had fun making a game out of who could identify the most dinosaurs correctly on the map/game you can find at the entrance. The museum staff is friendly and helped the kids find fun in their adventure and gave them prizes at the end. This place was a fun surprise and I'm glad we went. A must see if you have kids who love dinos.

This is a very small Park with a few dinosaurs statues. Not bad if you want your kids to experience Jurassic Park kind of vibes. This place is 24/7 you can just park your car outside and just have a small walk and take pictures.

When I first stumbled upon this place I was looking for a geocache and even though I couldn't find the cache I did find lots of laughs and the original 3 dinosaurs. They have since added all the landscaping and more dinos. I don't know what there isn't to love about this place. I have brought many a family and friends to this little hidden gem and each time I'm here, it feels like the first time.

Great exhibits for a 'free' park. The various metal structures have been created with attention to detail. Visit while there's still plenty of daylight. The visit could take about 30 mins. It's a small park- well worth the trip away from Virginia Beach, plus, great for pictures on a sunny day. The water fountain in the middle of the pond looked pretty when the lights turned on at dusk.

I have watched this grow from one dinosaur to the park it is now. I love airplanes and dinosaurs so how can you go wrong here. They have picnic tables so we can do lunch with the little ones and besides the few ignorant people that leave their mess afterhours it's always clean. The dinosaur's are spectacular, the detail on them is so much more than I expected, I was expecting more paint to create the detail, but no, the detail is in both the metal work and the paint. I would gladly donate time or money if they ever needed it to keep this wonderful place around.

This is a really cool outdoor park with about a dozen giant dinosaur statues. It is just in front of the aviation museum which is an added bonus.
