11/27/2022 -The front desk girl was rude with her mouth. Spanish or light skin. However, in and out quicker than I thought. No where to park is an issue. I hope I never have to go back there. Brother man guard was cool..

Clerks were fast and professional. Security guard informative and nice. Came prepared for 1-2 hour wait for 2 birth certificates, but we were in and out within 30 minutes. Read directions carefully. MONEY ORDERS FOR EXACT AMOUNT ARE ONLY PAYMENT ACCEPTED.

I recently went to the bureau to obtain copy of my birth certificate. After standing in wrong line for 1/2 an hour. I found the right line and waited another 1/2 an hour. They were taking 5 at a time due to covid19 protocol. Once inside, I was in an out in 20 minutes. Not bad!

Workers are extremely professional and polite. My wait time was about 20 minutes. The actual process only took minutes, granted, I came with all the required documentation. Great experience

Went to get a new city ID. Went in at noon on a Thursday afternoon around noon, I was walking out with my new card at 12:32. I was shocked but it.couldmt have been easier.

They were pretty quick and very kind didn't talk long at all but be nice if their website mentioned payment types or even when you can so that I would have gotten the money order before I arrived the 1st time (the only payment they take by the way)

The service inside was ok but then making us wait outside this cold is unacceptable. I mean I understand covid rules ..however their should be a waiting area for those who are freezing outside especially with the temperatures going below the teens all this week.

Anytime I need to deal with a government agency, I sadly have extremely low expectations. So I was shocked when I went to Vital Statistics in Newark and it was so simple! The women and the guard that worked there were pleasant and organized. It took me longer to find a place to park than to actually get my birth certificate! Thank you for providing a positive experience - something you rarely have when dealing with a government agency today!

I’ve been here in three different occasions to get my marriage license and my kids birth certificates. This last one was the fastest and easiest one. So for Covid measures, they are attending by appointment only, BUT! If you have your money order ready and they don’t have that many people they might let you in. It literally took me 15mins to be in and out. I took me more time to find parking than getting my paperwork. Go early, be ready with all the documents and money order, be polite and you will be out in no time.

I just spoke to a Ms. Miller regarding getting my name corrected on my birth certificate, she gave me two options on how to obtain this info and then told me the cost and how long it would take. Thank you Ms. Miller and you were very professional. She didn't just hang up she said Have a Great Day.

It’s a multi department building so it’s was crowded with people getting medical tests etc so you definitely have to mask up

Must have an appointment and you must have a money order in order to get your birth certificate married certificate or your or someone's death certificate. They're very quick in vital statistics and very professional
