Book this as a last minute fun idea to do with family. Great experience with lots of fun with teenage kids. Staff was very helpful and was able to set us up right away without any waiting. The game was 30 minutes and we played the trivia game, which was lots of fun as we all competed. Would recommend as a fun activity.

The Squid Games are here for all, and EVERYONE gets to survive. Just like the show from Red Light, Green Light to the actual Squid Game, as a player you play ALL the games from the show, which was created and executed very well. How you ask? With the handy dandy head visor gadget, your moments are tracked, making this interactive and immersive in every way. It was 1 hour long and lots of effective communication and teamwork is necessary to do well. The little game visors on your head kept close monitoring of your movements and is quite sensitive so be careful with how you move (especially during Red Light, Green Light and the cookie game). Overall, I loved the Squid Game and want to come back to try more. I loved this experience and I want to bring more friends along! Honestly great team building activity. Tips: -Walking forward is going up on the screen and walking back is down on the screen. Seems obvious but in the heat of the moment you can get confused! -There is a space to put your drinks and phones down in the Gamebox -Directly across the street from the Essex Market On Site -Bathroom -Drinks -Lockers

A lot of fun. I can't wait to do it again. We were a total of three. We played the angry birds and coins game but I saw a group playing the squid game and I'm definitely going to do that. The team that works there are extremely friendly and helpful. The games come with instructions but if you have any issues they are available to assist. They have lockers to put your stuff but everyone shares one locker so be mindful of the size of the bags you have.

Such a great group activity. They say the rooms can accommodate up to 6 but I found my group of 4 was the perfect size as some tasks require utilizing the edges and corners of the room. There are free lockers to store items and I noticed an open sectioned off space for parties. The staff was pleasant.

Definitely recommend!! So much fun! We played squid games and it was a lot of fun. Geana is awesome and so nice! She was so informative friendly and overall a great person.

Fun and unique experience! Me and my dad went in totally blind and had a great time. Super quick and easy to set up and play, and the game itself worked great with the format(We chose Temple of coins). Staff were very helpful, explained everything nicely, and I would definitely go again!

The experience was a lot of fun. We chose to do Squid Game and the animations for the mini games were really cool. At first, the visors were a little uncomfortable because it kept becoming loose and they are very sensitive, but you get used to it. The room fit the two of us really nicely, but it might be a little tight with more people. Overall, we really enjoyed the experience and would definitely come again.

We had a really fun time at immersive game box. Our group had two adults a 9 year old and a 6 year old. We played angry birds and Shawn the sheep. Angry birds was everyone except the 6 year olds favorite. Shawn the sheep was more for their age. The staff was friendly. Check in was quick. Everything was state of the art. The place was very clean

We got here a little late and the staff was kind enough to still let us finish our game. They were really cool and nice, helpful and overall we had a GREAT time. Will definitely be back with a bigger group. Didn’t catch the staff’s name but great people on 10/28/22 around 5:30 - 7pm.

We had the most enjoyable hour here this past weekend (three adults and three kids age 10,7 and 5). We played the 60 minute alien game option (I forget the name) and the hour whizzed past. Everyone had a blast! Very clean, bright, airy, well decorated and well maintained space, I loved the way the gaming rooms were set up- side by side yet you couldn’t hear the people in the next cube. I wish this place was closer to uptown where we live as we would be here ALL THE TIME. There are discount prices if you book your next visit before you leave. Fantastic way for the family to spend an hour. Highly recommend for everyone 5+, whether it be family groups or a no kids hangout. I can’t imagine anyone who wouldn’t enjoy it. I typically don’t have the patience or interest for gaming at home but this involves movement and teamwork and is a whole heap of fun!

Visited this place on labor day with my daughter and husband. With the predicted rain that day, I wanted to do a fun indoor activity and this place didn't disappoint. My child is too young for escape rooms, but she enjoyed the temple of coins game room. We did 30 minutes since it was our first time, but could easily do an hour here. Front end staff member was very friendly and did fast check in. They also sanitize each game room after each session. Will definitely go back and try other games.

This was actually very fun. You will have to work together as a family to pass each game but it feels like the hour goes by so quick. You might feel like you want to do another because you’re having so much fun you don’t realize the time. But you will definitely work up a sweat.

A guest in my group was 10 minutes late and they allowed us to wait until they arrived to start our game time. It is kid friendly, as I went with my daughter for her birthday and she loved it! So much fun! We did the Squid Games and had the best time. I loved that they have lockers and that you can order soft drinks before the game starts or at "halftime". The staff was great, very pleasant and helpful, and they seem to genuinely enjoy making sure you have a good time, which is much appreciated. We'll definitely be back to try the other games, or to beat our Squid record!

Best, wholesome adult fun! You break a little sweat but mostly laugh and play! It’s great for 4 people (we had 3 people so even faster play) you won’t be waiting too long for your turn! Easy to play. Had a blast and fully worth it.

This place is amazing! My boyfriend and I have been here twice, and it’s been a wonderful time on both occasions. The first time we played Squid Game and the second time we played Psychedelic Mansion. Squid Game was fairly straightforward and a great introduction to the Immersive Gamebox experience. Once you’re used to the mechanics of the visor and motion tracking, more challenging games like Psychedelic Mansion are amazing too. The staff is friendly, the place is clean, and the games are fun. Will be coming back soon :). (P.S.: All my fellow college kids there’s a discount for us on certain days!)

This was a fun and active experience. My girlfriend loved it for her Birthday! The Angry Birds was pretty fun. But the temple coin was super fun and active made you run and do lots OF movement . The employee shiva was very helpful and kind.

Update- customer service has issued a full refund to make amends for the experience we had, which is more than gracious so updating my rating- not that it changed my experience but because customer service was extremely receptive and helpful and HEARD complaints and addressed them accordingly. Thank you for that! I began to give this place 2 stars but giving them 1 because I came here to celebrate a birthday for my neice, it wasn’t at all what we expected (we were thinking VR but it was NOT that) which may have been an oversight on our behalf but when speaking to employees there about a partial refund or potential credit, they said they would have someone from corporate (I guess) reach out about the possibility, gave me a card and I haven’t heard a peep since. Customer service is paramount for me even if the experience wasn’t what I’d expected. Not to mention one of the employees-perhaps a supervisor, a heavier set Caucasian woman (I didn’t get her name), was extremely condescending and seem very short tempered with the kids I was with about how to play the game. It’s as if she was agitated we were even there. Overall - out of an hr we stayed about 10 mins and the experience was subpar. I wouldn’t entirely recommend but if you do simply know what to expect. It’s NOT VR and It’s VERY small.

This was a super fun interactive experience! 10/10 would recommend to anyone. I did the psychedelic mansion experience and though they do state it’s for more advanced players who have played there before, I still enjoyed myself. If you like a challenge, I say go for the more expert level rooms.

The tech named Rey was awesome! I want to have his baby! But other than Rey, the game was okay, nothing special. My friend and I played Angry Birds and Temple of Coins. Neither blew my mind. Angry Birds was just Angry Birds played on a larger devise. Temple of Coins, we had no idea what to expect and it was just walking around collecting coins with graphics akin to my graphing calculator. Had we known more about the games we definitely would have chosen something different, but there's not much info to go on when deciding which package to choose. Also, I was never asked to choose a team name, and not only did they NOT use the name on the reservation, they used the name on my credit card as my reservation name AND team name. Ha I known my name would be permanently on the leader board I wouldn't have gone.

Went with the family--8 ppl-- had an absolute blast playing the games. The staff were helpful , the space was nice, and the VR and technology worked perfectly. Highly recommend for a group outing or a family friendly activity.

Heads up this place is NOT VR. I was definitely mislead thinking they had VR and when I got there with my small party it was too late to turn back. Cons- This place is NOT VR and if I’m being honest the game I played (Squid Game) wasn’t that fun. However I will say maybe it’s just not for my age group (my group was 20+) I’d recommend 13 years old would be the max. Pros- Customer service was great, there was a young black man with locs (I didn’t get his name) super nice, was patient with us, explained all the games to us, explained how to play Squid game CLEARLY to my foreign friends (they are still learning English). Shout out to him. Overall- The place itself was a letdown sadly, especially for the price, it was like $150 for three people. The reason it gets 3 stars instead of 2 is because of a slight oversight on my end and OUTSTANDING customer service. Other than that if your older than 13 and really wanna go, I suggest going with people you will have the most fun with.

Was walking by and noticed the lights and decided to check it out I was greeted by malachi who gave me a rundown on the whole thing which made me more interested and he brought me over to Sham to set me up. Me and my girlfriend did a test trial 10 minutes and it was great, Both employees helped me out and made us feel comfortable shouts out to them and I will definitely be back.

Great experience!! Had a load of fun. I love that we had to kinda figure it all out on our own. 90s vibe with a modern twist on the temple run game. Definitely worth going with friends. 1 hr is a must 30 mins is a tease! The only points of improvement I'd say are in the actual box. Make picutre more vibrant and color rich. The room was too bright. Also make the music/sound louder. The experience should feel way more immersive!
