I have had Mark come out for my inground pool on more than 1 occasion over the years, and he is such a great representation of what customer service should be for a business- responsive, punctual, knowledgeable, and able to identify the problem and clearly offer solutions. After noticing that my pool was losing water, my pool company suggested Mark come out to check for underground leaks. I called Mark, and although he was extremely busy, he came out right away. He and his high-tech equipment found multiple cracks in the underground piping. He laid out the options, with no pressure involved. He was able to do a workaround which allowed me a few more weeks before finishing out the season. He also followed up the next day with video footage of the leaks and made sure everything was running smoothly. He really knows his work. Hopefully that will be the last of my pool emergencies but should any more pop up, I'm so glad to have him as a resource.

It literally took about Mark 15 minutes to find and repair a small tear in my liner that was making me crazy all season. He proceeded to check the rest of the pool without finding any additional issues. Very reasonable and professional. I cannot recommend him enough!

I am a new homeowner and a pool was part of the deal. My filter started leaking last month so I immediately started to call a bunch of pool service companies. Unfortunately every company I called did not have any openings. Finally one company gave me Marks number. What a blessing! He calmly explained how to fix my problem. He was a hero! Phillips Pool & Spa Service is awesome! I was having an equipment issue when I was opening my pool and I spent hours trying to figure it out. I was in over my head and decided to call a professional. I called multiple pool companies but I not one called me back except for Mark at Phillips Pool! Not only did he call me, Mark is super nice and he listened to my issue while giving me some troubleshooting tips. It’s the height of pool opening seasons and he was slammed but that didn’t stop him from trying to help me. He told me to call him back and let him know how I was making out. I ended up calling him multiple times. He either answered or called me right back when he wasn’t underwater… haha. Anyways, I finally fixed my pool problem with Mark’s advice and I excitedly called him to share the good news. I could tell he was excited for me and he did this all out of kindness, I’m not even an existing customer but I am now. Overall a very kind gesture and great guy. I’ll be having Mark do my pool work moving forward. Customer service is sometimes lost nowadays but not with Phillips Pool & Spa Service. I hope Mark is met with good karma!

We have been trying to fix/manage/figure out leaks in our spa for 9 years. Finally, we providentially discovered Mark @ Phillips Pool and Spa Service. He was unable to come to the house for a service call because of his schedule so gave us trouble-shooting advice over the phone. We are grateful for his expertise. We are so glad to have found him: In 30 minutes Mark diagnosed and fixed a problem that had been hanging over us for nine years. We had been told by our pool service that repair would require jackhammering the concrete around the spa and digging up the piping to replace it for many tens of thousands of dollars. My pool was leaking, I called Mark on a weekend and within 20 minutes he was pulling in my driveway with his scuba gear and a smile. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and hard working. I called Phillips Pool and Spa Service because I was loosing a lot of water in my in ground gunite pool. Mark stayed on the phone with me for a half hour going over all the places I could be loosing water from. He was busy as it seems most pool service businesses are now a days. He said that he could come by earlier this week. Finally tonight I texted him an update on my situation and he said he could be there in 10 minutes. He did find a leak and patched it. He also checked for other culprits such as the light and main drain. Mark was courteous and professional and I cannot recommend him enough.

Our pool water level dropped 2 inches per day since the installation of a new liner in early October. Mark came yesterday and thoroughly inspected our liner with Pool Scope Hydrophone and camera. He found leak under light niche, identified what caused the liner holes, and added 2 patches under light cover to repair holes. We have been monitoring our pool water level since Mark's repairs, and the water level has not changed at all. It is such a great relief!! We are very impressed with Mark's professionalism and caring attitudes. We are so grateful for his great service and highly recommend Mark for any pool repairing work.

This winter was bad news for my pool causing some leaks. Leaking pools are intimidating and frustrating as most pool owners are not knowledgeable enough to tackle the issue. Mark was referred by another vendor to help with my issue. Put a call out on Tuesday and he was on site by Thursday first thing. Mark was able to find multiple holes and repair them. Mark was very professional, showed up on time and did not rush to complete the job. I highly recommend Mark for all you pool repair needs.

I had my pool opened about 3 weeks ago and had a significant leak, having to fill every day. I was told about Mark of Phillips Pool and Spa by the company who opened my pool. Mark called me and came over to assess the problem. I also had a problem with algae as the pool hadn't been opened for a few years. Mark immediately was honest and told me there was a waiting process but was very responsive with all my questions. Mark was awesome! We had a pool rip at the bottom of our above ground pool and Mark was one of the only people who called me back in the middle of the summer! Mark was able to make it to our house fairly quick.The patch was a simple fix and reasonable priced. After patching our pool Mark was able to give us some tips about the pool filter since we’re newbies. He even left us a better skimmer for free! Even a month later when I called Mark about my pool being cloudy, he gladly helped us out with some more tips and info. He’s gotta be the best pool guy around! Thank you so much Mark!

We had been losing water in our pool. It averaged a couple inches every other day. We called Mark and he came out right away. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and thorough. His approach was impressive to say the least. He suited up into scuba gear and tested every square inch of the pool and was able to diagnose multiple issues, even the tiniest little imperfections in the liner. Even better, he fixed everything! Mark was recommended to us by a pool company a few years ago when we had a major leak in the pool when we opened it. Mark responded quickly, came over to asses the problem, donned his scuba gear and repaired the leak. He followed up with a couple of phone calls as we filled our pool again to assure it was fixed. I highly recommend Phillips Pool & Spa Service. Our pool was losing water and we couldn’t figure out why. After doing some research I was impressed with the reviews as well as being a veteran owned business. Mark was very quick to respond to our call and gave my husband a few options to try and told him to call back if the issue was not resolved. The next day Mark called us to see how we were doing before we even had a chance to call him. That same day he came out to our home and did a thorough check of our in-ground pool. After testing lines and going all around checking the liner he finally found that the problem was due to a hard to find tear in the liner. To our relief, all it required was a patch. His customer service is over and above and his prices are very reasonable. Mark does not disappoint! Thank you for your service 🇺🇸

My pool is about 30 years old. It is concrete with fiberglass walls and roughly 42' x 24' , kidney shape and 10' deep at the bowl. I have maintained the pool, filter & heater all these years including many repairs. Over the last three years i have been losing water, slowly at first and this June it started losing 3-4 inches overnight. I checked everything i could and could not find the leak. At this point my Wife went on the computer and Googled pool repair. She found Mark Phillips Pool Service and read me all the fantastic reviews from his customers. I was not really impressed, but my Wife said at least give him a call and see if he can do it. I called Mark, left a message and in less than ten minutes he returned the call and instructed me to fill the pool to normal and he would be here Tuesday afternoon. He was right on time, put on his gear and went right in to a very cold pool. (Pool is indoors and I did not run the heater since i was losing so much water.) Mark went around the entire pool and found four or five leaks between the walls and the concrete. He checked everything, main drain, light, steps and seams. Within one hour he had all the leaks repaired. I filled the pool to the normal level and said to my Wife, we shall see in the morning. Well guess what? This morning the pool level was exactly where i left it last night. All day today it has maintained the level. NO LEAKS. I want to thank Mark for his excellent service and very reasonable price. We just purchased a new home with an inground concrete pool. We filled it and opened it. We noticed before the opening we were loosing water about 1"-2" a day. We have a special valve in our pool n thought it might be broken. We hired Phillips pool and spa repair to come check the valve. Mark was very courteous and responded in a very timely manner. He found that we had a hole in the concrete. He fixed it right on the spot and inspected the rest of the pool. Price was very reasonable. We couldn't be happier with Mark and his experience. If you've been thinking that nobody gives good customer service any more,then you haven't met Mark Phillips! I am a brand-new, never owned a pool before, new home owner who inherited a good sized pool. It was missing all sorts of things and needed more help than the internet could provide me. I was lucky to learn about Phillips Pool Service by chance, called with my concerns and Mark was more than accommodating getting over to help! Mark fit me in his busy schedule and came over at 6:00 AM the next day. Got the pump and filter together and going, gave me knowledge about my pool and system and how to maintain it and best of all, was just a great guy to meet! Oh, and his price was very reasonable too!!

In the beginning of pool season, I often experience water leak problem associated with hydrostatic relief valve. I see water leak again this year, so I called Mark (first time in my life) and explain the situation over the phone. Mark came to my house promptly as promised since water leak was severe - thank you, Mark. He installed new hydrostatic valve, checked water leak, patched pool surface as needed, further investigated the existing water leak problem in one of the skimmers and found the issue. Mark also helped me with adjusting water flow eyeballs (I now know how to adjust water flow better than before). Later, Mark has shared the video script that shows/explains the skimmer water leak (which needs to be addressed when pool resurface project is in progress in the near future). Mark's professionalism and knowledge in pool is outstanding. I highly recommend Mark, and I will call him again when I see pool water leak.

I called Mark on Wednesday at 5:00 pm telling him I was losing water in my Inground Pool, but had no idea where the rip was in my liner? I was desperate for help!! Mark was incredibly kind and said he would do his best to get out to me asap. Well at 7:00 pm that night, he was at my home in my pool diving and fixing my rip!!! I could not believe it!! I had been losing water in my 18 x 36 inground pool for 2 years at the rate of about an inch a day which required me to constantly replace the lost water each week. I hired Mark to take a look at it since I had no luck finding the leak. He went in the water in his diving gear and found the leak in about 5 minutes. He also then inspected every other inch of my vinyl liner and found 3 tiny holes on the bottom of the liner. Needless to say, I have not lost any water since other than for minor evaporation. I highly recommend him for this service.

My in ground pool was losing water and I suspected a leak or a tear in the liner. I contacted Mark Phillips and he came to my home in a timely manner. Mr. Phillips was courteous and polite and he fully explained what he would be doing to search for any leaks in my pool. Once his dive gear was on, he entered my pool and located the leak that was causing the water loss. It was a cracked plug in the stairs entering the pool. He repaired the leak with a new plug. Mr. Phillips then made a complete and thorough check of my entire pool and liner for any other issues. None were located. He documented his findings and followed up with me the following days to ensure everything was fine. I would highly recommend Mark Phillips as he is knowledgeable, courteous, thorough and extremely professional.

I contacted Mark a few days ago. He was busy; however he took his time and went to my house this Sunday. I couldn’t be any happier with his services. He found the leak and fixed the problem. Besides that, he noticed a bad connection with my pool filter; Mark went above and beyond making the proper connection and also explaining in a very simple manner how to operate the filter as well as several tips to care of it. Lastly, the ladder of the pool was in bad shape. Mark set it up the way is supposed to be, took his tool box, and put a couple of screws to secure the pool ladder. After 40 some years with this pool experienced the first leak problem I couldn’t figure out. Was hesitant to call a service company because of stories of cost and communications etc. Pool Source recommended Phillips and they were not wrong. In peak season he spent time to be sure I had done what I could. When it was apparent he needed to come out he was here quickly. Pleasant, professional and thorough. He repaired two leaks..1 small and 1 more significant. The final bill was exactly what he said it would be. Strongly recommend.

I am a "rookie " when it comes to my 24 ft above ground pool that came with our new house. I spent the summer you tubing and googling all my questions and concerns, until yesterday .Yesterday morning the pools water dropped 7 inches overnight and I couldn't stop it from leaving the pool thru the backwash hose ..I called a few places and my frustration grew until I called Mark ..he was professional and helpful right out of the gate .After I explained my problem he came over as soon as he could .He not only fixed the problem but explained all the how to s that I had questions about and offered to be available for any more questions that I have in the future.It was such a relief for me to have someone I can call to get the answers that need ..The internet is helpful but to have a go to person is much more comforting .I highly recommend Mark to anyone that needs help with their pool.
