I go to the Family Dollar store and purchase the smaller items i have been to several locations and I have to say out of them all i place this on the top: this one in my eyes is how all of the stores should make there customer feel. The environment is welcoming and clean and the staff are always respectful and professional never have i had a problem with this particular location and actually i feel there should be a training session on how to stay safe, professional and keep a positive environmental and welcome impact for the customers to keep coming back. I feel like that location and there staff should train ever employee just like that.

I really don't know how I lived Family Dollar! This location is right on my 005 bus routes, so it's very convenient. Friendly, helpful staff & low, low prices make it a valuable one-stop-shop.

Customer service was very good. However this store's located near the hospital and doctors office complex's where often folks hv had to consume large amounts of water or fluids for testing proceedures. It would have been nice to have a public restroom. I know I was unfamiliar with the area n truly didn't know which direction to go to find a public restroom. I know I was uncomfortable shopping an concerned if I could make it to some other public restroom. This could have ended in a very embarrassing moment.

Okay,this family dollar on n.w.12 and classes has remodeled inside and out.My shopping experience was so nice.I could find things easier and there was a lot of new items.There are a lot of $1.oo items now and good brands.I loved it! People should come and check out the new store and very friendly employees!!

Normally, I would give this location 5 stars. However, in light of recent events, I'll dock two stars for unprofessional behavior by employees. Since moving to an apartment within about 5-10 minute walking distance, I go here often for basic needs, snacks, clothes, supplies, etc. I spend a solid pretty penny at this location. The location attracts not the best type of clientele; regardless, the staff and employees are always SUPER nice, friendly and accommodating to everyone that comes in. Until yesterday. I walked over with only cash to pick up some snacks for my pregnant butt, officer supplies, beverages and some sleeping attire. I walked in and the ladies behind the counter shouted, "CASH ONLY" and nothing else. I knew I wouldn't be able to buy my items, but took a minute to cool off since I'm having the WORST pregnancy hot flashes, light-headedness and it's 85-90 degrees out. The employees then kept talking (EXTREMELY LOUD) about another customer that had apparently just come in and either wasn't understanding why they were only accepting cards this day or was trying to figure a way they would be able to accept her cash. Now, whether that customer was rude or not friendly, I'm unsure of. However, they were talking about her in the most condescending way and laughing at her loud enough for the whole goddamn store to hear. It was disgusting. I've worked in customer service before and I know that even if a customer is rude, you certainly don't make fun of them and certainly don't talk about them IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS. You know what that tells me? They'll do it to me, too. And every other customer that comes in. And overall, they don't give a damn about their customers. I certainly hope someone from their corporate office sees this review and addresses the issue - that being their unprofessional and blatantly RUDE employees. I couldn't care less if they weren't accepting cash. That's not a big deal. But the way they dealt with that situation was ridiculous. And seriously... Is it that big of a shock that people are questioning why you don't accept cold, hard CASH? Seriously. SERIOUSLY. Those ladies all standing around with their thumbs up their butts around the register gossiping about some lady need a little lesson in "How to be professional" OR even better, "HOW TO BE A DECENT HUMAN BEING". I miss the old employees. They were assertive with everyone, but respectful and helpful, nevertheless. Way to go, current employees. I'm sure you're glad you won't have to see me again. Because that's exactly what kind of impression you left. I wouldn't want to bother you with my patronage - Heaven forbid! It sounds like you should work somewhere else where you don't have to deal with unhappy customers if you don't like dealing with unhappy customers.

They had what I needed. They we're busy and there was plenty of people working. Bit the line was backed up bcz only one person was check us out. I wasn't in a rush but I wouldve gotten out of the store at least 5min early had they had more people checking out.
