Went here for a physical and a drug test for work. Everyone was very friendly, I didn't have to wait long, and the entire experience was pleasant. I will say, though, if you need a drug test, do not go here. As I said, they were very friendly, but they warned me it could take a while to get the results from their lab in Missouri, and as of writing this review, it's been nearly six weeks and I have still not gotten the results yet. Ended up having to go somewhere else and paying for another test.

The people were really friendly and professional. I didn’t like that I had to check this box that apparently gives a doctor my consent to be immunized or vaccinated with whatever they deem necessary in order to get this drug test. Not sure why checking that box was required at all. Also I felt that there could have been more information provided prior to the drug test on what sort of test was taking place (ie; blood test, urine sample, hair clipping). I had used the restroom before entering and thus could not produce the amount of urine they required. I basically had to stay another hour, drinking water non-stop, so I could urinate enough for the test. I am glad they had a good water filtration system!

Best experience with Concentra I ever had. Staff was friendly yet very professional and the wait timeframes and staff was quick. You can tell they value their clients time, unlike other locations. Not sure who manages the Baronne Street facility location but whoever does, both them and their quick efficent staff need a raise for great service.

Front desk and Nursing staff is very friendly and professional. They do their best to accommodate wait times, which I am sure is beyond their control. I’ve been to Concentras throughout the U.S and this one is by far the cleanest and most organized. Thank you

Not every Visitor/Patient will walk through that door with a cellphone in their hands. Encourage Patients to have their cell with them, the process in my case is that you required it. After signing in as requested (after I’ve waited), you asked me to have a seat. No sooner had I taken a seat, you called me to the counter. What makes this almost laughable is that as a 70 year old man, it is not that easy to sit down and even worse getting up. Please concentrate on one Patient at a time. HIPPA should enter your thoughts. Think, if you were the Patient, how would you want to be spoken to and can you control your tone and the volume in which you speak? Time, mine is valuable. Once again ask yourself can I make the Patient and the process smooth for the Patient? What can I do for the Patient, get them seen and onto better health ASAP?

Front in staff was not very professional nor friendly. Not that I’ve been to a central lockup but felt as I was incarcerated. Back end staff was excellent, demeanor was totally opposite they could teach the front how to do CS. Would not recommend base on how they treated two customer ahead of me and the coldness I felt.

I love this location, the staff was very friendly even though I walked in 15 mins before closing ( it really couldn’t be helped had to leave for travel assignment next morning and company sent it late) but I was in and out in under 20 mins. Parking was not bad either! Easy 5 stars well deserved!!

Courteous staff. A bit slow with the callback. Was told I would have to come back twice, once because they don't give TB text on thursday, so I will have to make a total of 3 trips to complete the test I need for work. That's a total of 6 driving hours and 3 parking garage fees.

Location was easy to find. The good thing is they let you know ahead of time it may be a 4 hour wait for all your testing, so you're not in a rush after you sign in. Parking is validated in 2 garages. Staff was very personable, except for one. She skipped someone ahead of a few patients and thought we wouldn't notice. The nurse immediately corrected the situation and apologized. Other than that it was a pleasurable experience for this travel nurse to drug and tb skin test!

When I needed to get a UA and TB test for a new job while on vacation in New Orleans I was expecting to be given a hard time by the staff. What I experienced instead was an impressively efficient operation; every staff member that I interacted with was helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. My visit took about 2 hours but I went in the middle of the day and there was a waiting room full of people so I could tell they were extremely busy. Get there at 8 am if you know that you’re the kind of person who doesn’t like to wait.

From the moment, I called at 8 am to schedule a walk -in appointment until I arrived and left (in under an hour), they provided a warm greeting and assisted me immediately. Being in a digital age and traveling, I did not have the physical documents but they were able to provide me with a direct email that helped expedite the process. They were informative and polite with not just me but with every guest there. It was if they knew me from the very start. From a professional setting, it was clean and well kept. I felt comfortable and confident with the staff and their experience.

I waited about 45 minutes to take a urine drug test that took about 10 minutes to complete. Front desk employee very nice but the lady administering the test was not friendly at all. I had a question about medication I was prescribed and if they needed that for drug test. She stated rudely to just answer my phone if there's any questions they will call. This is very serious for people trying to get employment, they should be more helpful.

My experience at Concentra Urgent Care was great! I went there for a pre-employment drug screening on a Tuesday morning. The staff was friendly and efficient with getting me checked in. I arrived to the facility 10 minutes before they opened to help reduce my wait time (I read a lot of previous reviews about extensive wait times of 2+ hours). I was the first one in the door at 8am and was in and out of the facility within 20 minutes. The drug screen results were back within 48 hours. Very smooth and efficient process!

I am a Concentra locums provider. I went to this Concentra to complete a pre-work drug and alcohol screen for a different assignment. Front desk staff did not make eye contact or provide any anticipatory guidance as to the process or the duration of time anticipated. Backstaff called my name from behind a wall and a closed door. Once I was in the back the process was very efficient but no one thru my visit made any effort to make eye contact or treat me as a person of any value. No even returned a smile. It doesn’t matter how busy we are, we have to make the small efforts that means so much.

As nice as the front desk staff are and as good as the physician on staff is, the wait time is beyond unacceptable. We showed up here on a weekday morning in hopes to get my partner evaluated for a respiratory bug. It took 30 minutes to get paperwork and insurance processed, another 30 minutes to be seen by a nurse for vital signs and a swab. Finally, we were told that it would be a 3 hour wait to see the doctor. 5 hours later from the time we arrived, and still no signs of the doctor. All we needed was an evaluation and a script filled. We checked in with one of the nurses after 5 hours and learned that the doctor on staff had to stitch up a child. Would have been great to know that ahead of time instead of waiting in an exam room for 2 hours. But the good news is that he is a fantastic practitioner and did all the appropriate checks thoroughly. Service is 100%. However, if you truly need urgent care, this is not the place to go.

Visited Concentra in downtown New Orleans for a pre-employment medical exam/drug screen. No appointments required, simply walked in and filled out paperwork. Front desk rep explains what paperwork needs to be filled out very clearly. The nurses and the doctors are extremely professional and carry out all the required tests with utmost professionalism and are very helpful with everything. They also keep a smile on all the time. Overall a very nice atmosphere there and very smooth experience!

The service was very slow. Took the receptionists 45 minutes to put in the insurance information and in the meantime, they didn’t put my chart into the line of clients. Took an hour to get my lab drawn and then another hour to see a doctor. I was given my prescription in a timely manner even though the doctor had already written the script. I was there for 4 hours.

There was an hour and a half wait for a routine urinalysis but they were upfront about that. The waiting room was packed with regular walk in patients so my screening was not a top prority. The staff was professional and friendly and never flustered. Once I was called the process was over in 5 minutes

I received my TB here. I called ahead to ask about the wait time and explained I only needed the test. I was assured I wouldnt be there long. It ended up being an hour and a half before getting out. Some really pleasant people, some pretty sour. Your typical urgent care environment.

Only reason I went with a 4 instead of a 5 was because I thought she prescribed an expectorant for my cough but it was actually a cough suppressant. Didn't have to wait too terribly long. Medical assistant was thorough and pleasant. Physician (Dr. Purdy), likewise, and quickly arrived at her diagnosis. Prescriptions were soon working, and I got the sleep that I needed. I was so impressed by their care for me that my wife is currently in their waiting room, and when our own physicians are not immediately available, it's nice too know that we do not have to compromise on excellence.

I arrived to have medical test performed as a condition of employment. And this center like others, has lots of foot traffic. To be noted, it’s in the heart of Downtown NOLA & parking is a chore. This is the ONLY reason I was reluctant to select this facility, but it was also THE REASON I selected it. The staff members were courteous & friendly. Although their attention was elsewhere this day as there was some “tech issue”; understandably so, as a result, wait times were longer than normal (I’ve always wanted to say that as I hear it on the phone line when I call places...lol). The manager-type lady began processing me about 20 minutes after being there. I say manager-type because she seemed to be putting out all the fires on the morning I arrived. Anywho, once she started, I was called to the back about 5-7 minutes later. A very nice lady with BEAUTIFUL LASHES, took me to the back to process me. Her methods were smooth, professionally & painless; I didn’t realize she had stuck me til I looked at the blood filling the tube. Once she did finished, ba-da-boom, ba-da-bing... I was outta there. I’d choose to return to this facility as it’s close to my current place of employment. Processing was swift and I was handled in a very courteous & profession manner.

I took a early break to take my drug test for a over night job ....one lady asked me to sign in the lady said no i’ll Take her they were very nice people I was in and out not even a good 30 minutes the only reason why I’m giving them 4 stars and not 5 is because I took the drug test on the 30th that morning it’s 4 days later and the job never received my results so with that being said some where something not being done.....but then the results not making it to the employee in the correct matter of time my visit it self was wonderful
