Good relatively small airport. Parking is cheap (at least compared to for example Boston Logan Airport) and it's very close to the terminals. Security is almost always pretty fast and so is check-in. There's only one place to get coffee and the line there tends to be pretty long. Restrooms are clean. WiFi is pretty good!

Nice smaller airport. Restrooms are very clean, hand towels were out of stock in one of two containers in the women's restroom. Seems after 6 pm if you want food or drink, it's self serve at kiosks with self checkout, at least in the B15-19 gate area. There is a long table with free electrical outlets (AC and USB) and chairs with backs nearby. Being an older lady with painful arthritis, I was delighted to be asked by a very nice employee if I wanted a ride on the cart to my gate. He saved me a very long walk and my sore knees were very grateful.

You know, this has to be one of the cleanest, easiest airports I have ever been too. While busy, the layout is straightforward, access to whatever is quick. Luggage is unloaded pretty promptly as well. I would have given 4 stars were it not for the garage elevator STILL being out of commish (months and months already) and a safer exit to 65 than either doing a loop or cutting over several lanes.

Small town feel, big city access. Fantastic little big airport. Quick check in breeze through security and then enjoy some of the shops with coffee soda or food items. Very clean and friendly all over. 👍❤

A solid and great regional airport. Clean and orderly. Easy to get in and out. Good selection of snacks and restaurants. Good flight selection. TSA precheck relatively slow - regular line was much faster.

They are working on improvements you can tell. My biggest gripe with flying to/ from Louisville is the cost and flight options are very limited. The surrounding airport prices are SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper, faster and direct. Also, baggage claim takes forever!!

All the TSA people were so nice! We were departing from SDF and the guy checking our ID’s was just so nice and even said Happy Early Birthday to my husband! Great way to go out especially first thing in the morning!

Nice airport, plenty of sitting and parking usually available. All the major airline and car rental places as well. If you're going to be here for a while bring snacks, as with all airports prices are high and it's hard to find a free water fountain now a days, and you must have a credit card for all car rentals. No free parking either.

I don't know who made the decision to place the rental cars on the 1st floor of the parking garage, but it has made parking at the airport even more of a challenge. It may be temporary I hope. Talk to the people that use the airport regularly and get opinions on improvements. TSA is always backed up even in the pre check expedited line. Lots of standing around. Lots of money being spent on visual improvements but not a lot on efficiency in my opinion

Food was amazing! I couldn't eat all of it. I had chili Sriracha boneless wings and the Brussel sprouts. I wish I wasn't flying out because I definitely would have loved to take the rest with me to eat later. I told the waitress they need to have kids size portions lol. I will visit another one in my travels for sure.

A fairly nice layout. The car rental return signs have one tricky turn. The Delta ticket counter was quite busy but was moving pretty good. It also had one of the longest TSA lines I've seen in a while.

Arrived 2 hours before departure at 7:36. Getting boarding pass was quick about 15 minutes with about 15 people ahead of me. Screening took a bit longer. About 100 people ahead of me and took about 30 minutes. All in all not bad. Everyone was friendly.

Was at the airport at 04:00. Fairly standard as far as regional airports go. A few things to note for though: - Delta check in doesn't open until 04:00 am. No point in getting there earlier. - The security check in line was about 10 minutes to get all the way through. - There are no pet relief areas past the security check point. - Starbucks opens at 05:00, it will already have a huge line. There are hot coffee dispensers, one at the end of each terminal and in the center concourse across from the Starbucks entrance. - There is a food vending machine (sandwiches, salads, etc) across from the Starbucks exit. Surprisingly no vegetarian or vegan options, all the salads had meat.

Rental returns-great experience. Security was smooth and everyone was super friendly however, the only "vendor" open had bare shelves. I understand that it's only 7am but, a lot of flights going out this early.

Road signage for Premier East Parking needs to be placed on main roadway, was difficult to find. Worker's out front gave aide. Trolley driver drove us to A10 terminal. Thank you so much

Looks like it's recently renovated nice. If it wasn't for the TSA worker who had a bad machine that wouldn't read my wife's driver's license and had us go back to the counter I would give it five stars

Nice midsized airport, just 10-15 minutes away from downtown Louisville. Just a word of caution, most Rental car offices at the airport close by midnight (except for National), so if your flight gets delayed and you arrive after that time you won't be able to pick up your car.

We drove from Dayton Ohio for a chartered flight to Biloxi Mississippi. This was on a Sun. night no Shuttle buses, no wheel chair assistance but caught a ride 5 gates away from our gate. Lucky us.

Don't expect them to go out of the way to accommodate any special needs requests. During my few visits, wheelchair services were repeatedly called over and over again, with no replies at all, let alone anyone with a wheelchair. Unacceptable, and very disturbing.

Made it from the curb to the gate in 20 minutes! And that was with an unexpected extra security screening because TSA was interested in my shampoo... The gates are pretty far away from the security check point, but the have the moving sidewalks that allow to to zoom through the airport. Not many restaurants, past security checkpoint, but there is a Starbucks. Friendly staff and the restrooms were clean.

I took my 11 year old granddaughter to the airpor.t she was flying alone. She had two layovers,a flight attendant immediately put her first, helped her board, and took care of her on the flight, and stayed with her til she was picked up. She had a great flight.

My flight was overbooked so my airline put me on another flight that is 4 hours later. Too short to go to hotel. So now I have to look for a place to rest. Luckily, Louisville airport decided to do some upgrades and put in a “meditation room.” Nobody knows it’s here and it’s completely empty. Sweet! There are electrical outlets and cushioned benches. Good place to take collect my thoughts...while my eyes are closed..(nap) and charge my phone at the same time. 😊👍🥱

Easy to get around. Small. Big downside is lack of food options. Only one restaurant open in concourse A and B. One Starbucks which had a line going out to the hallway. Other stores offer same high priced, poorly nutritious take out sandwiches and salads. Plan ahead.

Restrooms need cleaning - Starbucks needs more help - TSA need to listen to passengers....they tried putting my parents on the wrong plane (different gate and time even) while I went to get a coffee. My parents kept telling them "this is not their gate" and the TSA kept pushing them....craziness! Thank goodness for the ticket scanner system.

So far this airport is realy navigational. I'll write more once I have completed my departure trip. I will say that tring to figure out which carousel to pick up your luggage at is a bit difficult if you do not have an airline app which tracks your luggage. I did not see a carousel monitor stating which flight was on which carousel.

The Airport and staff were great, especially the heavier-set guy named John, helpped my fiance and 1 year old with items, after southwest changed the flight from 7:35pm to 10:10pm with no warning. Leaving my 1year old with no food or milk. So yeah will never recommend Southwest to anyone

It's not a huge airport nor is it *small* very clean and friendly.There's a couple of shops opened on both sides of TSA however, not many food options since covid.If you're flying in at night forget anything being open but a cookie/pretzel/flat bread pizza vending machine (it bakes it while you wait) and an ice cream machine. Restrooms always clean with changing tables.Special assistance seems to always be senior citizens pushing your wheelchair so it feels a bit wierd when someone having trouble walking steadily themself is pushing you! The do have one multi seat cart to help people to their gate that needs it but goodluck not finding it busy!

The only issue I experienced was, after getting to the airport hours before flight time and after going thru security, there were limited places to eat that you could sit down and even then seating was limited with lines to get a seat. Lesson learned, eat before you get to the airport or before you go thru security.

TSA took my sweet tea. When I left Alburquerky on the way home they told me I had to have the smaller drink size. Now on the way back Lousive TSA said all I could have was 3.4oz of hand sanitizer as a liquid and that was the only option. I don't fly a lot and I am not familiar with the rules so just stating my experience.

This airport is easy to get to from our house, but it lacks a cell phone lot, and on a busy holiday weekend the parking deck was full which meant if you were picking someone up you could either: park illegally on the side of the approach road and wait or circle endlessly around the approach road. SDF needs to join the rest of American airports and offer a cellphone lot.

Typically this airport chugs along at a relatively moderate pace. Security lines are never more than 20 mins. Early mornings are actually the busiest time of day so if you have a pre-7AM flight build in an extra 10 mins. Beyond security checkpoint, food/drink options are severely limited to a delicious local pizza chain (Coals), Five Guys burgers and an abomination called Chili’s Too(?). Drink prices are expensive for the city but typical for airport prices. Overall it’s a middle of the road regional airport that certainly won’t wow you but will very rarely piss you off a la O’Hare or Charlotte. 7/10 PS: the flight to La Guardia is almost always delayed, only because La Guardia is a steaming dump. Be warned.
