Our guide Emily was great as well as the entire staff ! We had a family group of 8 and they were so nice to each of us ! Gold Rush was so much fun and challenging! We escaped and had a blast working together to make it happen! We highly recommend! Thanks for the memories!

My daughter (17) and I played the Gold Rush escape room and had a blast! We both agreed that it was the best escape room experience we’d ever had. The puzzles were fun and varied and the surprises were delightful! Destiny was our guide and she was wonderful! In fact the whole staff was friendly and helpful. We both were so impressed with the whole experience. Fun from beginning to end!

We did the Gold Rush. It was so fun! Honestly, the best escape room experience I've ever had. The folks there are super helpful and nice. It was very easy to get reserved spots. Gold Rush was awesome, like really well done with how to figure your way out. I want to do it again! And see what the other rooms are like. I would highly recommend going if you're up for a blast!!

Went for a special occasion to play Special Ops: Mysterious Market. Played with another group, and we had tons of fun! Lots of things to explore, find, and do, in a way where everyone will be involved in some way. Scenario and set dressing was also very well designed and maintained. I will say though, if you do decide to play this one, be mindful of the player count! It felt just a teeny tiny tad cramped with the 5 of us, but it was still maneuverable. 6-8 would probably be pushing it in my opinion, so be prepared to bump elbows with people if you have a larger group. Staff were also extremely friendly and helpful - Eric, Alex, Emma, Tyler, and everyone else there deserves a kudos! Will definitely be back to play the rest of the games (and collect all the pins!).

Great fun! Fun puzzles and awesome staff. Christian and Destiny were awesome! The themed rooms were well decorated. I looked how different sabotage was from a traditional escape room. And the storyline for special ops kept you on your toes. Higher tech puzzles really helped to immerse you into the story.

My friends and I did Special Ops on 12-7-22, had an ABSOLUTE BLAST, and Eric was an AWESOME host and game guide! We'll definitely be headed back for more games soon!!! Update 12-19-2022; my friend and I did not one, but TWO games in the same day; we did Special Ops again to try to get a faster completion time, and then we did Gold Rush to try out a new game. Eric recognized us IMMEDIATELY as soon as we said hey, and he was still just as AWESOME as the first time we met him!!! Miss Peyton is clearly going to be a WONDERFUL addition to their team and we can't wait to go back and say hey to her as well!!! Also as we were chatting before our first game, I did mention that we were back to play another game as a birthday celebration, and every one of them all wished me a happy late birthday (it was yesterday 12-18) and once my friend and I escaped Special Ops Eric and Peyton surprised me with a birthday card from the entire team which was just SO DANG SWEET!!!! If you're looking for a great place to go play escape games, I ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this location. Eric and his team are just THE FREAKING COOLEST and have SO MUCH FUN!!!! Like if I could, I'd leave them another 5 star review, but Googles's terms won't let me leave one, so I'm making do with being able to edit my first review. Seriously, go run the games at this location cause Eric and his team are ABSOLUTELY AWESOME PEOPLE!!!!!

I’ve done many escape rooms and this absolutely blew my mind! So amazing and well done. Our game master Dakota was soooo kind and helpful and added so much to our experience. Carson in the front was also great and helped us sign up for another escape room for tomorrow. Cannot recommend this enough!

We came for our senior class trip with about 12 and Trent and Emily did a great job! They were so kind and made the experience so much fun! They even sent us home with Escape Game shirts. Games were tricky, and well thought out. HIGHLY recommend!

I always have a great time at The Escape Game. After playing about 8 different time, I can say: Their rooms are deeply immersive, the stories are compelling, and the puzzles are intellectually stimulating! One thing I can always count on are the beyond friendly employees who know their product well. They sincerely care about our experience from beginning to end. Today my group had the pleasure of being served by Zach and Chad. Zach made us feel very welcome, and made our sign-in process a breeze. Chad, our Game Master, did a great job explaining the more complicated game mode "sabotage". He did a wonderful job keeping us straight that we would have the best experience. All in all, from the craftsmanship, to the staff, I highly recommend The Escape Game.

Eric and Harlie were the absolute people there. Super kind! i’m always the one to ask questions about everything and before going into the game Harlie answered all of them! My group was paying separately and she took the time to make sure everything was right and everyone had the correct money back. My group did Gold Rush it was 7/10 difficulty and it was AMAZING for my group. In my group we had 13th year old, 16, 17, and 18 and it was absolutely wonderful for us. Not from Nashville but this definitely will make me come back!! Eric meet us at the door when we completed the game and was so kind to us; even let us get props from another room to take a picture

This was a mentally challenging experience which I really enjoyed. However, I don't know how I feel about us not being able to use our defense when being attacked. Our guide Destiny said we broke the computer. I guess that's a good thing but our three attacks went to waste. Still a fun experience and a smart move to play against the AI rather than each other.

Amazing bonding experience from our family of ages 10-adult. We did the Hold Rush and Special Ops. We'd do the third one (sabotage) if we had time. I LOVE the Escape Game, as does my whole family. I’ve played a few other escape rooms in other cities and nothing compares. I particularly like that nothing is scary in the rooms. It is not horror based. I’ve played some that are and I really appreciate that your games are family friendly. Timeliner is amazing and if you haven’t done it, do it! It would be a great first game. My other favorite is Gold Rush. That was our first ever and I highly recommend it. On the other hand, You should be aware that Sabotage in Opry Mills is more of a competition game. The goal is to get a higher score than the other team - not to get out of the room, (I think). It’s kind of confusing but I think if you went with a large group and could compete against your friends and if you really understood what the goal was you would have fun. My team was just confused when we played it. So if you are playing it, just be sure to ask questions in the beginning or it might be frustrating. All the other rooms are typical escape rooms where the goal is clearly to escape..and to have fun!!

Sabotage was so different, nothing like any escape room I’ve done yet because of the competitive aspect and the puzzle are tough but rewarding. Destiny was also a very nice game master, she ran a very good game. Definitely would recommend!

The room itself (Gold Rush) was very well done and filled with neat props and surprises. Theming is always top tier at The Escape Game. Lastly, Tyler was super helpful when we tried to book an additional game. Even thought it didn’t work out, he went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Myself and my two teenagers went to to the mall and then decided to play the escape game. While we were waiting on our time to play, we noticed that there were three other people that we’re joining us. Didn’t think anything about it because we were told that other people could join. We were playing the game and while we were in there, my kids just kind of stood back and sat it out because the other three people in there were kind of taking over, because they had played the game before. Once we came out of the game because we did escape, everybody parted ways but then Tyler came over to us and let us know that he recognized what happened in the game. They did recognize that it was dominated a little bit by others. Not in a bad way but he wanted us to have a great experience so they offered to let us come back complementary so we could enjoy it and actually get to play the game. I believe it was Tyler, Abby, and Brianna That had a conversation with me and let me know how they wanted everybody to enjoy their experiences and they wanted us to come back. That was awesome customer service that they did not have to do but because they saw it happening, they just took the initiative and made it happen so we will be returning customers. For that, we will definitely be back. They were awesome! You don’t find customer service like that anymore and I was honestly just going to leave and not say anything about it. I did not want to make a big deal about it but to have someone come to you, that noticed and approached you about it was fabulous.

We did the Sabotage game, which was super unique and different from any escape room we have done. Christian, our guide, was really awesome! He helped us through some kinks in the system and explained very well how the whole game works. It was cool to be playing against a team in this twist on the traditional escape game.

My boyfriend and I came to do one of the escape games here & our employee Jamie took us to the “Special Ops: Mysterious Market” room and apparently it’s one of the difficult rooms & we escaped with 4 minutes left on the clock!!! It was a bit stressful figuring out the patterns and clues, but as a team (along with 3 other people aside from my boyfriend and I) we solved the room! I really enjoyed this room. I would definitely come again.

I’ve done all 3 games at this location. Me and my parents had a blast during Special Ops; that we came back the following day for Gold Rush. Another great experience! I came back to Nashville with my best friend and we did Sabotage. We beat the AI 50-31. All the game crew are excellent and very helpful!

We came in this location after Berry Hills disaster (which is another location supposed to be open until 12 as well-like all others). Bennett, our game guide, also who is helping everyone to check in in the entrance, was amazing! He took his time and was very helpful! Christian the team leader was also fabulous. We called before we came from Berry Hills location since they decided to close before 10 pm. After having a dissatisfied first attempt experience. The team reached out to me to apologize and try to make it right. We returned to give it one more try. The staff was very welcoming when we first arrived. Walked us through everything to expect with very informative information. The game we played was Gold Rush. And man was it tough but super fun and kept us all on our toes with every clue. We made it through with 12 mins to spare and didn’t even need to ask for a clue. At the end the staff congratulated us and took a commemorative photo. I would say they definitely made up for the first time we attempted to play one of the games. I would go back in a heart beat to play with the star we had that night. Also very satisfied with the timely manner they guest service respond to my review, it was literally within the hour. Great customer service and hospitality.

extremely fun escape room experience. My son and I competed against two other young people in a head to head spy/espionage battle. We were given pretty straightforward instructions on what to do, and once the game started it was a lively and exciting 60 minutes competing against the other team. Ultimately we came out on top, and it was one of the most exhilarating experiences knowing you crushed someone in a puzzle game, with almost no instruction on how to solve the puzzles or what to do.

We were on vacation in TN and did Gold Rush, we were so blown away by the atmosphere and effort put into making the rooms an immersive experience that we can back the second night to do Special Ops. We joked about a discount and they offered one if we booked within the hour, so we did. Played Sabotage and loved it! So many times I've gone to escape rooms and they've just felt like a room with some numbers and clues, and I usually go just because my fiance is a big fan of them. But this company made me want to come back not once, but two times! Three days in a row! Would give 10/5 stars if possible. Even if you don't like escape rooms very much, you will LOVE these. A+ to the wonderful and engaged employees that made our experience one I'll never forget. Reviews for the specific themed escape rooms↓↓↓ Gold Rush: the atmosphere was incredible, it actually smelled like the forest! I loved the intricate and clever puzzles that weren't impossible to solve without clues. The design of the room(s) was insane, so much detail down to the smallest things that made it feel as real as possible. Puzzles and clues I've never heard of/seen before and concepts I would've never thought of. Special Ops: There was so much decor in this room(s) that I don't know where to start, absolutely incredible. You never got stuck on one clue because there was always something else to focus on and then come back to. Again, the atmosphere felt the realest I've ever seen. Sabotage: Great game for groups, we decided not to split up and to play against the AI, but I think that just worked best with our specific group of 4. Super exciting and on-edge themed. The layout of the room(s) was super tech-y and very futuristic, I never knew what was going to happen next! (in the best way). Definitely recommend for those who like being competitive against friends or family!

It was our family's 1st time to experience an escape room. We carefully researched our options. Based on reviews from others we chose this one. We swung by the location. Evan took us on a quick tour & allowed us to glance in each room as he gave descriptions of each one. We left and discussed that we would like to try the gold rush room. Upon our return, Christian took great care of us getting us signed up & checked in. Allowing us to be the only ones in our group. Therefore ensuring our teenagers would get to experience each puzzle & clue on their own without someone else joining our group & taking over. Evan was assigned to us & was great at helping us out with little clues along the way. We did escape! The rooms were awesome! Highly recommend! Played Sabotage with a group of four on our team, and a group of six on the opposing team. Enjoyed the concept, and the puzzles were an adequate level of difficulty, and can be solved with persistence. The only hitch was that our guide incorrectly told us that in order to defend our team against the opposing team's sabotage, we would hit "defend" and something would appear on the screen which we would have to defend against. In reality we should not have been looking at the screen, but instead under it for the puzzle we needed to solve to defend our team. We wasted our time waiting for the timer to go off, and the opposing team recieved 15 points off us. Had we be properly instructed about what happens during an attack and how to defend ourselves, we would have won by 3 points instead of losing by 12. After the game, the guide admitted she wasn't monitoring us closely enough to realize we hit the defend button, and were standing around waiting for something to happen while our time dwindled down. Overall, the game is a good time and worth playing, and the staff were friendly. But the fact that we tried so hard, and lost due to no fault of our own, but the inattention/poor explanation of our guide, left a slightly bad taste. I do recommend the game, but encourage you to ask any questions you need to to make crystal clear how to defend your team from attacks.

It's located at Opryland mall and there are plenty if security walking around in force. Also, on Friday and Saturday anyone younger that 18 must be accompanied by an adult. We went for my son’s 14th birthday as a family (group of 8), and had a blast! I had called ahead and let them know we were doing this as a birthday thing, and they said they would try to do a little something for his birthday in the game. I had no idea what they were planning! We went through the first part, and when we got to the last room, they had hung a Happy Birthday banner in the room, and had balloons all over! When we escaped, Sydney (our game guide) gave my son a special “I escaped on my birthday” sticker, and the staff working all signed a card for him. They went above and beyond what I had hoped for, and my boy was thrilled! We will definitely be back to escape again!!

Great time playing the Gold Rush puzzle. We definitely escaped with only a few minutes to spare bit we made it out nonetheless. The staff was very kind and helpful even though our reservation was the last one for the evening. This location is located inside the mall do you need to park and plan your visit accordingly based on the mall schedule. Certain entrances are locked after certain times so make sure you park in the proper sections before entering the mall.

This was the first time my family and I ever did an escape room, and it was so much fun! The room we did was so elaborate and the props were well made. We played the special ops room. It’s so much fun! There is awesome puzzles that were so interesting. There is one that involves shoes! It was so much fun to go with a few friends! Jamie was our instructor and he was awesome! At the beginning when he gave a little bit of the story it felt like it was a dungeon and dragons game. My friends and I just barely made it out with 2:48 seconds left, and only two people of our group of five had done an escape room before, so it’s perfect for first time players but it was also hard enough so you still had fun!

My wife and I have done quite a few rooms (10+ easily) with another couple. But this time we were visiting Nashville with our kids (15 and 11) and have done a couple rooms together. Point of it all these rooms were some of the best made rooms we’ve seen. Puzzles were challenging and just enough hints given to us and kids to keep it moving while still hard to finish. We loved the first room gold rush so much we immediately booked special ops right after it again it didn’t disappoint. Highly recommend. Well done. Great fun

My husband and I were visiting for our honeymoon. We need something to kill a little time and we found ourselves going to this escape room. The staff was absolutely incredible! We told them we were on our honeymoon and they gave us a card that had messages from each staff member, stickers, and they even gave us a dinner certificate for a local restaurant. It was honestly one of the best experiences we had in Nashville while we were there. Thank you so much to this staff we had a blast in the sabatoge room and everyone was so kind!
