Reviews of Bricktown Water Taxi
R Davis
We decided to take this tour on a whim and we're lucky enough to get tickets. The guy at the ticket booth was very friendly, helpful, and polite. Our boat was full. Our driver was funny, knowledgeable, and kind. She answered all the questions the passengers had. We had so many new ideas to check out in Bricktown after the tour. It was very sunny and midday when we went. I was glad I had sunglasses and sunscreen on that day.
Kate Barnes
We had a beautiful day for travelling the canal. It was a sunny cloudless day, so the tour was quite warm, even with the canopy over the boat. The guides were pleasant but it's mostly info about restaurants and businesses, kinda boring. There were some historical highlights. Whole tour lasted about 45 minutes. Was fun, but a once and done type activity for us.
Sierra Jinks
If you ever get the chance to do this, GO!!! I am not a big water person so I was skeptical about riding but I absolutely loved it! We went at night and it was so beautiful and the weather was just right for a night time boat ride. Our tour guide Conner was the absolute best! He kept us laughing the whole time.
Stormm Bourne
So much more than just a little boat ride! I LOVED our driver! He was both very knowledgeable,as well as funny and involved my children in the tour. The boat itself was comfortable to ride on as I was dealing with a terrible backache at the time. The ride was smooth and well managed. If your a tourist looking to learn about our Oklahoma history, you will gain an earful as well as relax while surrounded by beautiful artwork depicting what's at the heart of Oklahoma, and made by Oklahoma's own artists.

The overall was good, it was a slow day, which was nice. The boats look well kept. The narrator was ok , she sounded a bit like oh my gosh I have to repeat this tour again. She did explain everything very well and we did enjoy that part of it. Great photo ops along the way. I know they get paid per hour but they also were looking for tips about halfway through she kept saying she was getting married soon. Then at the end she sort of said we live on our tips ..helps with weddings lol. When you ask everyone where they are from ....don't forget to include everyone...makes ya feel left out.
Would we go again? Sure.
The girl we talked to before the boat was amazing, friendly and we were kinda wishing she was going to do our tour. Overall it was amazing to see the history of it all.

A very calm ride full of historic stories. Nice sights and a nice way to spend an afternoon. Our guide was funny, informative, and kept us entertained even at 100⁰ weather.

This was our first time on the Bricktown Water Taxi, and we had a great time. After paying for our tickets, we waited about 10 minutes for our boat to arrive. Initially, there were not a lot of people waiting in line, but as the boat approached, it seemed like everyone came out of nowhere. Once we were permitted on the boat, we were ushered around the seats, and were somewhat able to choose the seats we wanted. We had a good amount of people on our boat, but it wasn’t full which was nice. The seats were very clean and had comfortable padding.
Our tour guide was fantastic. He was funny and very knowledgeable about the buildings, and the area. He confidently answered any questions we threw his way. It was nice to have a tour guide who was so enthusiastic and loved his job. He made a couple of stops for people who wanted to get on/off the boat. This was a great way to travel down the canal, see some of the restaurants and shops, and learn some history along the way.
Highly recommended, and worth every penny. We will definitely come back the next time we visit OKC.
Maysam Takapoo
It was a great experience. So much that I learned about the history of Oklahoma City. Ride was very smooth and the Captains were fun and very knowledgable about the area. Make sure you take the ride around sunset so you take wonderful pictures as well.

We had some time to kill before flying out of Oklahoma City and decided to do the water taxi tour. It was really easy to purchase tickets online and book our time slot. We visited at 11 AM on Monday, July 4th. There were a few other groups on our boat but it wasn’t too crowded. Our tour guide Bruce was very entertaining and I learned a lot about Oklahoma City. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city for the first time. We boarded right on time at 11 and the tour ended at 11:40. I thought it was well worth the price.
Gabby B
I had so much fun! Our tour guide, Captain Conner (the redhead!) was super funny yet informative. He spoke of a lot of history about Bricktown and Oklahoma as a whole. Gorgeous views and definitely worth the $14.
Cindy Stutler
Thank you Mrs. Alyssia we enjoyed every moment. We laughed we awed. If you go I hope you get her she is funny and gave us lots of history on our field trip.
Laura H
So much fun. Will worth the price....So much history information given by the taxi guide. Plenty of seating, both in the sun and shade. If it's your first time in Bricktown this water taxi is a Must!
Yoli Reynolds
Very informative and enjoyable. I lived in OKC on the '90's and couldn't understand why I never heard of Bricktown until this tour that explained everything was engineered and built 2 years after I moved away.
Catherine Smith
Bruce was amazing tour guide ! He gave us a lot of information and was honest when he didnt know something. He's funny and he let us know who he was, without getting too personal. We were his last ride of the day but in my opinion I think it would of been the same enthusiasm in the morning ! He seems he is someone who enjoys what they do. Thanks again Bruce!
S Brizius
Very entertaining. Alyssa was our guide and she did great. Funny and informative. Yes, locals still have to pay, but worth it to bring tourist family.
Charlie Mitchell
I didn't ride the water taxi, but I walked along the canal and saw them pass. Looked like a fun ride. There's mini golf nearby too. I'd recommend stopping by that area of town.
Nina Paragon
Thoroughly enjoyed our water taxi ride!! Our guide was delightful!! Definite must do when in town! Great for any age.
Alison Wright
Touring the United States, my family stopped in Oklahoma City at the Bricktown Water Taxi. It's a great way to get a brief history of the area in an enjoyable way. Our guide was well educated and the tour was just the right length of time for a family to get enough information without losing interest. Highly recommended.
Cee Boriz
Great experience! Never knew history was so much fun. The tour captain was knowledgeable and fun. She was equally patient with the kid's questions.
Nickia G
Great water tour and plenty of information on the founding of the city. The statues are beautiful and it was a smooth ride. The tour guides make it fun with their added humor! Worth the ride!
Craig Helton
Our captain was funny and friendly. The tour was a little less than an hour and the information given was interesting. Highly recommend this if you are in Bricktown. The waterway was clean and beautiful. Great fir all ages!
Jeremy Staggs
Fantastic tour with great very informative guide (Alan and Ted). Learned a lot of new info, my mother who grew up here learned more about her home town. Highly recommend
Dawn Kirby
Relaxing 30 to 45 min ride. Enjoyed learning about how they were able to get the funding to build up the area and improve it for the community and tourists. The art work is beautiful and the story behind every piece really made you connect with it. Our driver was very friendly and funny. Didn't have to wear masks. Has a canopy so you can choose not to sit in direct sunlight. The boat reminded us of the one in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory lol. Just across the canal is Putt Putt Golf. Fun all around. We definitely will be returning because there was so much more to experience in Bricktown that we didn't get to because of the rain that came in. We'd like to visit Toby Keith's restaurant on our next visit.
Cindy Owano
This was a fun 45 minutes. Our tour guide Cassidy was great and provided interesting facts about OKC and Oklahoma history. The Land Run monuments is way more impressive than pics show and is really best experienced from the Water Taxi. We had a person with mobility issues and he was very accommodating with that.
brady kuhn
Was a nice little tour on a boat they are allowed up to 24 passengers per trip and a boat will be there every 29 Mins to pick up more people to take out. Learn many new facts about okc. Boat ride is around 20 Mins. PRICE 12 per adult. Was fun and got to see some new things.
Hope Myers
This was so fun and an awesome family event. Our guide, Joy, was so great. He was funny and informative. This was a great experience!
Nicole CDeBaca
Had a great ride. Connor was awesome, great sense of humor and very informative. Well worth it!
Maria Ibarra
Our tour guide was awesome. I was hoping for a experience like San Antonios river walk, but it was a quick and simple tour. Not much to see, took about 30min total.
Alexis Matlock
We chose the sunset time slot and had so much fun at a great value for the price of admission! Our tour guide was funny and enjoyable as well. This was also a nice way to fill a little time and learn a little more about our state in a relaxed atmosphere.
Lahiru Fonseka
We had nice experience and tour guide was super nice and explained everything.
Jill Walker
Such a fun glimpse into the history and culture of Oklahoma City. I've done this tour 7 times in the past 18 months (lots of out of town visitors!) and every tour guide is good - but today we had the pleasure of taking Joey's tour and he's my favorite so far. His tour is full of fascinating OKC facts and several corny jokes. We thoroughly enjoyed it!
Bry Tat
Great tour! Very informative. Beautiful and historic scenery. Would definitely recommend a visit if you make only one trip to Oklahoma city
Leslie Waggoner
Had a great tour and our host was wonderful. Alyssa had us laughing and listening to details the whole time. Relaxing, entertaining and educational!! Take time to enjoy the water taxi!!
Sarah Trader
Fun activity for the family! 45 minute ride down the Canal and back, with nice views. Our captain was friendly, funny and very knowledgeable. Kids really enjoyed it. Great way to see Bricktown from the water, without having to walk!
Kimberly Hong
The tour guide for the tour that I took today was Joey, I believe? He was phenomenal! So joyful, interactive, entertaining, kind and informative. I felt bad for him because the group on our tour was very low-key and not very interactive. At one point though, a group of adults were talking loudly to each other within their group, as well as taking calls on their phones. It was very disrespectful. Otherwise I really enjoyed the tour and highly recommend it. I learned a lot of history about the canal area.
Tasha Turner
We had such a blast! Family of 6 here! The kids loved it. A lot of history we didnt know. Our boat captain Ted was amazing and very funny! Overall great experience. Price is very affordable also!
Mariah DeSpain
The Water Taxi was so much more than I’d thought it would be. Captain John was amazing, telling all kinds of history in a short amount of time. It didn’t feel like a history lesson, as he made it very interesting & fun. The 40 minute ride included many great views and photo ops! Well worth the price. I’d recommend starting your Bricktown visit with the water taxi, as John pointed out many interesting places we missed on our visit.
Aubrey Hunn
We had so much fun. Ted was our guide, he's the best! Really cool art along the canal, nice relaxing ride to get you off your feet between other activities, or at the end of a long day.
Naomi Cockburn
Our tour guide, Connor, was great. He was funny and knowledgeable about the Bricktown area. I almost felt like I was on the Jungle Cruise at Disney with how his personality was. We enjoyed our tour, just wish it was longer. We loaded at 6pm, took off minutes later, and back by 6:40pm. So it's about 30 minutes, which is a bit deceiving if the timeslot on ticket is 6-7pm.
Ben Nelson
We signed up for the water taxi last minute and were glad we did. It was a relaxing, fact filled and fun ride around the canal. We learned that it is loosely designed after the San Antonio River walk and funding for it started two years before the unfortunate event of the Oklahoma City bombing. We also learned about the greatest horse race of all time, the 2,000,000 acre land race and the unfortunate events that took place with the Native Americans. Cassady was a great guide and really seemed to enjoy what he does and helped ad some humor to the trip.
Robyn Popescu
Great way to see Bricktown! Tickets only $11.00 per person. Boat takes riders around the entire canal and back (about 30 minutes total). A nice activity for people of all ages. The boat dock to board is by the Brickopolis Building (See photo). We had a lot of fun.
Lori R.
We had so much fun! The tour guide was full of interesting facts about building Bricktown and the community. The sculptures of the "Great Oklahoma Land Run" were breathtaking and HUGE! Great place to visit.
Hunter Diller
I thought this was gonna be just a boat ride in the “canal”, but it was very informative and interesting.
SS “srrs” DD
We were pleasantly surprised by the water taxi tour of bricktown. It was very relaxing tour and a memorable experience. I would highly recommend taking the water taxi if you are visiting OKC.
Nicole S
It was so much fun and seeing everything in Bricktown while the Christmas lights were still up was ✨️magical✨️ Even though I've lived in Oklahoma for most of my life I learned a lot about Bricktown and saw places down the Riverwalk I'd never seen before!! Highly recommend doing this for any occasion whether you're from Oklahoma or you're not!!
Michael
It was a good time. Captain Andy was awesome. She was very nice, and informative. It was a fun and relaxing way to learn about some of Oklahoma's history.
Rylee J
I had this guy named Conner as our tour guide and he was literally the funniest person ever. He made me laugh out loud way more than a boat ride in Oklahoma should. No one was answering him or asking questions and he just rolled with the punches. He was iconic and I love him. Give this man a raise cause he was Knowledgeable and funny and I wouldn’t have enjoyed the ride near as much without him and his commentary. We <3 you Conner (I’m sorry for also not asking questions I get nervous)
Veronica Lanni
The Bricktown Water Taxi is so much fun! It’s about an hour long. Our tour guide, I believe his name was Cassidy, was fun and informative. I definitely recommend this if you are in Oklahoma City; it’s a must!
Guillermo Loubriel
This was a nice way to hear about history, see lots of fauna, see the Centennial Land Run monument and other statues, paintings, fountains, Sony headquarters, and gardens in a relaxed atmosphere. Aaron was our tour guide and he was great. The only negative was that the canal water is green (but not smelly). For seniors, the cost was $10 each.
Carrie Wolff
Daniel was an absolutely amazing guide! He was engaging, funny and full of information. My family loved this tour.
CoffeeM Videos
Those historic statues are awesome and those electric boats are nice and place is neat . The guide did a good job. Christmas lights not attractive much but felt safe as well around .
Dave Manary
Aaron did such a great job with the tour. Really funny and very informative. Our whole family enjoyed it very much! Ask for Aaron!
Mike Oxlong
Was a good experience for my wife and i. There was several couples and families but we had plenty of room. A bit uncomfortable because the seats. The tour guides are great at what they do and are very knowledgeable of the surrounding area. You'll learn alot more than youde expect on the 30 minute boat tour and will be mesmerized the whole time by the art, architecture, history and beauty of it all. Great place for the family and couples. Dont bring food and be respectful of the rules when riding.
jana hughey
Our family enjoyed getting on the water taxi and hearing a little of OKC's history. The tour guides are very knowledgeable about their city. Some of them are also very funny. You can take the whole ride and listen to the tour. You can also get off at any stop along the way. Your ticket is good for the whole day. You can buy them via the mobile AP or at a ticker booth. There are numerous places to eat along the canal. There is also an arcade and a mini golf course. This is a great way to see the canal without having to walk all of it.
Daniel Maddux (Dan)
Very nice and informative tour. They tell you the history of how Oklahoma became a state and the bronze statues are crazy amazing.
K G
Great tour guides, the ride was rather short, The canal is below ground level so it was a little hot, good way to see a small area of Bricktown, reasonable price $11
Jeisson Jair Gutierrez Mendoza
This tour made my day, if you come after sunset you'll see the beauty of night as you go. Ted, the ferry operator is full of enthusiasm and a charm gentleman
Janette Lugo
Highly recommended, so beautiful and historical place
Shell Nea
A very cool canal ride through Bricktown. The 45 minute ride is narrated. Expect details descriptions of murals, sculpture, construction of the canal, history of the area/canal and information about all the restaurants and establishments you pass. Enjoyable and educational. Fare is reasonable and is good all day.
Laura Bain
I love hearing local guides explain the background of an area. Our Bricktown Water Taxi guide was hilarious and interesting at the same time! It was a perfect fall day to relax in the water taxi, take in the scenery, and listen to the guide. Highly recommend this group if you like inexpensive, insightful, and interesting tours!
Glenda Dris
Great ride around Bricktown and the perfect way to get about. You can hop on and off at several stops along the trail. One ticket is good for the entire day and evening. Adult, senior and children's rates. They send the confirmation to your phone, so make sure to bring it along.

Captain Elissa is the best! She did such a great job sharing the history of Oklahoma as well as making the experience entertaining and a lot of fun! She has great enthusiasm combined with great knowledge which made the boat ride one to recommend. We are on a road trip across the USA and this was a highlight simply because of Captain Elissa! She genuinely loves what she does, if you’re gonna take a water taxi try to be on board with Captain Elissa.
John R.
The Brick Town Water Taxi tour was fun and informative. The boat operator takes you through the man made Brick Town Canal, which winds through Brick Town. Most of the canal is only 4 feet deep, so life jackets are not required. The ride takes you by the “Land Run Monument”
which alone makes the $12.00 adult fare worth while. Kids 6-9 cost $9.00 each. I assume kids under 6 are free. The only thing keeping me from giving five stars was the boats PA system. If you happen to have chosen a seat next to the speaker, which I unknowingly did, your eardrums will be blasted with a loud and often indecipherable shrill every time the operator speaks. I would recommend taking a seat away from the speaker. (speaker is located close to the back of the boat where the operator stands)
Jisna “RJ” Saji
Go there early to avoid traffic and before it gets too hot. Talks about interesting history of OK. Short and simple trip. Big hero size statues to see.
D. Michelle
Checked out Bricktown Water Taxi during a weekend visit to OKC. The weather was perfect & made for an enjoyable ride along the canal. The ride was informative & highlighted several landmarks & things to do nearby.
Richard Flores
Awesome time with Captain Melissa, tell her you read Rice-A-Roni review 😉
Amazing history lesson on OK and OKE City, the statues were amazing and the evening was superior. Water taxi is well priced for adults, $13 pp, kids $10. Worth your time. Loved it!
Texas Vern
Don't get much for the price but better than sitting at home, was nice to get out and view the city and have a great dinner and a little fun.
Kandi Baby Briscoe
The most gorgeous simple riverwalk easy to maneuver for anyone family friendly and a baseball fans dream yes everything is locally owned and operated its a must see and the water gardens /mini Riverwalk is just enough for a awesome day trip.
Tony Cheung
Nice walk after dinner at Charleston
William Bell
Connor was awesome. He was funny and informative and really knew his Bricktown/Oklahoma history. My wife and I really enjoyed it.
Gracie Galan
Relaxing and entertaining boat ride until our engine died. Our tour guide Elissa was amazing and so kind. We went to the booth and they offered to refund us which was nice, but still wished we had been able to finish our ride.
Casey Alderman
Such a beautiful tour. So much fun and reasonably priced.
Grandma T Simms
Absolutely fabulous time on the Water Taxi. Ryan our guide was fantastic! Bathrooms are close. People are so nice. He talked about the history of OKC. Awesome!
S P
We drove from two hours away. Here is how it went. Five stars for Connor. He was concerned when he saw that I was winded from being sent to several different places to buy tickets. I had my 80-year-old mother and two grandchildren in tow. We really got a workout. It took from 6:20 to 7:20 to get tickets One star off because we couldn't buy tickets at the ticket booth, and it is also not on the website that all four of us would be full regular fare. One star off for not telling me how much it would cost. So, three stars.
James Ceasar (Jay)
I loved it.One of the drivers named Conner was funny he was cracking everyone up while talking about the Oklahoma History. He needs a raise
Phil Sabra
Enjoyed the ride and got nice information about oklahoma city.
Erika Cervantes (La Morena)
Love it it was nice weather very amazing tour on the Taxi boat its not expensive very good for all ages.
Trami Thi
Had an amazing time with my parents. They were accommodating to my dad who is in a wheelchair. And we also had our service dog that rode along as well. My mom and dad really enjoyed it. The ride was very short. The guide was funny.
Ivan Gafiltha
Cassidy did a wonderful job, older gent, fun and exciting personality, and had the night shift with the smoothest boat operation abilities I've ever seen. Beats any San Antonio riverwalk.
First time trying this as i just moved to OK. Had a ton of history and he was well informed of the OK history and didn't shy away from any of the dark history involving the truth behind the Native Americans. Smooth riding and did his best to keep us out of the scorching 91° heat that day. Chatted with the folks on the board on where we were each visiting from if on vacation. It's a fun experience to cruise around and get some history and nice sights as he rotates the boat so both sides get a view. Highly recommend this to anyone local or visiting.
Haris Qazi
If you’re in the area, it’s a great experience. It truly is beautiful, and you get to learn about the history of the area and state. The tour guide was very sweet. I’d definitely recommend!
Albert Mata
1st Time here in BrickTime. This was our
Water Taxi OKC HISTORIAN water Driver
Mr Daniel , HE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE OF OKC CITY HISTORY AND INDIAN TRIBES HERE IN OKC. HE WAS LIKE A HUMAN GOOGLE👍 …
Miguel Martinez
If you go to the Riverwalk, this a must. Pre-order your tickets for the evening rides.
Misty Hines
It was fun. Nice family outing. Driver of the boat was really into his job. He acted like he loved it. No wait in line for hours. We try to go every year as a group. Dont always work that way but we still have fun. Thanks
Justin Borror
Gives ya good idea of whats along the water walk and a descriptive tour of the sites of brick town not sure the cost but i would recommend doing it at least once and if ya have had a few to many lol its a good way to get around lmao
Richard Gub
We enjoyed the boat ride. Captain Janine was so funny. Very informative! Great experience.
Shelley Neel
Great day, enjoyed the ride. It is neat to see all the statues and hear about some Oklahoma history.
Christopher Wolff
Loved the whole experience! The ride was easy, and the driver made sure to give us a wonderful bit of history listen throughout. Daniel was great!
Heather Key
Took the 1:30 today after accidentally missing the 1pm I had booked. Totally my fault, but the lady in the ticket booth was amazing and got us switched over very easily. Daniel was a great guide, funny and engaging. Would definitely recommend and would do it again.
Gillian Lander
brilliant really good trip Mike our driver was informative and friendly funny well worth it 👌
Nicholas Nierop
Wonderful tour of the canal and incredibly in depth history of the area from the boat captain. Well worth taking this ride.
Liz H
This was an awesome fun tour! Captain John, the guide made it both fun and informative. Loved it
Graham Stiles
Great tour and interesting information... much more than I thought it would be. Mitch was our guide and was a lot of fun. Nice guy. I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience.
Laura Restrepo
Highly recommend for a tourist! It took like 20 min, no line and it was a bunch of fun. We learn about history, had fun, and laughed a lot. Good for the entire family.
j.ismael Padron
Nice place to do and small tour and with se explanation about Oklahoma
naga k
Our Taxi Captain Ted was fantastic in explaining the history of the OK state and also cracking good jokes
Jay Morris
We absolutely loved our tour guide Daniel!!! Very funny and quick witted.
Anish Panthi
It was a great attraction site. The tour took around 30-40 minutes. The tour guide was awesome and funny ☺️
Staci Meza
We went about 2 weeks ago and loved it! So neat and so beautiful too with all the artwork and history artwork! Best part of our trip and would love to go back! First time for us and it didn't disappoint. Definitely recall. Our driver was also very knowledgeable and that helped when you don't know the history.
Jazmin Lara
My husband and I can in from Nashville for a fun weekend. We were the only ones on the boat on a Friday night around 10pm. It was great, nice and relaxing and wasn’t hot. I think it’s better at night because of all the lights and the bars having live bands, however, our guide said the sunset is the best and prettiest times. Speaking of our guide, Joey (like a baby kangaroo), was the BEST! Our boat broke down about 5 minutes into the ride. Joey made light of the situation and made aimlessly floating down the river fun until we could find help. After we transferred to a different boat Joey was still super awesome and we had a great time talking about the history and just chatting us up. Over all it was a great experience. If you get the chance ask for Joey!
Kristina Every
Gave me a San Antonio feel. Tour guide was great. We were able to take really nice pictures along the route. Just wished it was a little longer.
Laverne McCarthy
I don't think I have to rate how good this water taxi tour is, due to the lines of people that were waiting to take it. But if I do, we had a great time on it. Our boat driver was funny and very well informed. It was 50 minutes of enjoyment education and relaxation. And it is inexpensive too which is always a plus! Try it if you're in town.
Rahul Sharma
The best ride i have ever had with family. Very reasonable and fun time.
Stephanie Dodson
Other than the scorching sun enjoyed our trip, thanks! When they seat the boat they have you go all the way on and around so don't think you'll secure your baby shade by getting there early! We were able to fold our stroller and take it with us on the boat. At least some of the 2 hr parking nearby doesn't accrue after 6 on weekdays, so take a look before getting $10 parking.
Melissa Jacobs (Issababy)
Very interesting & informative tour. I would highly recommend it. You learn about OKC history & have fun at the same time.
Sharon M
I live in OKC, I've been to Bricktown many times. Wanted a way to chill and not have to walk around for a bit, and this was absolutely the way to do it. Our guide was Bruce, and he was very funny and charming! I also ended up learning things about this state, despite having lived here since I was ~10. My favorite fact is that we have a state vegetable that's a fruit with veggie status because Oklahoma just be like that. Anyway, if you're a tourist chilling around Bricktown, the tour is ~$13 for ~40 minutes, and it's such a delightful resting period while also getting to hang with a fun guide!
T. Jckr
It is about a 40 min tour, the price is not bad but the boat's cover is small so you might end up sitting in the sun the whole time. The guide (Bruce) was pretty cool and full of fun facts. We took the whole family and everyone enjoyed it.
Kimberly Moore
We throughly enjoyed our time at the Water Taxi in Bricktown! It was informative and fun!! Alyssa was hilarious and knowledgeable! Joey was a great driver and very friendly. We would recommend this activity to anyone!!!!
Brian Babcock
Overall pretty good. We enjoyed the narrative, but was expecting a bit more from the actual presentation and a bit more for the money.
Chalais Cox
Even though it was super hot. The driver Jay was very friendly and added some humor.
Tonia Espinosa
So awesome..our Lady Captain was the coolest..I highly recommend the water taxi if u are in Brick Town...
Antoine Tickles
Cassidy was the captain and was AMAZING. He was very comical and informative all at once. He really showed a passion for his job.
Bob Cherveny
With perfect weather and a great guide it was a very nice experience.
Hatice Karasahin
I want to give it 5 stars because It is a great place to spend time. Also, the staff is very friendly, honestly should go there for having fun.
Mandy Wingfield
We had a group and there was a misunderstanding on the time. They went out of their way to get us on a boat and we had a great time.

Was a nice thing to take my friend and his mom who was visiting to. The tour guide girl was really fun and entertaining. We were able to book the ride online and then lined up when our time was coming up.

Cold but neat thing to do even at Christmas time! We loved the Christmas decor.

Elizabeth Davis
So much fun! What a great way to see Bricktown and learn about it's history.
Emiliano Barragan
Fun tour of Bricktown and the canal. However not much to see.
Beautiful Eatz
The only reason I’m giving this place four Stars is that the ”Wish Bridge” truly I wish it was bigger going through that little tight spot it’s very difficult but the day I went it was a nice clean breeze it wasn’t that hot my tour guy explained things and had a great sense of humor...
ash jo
Super relaxing and chilled Cassidy did an amazing tour learned a lot about Oklahoma that I didn’t know about
Logan Kaplan
Such a cool experience! Totally worth trying.
Richard Anderson
The family went on the today we all had a great time .the guide was explaining different thing to all of us. We will be back again.

Allen was awful! Joking. Our tour guide Mitch was excellent. He shared a lot of interesting facts and details about Oklahoma and made the ride very enjoyable. My husband and I chatted with him a bit after the ride and he was so kind and made the overall experience a good one.
Brandy Noble
We love the water taxi! Even as locals it's fun to go ride every now and then. It's affordable and the drivers are always entertaining. We had Mitch this last time and he was great! A must do if you are in town visiting or just hanging out in Bricktown.

Brian Shiew
My wife and I brought our son during the evening for a ride and we had a wonderful time. Alyssa was our driver and she was fantastic, knowledgeable, and quite funny. We will definitely be back again and hope for her to be our driver again.
Mercedies Rivera
It was great first time definitely satisfied and fun and educational
Kevin K
We've done this before and was better. This time we rode at night which was much cooler, and the lights were really nice, but your "Captain" can REALLY make, or break the trip. Personality goes a long way is all I can say.
Jason Heath
Great prices and lots of fun! Our taxi driver definitely made the ride above and beyond!
Glen Knox
The trip around Bricktown on the canal ferry was superb. Our Guide Mike told all the stories with passion and humour. The sights of the old buildings and the the magnificient statues at the turning point were a highlight of of trip to the USA. Many thanks Glen (South Africa)
Spidey Dmd
Really enjoyed the ride. The driver was funny and the kids enjoyed it.
Anne Dial

My sister, our bestie and myself rode the water taxi on Thursday July 28 at 5 pm. Joey was our driver. We had such a great time with him. Very interactive and friendly, informative. Was sorry to see the ride end..had to say goodbye to our new friend. We really enjoyed our time. You are blessed to have Joey working for you. Thanks again.

A very nice 40 minute tour. It's best to go at night to see all of the lights.
Royce Olson
Fun trip. The guy who did the ride was kind friendly and entertaining . Def recommend

For $11 per adult, it was a nicely done guided tour of the history of the city. Well worth it. Captain was knowledgeable and entertaining.

Tini Stelzer
It has been excellent. Our guide was well imformed and told us so much about the City. Okc is a great place.
The Tour took is about 1h hour (if I do remember right). The price was also ok.
Tina-Louise Leblond
Was a nice boat ride but very short tour, for the price.
Quinn Novy
Our boat captain, Connor, was entertaining! It is a short trip up and down the canal. Connor shared some interesting stories and facts. The scenery is beautiful. I highly recommend!

Jennifer Iraggi (FIRE)
Excellent tourist destination! Always a wonderful time with my husband and my sons!!!
M Wiggs
Cassidy was our guide he done an excellent job explaining things and keeping everyone entertained.
CrocK
This tour is amazing and very much needed to get a break from hustle, now for the issues, the boats are packed in with a many people as can hold, so for 45 minutes you are a sardine in a can and there are no stops so why call it a taxi? Other than that it's a wonderful change in a very busy area.
Sabine “Sabine” P
Fun 45 minute water ride thru Bricktown
Dyannah Dyan
Beautiful scenery, great place to walk around to eat and shop.
GiGi Love
It was pretty and fun. We enjoyed our ride, the speaker , the ducks and our walk.
Christy Schroeder
Our water taxi guide was funny, witty, and very knowledgeable. It was a relaxing and fun tour. I plan to visit again in the future to try it out after dark. Our guide verbally described the scene after sunset, and it sounds like a beautiful scene.

Good boat ride with Daniel as a guide, he was very knowledgeable and friendly
Tommi Soto
I think it was Daniel the tour guide, the broke college kid lmao he was cool! Definitely enjoyed his energy! Deserves a raise for sure haha.
Sara Morgan
I enjoyed the boat ride. And I know our guide was trying but I really couldn't hear her. I did catch bits and pieces, but needed to be louder.
jurad hobbs
Our guide Mitch was funny as hell
Nora Collins
Today we took a Bricktown water Taxi ride with
Mr. Daniel. The ride was both exciting and informatkve. Why? Mr. Daniel incorporated his life and the history of beautifully. I loved the details dispicted when Mr. Daniel talked out native Indians and the injustices endured. As a Librarian from Louisiana I appreciate the research behind the tour. Good job and well articulated Mr. Daniel.
Audrey McGinnis
Our tour guide Cassidy was very informative. He made the history of the canal and of Oklahoma interesting to both adults and children. I would recommend this attraction to one.and all.
JUST TRY IT! DIY
great trip down the canals of Bricktown and to get some of the history of the area
Tom Neill
It was ok but a lot of the business along the route have not received from the covid
Nancy Kempher
Very entertaining! Our boat "captain" Daniel (although he doesn't like being called a captian) made the 40 minute ride a very pleasant time. Really enjoyed all the history lessons about OKC and how that City became to be. Really enjoyed it thank you CAPTAIN Daniel! LOL!
Chris Hajek
It was a fine ride. The taxi operator provided various stories to entertain while we went through the canal. I do not see a need to ride it again.
Alyssa Mills
The lady that did the tour was funny and did a great job. I went with a family of 13 and it was awesome. She went into great detail about art and statues on the tour. Alot of the history She talked about was very interesting. We even had 3 children with us and they loved it as well.
Johnny Wagner
Very clean and very educational about okc history thanks to our guide Julia

LOC FAMILY 4 life
Best experience Ever the sun was shine so bright I loved it nice job to the driver
Nate B
We haven't been there in ten years, and they changed it a bit. It is a little longer, but better.
Saettie Paddock
I am a native Oklahoman and while I have been to the city many times, I had never taken a moment to stop and ride the water taxi. Came to the city with my family for the weekend and decided to give it a shot, we were not disappointed. Cassidy was AWESOME! Hilarious and educational, just the way I like my history. 10/10 will bring friends from out of town if only to take a break from walking and hear what new material Cassidy can come up with next time. Thanks for the ride!
Christopher Rutherford
30 min boat tour of a section of Bricktown. Coolest part was the Land Run Monument and various art and sculptures.
Kinda weird that they give so much info about corporations on the tour but I assume the businesses pay a fee to be mentioned.
The art and Oklahoma history info could be beefed up a bit more, it was the most interesting part! Otherwise it was a relaxing time with my family.
Karen Maynard
The water taxi is definitely a great place to go. It was interesting with lots of history of the area from the driver. Well worth a visit.
jeanwitch m
45 minutes of fun on the water. Our guide was very informed and frequently funny. We learned a lot about OKC. Very reasonable price! Loved it. 😀 …
Gavin Ingram
Cool little tour of down town would definitely recommend to anyone at least once, shout out to Kale our tour guide at the time really helping make our experience for the trip!
Jeff Meade
Took my wife for our anniversary. And it was a little crowded. The website said they were still not filling water taxis to capacity because they are still practicing social distancing. That was not the case. Had to sit sideways in my seat and not even face my wife.
Jodie
Our guide, Bruce, was really fun and informative. It was a nice way to learn more about Oklahoma. Definitely would recommend this!
DIANA PRIHODA
Elissa was friendly and so knowledgeable about Oklahoma history. She made the sculptures and art work come alive for us.
Brachi Yudkowitz
We had a great experience. The tour was interesting and relaxing and was about 40 minutes. Our driver was Connor and he was entertaining and knowledgeable. They are friendly and helpful at the ticket counter. Highly recommend!
Randy Thurman
Bruce was very helpful, informative, frendly I could keep going. Just ask for him.
Megg Taylor
Pretty cool! The tour guides are really funny and make it fun. The boats are cool to ride on. They do charge for everyone, including babies. You don't get to pick your seats so if it's hot and sunny, bring hat, sunglasses & sunblock. You do learn some cool facts about Oklahoma that aren't well known.
vikram chauhan
Must visit and a lot of fun and guided tour
John Steffes
This was a lot of fun! Our captain was very entertaining, and had lots of insight knowledge of the surrounding area, and it's history! would highly recommend If there was a downside, it's narrow so if it's full and hot outside, you will be rubbing the people next to you, and across from you.
Raquel Payan
It just seems that it's missing something. I think the one in San Antonio is way better.
Shelby Freilich
We had a fantastic time! My husband and I wanted to watch the fireworks tonight from somewhere special so we took the water taxi at 9:30 & it was great. Our "captain" did a great job explaining everything around the canal. Definitely worth the money, I was surprised it was only $12. A must do if you're in OKC
Not Qunt
40 minutes around bricktown, I mean hey if it's your thing but overall it's just a boat.
Kaetee Bruns
Our tour guide was newer and just out of high school. He was very polite, funny, and well educated about the history of artwork, sculptures, and Brickrown.
Svetlana Babiy
Great place for everyone who interested in the architecture and history.
cadillackness
Thanks John for a great funny and informative water experience.

Sonya Meshque
Nice tour, if journey have a chance give it a try. The tour guide was great.
Taylor Zahm
Alissa with an A was a fantastic WaterTaxi Boat Guide. Super informative, we enjoyed her questions as much as her answers for ours. It was a perfect aftermeal activity that we hit as the sun went down.
Alyssa Figueroa
Great place, very relaxing during this precautions they are being very professional and very cautious. Before we got in they sanitized the boat and me and my family we were the only ones in the boat
Jayy Macias
Visited from Dallas this past weekend and truly enjoyed the water taxi. Our captain had an awesome personality and we had a blast. Thank you so much for showing us a great time and a very very affordable rate:)
Stephen Davignon
Had a great time! Learned a bit of history, got to kiss my beautiful wife under the "proposal bridge". It was really relaxing.
F A
We were a little skeptical about this tour because of the mixed reviews, but I am glad we did it. The taxi and clean and comfortable, the river walk is nice. Our tour guide Penny was so kind and funny. She explained a lot of historical facts about the city and the river walk. The horse statues were impressive. I will recommend to do it around 5pm so you will see everything and also the lights that go all over the river.
It was a 45 minutes tour. This is a must do I. Oklahoma City.
Harley Carswell
Wonderful time and ask for Kassidy to be your guide, he was wonderful!
Venkat Panidapu
Historic downtown. Great idea in converting canals as tourist attraction.
Carin Johnson
Such an entertaining driver. Was alot of fun and informative. A little pricey though.
Charlena Blackbear
Captain Jay was the best! He kept us entertained and educated on our surroundings. We ran into a problem when mid-sentence he said "well that's not good" the steering wheel spun in complete circles...lol.
We were stuck, needing a rescue boat to come save us and finish our tour all the while he kept us all laughing and no one minded being stuck. Best water taxi tour guide hands down, great experience...Thanks Captain Jay!!!😁
True Olson
I like this place. It has a miniature golf
Coco Natasha
Amazing place, and the guides are very engaging and knowledgeable
Justin
Great little tour around the Bricktown area. The boat captain was friendly and funny.
Amy Edwards
Great canal trip and great staff. Very informative about local history.
Greg Boehme
As we are traveling Route 66 ,the bricktown water taxi was on our must do list. Our driver, Daniel made the price of admission worth the cruise.
Lacey Schroeder
Our captain was Kassidy, he was informative and funny. Very nice ride.
Lori M
The taxi is really a tourist ride. It was fun. I recommend doing it if you are in the area.
Tiffany McComas
This is a pretty cool ride. The guy who drove us was funny and told us a lot of history about OKC. The ride is about 45 min. If you have been to the San Antonio Riverwalk then this doesn't compare, but it still is really cool to experience. We did ride under a bridge where a homeless guy was sleeping.
debbie sauve
Loved it. I was there for the site seeing and it was wonderful
Roshni Rao
A gorgeous ride around the downtown area. The drivers are all fun and very informative. Book tickets in advance if you don't want to wait
David Sheehan
Seems like it would be a nice area. There in late December
Victoria Schmidt
This is fun and entertaining for all ages! We enjoyed the ride and learned a lot about the area. It's worth the cost for sure!
Ericka Haught
Lots of fun because our Captain was so much fun.
Terri Hammond Ballard
Nice little relaxing trip. Our guide gave us some history and made the ride very pleasant.
Victoria Wiebe
Relaxing ride while your tour guide fills you in with interesting history of the town.
Robert Dixon
Was ok, guide shared the history of the bricktown area and some of the statues along the way. Seemed a bit short, didn't realize the canal wasn't a loop, and they did a u turn at each end, so you pass the same things 2x.
Andrew Martin
It’s okay. For a quick “fun activity “ but not for a planned grandiose experience don’t get your hopes up. For a business to thrive and they need a five star across the board. The best part was the boat driver he’s cool and deserves a promotion. Other than that, it’s a simple .5 mile man made water way and shows the status of the original Oklahoma race which was a work of art and amazing. Worth the ticket prices and to learn about Oklahoma.
Unholy Mess
Great tour given by Bruce! Very knowledgeable in Oklahoma history. The Landrun bronze is something to behold.
Gladys “Beba” Luciano
Omg!! Mr.Allen was so friendly and we enjoyed learning so much about the historical end of this beautiful place. He explained everything so well, great sense of humor!! Will definitely return to OK!!
Gladys from Florida!
Horatio Hewat
Our guide JULIA was great! She was funny, nice and very knowledgeable. The boat ride was pretty - waterfalls, ducks, geese, flowers, and the land run statues (very cool). We went on a Monday so the boat was not crowded at all (five in my group, and a couple). The only downside was the price - $56 for my group of five. It was still nice and I would highly recommend it, but probably wouldn't go again just because of the price.
Ms. Dolly
It's an okay ride. 40min ride. Back and fourth ride. Ummm. If I had to have a perfect ride.. better to sit in the very front of the boat to take the good pictures. If you're in line.. and your sitting on right side by the water.. your gonna have good seats. If your in the very front or very back (by arcade area) ... not much of any good shots. For me.. this is a 1 time thing. Never again.
Krisztina Fejes
We expected something else, it is rather an attraction for children
Tameria HARTLEY
Great place to visit. Lots of history.
Toni Huggins
Highly recommend! Not only is it informative and a great way to view the area but Conner was the best!! He made everyone laugh and did such an amazing job giving the history of the area. Don't miss this if you visit Bricktown!
Trent Koehn
We had an older gentleman for our tour guide and he made the tour very interesting and enjoyable with history etc.
susan charron
Had a great time taking the tour. We were a group of 9 ladies from all over the country. We were in OKC for or husbands reuion on the USS New Jersey. Our boad driver was Captain Cassidy. He was both informative and entertaining. He answered all our questions. Even went above and beyond when he became cowboy Cassidy 🤠. Great way to see the land rush sculptures.
Bambi Von Matterhorn
Did the art afloat showboat ride with a local band on board and it was super fun. We also got to bring beer our own beer. It goes fast though, maybe 4 songs.
Ruthey Morris
We took a 7:20pm tour last Friday and were lucky enough to have JOHN as our tour guide. He was friendly, fun, and super entertaining. Highly recommend!
Melony August
It was a very nice relaxing water ride. Captain tour guides were polite and gave bits and pieces of history along the canal and Oklahoma. We rode two taxis and each gave different accounts of some of the history. The company may want to educate their captain tour guides together. Over all, it was a nice ride.
Ms. A J Johnson
Took my grandson on this canal ride. The host was great. Some clear with appropriate jokes.
M C
A fun 40mins seeing Bricktown from a different angle. Our guide, JOHN, was awesome. Take cash on the boat so you can tip him; I didn't have any!
Coach Rob
This was awesome and very romantic. Something for couples and familes with smaller kids. It was very fun.
Yannet Barron
Worth every dime. We had John as our guide he did great!! We loved learning the story behind brick town, he was very friendly and out of all the attractions here at Okc this is the best one so far.
Tyler Goodrich
Little pricey but great tour guide, lots of fun facts and information.
Jaime Sanabria
The best boat 🚢 in the area. …
Shelley Hurle
We paid for four tickets and the children enjoyed themselves but our guide struggled with some questions.
Went off script and when I got back into town I stopped by wanted a reride for just myself. Told me to call back. I called three more times and then finally I just gave up. They had my telephone number from last week and I figured someone would call me back but so far no phone call. I leave for California soon. I might add we were the only group that tipped. Honestly, wanted a seasoned professional guide like I had seen in the past unfortunately we got a green one paid full price. We still tipped because he will get better with time just wish it wasn't my time and I really wish they would have given me a reride instead of having me call three times stop by finally leave the downtown area back to my hotel Renaissance Waterford. Not in the downtown area unfortunately. I think I'm more frustrated that it was a no-brainer to give me a re ride. After all she asked for my telephone number she found my records I was there the week before literally the week before. I called three times she said call back before you leave the area. I did as I was eating at Pearl's and still no reride verification. Come on we're not talking about a fishing trip or a luxury yacht trip. More like a Disneyland boat ride. Yes, it's cute but it could have been much more. I wasn't going to even mention the fact that the guide was far from perfect but I was charged legitimate money. I paid I tipped him because that's what the right thing to do. Children that were on the boat didn't know any difference but they were getting wrong information mostly story time. There's no need to embarrass the guy or correct him. If you get an experienced guide it could be a really fun and educational boat ride full of pretty photo opportunities even a waterfall, and I'm sure there's more things I don't know and I guess I will never know because I didn't get the guide I wanted. We were already boarded on the boat when I realized he was green as grass if I planted him he would grow. What was I supposed to do disembark the boat with my group that would have been terribly embarrassing for everybody.
Be sure you get a seasoned guide. Also, you can find some beautiful specimens of birds, ducks and small wildlife on the banks. You can get a good idea of the restaurants available too. You will go by wonderful displays of bronzes and I hear that there will be possibly some bands that will be playing at least I saw some areas for free band spots possibly and in the restaurants on the banks too. As you go by in the boat you'll be able to hear them. The boats do you have covers for the sun and there is plenty of restaurants for family entertainment. For a more enjoyable, educational ride you might want to ask how long they've been working there. I wouldn't mention it but I really think it makes a difference.
Laura Benavides
Excellent service, friendly staff!!! Very fun ride!!!
Gayla Kelly
Beautiful area. Knowledgeable and friendly guide. A must do.
Kristina S
The ride wasn't bad. I think that the guides could use a little bit more experience with the public and maybe a little more personality in the guide.
Antoine Sims
For us history nerds 2 thumbs up so many facts and information in a 30 minute time span. Really wish we came here first to find out all the great things that OKC has in walking distance. Are boat driver Alyssa did a great job keeping us motivated in the laughs going.
Tonya Edwards
Easy ticket purchase. Waited about 15 minutes for boat. Boat driver told lots of information about the buildings along the canal. Can't wait to go again
Ymireal Green (Ymireal)
LOVED OUR SISTA'S TRIP FOR THE CELEBRATION OF MY SIS BIRTHDAY!!!😍💗😘 …
Rachel Johnson
They are no longer doing the taxi service due to Covid. They have turned this into a tour only activity. My family and I were disappointed to pay for tickets and then discover they are for one ride only. They guides knowledgeable and the art along the canal is beautiful.
Robin Huff
This was a very interesting ride our guide was very informative and also very fun and we really enjoyed you I recommend this if you're going on a trip to make sure this is on one of your bucket list it was really enjoyable
Juan Gomez
I was not very impressed with this version of a river walk taxi, but it did provide a view of some monuments that grabbed my attention and lead me to take a second look. This ride with give you a close up view of a few murals that you may not get to see from the ground level.
If you have ever been to San Antonio, TX, this river ride is no comparison.
You will get to see an Indian Monument and a Land Grab Monument that made the ride a bit worth it, but there isn’t anything you can see without walking around and just sight seeing.
Marsha Vasquez
Cassidy was our captain and he was absolutely amazing! He made it so much fun and entertaining as well as educational! I would reccomend him. This guy is great at his job. What a memorable experience!
Debbie Mckinney
Very pretty, good food. Enjoyed it
Tiffany Carr (Tiff)
The driver we got was very outgoing, entertaining, and knowledgeable. It was awesome to learn about the history, local shops and restaurants near where we were.
Other than humid weather, it was an awesome experience!
Mz. Tee
What a wonderful ride I recommend everyone to take this ride
Mom of That Kid
Most of the fun of this tour is listening to the silliness of the captain. Informative on where everything is along the canal and some pretty art. Took longer than necessary in order to make you feel you're getting your money's worth. Great for playing Pokemon Go too.
FranklIn slaughter
Went to Bricktown for Labor Day weekend enjoyed the water taxi tour . Mitch was our driver and he did a great job going over the history of downtown okc and the state of Oklahoma. Great experience highly recommended & suggest you buy your tickets in advance times do book quick.
Also, to avoid paying for parking I suggest you park at bass pro shop and walk over to it or you can park near the movie theater & Toby Keith's restaurant for free. If not you will have to pay we paid $10 to park lesson learned.
Happy Not Mason :p
I came here during a leadership conference and it was a lot of fun to learn a little history and eat some good food with a fun and silly water taxi driver
Linda Q
Was well worth the 11 dollars. It's more like a city tour than an actual water taxi. We had a great driver/guide. He was very funny, friendly, and knowledgeable about the city. Would recommend to anyone visiting the city to check it out.
Saul R PachecoOrozco
The water taxi trip is fantastic
Terry Campbell
Nice, inexpensive water tour that you can ride as many times as you want the day of purchase.
Shantel DIxon
Loved our tour Cassidy, and the little history lesson he gave us throughout the tour. They don’t accept tips on card so bring cash. We tipped our guide as he did an exceptional job! Highly recommend
Prasad Mandalapu
Nice little tour on the Small water way
Trent
Very friendly! Getting tickets were easy, boat captain was pretty cool & funny. Even though it's the little brother of the San Antonio riverwalk... it was still a quaint little trip! The music & statues were awesome! Not too shabby, BWT.
amber T
Great experience! Only $11 a person. Get tickets online and book in advance for easier boarding. John was absolutely wonderful amd personable. We learned so much about the area.
Alice Frentz
Fabulous float through Bricktown's canal. Stunning views of Oklahoma City, the land rush statues and the.people strolling along the banks. Highly recommend!
Cheyenne Ogden
Pablo is an amazing driver, very friendly, kind, reassuring, funny and so much more. It was a very informational ride. Loved learning about the statuses and the Memorials.
Rhea Sanjel
My crowd didn't ride the ferry, but we walked the path beside, it was awesome, so much to see and do, absolutely had a blast.
Julie Fees
Fun, Neat, quick activity. The woman doing the tour info was great! Interesting facts and fun backstories. Very nice and helpful staff
James Macumber
Our captain was very funny! He had a lot of great personal anecdotes, and also provided us a detailed history of Bricktown. Additionally, we learned a good deal about the history of Oklahoma and Oklahoma City. Overall, worth the money for the ride. It is a good way to punctuate a long day of sightseeing if you're visiting the city like I was.
Aaron Reed
I am so sorry I don't remember the captain's name, but he was the only one with a personal pop-up umbrella attached to him! He was great! Honestly, I was a little skeptical at first, but he was fun and informative!
christine cockeran
A fun way to spend the afternoon!!
Sebastian “Google User” Giordano
Aaron L was super friendly and funny! Excellent tour guide and very knowledgeable! He even let us come on a later tour since we missed our scheduled tour.
Audra Price
We didn't do the water taxi but we absolutely loved walking around. It's a beautiful place to see. I saw the Sonic headquarters and magnolia trees which are one of my favorite flowers. This is a must see when visiting Oklahoma.
Dawn Garza
Loved the water taxi ride on the Riverwalk. Captain was informative and funny. It was overly crowded, luckily I was on the end and had room, otherwise I would have declined.
Wes Ferris
Staff were great. The trip was nice. Fairly priced..
R Andres
35-40 minute experience; lots of cool history! Kinda pricey though ($13 for ages 12+ and $10 for children under 11)
Jose De Leon
Loved the ride.. It was a great experience..
Rosemarie Brown
The Bricktown Water Taxi ride was a guided boat ride site-seeing experience on the Bricktown man-made river. Reasonable rate ($11 for adults). Cool things to see. Loved seeing the birds, ducks and geese along the route. Our guide was engaging and well-informed and made it fun. The ride itself was not too long so it was easy to do (45 min maybe?). Taking the water taxi ride first really gave us a good feel for the shops and restaurants that align the river so we knew what we wanted to go back and experience further on foot after the ride was over. We did this in the day time but would like to do it again at night.
Janea Baker
Nice place to hang and have a good time
Matt Duncan
Money well spent. Our boat captain was awesome, very friendly, funny and informative.

Informative and relaxing. Tour guide was awesome!!!
Cody Anderton
Awesome little tour down the canal! If you're in Oklahoma City it's a neat little tour of historic down town OKC!
Kenny Edgar
Great tour! We had John as our captain and he was full of information on the history of the area! Well worth the hour of our time!
Erica Nesbitt
We made Bricktown a pit stop to stay and check out the water taxi. It was a nice little boat ride. We learned some great information about Bricktown, but one of the girls thought she read that you can get on and off the taxi throughout Bricktown. We found out that wasn't the case.
Scott Wittig
Fun experience, our guide was awesome he kept us entertained and happy
diana morgan
Great for cost. Love that the 11 dollar pass is good all day. You can get off at stops, shop or eat. Get back on with digital pass. The only down side was the guide talked non stop the whole trip. The history provided was great. But less chatter would have been nice.
Michael Cobutn
Nice relaxing river tour with good information from our tour guide
Tessa Burleson
Was pretty neat but it depends on your boat guide. Ours was nice but didn't tell much of Oklahoma City and history. He was just telling jokes and talking to people beside the canal.
Mandy Young
This was a nice discovery when we stopped in Oklahoma City for lunch. The prices for the taxi were reasonable, and we enjoyed hearing about the history of Bricktown. Our guide was informative and engaging.
Ryan
We had a great time learning about Oklahoma City’s history. Connor was our tour guide, he was very informative and entertaining.

Covid precautions: Mask is a must on the boat, they have put up a glass that separates the boat in to 2 sections.
Brick town water taxi ride was a fun ride in the downtown of Oklahoma City. The guide gives you good information on the history of the city, little eatery’s and different places to visit in and around. The stone murals along the ride are captivating and the music they put on the boat is fun. Fun ride for kids.
Evanne Ellis
For the price, it was decent. It was fun riding through the canal and learning more about the area. Our driver tended to run into things, so that was a bit jarring.
Rodney Gates
Its not a large tour but its nice.
Very informative. Our guide was great.
I recommend a pre lunch tour.
Less people and the temp is just rite.
sajabelly
We didn't actually go on the taxi . However, the area is beautiful!! And the water is clean, beautiful flowering trees and flowers. Looks like fun!
Jeremy Fields
Had sooo much fun with the family. The guides are always funny and knowledgeable. It's a fun thing to do with a date or the family when you're looking for something local and reasonably priced. Do yourself a favor and order your tickets a head of time!!
Cristina Martens
Joey was our captain,he was absolutely amazing, he made it so much fun, knew all the history of Bricktown he included everone in a conversation, he was funny.
Colleen Simmons
Enjoyed the boat tour . The guide was very informative.
Jen Randle
Took a large group of youth and staff last week. Arranging this was easy and Pete took time to answer my questions. Taxi drivers were great and had fun with the groups (had 2 boats). Both the youth and staff had a great time. Thank you to everyone who made this a fun trip for the youth!
Fauxnomenal Flowers
It was very interesting. Something different and a good value.
O AGUIRRE
The boat ride is relaxing and the tour guides are friendly and give you a nice OKC history lesson. Definitely a must do

Savannah Huppmann
Daniel was awesome!! He answered all of our questions and provided a fun knowledgeable experience!! 10/10 recommend!
Sumit Nandy
Good ride, to know about the history of the city.
Mike Johnson
My family, and I just took a taxi tour with Aaron L. as our driver. He was great! Very knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about the history, and sights along the canal. We would definitely take a tour with him again. Thanks, Aaron!
Elaine Cooper
Julia and Alyssa are FAN-TABULOUS 😃 Julia is a fantastic boat captain. Her driving is very smooth. I learned A LOT about Oklahoma history and Alyssa has excellent customer service and friendly. Both ladies are professional and very nice. I will be back …
Jamie Shultz
Awesome experience!! Our driver John was amazing!! A must do when in town. Learned a lot of history and fun facts about OKC and Bricktown. 5 stars!!
JD Robinson
Good tour, learned a lot about the area.
Jody Clark
Amazing view incredible history we learned so much and had an absolute wonderful time totally worth it
ryan
very relaxing. the tour guy was awesome!! beautiful sites
L JB
We enjoy the water taxi. It's a short ride but you can ride all day unlimited. Great for a date night. The area has many attractions near to eat, arcade, mini golf, ice cream even white water man made rapids if you'd like. Make a day of it.
Stephanie Bryant
Lovely little ride to just relax and see the places along the waterfront. I was in OKC on business alone, first time, but I am sure it would make for a wonderful date night. Parking can be a bit of a pain though; and you have to wait for someone to be at the office to buy a ticket.
L M
Capt. Cassidy was hilarious. Very informative and I had a great time. We took the last ride of the night which was 11:45pm. I thought it was fun and he kept us laughing. I would do it again. By the way you can bring your alcohol but it has to be in a plastic cup
Daniel Menendez
Captain Elissa is the best super fun and gives a great tour really well at explaining the history ask for her to be your tour guide trust me
Elias Saliba
Kale was amazing we did enjoy the ride and learned alot about oklahoma
Sarah Brands
Fun brief history of Bricktown and canal with a humorous driver/guide. Lots of smiles and "oh really?"s. Family friendly. Good chance to see what's along the water including restaurants if you want to explore before choosing a place to eat.
jaimee Duren
Went to walk around for the day, unaware it was a event day. Party like the 1999s it was really amazing. Because we had my step daughter from outta state. And was low on funds since we was taken her home the next day. So we knew from being down there the night before that her whole family to ride it would be about $50 but that day tickets were half off we only gothe to ride once but it was really cool. Only thing is.... they should incorporate the indigenous tribes into the tour considering the land was built on their Blood Sweat and Tears. Yet you hear a lot about the greedy wHite mend who got stolen land dirt cheap
Don Robinson
This was our first experience on the canal and Water Taxi. Bought tickets online had dinner at Micky Mantles and walked straight down to board the taxi. Got in line and had a very short boarding time. We were FULL. Everything from start to finish was what I expected except for one thing. We did not stop at any point along the route. They advertise that you can hop on and off all day. Not on the boat we were on. Didn't think to ask the driver why. I was expecting it to be similar to riding the shuttles at larger airports to go from on terminal to another. They stop at each one not knowing whether or not anyone is getting on or off. Nothing was said during the ride so I figured maybe they don't do it at nights or weekends. It was crowded for sure. When we got back to our original location there was a very long line waiting. I have read several posts indicating similar confusion on the stops. One indicated there wasn't any room for anyone else to board. That would have been the case for our trip unless someone got off. No one could because the driver never asked if anyone wanted to get off. Never stopped at all. All in all we enjoyed the ride and it was informative and could not have been more pleasant. It was worth the $11.00. Not sure we would have gotten off at another location but if we had planned on making an entire day at Bricktown that would have been a bummer and defeated the purpose.
Donna B
In all honesty they need to rename this as a canal tour rather than water taxi. As such, its great. As a water taxi its pretty worthless. None of the guides I saw would stop (no room they said) and there's no real opportunity to interrupt the guide to hop off. We took 2 trips. The first was awesome. The second was literally an almost verbatim repeat of the first with a different driver. Maybe if they had 2 different types of boats for the same $11 adult ticket - one does the whole tour, one stops at each stop to hop on and off.
So, if you want a great tour of the canal and a quick Oklahoma history lesson, definitely take the water taxi. Don't, however expect it to stop at various points along the canal.
Sarah Pinnix
We had a wonderful tour of Bricktown with Daniel. The water taxi is a great way to get a feel for Bricktown and decide what you want to do. The Oklahoma Land Run monument was really cool! Daniel was upbeat and entertaining. We loved it.
Marisol Jacinto
My boyfriend and I had a great time on the ride, our captain David was funny and gave us a lot of awesome history.
lame james (Ricky)
Had a lovely time our captain was the best. I cannot remember her name but I remember her messing and joking around with another captain and Casey so maybe that might help narrow it down.
Deonna Newton
My family enjoyed the canal tour. The murals and statues are beautiful. Cassidy, our guide, was very knowledgeable and entertaining.
Rod InTexas
Wonderful experience and a fair price. I was so favorably impressed with the Bricktown Canal and all the beautiful scenery, birds, restaurants, hotels and businesses in the Bricktown, Oklahoma City area. The Bricktown Water Taxi is THE way to take it all in and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
The quality of the tour guides varies with some being very knowledgeable about the history of Oklahoma, the Oklahoma City downtown and Bricktown itself while some "boat captains" are obviously rather new to the area and still learning. But nevertheless, I highly recommend the Bricktown Water Taxi.
Chloe Foster
It is definitely something to do if you have spare cash and have never been to okalahoma. If your familiar to the area it dosnt talk about anything you don't already know. It is in a great area. The water is not pretty the ducks are though.
Kim C.
Came back with friends and toured again. Capt. Cassidy is amazing!! Really enjoyed it!
‐
Fantastic! We had no idea OKC had this to offer. Beautiful and so much history
Jack Watters
The ride was okay. Calming. The captain was kinda lame. The real problem...his knowledge of the land run. My wife is Native American. She learned the history from her Elders. As most Natives did. Maybe you should consult with the ones who lost their land over that run. You pretend to educate the passengers. Educate yourselves first. You might get more stars.
Matt Eads
Captain Jeremy is the best. He was funny, entertaining, and informative. The next time we ride, I’d be fine letting other people take my spot in line so I can ride on his boat again.
Brad Simpson
About a 30-40 minute tour of the areas around the Bricktown waterway. Nice opportunity to relax and take in the sites if you're not up to walking. The ride won't stop if you see some place you'd like to visit... so "water taxi" is kind of a misnomer. There are a few places around Bricktown that offer pretty good military discounts, be sure to have your ID handy.
Vaidehi Phase
Amazing taxi ride with our knowledgeable guide. She shared so much of history of Bricktown... Must visit and take a taxi ride without fail...
Vickie T
Aaron L. made the water taxi the highlight of our day. His mix between history and jokes had us informed and laughing the whole time. Definitely worth the ticket price because you get to use it all day! Keep up the great work!
Emily Quintana
Mitch is awesome
Fun, happy, glad to have seen him when I visited OK
Jhon Pereda (JPere)
I'm a visitor to OKC, and so was my girlfriend and our 5 year old. We heard the water taxi was a must visit and I'm very glad we did. The tour guides were very pleasant and their dad jokes were appreciated. I learned things about the city I wouldn't haven't learned otherwise, and it was nice being able to get off at designated stops. In fact, we parked our car by the movie theater and used the water taxi to drop us off basically right next to our car. With it being a hot August summer day, that was definitely a perk for us.
The taxi ride itself is short but sweet. I wish there was more to the river to see, but it does a great job of covering the Bricktown places you'd probably like to visit. I'm from Miami, and I wish we had something like this.
George Castanon
I've yet to take a ride for myself. Although, every group that I have seen looks like they are having a blast. So I'm looking forward to taking a ride.
Rachel Alley
Daniel was amazing! Thank you so much for bringing awareness to the indigenous history of Oklahoma!! Absolutely awesome tour guide!
noah elliott
Ted was a great tour guide!!
Angie
The driver, Pablo, was great!! He was very knowledgeable about the Bricktown area. The actual seating on the boat was a little uncomfortable and I thought the price was a little high.
Joe D. Morgan
I love to take the water taxis on the canal. I've been many times since it opened. I like to take out of town guests on it.
brandon mccormack
Would just walk the canals. Don't go too early because most the stores don't open up until later on in the day. They do offer a mini golf down there though.
Tina Bjorklund
Fun family experience. Our guide was informative and entertaining. Loved seeing the Sooner sculptures.
Aaron B
Great guide and nice smooth ride. Very informative and great little area. Be even more interesting when things open back up.
Robert Mackay
This was a fun time. I learned a lot more about oklahoma then i thought i would. Mitch was a great guide.
Jam M
I grew up in this part of Oklahoma and did not know 75% of the history that our captain told us. He was also quite the comedian..reminded me of Jim Carey. This boat ride was worth every penny! Luckily, we only waited about ten minutes before taking off down the canal.
Pauline Burrell-Saward
Was on the boat trip today with Daniel, what an entertaining & informative young man he was, recommend the trip to anyone visiting the area
Matthew Sims
Boat captain was great. Name was Mitch. He's great at his job. Very nice ride and history lesson.
Corey Johnson
Fun experience for all ages, & the whole family unit! Great to see the sights and all the places to eat at in bricktown canal area, also great to hear the driver give a detailed description of the bricktown area as your going along!

What a fun way to get a little bit of history and see the beautiful canal area. The ride is rather short but packs in lots of info. Conner was a fun 'captain' of our boat.
Melvin Colindres
Awesome experience ! Almost comparable to San Antonio Riverwalk Boat Cruise. And its long.
Kimberly Arnold
The guy who gave us the tour was awesome forgot his name but he's skinny and blonde and kind of shaggy. I loved the ride
Jose Pedro Mora Ortiz
Free ride on December, awesome people and it was a beautiful ride around a part of the channel. Normally the ride takes around 40 minutes. Wheelchair user can get into the boat too.
Sharon Lynne Sartell
Having eaten earlier at Cattlemen ‘s (👍🏻👍🏻), we stayed aboard our water taxi and enjoyed Cassidy’s banter. Knowledge of a little of this, a little of that, he made our cruise delightful and fun. Hope you get to Captain a cruise with Paul Moore who created a wonderfully picturesque group sculpture of the historic Oklahoma land rush. Kudos to this city’s foresight of turning California Avenue into this amazing venue!
Heather
I was on carriage the ride where my now Fiance proposed 🥰 …
Tatiana Dzierewienko
Loved the host/driver. Very knowledgeable AND personable. A rare but delightful mix. Learned more about Oklahoma in those 20min then in the 4+ yrs of living here
Marisol Alvarado
It's a very beautiful scenery especially during the month of July and August the river all right will take you to restaurants, the movie theater, shopping centers and even the baseball field. The Greenery is very beautiful and nice.
Norma Haynes
A must do while visiting Bricktown, a bit of history of the area and some great views of the canal.
Burton Rominger
While a short tour, is very informative.

We stopped in OKC for the night and went to the Water Taxi tours and had a great time. We had the guide Aaron L and he is funny and very informative we definitely recommend this tour and request Aaron L if you can !!!! Thanks Aaron for the enjoyable tour.
James Rieck
Daylen, our captain, was so awesome!! Very easy process to get tix online. Had a good time and heard about some cool OKC history. There are cool murals, mosaics, and a lot of other interesting things to see!
Clodia Mandes
It doesn't compare with Riverwalk in San Antonio but it's a nice gateway. It is a short ride with pretty boring sights except for the Sooners monument. The ride is $11,and it is worth. Great ride for kids or grampas.
Caroline Combest.Barthelemy
beautiful scenery. guide was great. just wasnt as long as id hoped and full of people. so not quite a relaxing peaceful experience when you are inches away from someone and face to face w someone you dont know..
Rex Spears
I just want to say our taxi driver, I believe his name was Dallin, was outstanding friendly very informative and really made our trip worthwhile and amazing. We rode the water taxi about 8 in the evening on July 2nd. We will definitely tell everybody about this fantastic Adventure.
Dave Chivers
The boat Capt was very good and informative. Made the ride memorable.
Mr Eliteg6
Very fun tour. Great thing to do if you have an hour to kill and want to learn a little more about OKC.
Allena Nnabuike
I loved it that is one thing that everybody should put on their list of things to do it let you go through and the shows you some of the historical monuments that they have around the river and the scenery is awesome can't wait to go back!
Andrea Magee Davis
Had a great time and Mitch was very personable and knowledgeable.
