Andrew delivered an excellent service and resolution. No unnecessary additions to what was needed to resolve my garage door issue. Springs were replaced, same size and load capacity of what was needed. I requested to have the bottom seal replaced since it was weathered and in poor condition and the part was readily available. Tuning of the garage door (balancing) and machine (chain adjustment, bushings checked and hinges lubricated) was part of the service I was not aware and turned out a great experience. We had a lot of problems with our garage door opening and closing on its own. It was crazy, so we tried a few garage door companies, but none was available for such a small work. Our son got hold of Gecko and they immediately scheduled an appointment with us. As it was weekend, their Technician James came out Monday and immediately addressed the problem. After reprogrammed our system he also serviced the door as it was making a loudly squeaking sound. He also showed us the big gabs on our garage door seals and this was fixed first thing this morning. I called early this morning to ask for help with a broken torsion spring. The response was amazingly fast and complete. Within 45 minutes of making the call our technician, Luke was at my front door and ready to inspect the problem. He gave me great details on the options for taking care of the problem and went to work on what we discussed. While on site he inspected the entire door operating system and gave me a clean bill of health report at the end of the repair. I will call Gecko Garage Door Service from now on when I need help.

When we needed a spring replaced a couple years back, we selected Gecko due to their good reviews, they did not disappoint. Our old garage door opener suddenly went on life support and Jake from Gecko came out to check it out, of course it started working perfectly while Jake was there. Instead of a service call he just wrote up a couple free estimates. Shortly after his departure, the opener was back on life support, so we called in and got Jake out here again to replace the opener and drive. Easy choice, good people.

Looking for an ethical company? This is it. Problems with our garage door sticking, opener only working sporadically, etc. Their technician came out and did temporary repairs to get it up and working again, along with a very reasonable estimate for replacement. No pressure, and no charge for the work he performed. Based on other service providers typical charges, I expected to pay at least $200 for his time. A few weeks later, after verifying that their price was reasonable, we had the replacement done. The techs left everything cleaner than they found it. A great, local company!!

Very impressed! I called around 8:30am and by 1:45pm we had a new garage door opener. Everyone was extremely nice and all options were explained. The price given included everything including tax. We needed a new motor, which I figured, the old one was 21 years old. The new opener is so quiet. Andrew explained how to operate everything and took his time to go through the warranties and how add our account to the app. I highly recommend Gecko, the price was very reasonable and I never felt like I was being pressured into a higher priced unit. They had excellent reviews on Nextdoor and I can see why. Service was top notch from the phone call to the end of the installation. Thank you!

Shout out to Andrew at Gecko Garage Door Service! I have a 24 year old garage door opener that quit working. I was sure it needed to be replaced so I called Gecko and talked to Andrew. He suggested I try a few trouble shooting steps before they send someone out. I did and it fixed the opener. If I ever need a garage door company it will definitely be Gecko! UPDATE: Well, the 24 year old garage door opener finally seized and I called Gecko. James came out, inspected all equipment and made recommendation for improvement. I didn't accept them all and he did not push the issue. In every aspect the replacement and repair of the doors were performed in a truly professional, thorough and timely manner, from contacting the office to the interaction with James. OUTSTANDING Service, as usual. Freak accident. My small aluminum flagpole fell into a space at the top of the garage door as it was closing and caused more damage than I would ever think possible. One side of our 3-car garage door is not working and I called the Gecko Garage Service and got a next day appointment. Jake and Mike came before the appointment time and checked the door opener and determined that the door opener needs to be replaced. They installed a new opener first and tried to have the new one to work with the rest of existing equipments. Finally one by one, they had to replace the whole system. They also tuned up the other one of our existing garage opener, replace the key pads. The whole job took more time than the original estimates. Everything now works perfect, they don’t push any sales to you until it’s proven the parts are not working and had to be replaced. They did great job and cleaned up afterwards. The man who answered the phone was very pleasant, and answered all my questions, so I called back to book an appointment for the next morning. Technician (Luke) called to confirm the appointment, advised me via text when he was on his way, and also when he arrived at the home. He was very professional, knew exactly what needed to be done, and completed the job to our satisfaction. The “icing on the cake” was when I received the bill for the spring replacement and work done, it was lower than the (approximate) quote I was given! Will not hesitate to use them again, whenever I need garage door services.

Very satisfied with this company. They were able to come out the next day to fix a broken spring on our garage door. They kept in communication throughout the entire process. Working with Gecko was a pleasant experience. I called them as a new customer after Googling garage door repair in the area. They had great reviews so I reached out. They were timely scheduling me, but were also quick to come out and diagnose my issue and also repair it. I have dealt with many contractors and repairmen as of late and it's unfortunate that the level of service (generally speaking) has gone down across the board. To that, Gecko seems to have continued levels of service that once were common and has stood out beyond just competing in garage doors, but the broader market on general. I'm unsure if I will need their services again anytime soon because it appears they did a great job repairing my garage door. But I hope you use them, you won't be disappointed.

We had damage done to one of our two garage doors and called Gecko for an estimate to repair. Door panel needed to be replaced but to match our style that panel was no longer available. So gave us an estimate to replace door and it was reasonable so asked for a quote for the other door, which he gave me. I checked around for other quotes and decided to go with Gecko to replace both doors. The doors had to be ordered for the style we wanted, so an installation date was scheduled and Gecko installed the doors on the date they told us. The doors were installed in one day but the caulking had to be done several days later as they wanted to match the color to the house paint. James took a sample color and came when he said and finished the job. We are very happy with the results and workmanship. Thanks to Gecko for meeting their scheduled times and sticking to their quote. All the personnel were dealt with were pleasant and very knowledgeable.

The service was impeccable. I had the spring system converted so it was a little more expensive but I had several pleasant surprises such as having my door sensors adjusted to the appropriate height for safety, everything inspected and lubed, my door adjusted to get a few more inches in height when open and I asked the gentleman helping me out to replace the bottom roller that I bought a year ago bc I couldn't do it myself. My garage door would not close I tried to call the original installer of the garage door to get them out ASAP and the earliest that they would be able to get anyone out would be mid next week which is completely unacceptable. I called Gecko garage doors and spoke to Julie who said that she would try to get someone out ASAP today. She understood that I had to have it done right away (for security purposes). When she called me back within a few minutes, she gave me a two hour window between 3-5pm but in less than 15 minutes , I heard from James the tech who said he was on his way out to my house and in less than 30 minutes my garage door was working again perfectly. Over and above that, James was very very polite and very knowledgeable and explained to me what he was doing and he flagged other things that could potentially be a problem with my garage door. I can’t say enough good and if I could rate Gecko garage door 10 out of 5, I would. They will be my go to going forward for any issues whatsoever with my garage doors. In my mind, between timing, customer service and expertise, they should be on top of anyone’s list.

When our garage door panel broke (literally), we were in need of a new garage door ASAP. I checked for a local business servicing garage doors and found Gecko was one of the closest to our house in Sun City West so I called and requested a service call, soon. Before the day was out, Luke showed up and, upon appraising the situation, suggested a new door. We agreed and within minutes Luke had all work priced for our review. I quickly checked the internet for door prices and found Gecko to be very competitive so we signed on even tho Luke said it may be a week before the door may be available. The next day Gecko called back saying the door was immediately available and would be ready to install the next day. James showed up and quickly had the old door off and the new one ready to go. We were originally going to replace the rubber seal around the door but James said to wait until the new door was installed as perhaps the seal, which didn’t look that bad in his opinion, may not need to be replaced. The new door and the old seal fit perfectly... Thanks, James, for saving us the cost of the new seal and trim. Much appreciated. A piece of the old door was cut off and taken to Dunn & Edwards to match color for the new door. Two days later James returned and quickly applied 3 coats of paint on the door. It looks great, works well and sure am glad I chose Gecko to do this job. All my interactions with Gecko were very professional and inspired my confidence in their family owned operation. I have, and will continue, to recommend them to anyone looking for garage door repair or service in the greater Surprise area.

The tech texted me that he was coming early which was great. Turned out to be a broken spring. A reasonable fee was quoted and after a short time it was done. Great service again! The chain drive gear in our opener motor exploded. The tech, James H., initially gave me a few options including replacing the whole unit. He must have sensed that a new $500 unit wasn’t going to be possible for us so he went the extra mile. He found the broken gear and housing, drove back to the HQ and found a used gear from another unit. He came back, installed the gear and custom modified the housing to work, therefore saving us about $350. This is a breath of fresh air these days where most “service” industry techs just want to replace everything with new. Thanks again Gecko!

A very knowledgeable technician was sent to resolve my broken spring to my double wide door. He arrived on time at the specified time. Had I not peppered him with so many questions, he could have been done maybe 10-15 minutes sooner. But for all I saw him do in the 1 hour & 15 minutes he was here from start to finish, he wasted no movements. He was able to talk and answer my questions while his hands moved to replace the broken spring. He even weighed my double wide door so that he could determine the size and strength of the replacement spring. I have never seen that before and this is the 4th spring in 20 years for that door. He also gave me tips on what to expect and watch for when my 20-year old opener begins to die off. I strongly recommend Gecko Garage Door Service.
