Reviews of Charging Bull

Pretty cool sight to see. The bull is iconic but the line to see it was absurd. My advice is to go early on a weekday morning, like 8 am. Any other time it's quite busy with people wanting a picture with it. It's also not that special, it's cool to see but not very important to wait in line and have some time with it really.
But when in the area, definitely check it out. Why not.

The bull is an icon in wall street and definitely a must do in any tourist bucket list but to be honest, it's always pack 🤷🏻♀️ so allow enough time to visit and get your picture.
Perhaps very early in the morning is less crowded.
Jian Melendez
If you're ever around Wall St., you have check out the charging bull. Just have some patience if you're visiting during a weekend because there's always a line to take pictures in front of and in the back of the bull. But it is pretty cool. The sculpture is open to the public.
Anthony O'Connell-Gros
Cool sculpture to have a look at I just don't see the appeal of queuing to take a picture with the bull. If you are in the area have a look at it. It is a cool feature if you want queue you can but it is not really worth it. There are plenty of other things that you need to queue for so queue for something worth while instead of a simple bull.
Ray Torres
Must see if you are in Wall Street area! This bronze, “The Charging Bull” represents a strong and prosperous financial market. It was made in 1989. It is usually very busy unless you visit early. People are great about taking turns to take pictures in the front or in the back! LOL!
3ric
One of my favorite places in NYC!! It usually takes about 30 minutes in line. If you come here early enough (11:00 am) it takes about 5 minutes to get a great picture!
Sam Butt
Not sure what f it’s worth waiting in queue for an hour to get your picture taken with the Bull. I took it from side to save time. But it’s good to see Wall Street and financial district. You can walk to free ferry terminal to Staten Island and view Statue of Liberty for free :)
David S
Bit of a line up to get your pictures, but was fun to visit the charging bull that you’ve seen countless times in the movies. Battery Park and Wall Street near by and about a 15 minute walk from the 9/11 memorial.
Nes Borne
Easy to get to, although lines form early to get their pictures taken. There are two lines, front and rear, choose wisely. Close by a museum which is free to enter. Souvenir vendors on both side of the street to get your trinkets, more cost effective than getting from official stores or gift shops across Time Sq.
Rohan Kunchakuri
Nothing much to see it’s just a bull where people come to take pictures with its balls more than the bull it self.
It was a boring experience so adding many more photos from the trip.
Luis Daniel
If you have some spare time in Wall Street/Financial District, it is worth checking out. There will be tons of tourists there, but I think it's worth at least walking by. Some good food options close by on Broadway, Fulton, and Pearl Street as well
Tarang S
Iconic sculpture near Wall Street. There were queues on both sides of the bull and that was hilarious!! Not sure what brings good luck when people were queued up to touch its horns and it’s balls
Z
This is defiantly an iconic landmark you should stop by and see if you are in the area. The crowds will almost always be a little chaotic, but it is worth the wait to see something so cool. Highly recommend this on the tourist bucket list.
Ceci Ramos
It’s a landmark and like anyone and everyone who visits, there’s people. At least they line up to take turns for a picture. It may be absurd but it is what it is. If that’s something you would like to avoid then super early in the morning or late at night are your best options.
Gily Dord
I mean it’s definitely a bull… It’s very crowded and had a whole line of people trying to take pictures with its balls. I just tickled them a little bit and now I expect some good wealth DUH (will update y’all if I become a millionaire). It’s fun and silly overall, why not check it out and imagine yourself Wolf of Wall street 🦅Rah🦅 …
Nicholas Klein
I'm not sure I fully understand the obsession with this statue, but it was crazy seeing the line of people waiting on BOTH ends (longer for the back!) to take photos with it. You can also get photos from the side with NO wait if you time it right between groups :) Both of these images are the quick view you can get if you don't want to wait in line.
Jade S.
Cool to see because it is an icon of NYC, but unfortunately we didn't have time to take a photo with the bull. There were lines of people queued up to take photos both in the front and rear side of the statue.
S B
The line for pictures with the Bull’s butt were huge! But just get a quick front photo and it’s all you need! Hop and hop off bus has a good view while you pass it, just sit on the left side on the top deck.
Donovan Leong
Too many people queueing to take photos with this iconic bull. Some were crouching under it or touching the balls. We just took photos from afar.
Arvind Ravulavaru
If you're feeling a little bearish about your day, take a stroll over to Charging Bull and let this massive bronze beast inspire you to take on the world. This statue is a true icon of New York City and the perfect spot for a photo op.
Jana Košíková
Very touristy place - beware of pickpockets!!! Really. Watch out, they are organised and they'll use the moment when you take a picture not paying attention. And with the crowd around you...
Manny Sergentakis
It's not symbolic enough. We all know that the stock market is controlled and manipulated. Politicians and a handful of elites are doing the controlling, and the normal working class is getting controlled and manipulated. Have Nancy Pelosi riding the bull while the bull has his horns plowing through construction workers and nurses. Now, that would be a fitting statue that symbolizes Wall Street correctly.
Mirka Mendez
Neat NYC attraction. Good for pictures, short walk from Wallstreet. There most likely will be many people trying to get a picture. Limited standing space since it's at a steet fork.
Walden Hudson
It’s just awesome reflecting on what this stands for. Definitely worth the photo op and a moment to appreciate it when you visit. Best to go earlier to avoid the crowds though.
DMarx
I touched it’s balls and life has been a financial blessing ever since. I found a dollar in some lady’s wallet moments after I cradled these spheres, shortly after; I got a call on a pay phone that said my long lost step son passed away and left me his family fortune and Yu Gi Oh cards. I then beat the senate in court over a global ponzy scheme I organized in highschool, and I married my cousins highschool sweetheart. I was Then was casted as a hand model in a athletes foot commercial, and I won the lottery twice. Please go touch the bull
John Harris
Cool statue symbolizing the bull of the stock market for me. It is very crowded with many tours stopping for pictures. Plan to stop by as you visit downtown sites like 9/11, Trinity Church and Battery Park.
Kevin White
Ya know it a cool tourist trap. I mean it’s Wall St. and people stand in li e to take a pic under a bulls lack of manhood. Yet it’s cool to see in NYC.
Harrison C. Davies
The icon of Wall Street and the New York Financial District! The Charging Bull’s depiction of aggression and unpredictability is further symbolized by its rather young history despite being so emblematic.🐂📈#chargingbull #wallstreet #newyorkcity #finacialdistrict #nyc #stockmarket #manhattan #moneyneversleeps …
Elizzabeth Corey
Very busy as usual took my husband here for the first time and he loved it. Even took a picture with the dog.
The vendors are a lovely add on
Aditya Narayanan
A must-visit in flower Manhattan. Note that there is always a long line of people to take photos with the bull - or rather, two lines (one for the front and one for the back). Go earlier in the morning, or in the winter when the line shortens to just about five minutes. Good luck!
Jon Doyle
Cool for photo shoots by a historic landmark! We went on a week day around lunch time and few people in line to take photos but if your near, def go.
Francis Abbott
Was not a fan of the barricades around it as they were kind of pointless as people were just jumping in and out of pictures. Definitely something to see though!
Mayesha Sahir Mim
Cool but huge queue for taking a picture- not worth it unless you really really love the bull 😬 …
Berat Onur Ersen
Hard to understand why people are this much enthusiastic about taking pictures with this bull. Holding the horn, spanking its balls. What are you doing?
Does it feel like Leonardo di Caprio in the movie Wolf of Wall Street? I am really curious.
Ben Blanchard
I was unprepared for the long line of people who wanted a picture with the anatomically accurate rear-end of the Charging Bull
Kara Dent
It was fun to see it. The lines for a picture(front and back) were ridiculous but we enjoyed just walking past.
Petra B
Always have a line, but short waiting for taking picture with the Bull. Must visit once for tourists. Easy to get there and not hard to find.
KING CHOHANZ
The iconic charging bull right in the middle of the street but usually really crowded and long wait lines to take a photo!
Burkay ALPYILDIZ
Be aware of the two lines at the Charging Bull. One by the horns is for nyc memories and one at the back is for abundance!
Paul Velastegui
It so intriguing that people get photos even from the Balls. It is a great place for tourists or even New Yorkers but if you wanna have a chance at great photos is better early or late at night
Nilmadhav Mishra
This is one of the most popular landmarks in NY. Any visitor comes to NY this place always stays in their to do list. This is a public place nice to have some good pics. Also the famous Wall Street visible from this place. Good place for spending an hour or two. Also great verities of food available in the surroundings.
JamNoSpam DeezNuhtz
Easy to get to always a line great for insta photos then walk over to Trinity church of battery park … Brooklyn bridge is not far as well and Chinatown is the spot to hit for some yum yum
Jenna Meeser
Best part is that you can see where the statue has been touched the most based on where he's shiniest and there are two places specifically: his head and his balls!
EDDIE CH
Omg too many people over there. Just couldn’t get through and got nice shot
Sai Likhith K
Oh God! It's a crazy experience. The big bull symbolism for rising market in the wall street. Tourists can visit and climb bull and take pics. Expect a long queue to take pics. It's worth wait.
There is a local ride across wall street also available in buses nearby and visitors can visit it. There is an indian culinary available nearby where we get Indian food by bangladeshi. Chicken over rice is famous.
Sir Lewiston
Excellent, but there are many renovations, but good.

Charging Bull, sometimes referred to as the Wall Street Bull or the Bowling Green Bull, is a bronze sculpture that stands on Broadway just north of Bowling Green in the Financial District of Manhattan, New York City. The 7,100-pound (3,200 kg) bronze sculpture, standing 11 feet (3.4 m) tall and measuring 16 feet (4.9 m) long, depicts a bull, the symbol of aggressive financial optimism and prosperity. Charging Bull is a popular tourist destination that draws thousands of people a day, symbolizing Wall Street and the Financial District.
kawaljeet singh Chadha
A great place to visit. Bull are good. There is a superstition that if you rub the bulls testicllleees,.it brings good luck. So there is a much longer line from behind instead of front. The night view is amazing.
Nabil Yousef
Wonderful bronze statue located on the close to the famous Wall Street and broadway.
the best time to go is early in the morning because there’s a lot of people want to take a photo, long line and crowded
Nanda Jagadeesh Doijode
Awesome. There's a saying...catch the bull by it tail. The queue for photos is longer at the tail end than in the front. Holding it's testicles first... brings fortune, is the belief. So first back view.. then front. 😜😉 …
Dejan Braki
Nowhere else in the world you'll stand in line to touch and cuddle bull's testicles.
But, many people do it here - in downtown Manhattan.
Huge bull bronze statue stands on a small square in front of the American Indian museum (in the ex Custom's house), and that's the prime attraction where even organized tours with a guide come ??!!
It's a nice statue, representing American people strength and endurance, but rather a pass by quick photo op.
Jerry Jacob
A must see attraction. There may be a short line to take posed pics in close proximity (fontal) to the bull, but you can take pics from other angles freely. If you're interested in people watching you can have fun watching people posing at the wrong end of the bull touching the bull's "boy parts".
Rajesh Kumar
It's a nice photo opportunity place. It's crowded during weekends and holidays. Wait time was about 15mts during the visit.
S. M. (Smacks)
It’s the Charging Bull statue that has become a symbol of Wall Street. It was pretty busy on the day we were there and it had two lines. One for the front of the bull, and the other line was for photos with the bull’s nuts??? It was a nice spring day, and people were climbing around, on top of and under this bronze. It was more entertaining watching people almost fall off the bull than it was to see it. We did not spend time in line to get photos with the bull, just snapped a few with hopes the market will rebound after a shaky start to 2022! Overall, glad we stopped to see it, but it wasn’t really anything that special. So much more to do in NYC…
Larbi Mouedden
Iconic Charging Bull statue for a photo op.
The two lines were too long. Yes two lines. One in the front of the bull for the tourists. And the back line for the retail investors hoping to catch a better luck in the stock market.
Douglas Seah
It’s the Wall Street icon. Everyone is here to touch the bull’s jewels. However, I strongly encourage you not to risk it during this Covid period.
There is always a queue during the weekend to touch them.
Petunia
Very magnificent and fun. There is a lot of people watching and around
Dipak Chowdhury
If you are visiting wall street then definitely you should go and see the Bull of Wall Street or the Bowling Green Bull. This is a bronze sculpture on Broadway .
Best time to take pictures - very early morning or late evening !
Cecilia Díaz Enríquez
The statue itself IS pretty cool and if you believe in urban legends, make sure to stroke it's balls to assure yourself a return to NYC. However, it can get super crowded and hard to take cool photos of the statue itself. What's amazing of this location, and doesn't get enough attention, are the skyscrapers you get in the background! It's amazing for photographs and just to appreciate the city's architecture!
Joseph Strohmeyer
Was very exciting for me to visit the Bull. It's so iconic to the many éxitos de la vida.
Bishop Nathaniel R Kodavatikanti
You will find large Q lane . Worth to wait to snap

The Charging Bull is a universal symbol of the American stock market and big business.
The charging bull represents the courage and can-do spirit of Americans and people whom believe around the world. It’s a very popular travel site, attracts many tourists.
Rakesh Walter
The charging bull or Wall street bull, I walk pass by it Monday-Friday heading to work. No matter what time I walk pass by the bull, there is a always someone taking pictures usually the regular suspect - tourist. The bull represents courage, resilency, can do attitude of American, and New Yorkers. The area is well maintained and usually monitored by NYPD. I like the picture of the fearless girl because I am a girl's dad. We need to instill courage and confidence in our daughters. Its interesting what we New Yorkers take for granted, tourist looks forward to see and enjoy.
Alessio Zuccotti
The statue is really well made and maintained. There's a long queue to get a photo near it, but if you're not interested in getting in the photo you can try to capture the moment of change between people wanting to get a souvenir photo! This is what I did!
Aiman Saeed
Finally visited the most iconic place in New York. I always wanted to visit this place since my childhood. I was shocked when I reach this place, there was a huge line of people who wanted to take the picture with the charging bull. I took the photo too but couldn't take it without anyone around it.
I love the vibe of the place though it was v chilly and windy that day. Yet I enjoyed my time
Austin Mills
I never thought I'd see the day that I would be able to see the famous, or infamous depending who you ask, Charging Bull. Placed on the edge of a park, smack dap in between two streets this beauty could be easily missed.
While there is a very long line to get a picture with the bull, you can easily snap your own between the photos others are taking. Like many other things, the pictures, and reproductions of The Charging Bull could never do justice to the real thing!
Solange
There were two very long line-ups, one for the head and the other for the tail. I was still able to catch a few pictures from the side while crossing the street.
Hezy Jamez
A must visit site if your visiting the city. It can get very crowded during the day. I found that earlier times in the day, like around 7am....The bull is usually empty and can get best pictures then.
Arun Verma
New York never fails to give you options to have fun, enjoy the city walk, the beauty of the surrounding and then comes the charging bull. Good place on the middle of the road near wall street to get a picture with the charging bull which you will cherish throughout your life. During winters, you will also see the surrounding covered with colorful tulips.
Jerome Graham
REALLY liked the orderly line people formed to take turns taking pictures. Much better than the free for all the last time I was here... took about 10 min wait but well worth it for the great pic!
W T
one of the places most favoured by tourists from all over the world... especially asians... but the thing is chinese favoured 'red' but the rest of the world favoured 'green', maybe thats why the bull statue itself is golden. after all who doesnt love 'gold'?
Charging Bull, sometimes referred to as the Bull of Wall Street or the Bowling Green Bull, is a bronze sculpture that stands on Broadway just north of Bowling Green in the Financial District of Manhattan in New York City.
The sculpture was created by Italian artist Arturo Di Modica in the wake of the 1987 Black Monday stock market crash. Late in the evening of Thursday, December 14, 1989, Di Modica arrived on Wall Street with Charging Bull on the back of a truck and illegally dropped the sculpture outside of the New York Stock Exchange Building. After being removed by the New York City Police Department later that day, Charging Bull was installed at Bowling Green on December 20, 1989. Despite initially having only a temporary permit to be located at Bowling Green, Charging Bull became a popular tourist attraction. Di Modica may have been influenced by a pair of huge metallic sculptures, a charging bull and a bear, placed in front of the Frankfurt, Germany Stock Exchange in 1985 as part of the 400th celebration of the exchange.
Following the success of the original sculpture, Di Modica created a number of variations of the Charging Bull which have been sold to private collectors. Charging Bull has been a subject of criticism from an anti-capitalist perspective, such as in the Occupy Wall Street protests of 2011, and has also been compared to the biblical golden calf worshiped by the Israelites shortly after their Exodus from Egypt.

If you're in the neighborhood, you might want to stop by Charging Bull, which is an American symbol of the stock market. In spite of the crowdedness, and the line for a picture, it's still a nice place to visit.
zhiyi zhao
I hope I win the lottery soon so I can buy an Arri camera. Wish me luck🤣🤣🤣🤣 …
A. Trapp
It's a big bronze bull. It was cool. It is a really cool large statue.Don't expect that you are visiting a museum or a organize tourist attraction. It is literally just a piece of art at the fork in a road. I have read a few of the reviews in which people have only given one or two stars. They seem to be upset that there's not an organized line or anything. As I said, it is just a statue on the side of the road. Don't expect to be pampered. I really don't understand how this could get less than five stars.
So there is going to be traffic passing by and during the day I can imagine there are lots of tourists. At 11 at night it's not crowded. However, I do not know what the night scene is like in the area, so proceed with caution if you're going that late.
If you are driving, you are going to need to consider parking somewhere. Late at night there are going to be spots on the street, but during the day I would imagine you would need to try to find a parking garage somewhere nearby.
Sourabh Agarwal
Can it get any more iconic than Wall Street charging bull? People come in hoards to get the photo clicked. I would love to mention here the statue of brave girl standing in front of the bull. Would have loved to click both of them in one frame but could not get chance due to crowd
Martin Diez
I rate a 4 stars as this is a very crowded place with lots of tourists. But the charging bull or bull of wall-street is worth to see in New York of course. You will choose if you want to spend some time lining to get a picture of the full bull. Personally we didn't and were thrilled to see it.
Axel Fernandes
Super crowded and over hyped. There is no place to sit in this part of the financial center , some would point out that there is a park right opposite the bull , but this park shuts down after 6 or 7 PM so it's kinda useless. Touch the bull from behind for some good luck. Also be ready to wait in line.
Expuit
Very nice Bull! 🐂🐂🐂 Best to go early in the morning around 8am to avoid queues …
Apurv
People queue-up in line to touch the balls of this bull. And a big one. One of the famous attractions at wall street, NYC. There's a coffee spot 100m from the bull, Hot Choc there is worth trying.
Komal M
It is a good place to take your photo! But wait in line for a picture with the bull!
gabriel saka
It's a good location close to Wall Street, attracts a lot of attention especially from foreigners and tourists. Gets congested by the day and becomes harder to take a photo as the day goes on. My recommendation would be, visit early mornings, it's much more easier and better
Abdallah abu ghalyoun
This statue is synonymous with Wall St. and I was impressed at the sheer size of it. People on The Street say you've got to rub the nose, horns and testicles of the bull for good luck which seems to be very popular. Get there early as there are long queues every day. It's a bit of a disappointment that they relocated the Fearless Girl I thought the 2 statues complemented each other.
Bene Garcia
Late post: take a guess on what people want to touch. Go ahead, visit once, not sure if there's a wish thing here. Tip: it's surrounded by tourists, so maybe sat or sun morning is good
Ed Sepulveda
Awesome place to visit very energetic feeling.
Lauren Brigman
Pictures with my daughter here made for one of the best experiences on our trip to NYC this past summer. If you are looking to get some intimate time with this creature though, you’ll have to get up pretty early in the morning! By 5:30am there were already 20 or so people out taking pictures with the bull! This iconic symbol is not only special to families like mine, who work in the financial field, but surprisingly very popular to foreigners who truly admire our economic structure! It’s truly such an eclectic mass of people! It was wonderful to see and have such easy access to! So glad my daughter had the chance to prove herself such a perfectly fearless girl.
Gordon Mitchell
It's iconic, lots of tourists, be patient, wait your turn for a close-up, been there done that. No photo's required, you've seen them all.
Anees Abdullah
Cool statue of the bull but it was unbelievably crowded when I was there. While I don't think it is worth to queue for a pose, I couldn't even get a clear shot of the bull given the crowd.
Adventures with Rachel
Slightly overrated in huge tourist attraction. There was a line in the front of the bull to take a picture with its face and a picture in the rear to take pictures with balls haha. Cool to see but not sure if it's worth your time to stand in line as it can get quite long.
Connie Hsu
A great photo spot for New York tourists. However it is always crowded. It is impossible to pose with the bull without people around. Typically, there are two groups of people stand on each side of the bull to pose for photos. Additionally, a set of people go behind the bull to hold the bull's balls to pose for photos. Don't know what kind of luck is coming from holding balls. But some sort of people enjoy it.
Luciano Barbati
Feel the vibe of wall street.
Money Money Money 💰💰💰
A must in Manhattan. …
Pasha
Unnecessarily long queue😅 and badly managed but it’s worth seeing the bull once🦬 …
Paulo Nunes
Overrated touristic attraction, always too crowded with people trying to take pictures.
john paul anderson lionel
Something to look at whilst in passing. It's in the middle of a road that forks. It was super crowded when we went because there was some Haitian celebration thing going on right by there bull. It was so packed we couldn't even get close to the bull for solo pictures. Dont go on three weekend is you want solo pictures.
Ummay Aiman
A fun place! It’s New York City’s signature place. A popular photo spot. Located in Wall Street Area. You must visit this place when you are in NYC. I took two trains from Time Square to this location. The bull represents the courage and can-do-spirit of all Americans.
Franklin Dillard
This used to be fun to visit, but now there are just long lines to take a photo with it...AT BOTH ENDS of the bull there are lines. SMH. I mean, it's iconic, but with all the people it is just not photographic anymore.
Vin Chenzo
Interesting sculpture so allow some time to take a picture of it.
M. Showers
Cool and popular sopt!
Pamela Hanson
Must see if visiting the area. I had guests in town for the weekend and we took them to see the Bull Of Wall Street. Iconic site!
Ebony reynolds
Took my kids last year in the summer time 2020.It was real early like 7:00am in the morning. No one was around.I took alot of pictures.Easy to get to by train and not to far from The Battery Park.Charging Bull🐂 …
Dipendu Das
Crowded most of the time with people trying to take a snap. Worth a watch as you mat have seen it in television. But nothing is much interesting here apart from the big buildings it is surrounded by.
explorerapurv
This statue is located between Trinity Church and South Ferry on Broadway Street. Its made of Bronze and is huge. There are lot of lights around the statue from the high rise buildings. This makes it easier to take photos during night as well. Dare enough to take a photo with Bull's rear. Must visit if you are walking towards South Ferry. Nearest metro station is Bowling Green Station. Insta #agmav
Balu Mannam
People are crazy to take photos. There are a lot of people awaiting in queue. Girls touch the balls of bull and gets photos.
Karthick Ramani
Always on our list of must see attractions in New York City whenever we are visiting downtown. The only downside is that over the years it has gained a lot of popularity and there is a lot of crowd around it. So you can hardly see the Bull completely with people covering it from all sides. See attached pictures. There are also huge lines to take a photo next to the bull especially on the backside :) I suggest seeing the bull and taking a picture next to one of the souvenirs!!! A good camera person can make it work
Scott Cummings
Very cool to see this icon. It was Feb 1, absolutely freezing outside. Lol, my hand went numb for 10 mins from touching bare handed the brass sculpture and the windchill. People from all over the world come to see this iconic statue. It was neat to see so many enjoying this statue.
Shanku Banerjee
Place was good especially the road side vendors. Lot of things to buy. Place was crowded, be ready to spend sm time in the queue
Batbayar Dashdorj
This is really celebrity statue I ever saw (within same size statues) people are waiting in line only for take photo with. I wasn’t brave enough to join to the line. But enjoyed watching from distance.
Oksana Solianyk
Main Attraction - for the money! Don't miss it !😂😂😂 …
Kenny W
A pretty straight forward option for people who just finish the Statue of Liberty tour. Could be a line for a photo if the weather is nice.
Sanjay Gupta
“lucky to have a pic with it... ;) overcrowded....” -
While going to ferry/ NYC stock exchange/ Wall st. you can stop by for it.
very well build ...the aggression of bull, symbol of wall st .but yes, overcrowded, you have to wait 20 odd minutes for a pic with it.
you can take a souvenir from nearby vendors.
Omar S
Cool place, but it's just a bull with a lot of tourists grabbing his genitals for good luck and taking a picture.
Anirban Roy
This is very close to the Battery Park. A 5 minute walk. There are queues to click selfies with the bull; one from the front and the other frkm behind. It will take you an hour to get your turn. There are good restaurants nearby.
Ana H
A lot of people taking pics with the bull but there’s quite a sight around it as well. NYC’s architecture is so nice to look at.
eduardo luna
No big deal, too many tourist, only it's fun to see the way people take pictures of it
Vincenzo Prestera
Iconic sculpture of NYC. The Charging bull is located in Wall Street area and you can reach it by walk (from One World Trace Center) or by Subway. Super suggested it.
_______________________________________________________________________
Charging Bull, which is sometimes referred to as the Wall Street Bull or the Bowling Green Bull, is a bronze sculpture that stands in Bowling Green in the Financial District in Manhattan, New York City.
The sculpture was created by Sicilian artist Arturo Di Modica. On December 14, 1989 Di Modica arrived on Wall Street with Charging Bull on the back of a truck and illegally dropped the sculpture outside of the New York Stock Exchange. The sculpture was conceived in the wake of the 1987 Black Monday stock market crash. Having arrived penniless in the USA in 1970, Di Modica felt indebted to America for welcoming him and enabling his career as a successful sculptor. Charging Bull was his gift back to America and intended to inspire each person who came into contact with it to carry on fighting through the hard times after the market crash for a brighter future.[3]
Di Modica would later recount to the art critic Anthony Haden Guest "My point was to show people that if you want to do something in a moment things are very bad, you can do it. You can do it by yourself. My point was that you must be strong"
Nina Trankovа
This is a fun experience seeing the bull and taking a photo. Some people are lined to have all the space for themselves. I guess they believe that touching it is attracting success. It may take you 40 min waiting though. I didn't mind having an instant capture in front of it when others were around and moved on. If you are like me, read the story in Wiki, take a snapshot and go.Respect for the artist's donation gesture to NY city!
t. heigui
Wow. This bull is impressive. It is massove. Being there you can feel the power that this thing is supposed to represent. It is worth the visit and go at night. There aren't a lot of people there crowding around you trying to take pictures too.
Ok that is the positive. Will someone destroy that little girl in front of the statute. It ruins the experience. It is sad to see that the city of New York allows their art to be desecrated for a political message. THIS. BULL REPRESENTS A LOT OF THINGS about the market and it's power... the girl in front of the denigrates that by suggesting that a little girl is more powerful than the market. Huh? It goes against what the original message was.

What’s not to love about the bull?! A must for any tourist visiting the area or even native New Yorkers. You definitely also need to check out the “Fearless girl” statute. She stands right in front of the bull with her hands to the side ready to confront the bulls’s fury. Be forewarned that there’s always a line to grab a pic with the bull during the hours of about 9am to 6pm. On any given day there are about 60ppl lined up wanting a picture with the great bull that represents the strength of our financial markets.
Aruna Thilakarathne
Amazing larger than life bull made of bronze. It is worth to have a quick look at this as well if you visit New York City as this is an iconic sculpture in NYC in my opinion. I happened to go to this place at night and there were not much crowd so it was bit easier to take a picture with this.
Jayme Madden
I couldnt believe the line to take a pic next to this! Gotta love tourists!
Szymon Bogdański
the bull as it is, everyone sees 😁 a famous place in NY, usually a queue for a photo. You will be standing for the photo from the front of the bull and from the back. …
Doug Smith
This place is listed 3 times on the map. But be ready for a line to take a picture. People wasted tons of ti.e and were taking a lot of different pictures when we were there. Opted for a picture from the other side. Grabbed this one from a fleeting moment when people just walked away. Line was about 50 feet.
Jessica Garcia
It’s just a photo op but there’s always a line of people waiting to take a pic so it’s difficult to get a solo pic of you and the bull or just the bull. Top tourist site but it’s a lot of hype for just a decent pic. Had to crop the people out of my pic.
Emma Kotobi
People were lined up waiting to take a picture touching the balls of the bronze bull in front of the NYSE
Jack H
Another great city icon. Personally I loved this for what it stands for and the strength it shows. So it was important foe us to see this. However, be prepared for a crowd of people, there was a lot of respect for each other here though. Everyone took turns at getting photos and not getting in others photos from different positions on the bull
D P
The symbol of a bull who is charging in front of the the Wall street stock exchange
Ashish Kanodia
Located in the financial district near the famous wall Street. It is always way to crowded and sometime you might hate the feeling. People were super excited to get themselves clicked with the bull and with the balls as well. People consider it lucky to touch/hold the ball of the charging bull.
EK
It is a world famous spot, but not a must place to visit. If you are interested in the Wall Street or if you are planning to see the Statue of Liberty (which you should), you could take a quick stop for a quick photo. More often than not, there will be a lot of people lined up to take a photo with the bull.
Michael Shaker
The famous charging bull sculpture in wall street you simply can't visit new York without taking a couple of photos with this famous new York sculpture.its also said it it brings good luck.
sumanth babu
Nice statute to stop by and do a quick look, the statue is well built and the detailed design is cool. I really like the author’s idea, he wants every person to be stronger in any situation like the energetic bull.
Ozzlemce
Not very special, if you are close just see.
Mauricio Pretto
It's quite a bizarre thing to me that people actually take pictures with the bull, but I saw many people taking photos with the "back" of the bull if you understand me ....
well, famous places...
Laura Ramirez
Amazing little place to walk by. Lots of people taking photos, and gorgeous view of the deep city south. Walking distance from a bay view of the Statue of Liberty.
Alan Huang
Not so much tourist if you were up early and we were able to take dozens of photos
selim rohayem
Great to take pictures and you should buy a suvenier I got 3 for 10 $
Rana Magdy
It was not crowded as it was before the pandemic. It was a quite place at 8:00 pm. You can take pics as you can and there is enough light to take good pics at night. But everyone takes the masks off to take pics
Sandip Ray
Take any subway to reach Wall Street station and 5-10 mins walk would take you here. Recently the girl posing in front of the bull has been relocated to new location.
Timothy Morgan
It is one of the most iconic things to see in NYC. Usually PACKED with people, but early in the morning no one is there. Always a few tourists are touching the bulls "package", but it is a great photo opportunity if you can get one. Try to get there early in the morning if you want a clear photo and not have to wait in line for photos. If it is super busy, like crazy, it is because some tour is there. Grab a coffee or go to a different location nearby and try again later.
Aravind Sesetty
Althogh the Charging Bull is a magnificent statue, the ridiculously long lines (one for the front, and one for the back) make it not very enjoyable. There is no security near the bull and people just bunch up around it trying to form a line of their own!! There is also not enough space to enjoy the bull as there are roads on both sides and there are traffic cones all around!! It's nice to take a picture, but if the line looks too long, just snap yourself a picture with it from across the street.
Julian Tu
Cute bull though....
Pros:
- Landmark so nice to see
- bull looks as it does online
Cons:
- wasn't expecting it to be smack in thr middle of traffic of a 2 way traffic
- alot of tourist was here and surrounded.
Would recommend going early if you want a clear picture with the bull.
Kylee B
Good place to stop to say you've visited but the crowds were over the top!
Edwin Sanchez
We took the ferry from Brooklyn to Wall street. Let me tell ya I took lots of photos, excellent! Seeing the people all around its heart punding, fabulous!
Adam Zolotenko
You have to visit the Charging Bull!!! Please keep in mind that a lot of tourists visit the bull every day and its only possible to take pictures alone if you are there early in the morning. Otherwise you will have a picture with hundrets of peoples
Its a magic place and i loved it ✌🏻
Vika Gl
A good place for photos, you can take pictures from both the back and the front, but there is a very long queue to take pictures with the bull
Rajasekar Murugesan
Charging bull also one of the place to cover when visiting Wall Street.
Chris
I don't care about the statue itself but it's hilarious to see people queueing for a foto with a bull statue.
Monique Wise
Cool to see. There was a line so didn't get a great photo, however I got a few from afar!
Michael Yarden
Must see Manhattan attraction, we visit here every time we are in New York City, we usually take Broadway all the way down to battery park that is located just three minutes from there, if you want to take a good photo you need to get here early morning, all other times of the day you would find it hard to get one as the place is as crowded as it can get, iconic nyc/Wall Street symbol, Do Not Miss
Mohammed Kamal Al-Samarraie
Unfortunately I didn't catch the testis because the places was crowded. They said you'll be lucky if you catch it. I say I'm lucky to visit NY 😁 …
NITESH SHINDE
One of the touristy spots in New York City.
If possible visit at night to avoid long queues for pictures.
I visited at midnight so it was just me, my friends and a few handful of other people.
Satyendranath Das
The Charging Bull :
This three-and-a-half-ton bronze sculpture "Charging Bull" sits proudly in New York City’s financial district, symbolizing “the power of the American people” and representing the spirit of New York where anyone can come, work hard and succeed.
The use of a charging bull is no accident. The bull is a symbol of a strong stock market in which participants are optimistic and confident. The theory is that euphoric investor psychology causes investors to buy more and more, driving the market higher.
Many onlookers—from tourists to brokers to traders—believe that the 16-foot-long sculpture brings luck, prosperity and a good financial day, but on one condition: You have to rub the bull in the rear on his testicles, famously known as the “Bulls Balls.”
Wilson Barahona
Very nice place 👌 i love you wall street and near the brooklyn Bridge and the Ovelistico …
Juliana Nunes
Accidentally we found the Charging Bull sculpture, we were just walking by to a restaurant and I finally saw it. There was a huge line up, actually two, one to take a picture from its back (butt) and another to take a pic from its front. I didn’t wait to taken a pic myself ✌🏾 …
Wajahat Khan
Make sure you go early in the day. Long queues there. I would rather stand on the side and take a picture. Nothing really much. If you got to see a statue then after this go to wall street and check the fearless girl statue, which was earlier placed opposite charging bull statue however was subsequently removed on backlash from the sculptor of fearless girl.
Esmonde Tan
Located at one of the prime districts in New York!
Honestly, it’s just a bull. But it’s quite interesting if you know the story behind it. Do read up if not it would be just another statue with a photo opportunity!
Do note that there will Be a lot of people around queuing up for to take a photo with the bull.
Mónica Perestrelo
Famous but be aware that you need to be in a queue to touch. More precisely, two, one in front and one in the back.
Efstathia Kalapothakos
Great quick selfie attraction. Security is high in the area which at night you can appreciate. We walked by during the day but the lines to take a picture were quite long.
Joshua Kimball
Huge attraction, the only place that I have experienced where people stood in a long line to get their picture taken touching the bull's testicles.
Peace B
Nice place. There is so much to do in NYC. Charging Bull is one such spot. DO NOT miss stopping by the place.IF you want a picture with the bull try going in the morning like really early morning or late night, those are the only times the bull is left alone...lol! There is always a huge line and is almost always crowded. Its in the financial district so you can either do wall street combo or stop by on your way to Statue of liberty's ferry which is right across the street. I wish someone told me this could have saved us an evening.
Jacob Dong
Go kiss this bull's balls. It will allegedly give you good fortune for the year to come. There's a long line for pictures usually but you can squeeze past if you're quick.
Jesse Brooks (J.D.)
Great place to visit. The scavenger hunt we did included rubbing the bulls balls, but I don’t feel any luckier 🤷♂️ …
Caleb Hill
So cool to see! Highly recommended going as early as you can that way you can get some really cool pictures without all the crowds.
Rikesh Mistry
A well designed and sculpted piece of artwork, definitely a hot-spot for art enthusiasts. You will have a great time visiting if you are with your family or friends!
Sam
It was enjoyable taking some pictures with the charging bull. We went there after Christmas day, and it was very crowded. We needed to wait in a line to get pictures. Some people were not happy that the guards asked them to finish taking the photos because a line of people was waiting their turn, but it was fun.
Abhilasha Ram
You need to stay in queue to get a good look
Warren Edwards
Definitely a must see if you are in the financial district. My hotel was 2 streets away so I wanted to see what all the fuss was about with this big brass bull. It's definitely an icon - everyone has varying oppions some more political than others.
I went by before dinner and there is a long line so I thought I'll come back later and there were still a long line. Jumped in line took about 10 minutes for my turn; I took the photo for the family in front of me and the family behind me took my photo. I went by the next day in the morning around 8 and no one was out there so I think the tourist really get going around 9:00 a.m.
Lizma Thomas
A unique attraction on the streets of New York, however very crowded. You can take pictures from the front and the back of the bull. Both sides you will find a long queue. You will have to stand at least for 10-15 mins in each line
Burak Eseroglu
One of the major tourist attractions in NYC. In December of 1989, the charging bull brought to the city and installed it under the Christmas tree in front of the New York Stock Exchange, as a gift to New York. NYPD briefly impounded the sculpture, but after the public protested, the NYC Parks Department officially installed it in Bowling Green Park a week later. In its final state, it weighed over three and a half tons.
Moubachir Silicon Valley
Good but no place to take pictures. The sculpture is great. Love it.
Jake
Super popular spot at any time of the day. You have to see the bull and get good luck anytime you visit NYC. Its located right next to a subway entrance which is super convenient.
AWESOME STEELERS
Iconic Bull raging on Wall Street! Must see!
There will be a line for pics. Enjoy!
Adrian Sączek
Great place, it’s free off charge, one of the greatest symbols of US economy located close to Wall st. Morning time is not crowded that much so is much easier to make pictures.
Pankaj Seith
Good photo ops ! Save time and stand on side and take pictures. Good vantage points by standing on the boulders.
Jim Wood
As it turns out running with the bull isn't as hard, or dangerous, as I was lead to believe. I found it quite easy to run circles around this symbol of free range capitalism. But if course the stories that we all share about free market capitalism always leave out the parts where it's far from free market. It is however free from repercussions when it acts irresponsibly. It's free from failure too, when the government bails its sorry sack out after greed and corruption bring it to its knees. Some day we will all wake up and realize we can collectively change how this system functions for everyone.
Jeanne Mawad
too much people in this spot waiting to take pictures. had a nice time taking rest after a long day of walking. just sit and research the history of this place.
Shrey Somani
If you like stocks, this is must visit. New York City’s signature place. Located in Wall Street Area. You must visit this place when you are in NYC. Took two trains from Time Square to this location.
Max Kue
It was a great attraction. You cannot visit New York without stopping by the Charging Bull. There were loads of tourists from all over the Country as well as the World. Everyone snapping photos and waiting for their turn to get a photo standing next to the Bull. There were street foods and vendors all around the area too, which made the attraction much more interesting. We enjoyed it.
Amy Watson Sanchez Cuoq
Not the same without Fearless Girl (she's been moved to stare down the Stock Exchange).
Also, if you insist on touching the bull's balls, make sure you go online/make the queue/ whatever, just play nice with the other kids and wait your turn. It's serious big business every.damn.time. I go past and maybe use some hand sanitizer.
Thomas Hornik
Honestly, I agree with many others. This is just a bronze statue of a bull. Why so many people queue for a photo of it's testicles is beyond me. If you MUST see this statue and get a picture, arrive before 0830. No queues, no people in the background. Just a bull and whatever you want to do with it.
The American Indian museum and Bowling Green park immediately adjacent to the Bull are way better; in fact, just check out the four large sculptures adorning the museum if you want to see something truly amazing.
Mihir Mandal
Great and very crowded, not get time to take pic...
jaimin jani
Unique monument. You may see queue of visitor for picture. If you are in hurry go on side and click a pic
Manikandan P
Wall Street Charging Bull.. Popular tourist attraction in the New York City and always crowded. People stand in line to get the pics. Near to it you will find museum, Broadway shows, south ferry station, trinity church and NY Stock Exchange in a walkable distance.
Christopher Daniels
Go early or late, I managed to get a pretty good photo by getting there late at night but otherwise, as others have said, it is completely beset by tourist hordes. The statue itself is impressive and obviously pretty iconic so definitely worth seeing.
Grégory Lesterlin
Going there is a ritual we have every time we come to NYC. Nothing special about the place, just a superstition we have :)
Leslie-Ann Armand
great place but skip the extremely long line to take pictures, just take one from the side!
Phu Diep
Lots of tourists come here for a photo with Charging Bull statue. Long line waiting sometimes if you need to take photos in front of the Bull. You can consider to take photo from the back as some tourists do
Alejandro Gil
Hope it gives me good luck with my finances haha
sirihaas gaddipati
No proper line and it’s like a regular statue side the lane which is not taken any good care of
Alicia James
My son had a ball taking pictures with the bull it was very busy with tourists
Leandro Pimentel
mystical place, with all its tradition of wealth and money, it is worth the visit, it is worth the photo for remembrance I recommend, it had a long line to be able to take a photo. A Wall Street, vale a pena a visita, você consegue relembrar cenários de filmes muito bacana
Tom Bombadil
Charging Bull statue is a NYC symbol and a Capitalism symbol in general, and I love it! 👊🏻 😍💰
Here is a tip, come to that area somewhere after 10-11pm, don’t worry, you won’t be mugged. But you will find much more relaxed atmosphere, almost no people, great photo ops and just enjoyable to walk around the financial district. New York City is more romantic with nightlights on! There are few bars in a area that stay open late and 24/7 McDonald on Broadway, if you want a budget snack.
I included photo of a spot taken at 11:38pm as an evidence.
Cheers!
Chetan Yallapurkar
If you are in New York City , highly suggest you visit the charging bull near the New York Stock Exchange. Remember to touch the balls for good luck.
Sam Busto
The Charging Bull commonly called the Wall Street Bull. There is a line to take pictures but it moves quick, usually two lines actually. You can take a picture in the front “grabbing the bull by the horns” or you can take one in the back… with the balls.
Richard Furlong
If you want to watch tourists wait in line to get photographed holding a metal bulls testicles, this is the place.
Ed Truong
It was alright. Basically the charging bull on Wall Street. There were heaps of people here queuing up for a photo shoot. It's one of the landmarks here in New York so probably should come here at least once and check it out. It is close to World Trade Centre by walking a few blocks if you are up for abit of a stroll.
Tsymbal
Symbol of Wall Street, symbol of capitalism! It’s so great to annoy leftists)
Kayoung Kim (Sabrina)
Always filled with many tourists. I hope there’s some management or organization to manage those mass. But still, I love that bull ;)
Wendy Garcia
This is an interesting photo opportunity. Many people stand in line just to take a picture of themselves "handling" the bull's genitalia. I opted for a photo with his head...and the line was a lot shorter on that end!
Obaid Binghubash
Amazing , larger than life, detailed sculpture of a "charging bull". Only issue is the long queue you have to wait to take a proper picture.
Nonetheless worth the wait.
Daniel Porter
Iconic, so many people it's hard to get a good picture
Samson Olalekan
A Must See! Go Early before 8am to get a decent photo as it could get crowded in the later morning and afternoons
Dom
Tons of people surrounding it but historic place
Vitorino Mello Oliveira
A must-see in New York’s FiDi. The charging bull attracts crowds of tourists for a picture - be sure to get there early or you’ll wait for a couple of moments to get your selfie next to the bronze symbol of Wall Street.
Baijnath
Great place to visit but very much crowdy. If try to enjoy by seeing the charging bull that is not possible because of lots of crowd. Everyone in the crowd asking for a photo. You will definitely hear some random sounds in different languages like " meri photo le li (hindi), mom please take my phicture (english). There were many more sounds with different languages as I don't know those languages so unable to write here. If you try to click a photo with charging bull then it is very difficult to click a photo with charging bull because many more peoples are also trying to click photos at the same time. I have waited for ten minutes for a photo at last I was able to take a photo with charging bull. To visit USA and exploring it was one of my wish and my wish completed in Aug 2018.
Amir Bagheri
You will stay in line for some time if you wanna take a picture with the Bull. And there are two lines, one for the front and one for the rear of the bull!! The pic shows how crowded it was during my visit!
Katrina Couch
Best time to go is at night. I still think the Fearless Girl maks a bigger impact here than where they moved her.
Nathalie Walgis
Packed when I was there around 9 am - but wondering why they moved the girl?
3bwarwick
Iconic statue in the middle of a couple of very busy roads. There is a ton of stuff to do around this area. You can easily spend the day down there. Go early or go late in the day if you want a good picture with the Charging Bull. It gets crowded.
Manish Kumar
Nice place to see the popular charging bull. This bull is used in Many bollywood movies like kal ho na ho. There are lots of place near by to visit like world trade center,New York stock exchange etc..the place is free and you don't need to pay anything . Transportation is very good . You will get Subway and path trains any time.
Lovejit Dhillon
Touristic place ,expect long lines to take a photo with the bull ,the place has a lot of gift shops near it and you can walk to the 9/11 memorial from there it’s not far.
Sunimal Rathnayake
Kind of weird but quite amazing sight when you see a charging bull admits huge sky kissing building with utmost importance to the world...
Skillfully carved statue with bronze metallic look. I wonder we can this Bull in near future because the number of tourists who wants to touch this bull and get some selfies..🤪
Samara Drewe
How much fun!! I didn’t even realize what was going on with the crowd of people when I was walking around the financial district. As a tourist, this hidden little gem is good for some hilarious photo ops. I mean, when else can you say you literally grabbed a bull by the balls?
Justin Stanley
Easy to find but there were so many people and would've had to wait atleast 10 minutes for a picture that would've still been obstructed by the crowd surrounding it.
Dayanand Gavas
Long separate lines for picture of the bull at the front and back of the bull.. but they move quick.. went on Friday noon.
Bill Machhour
Its a nice structure in between the NY stock exchange and Battery park, watch out there is a lot of people and 2 waiting lines for the bull head and his balls! I know his balls gets a line too!
Heather BR
Watch the cobblestone that surrounds the bull. It can be hard on your feet, especially if you aren't in comfy shoes. Pretty neat sculpture and definitely need to get a photo with it or of it while visiting NYC.
Crystal Colleen
There is a long line to get a good picture, but it’s worth checking off your “Must See in NYC” list. :)
Mau Mau
The iconic statue of the Charging Bull, usually swarmed by tourists. It is located in the middle of a small triangular place, with car traffic on two sides. The statue which is made of bronze is a "symbol of aggressive financial optimism and prosperity, leaning back on its haunches and with its head lowered as if ready to charge". If you are in the neighborhood have a look at it.
Derrick Davis
This Charging Bull is a very nice display. This is a major tourist spot. You will have a wait to take photos, so be patient.
diana marceta
The statue is beautiful and beautifully preserved. Located in the Wall Street area. It is almost impossible to take a picture of the statue itself. Always a lot of people around it. Many times you have to stand in line to take a picture.
Claudio Santori
One of the most crowded spot in New York. The charging bull was moved here from
Wall Street. Try to get here very early or late in the day. Otherwise get ready for a long queue and just one second for a quick shot before the next persone pushes you away :)
Apparently it brings good luck to touch the testicles of the bulls. I wouldn’t bet my money on it.
Moin Modasiya
The sculpture was created by Italian artist Arturo Di Modica in the wake of the 1987 Black Monday stock market crash. On December 14, 1989, Di Modica arrived on Wall Street with Charging Bull on the back of a truck and illegally dropped the sculpture outside of the New York Stock Exchange Building. After being removed by the New York City Police Department later that day, Charging Bull was installed at Bowling Green a week later. Despite initially having only a temporary permit to be located at Bowling Green, Charging Bull became a popular tourist attraction.
John Jairo Garcia Quigua
It is amazing to go there for these times and take a pic just you and the bull... 💪 …
Anubhav Srivastava
Charging bull stands in bowling green. It is a bronze sculpture that sees a lot of crowd around itself. It has recently been accompanied by another sculture of fearless girl facing charging bull. It is a great place for photo op. Surrounded by tall buildings, a small area wherr they stand. You have to wait for your turn as it is crowded mostly but people visiting are courteous and don't create rackus unnecessarily.
Kristina Crane
Cool statue, but placed in the middle of busy roads. You need to schedule time to come, there were lines both of the times we came by.
Gene Rabinovich
Usually, a popular tourist destination, this iconic bronze sculpture located at the northern-most tip of the Bowling Green park in downtown Manhattan stood virtually deserted at the height of the pandemic in May 2020 when I took this photo. Everyone who ever visited Wall Street felt obliged to snap a photo of this unofficial symbol of the Financial District since 1989.
Lou Cap
The Charging Bull signifies the strength needed to maintain a robust economy. Bulls make money, Bears make money. Pigs get slaughted. Enjoy your visit in the Wall Street area of Downtown Manhattan. It is an area steeped in American History. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 …
Erik Arroyo
Great to see a lot of ppl there 😁 …
Bianca Courtney
Very cool statue, worth going to see. Only not along with all the other tourists. I was there at 6:15am and was the only person. Had some great photo opps.
FIN K
Just a bull. People visiting here generally are openminded so brief but nice time.
V. S.
You would assume the charging bull is in front of NYSE (New York Stock Exchange), since you see the bull on the news. It's actually blocks away. There's a line for a photo right next to the bull. If it means something to you, then this is a must!
Ember
Worth the wait for a photo even on a cold day!
Aadil Mumtaz
Great statue not so great line for photos. Make sure to come early on a weekday if you want get a quick photo
Diandra Ulloa
The sculpture is impressive but there were too many people. Super crowded. It was our first time visiting New York but we weren’t willing to wait in that ridiculously long line. I just took a picture from afar. 😂 …
Alfredo Salazar
One of the most iconic statues of Wall Street and NYC. There is a tradition / legend that if you touch Bull’s balls you will return to the city, if you are not superstitious the shot will be fun as well!
D
Great to visit around 9pm. Much better for photos
Edwina TAN
I've been there a few days ago, there was a long line of tourists waiting for a picture. The statue is massive but not worth the wait. If you go there, you can at least you saw the iconic bull.
Sands MenLuc
COol Bull. Lots of people taking pictures. Cool photo op
Ricky Moorehead
Something to see if your in the area taking in all the sites of NYC. Very busy place with light traffic that can come on both sides of the bull. Be careful!
Ronil Chand
There is a line that you'll have to wait in but it felt pretty good to give the famous bull my support ☺️
Alejandro Jiménez
Amazing bull 5here
Ashley Hanson
Hoards of people surrounding. Not very clean. Tourists are very rude and pushy. No one around to manage crowd nearby. Iconic but a headache.
Gino Dim
Very symbolic of wall street and the NYSE. Usually really crouded so there might be a bit of a wait. If you are a large group, I recommend that you split up and secure spots in both of the lines. Don't forget to rub for luck lol.
YEK
There are no tourists because of the COVID19. It was leisure. 🙄
This is a famous and meaningful place. …
Alex Dowlen
The charging bull is great to see at night when there are fewer tourists. The area has become a lot more crowded now that the little girl statue is there. But she brings a lot of charisma to the area. :)
Mike Montgomery
Glad we stoped by. Busy Area
Prateek Kanojiya
There was a long line to take photo with the bull and it was too crowded to be on centre of a road. But the view from centre was beautiful and worth your time.
Rodrigo Gonzalez
The Charging Bull. It’s a massive statue of a bull near wall street. It’s overcrowded with tourists struggling to take a nice picture. Maybe going there early in the morning would help you to get the picture you want.
Yasmin L
Had fun taking pictures with the charging bull!
Rahul Gupta
Awesome...infront of bowling green park and wall street...lot of crowd waiting to take pictures
Leo rockz
It was absolutely a great experience! I honestly recommend to visit the bull 🐂 …
Hariswaroop
A great statue in the NY city. This sculpture is one of the popular tourist destinations. It is also described as "one of the iconic images of NY city" as well as a "Wall Street Icon".
Darnell Caple
Always want to visit this place. I really enjoyed taking my photo with the bull. It was very easy to locate off of MTA transit.
Rajani Karoti
Satire, good photo spot, but there is too much waiting
Tork Mackenzie
The iconic staue at the bottom of Broadway is incredibly popular with visitors and we planned to go early in the morning but even at 9am there were a few hardy souls around what is a very large figure of the bull and the tiny girl . Worth a detour from Wall Street but be prepared to wait for a pic alone with the Toro.
Joey Gibson
It's the famous Wall Street bull statue. Be prepared to wait in line to get your photo with it. There were actually more people waiting to take a picture with the back of the bull than the front
Gilana A
Just a bull....
Avi kor's review is correct. People stand in 2 queues to touch balls for getting rich and take photos in front of the bull.
Caroline Dudley
Iconic as expected. Arturo Di Modica’s installation is cool to read about as well!
Mees van der Weerd
there was a big queue just to touch his balls! they felt amazing tho
Claudine Deshaies
Five Stars for the Bull and the Fearless Girl. Zero stars for the fact that you can't see it because inconsiderate tourists swarm it instead of taking turns. Stood there while one family had their little girl on it's head for 10 minutes.
Try to go at some kind of early hour, I suppose.
Jenna Squires
All everyone wants to do is stand in line so they can get a picture with their hands on the bull's balls, so that's kind of boring.
Vlad I
An iconic tourist attraction
Lyle Fass
This is the best statue of a charging bull I have ever seen.
Ahmad Kadi
The iconic Bull of Wall Street🐂 …
Lucas
This is a very iconic piece of New Yorks financial history! Very coop to see in person. Beware: It is kind of a tourist trap and you have to sometimes wait in a pretty long line to even get a picture with it!
Corina McNeil
I loved seeing the sites of NYC I just wish I would have know that there was a line to take pictures of EVERYTHING. LOL
Jun-Hee Han
It was unique but there was quite a line and it was also unorganized. But I’d go again when it’s not raining
Chris Weng
Cool place, really crowded while I visited.
John Cerbone
A beautiful statue, lots of tourists climbing in top of it. Difficult to take a picture of it without interference.
Mounica B
Best time to visit this place is at Night. Less rush and can get good pictures too!
Rajesh Kaushik
People visit this cause is iconic, the sad part is people try to climb on it and what not just to take pictures.
Naseer Faheem
Worths a visit. Go early so you can have it to yourself
Alex Salvarrey
Nice Ivón disappointed with the fact you have to line up to take a pic. And the girl is missing
Alon Grinshpoon
This place is a classic NYC staple! 🗽 The Charging Bull 🐂 is a must visit for anyone touring around Wall Street. No wonder it was featured in so many movies 🎬 and TV shows 📺! Make sure to take a selfie 🤳 and walk around the financial district. 💱 I wish I came here more often! …
Nicole Mizzi
Interesting to see. Bit of a line up to get a photo with the bull if you want a photo but not really needed in my opinion.
David Escandón
It’s a beautiful sculpture but it may be a little too crowded. You may have to make a line to take a picture.
John Shea
If you are in the Wall Street area, you should stop and see this iconic symbol. You may have to wait in line for 10 to15 minutes though. The line for the front and back are usually equally long. You choose, do you want to grab the Bull by the horns or do you want to grab the Bull by the balls?
Corey Plunkett
Lol lots of fun with the kids teaching them about the bull and financial district.and why a bull is there. We had a good walk from the water terminal and seen several sites along the way. We seen the trinity church also. Wear tennis shoes cause my flip flops made my feet sore.
Rafael Yau
The bull statue is super popular with tourist and photo taking. The fearless girl statue has been super popular with everyone.
Ji Young Kang
If you want you to take photo alone~ it would be better go there early in the morning.
I' ve been there 10 am.
Photo...We don't know each other.^^
Jack Russo
Its Great
Robert Beare
What's to say... It's the iconic bull.
This was the only place where I ran into a line to wait. The funny thing while I was waiting is the line in front of him, ladies. The guys were lined up in back. Definitely can get some fun pics here.
S
This would have been great if they didn't have a fence around it.
Lance So
Always have a long wait for photo, even it is late at night or raining. The Wall Street Bull that on the news when it is a bully market.
Somehow, I do not understand why someone will be interest to take photo from the back.
Franki King
The staple of Wall Street and the ideals of America charging spirit. It’s a tourist photo opt so there might be long lines. If you don’t have the patience advice getting there early if feasible. Located near the Native American Indian museum and the Vietnam vet Memorial.
Damian Rodrigo Olivera Bergallo
Another city icon. Try to visit it earlier in the morning I late in the night as they are always Lot of people trying to take a picture with the bull. It’s been said that you should touch it balls to have a good financial future and also grab the bulls horns for good luck. Don’t forget to take pictures!
Sebrin de Jesús Torres
Iconic place in Manhattan but very crowded, there were two lines to touch the bull
Amit Pandey
The queue for taking pictures of the bull from back is longer than the queue for the front... How funny!!! 😃... People find creative ways to take the pictures... I'm sure the maker of the statue would not have thought far 😂. …
Al Bane
Very popular tourist destination. This art work made by Arturo Di Modica is a real masterpiece. Be ready for a long line of tourist waiting their turn to take photos with the bull.
Viraj Lele
The place is crowded. Better to visit early to avoid long queues
Vijay Venkat Sama
Crowded at any time of the day. It was funny to see people getting in to a second line to get pictures with rear of the bull
Erik
Awesome place just go early in the morning so you can avoid long line of people.
yjjs jjs
If you visit the place early(before 9am), it’s possible to see the bull very comfortable without noisy tourist groups
thebsimmons
Cool spot wish it was still in original location. Very crowded and hard get a nice photo.
christian rollinson
Stunning sculpture, sadly the fearless girl sculpture that was opposite has now been relocated. Amusing that this had been there for 20yrs yet the day before I visit it somone attacks it with a banjo whilst denouncing it as the devil lol, luckily the damage is barely visible!)
Michelle Burns
Not sure why people line up just to get their photo taken with the bull..
Dean
I love wall st and the markets. It was a treat spending a day around old school Wall st.
Jacob Vandenburg
For some reason it was covered up with a tarp but it was still cool to by there and see it even if it was covered up.
tanya s.
Not the best neighborhood and not safe. But it is good to see the streets and go to see the statue of liberty from away. I liked the walk tour around so i would recommend to visit.
Paul Rivera
Eccentric tourist attraction where you'll meet so many beautiful people, cultures, languages and experiences in community around sharing. Best time is a warm night, with a warm love to create warm memories.
Alexy Frangieh
a good place to reflect on how greed has shaped our civilization
Angie Parker
Great place to visit, and represent wall street!! There was a line to take pictures under the bull, but we just rubbed it for good luck, and snapped a few picks from the side! Definatly worth a visit while in NYC!
Rosalía M.A.
It was a place that I didn’t remember when I planned my trip and it was worth it. The statue is enormous and it really seems that the bull is a real one and the fury is in it’s eyes. If you come to New York and walk through Wall Street is a must to stop by!!
Marc Lewis
It was freezing but everyone had fun getting their picture. Cool to touch a little bit of history.
Petri W
Cool bull! A lot if people wanting to touch his balls!
They were all shiny.
A lot of people. Hard to get a shot with the bull. Thought there was a bear there to but there was a girl instead.
PHresh Box
Pretty neat sight to take pics if you are a tourist. There is a little line but not a long wait
Alice Inusa
Way to many people to stay in line for a perfect photo 😂 …
Deb bhattacharya
People line up to take photos with the bull! It's a financial symbol of the wall street
R
An iconic place to visit and get a photo with the famous bull. Expect lines and be careful crossing the street.
It’s free :)
Saul Goodman
Brings luck to the person who touches its…
Shahzad
Its oke. Not too big but definitly not small.
Just in case you think you will be getting the perfect picture without anyone interupting.
FORGET IT! Look at my the picture i posted. The crowd you see is not during the busiest hour!
HS Oh
Night and light Bural of the Bull.
Sri Neelawathura
Very popular place among all New York tourists. If you are travelling by Metro get down at Bowling green station. Surrounded by good cheaper restaurants including a subway.
Marcos Cruz
Line was nice and tame this time of year. Good spot to get a picture. Picture taken from across the street.
Rupalee Maheshwari
We went there but there was a huge line to take pics. I thoroughly found it overrated considering that you are in NY city and you have plenty of better places to take pics. We took the pic but a little sideways. Didn't bother to take it right on front of the bull where I would have wasted 3 to 4 of my precious hours
Janet Gentles
Very busy but quite a sight! Need to visit in you are in Wall Street 😁 …
Dominic Dornan
Tooooo much peoples waiting to take a picture…
Thâmara Reis
Pretty cool but the line to see it was deadly. And there was so much people around it that you could barely see the sculpture itself.
Mark
A must see. Usually really busy but a good vibe from everyone. Don't expect to get a clear photo unless you are there very early or very late.
Ram Kumar
The Charging Bull or The Wall Street Bull is a 7,100-pound bronze sculpture that can be seen at the Bowling Green in the Financial District in Manhattan. This is another tourist attraction. It's really difficult for photographers to get some pictures without anyone in the background. It's probably best to visit this spot as early as possible to avoid the crowd. The Fearless Girl is no longer next to the bull. She has been relocated to stand opposite the New York Stock Exchange.
Paul Monson
If you’re someone that’s into investing or just a lover of the arts, the bull is a must visit. It was really cool walking down Wall Street and then seeing the iconic statue.
There are two separate lines for pictures when you get there. The first is for a picture with the front of the bull and the other is for the… back… the lines were each about 30 minutes long. When it’s sunny, the statue is roasting hot. So, if you’re going to hop on the bull for a picture, you’ve been warned!
Pat Tvl
It attracts a lot of visitors, so you gotta have to take turns for pictures but it's definitely worth it.
Adrian White
So many people surrounding the bull. I wish it wasn't in the middle of the street and at a larger location to support more people around it.
M. S.
Must see when you are visiting the financial district. Don‘t sit on it - cops won‘t like it 😄 …
Sanghamitra Gupta
This is a place to see where people are marked with enthusiasm to click a pic with the bull especially the rear one. I just fail to understand why.
SQQQ Value Investor
Sit down bull, your time is up.
Quinten Goovaerts
During daytime there are a lot of tourist, but if you to at night the statue is completely abandoned so you can get some good pictures!
Le Thuy Anh
Nice to walk down Wall Street and take photo with the charging bull. People believe that touching his balls can bring you luck and prosperity. Just try and wait for luck
Vicken Karaoghlanian
The iconic bull of wall street, another must-see attraction but very tricky to have a picture with, VERY crowded. It appears that people who can't take pictures in front of the bull find it amusing to pose at the back next to his balls.
C Baldwin
Great monument in the city, I grew up in NY but since moving I enjoy visiting cool places .. this monument featured a young girl statue in honor of women's month, very nice!!
Wildwood Video Archive
Listen people, it's a New York City landmark. Don't be angry if it takes you a half an hour to take a photo. Overall the charging bull always makes for a great photo
Nishant Srivastava

Nice statue but it is way too crowded to make a normal picture without people on it. Still funny to see.
Erik Lowe
Great iconic figure, just to dang crowded. Long lines to take a picture.
Kubilay Akaslan
He was as hungry as he was angry.
Jehuda Ish-Shalom
Impressive, especially with 1,500 skate board rides arriving to it after going down Broadway Boom from 116th Street. See pictures.
Matthew Sugarman
It was weird, there are people just crawling all over it. It looked like a sculpture in a park
Jason Budiarto
It is just a statue but you havent been to NYC if you didnt take a photo with it. Dont forget to make a special pose with it 😉😉 it will be challenging since there are many people there …
Damanpreet Singh
Good vibes.
There were lots of Tourists even at 8:00 am in the morning.
But still, I would say it's worth it.
Diamela Atencio Villalobos

Andreas Klein
Good place if you wanna watch big tour groups waiting in line to touch the balls of charging bull ;)
Arthur Cruz
Long line, but it only took us 20 mins.
Brenda
Located in the financial district in Lower Manhattan, the Charging Bull has surprisingly become one of the biggest attractions in New York! Some believe if they touch it, they will be blessed with financial good luck. So, the line to take pictures with the bull is very long and takes forever. We decided we didn't want to waste an hour and a half to 2 hours doing this so, we got out of line and just took a couple of pictures on the side. No, we didn't get to climb up on it or touch it, but I think we will survive.
Prateek Srivastava
This bull is of international fame... There are two queues to get your photographs... One for the front side of bull and other for back side!!! It's took around 30 min of wait to get our photographs. There is National Museum of the American Indian nearby so you can visit that too.
Liliana
Long line to wait in order to take a photo. Better to reserve around one hour for this attraction.
Ken and Alicia Lund
It is a statue of a bull, but it is an iconic statue guarding the financial district, so it is a must see attraction. The line to get photographed with the bull is often long.
Cortney JB
I stopped by a few times and it was always crowded with tourists, no matter the time. Even early in the morning. Still an iconic site and worth walking by!
Sarah Caldwell
It was the weekend before Christmas so there were so many people around the bull I couldn't get a picture of the bull without tons of other tourists in my shot
Mehmet Rezan Altinkaynak
An iconic statue. There are 2 types of people those who taking pictures with the bull- and those who taking pictures with the balls.
Patricia Grego
The charging bull represents the financial district
John Kay
The bull is moved from the original spot.
People in the line for touching the bull were more interesting, rather than the bull itself.
Paola Vilchis
Its a must of you visit NY, jfyi the ice cream crossing the Street is at least $10 each
Kevin Stanford
Everybody comes to touch his balls. Nice little park nearby
Taher Kagalwala
Such a perfect sculpture on Wall St! There was a long queue to be able to take photos.
salwa khattab
It's right on the street, no entry fees, no opening/closing timing...
There is a line to take pictures, there are gift shops on either side of the road, there is a small park nearby.
The nearest subway station is bowling green.
Vijayanand Vasudevan
What can you say but a nice charging bull.
verset serieux
It's really crowded, you have to spend good time before you get a picture here.
C Turner (Jr.)
Been there done that a hundred times ✅. But it’s still one of my favorite place to take guests that are visiting NYC. Everyone should check it out….you may run into a movie or show being filmed.
Matt Cahill
Pretty much as expected. Don’t get your hopes up to get a picture with the Bull without a few dozen other people in your photo. Very high traffic area. Wall Street is an experience, but if other tourists photobombing your shots aren’t your thing, I’d spend your time elsewhere.
Diana Lopez
Loved that there were no people around.
Ramon Echavarria
Charging Bull is always an amazing statue. Born is NY and I still visit it Everytime is swing by the area. They even added on the Fearless Girl statue even though I think it might be temporary
Muneer Khan
Charging Bull is a popular tourist destination that draws thousands of people a day, symbolizing Wall Street and the Financial District. The sculpture was created by Italian artist Arturo Di Modica in the wake of the 1987 Black Monday stock market crash.
The Charging Bull (also referred to as the Wall Street Bull) is a massive 7,100-pound bronze sculpture located in the Financial District in New York City. At 11 feet tall and 16 feet long, the aggressive bull is an unmistakable tribute to power and prosperity.
An iconic landmark that has long symbolized the most well-known and powerful stock exchange market in the world. It's rumoured that touching its 'jewels' will bring you wealth or back to New York!
A trip to New York isn't complete without visiting the Charging Bull. It's just a short stroll from the NYSE but you need to seek it out as it's not in the most obvious spot.
Abdullah Paracha
Charging Bull, sometimes referred to as the Bull of Wall Street or the Bowling Green Bull, is a bronze sculpture that stands on Broadway just north of Bowling Green in the Financial District of Manhattan in New York City
Hair Tutorials Lowe
Fabulous! With many people have long a little touch for luck. If you are visiting Wall Street or heading for the 9/11 memorial then you have to have a little rub of the lucky charging bull!!
ililiiil
Heard that bull means rising market while a bear means decline. It was meaningful but here was sooo crowded to see. I forgave to take a picture with it
EL dodo Maldito
This place is cool really cool, but if you want unlimited one on one time with the bull, come at night, in the day sometimes it's so crowded there is a line of ppl here, and they dont respect the line either.
Billy Morris
It's a bull, not much more you can say. Good photo opportunity though.
Mark Wyssbrod
Cool! Especially If You Are Bullish ;)
Ashley Portales
You have to see the charging bull Statue when visiting NYC. There is always a crowd so either go super early or be prepared to wait
diego vazquez
Nice sculpture and very nice place a lot of history and beutiful building, to take a selfie with the bull you have to make a line depending on the day,
Fadzillah Amri
Amazing piece of art. A lot of people almost all the time.
Corinne Greco
With the girl now staring down the bull this statue got so much cooler! Small space. Not super crowded if you go early enough.
Samuel Bird
What a special symbol of western culture. It is easily accessible and lines were short.
Samuel Borja
Easy and quick one to check off the list for those visiting…
Ivy Chan
Super busy and a super touristy spot. Worth the look if you are in the area.
Anastasia Skobelnikova
There is a lot of tourists during the day but if is still possible to make a nice photo.
Julian Schwarz
Nice to see, but not really impressive. You literally cue up for a picture and that's it.
Sumit Agarwal
A historical place beside the wall Street. Must visit if you are in NYC
林芳存
It is too hard to take a picture without people around it….
Yana
Be prepared to stand in line if you want to take a picture with the bull!
BHAR
Request people not to jump on the bull..... you will have to wait in line for around 15-20 mins to take pictures
Tim O'Sullivan
Very impressive piece of street art right in the middle of the financial district.
To get 'the picture' you may have to wait as it gets very busy here.
SD dunu
This place is packed with tourist and visitors from all over the world. I went to see the new high light to the charging bull,Fearless girl.
Rohit Pandit
Best place to visit especially for a finance person. Too much history and stories will hit you.
Isabella Villanueva
Iconic, lots of people taking pics so be prepared for a lot of tourist getting in your way. Other than that everything is a must see here.
Tomer Menachem Yaacoby
The famous bull statue. All the well known postmodern info is not worth mentioning. Don't get the hype. The picture I took reflect my thoughts.
Manu M.
Just a statue of bull. But a place to visit because of its fame.
