Reviews of Harry Reid International Airport
Jun Yuan
A beautiful, busy, clean, and well organized airport in Las Vegas! There are a lot of shopping stores, duty free store, restaurants, and Starbucks, which makes your departure and arrival experience even more convenient. Was very impressed that there are many clean restrooms there! Not many airports have this kind of services. Great! There are 3 terminals connected with the Trams! Very easy access and navigate to where you need to be. The information desk staff was very friendly and knowledgeable! I have attached some pictures here and hope you will like them.

Big airport with a lot of connection. I visited a few times while visiting Las Vegas, and as a layover too. They have more than terminals and the inter terminal connection is through train. The trains have different lines and a bit confusing. I was about to lose my connecting flights in this process of changing the terminals. Otherwise, the airport is nice, with many eating options, and clean washrooms. You can gamble too, even in the airport here. They have many a lot machines in the airport. The airport is right beside the Las Vegas Blvd, aka strip, and surrounded by NV desert mountains. The view is incredible from the airport terminal.

Harry Reid International Airport was nice. There were a lot of places to eat in the airport. Which is always a good thing because after a 4hr flight from the coast. Those snacks on the flight will hold you over over for a little while.
Airport was clean, bathrooms were clean and functional for the most part. Vegas is hot, so I’d recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, even a portable battery fan if you have one laying around.
Zach Day
Nice little airport and the best part in my opinion is the park & ride semi- long term parking. You just drive in after collecting your ticket, park your vehicle and then there is a shuttle bus that comes around every 15 minutes to take you to the airport terminal. The drivers are always very pleasant and helpful. Very cool addition to the airport.
Finding The Force
So on one of our last flights we had to change planes in Las Vegas, and boy am I glad we did not waste time. We had to walk to the other terminal which felt like it was on the other side of the airport. It was a pretty long stretch however there were plenty of stores and slot machines every step of the way. When we finally got to our gate luckily there were two choices for restaurants and the Mexican restaurant turned out to be pretty good. So glad they keep all the smoking in this one slot machine room, you could smell it from 50 feet away.

A good airport that has a nice balance to it. As one of the busy airports in the airport, I would say their processes are efficient. However it can get crowded. I've visited las Vegas on one of the busiest periods of the year several times and I was able to get through security check in on time. It has 3 terminals. There is quite a good selection of shops and restaurants and it is often open till night.
Maya Hadzhipetkova
Very pleasant, comfortable and clean.
Easily accessible by bus route 108 (the fastest route) Do Not try to get the Douce when going to the airport, it is constantly extremely delayed and overcrowded - you might miss your flight.
The airport has slots inside the terminals, just in front of the gates so you could keep betting all the way until last calls 😁
The staff members are very helpful, caring and polite.

Considering this city is all about hospitality you would think the airport would be glam. It is just ok. Often times you will find long lines, but I admit that they typically move quickly. The dining options are surprisingly not so inspiring. But there are a lot of slot machines in the airport almost guaranteeing Vegas will take your last penny.

I love Harry Raid International Airport in Las Vagas. I usually use this airport to transit to other airports because there are lots of flights any time of the week. You can find really cheap flights. There won't be problems finding flights to connect to your final destinations, either. You will not get bored with your layover time at this airport because there are so many slots machines you can play and kill your time and money 😄✈️

Airports, in general, can be scary, especially if it’s an airport you have never been to in a state you’re not too familiar with.
When I arrived at the Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada, I was a bit nervous because I had never been there before. I had that panic feeling, worrying about where everything was, worrying about how I would get to where I needed to go, etc. Thankfully, I found baggage claim and located the timeshare pick-up area. There were many clear visible signs that pointed you in the right direction.
When departing from Harry Reid International Airport, it was very easy to locate the terminal, check in bags, locate security and locate the gate. I have to say; the TSA team was very nice and very helpful thought the screening process. One of the nicest I have encountered. If you need one last go at the slot machine, don't worry, they have plenty throughout the airport!
Banger Willis
I love this airport. Ranks up there with the best of them, including Burbank and Santa Rosa. There's plenty of options for food and drink, and you can get beer to go!! w00t w00t
I'm usually in terminal one, but occasionally terminal 3 as well. It's all gravy.
Stephanie Roche
I know they have been remodeling the entire airport, but Gate C needs some work. It felt old there, but did have charging places at every seat, so it wasn't too bad. Gate D was fabulous! Two VIP lounges, lots of stores and places to use a laptop as well. The contrast was noticeable but only because I had time to wander between the two gates.
Tim Frantz
Yikes! The place was packed! They are having multiple conventions in the city and everyone is flying in. Super long lines at all the places to eat. Long line for bathrooms but managed to get in and out. Even with all the people it was to find my destination. You have to make it to the main baggage claim to pick up luggage. I literally walked up and my baggage was rolling off. Getting a cab is also super easy. You find the line and they assign a cab to you. Ride to the hotel only took 10 minutes due to traffic. I will have to explore all the fine stores the airport has inside!

Nice airport and the slot machines really make it a unique airport. I stayed at the STRAT hotel and taking the 108 bus from ground zero level near Terminal A & B got me in and out of this airport quick. $2 Bus ride on the 108 bus was much better than taxis etc if you don't mind the local transport.
Cam Geis
Personally love the nightlife and sights you could see from the airport itself. Only time in Vegas and didn’t leave the terminal. Plenty of food options to keep you tied over in between flights, as well as shopping. Spent a few minutes spinning the slots, there are quite a few throughout the airport. Overall clean and comfortable place.

Great location of airport. You fly in at night over the city lights with great views! Inside airport, it's built to keep you active while you wait (gambling mainly). I'd recommend a bigger wing for budget airlines like Frontier and Southwest. Area was overly packed, difficult to walk to/from gate and limited eateries to handle the sheer size of travelers. Also a kids playground would keep the kids off the moving walkways used by rushing travelers.
CMB Caspanello
For such a dirty town this is a very clean airport. Slot machines everywhere. Nice food areas, a general smoking area with slot machines. Different levels for modes of transportation, but ride share is way out there however worth the trek on taxi prices.
Talal Jabari
Full of amenities for a smaller airport which is great. There's quite a selection of eateries that one can go to. And in typical Vegas fashion, from the moment you get off the plane you can start gambling, with dozens of machine clusters everywhere you look.
Around the World
We got here at 6:30am on a Thursday and it took less then 10mins to go thru security line. There were about 10 lines open so it went really fast. We flew frontier and our gate was D so we had to take the train from terminal to gate D which also took about 5 min. This airport is really organize and spacious. We had about 1.5 hours until departure so we walked around and found some comfy couches in the back of the airport pass gate 18 and across from dunkin donuts. Pictures are attached. There're also charging stations all over the airports, some on chairs and some on tables. You can use a plug or USB cord to charge. And yes, there're slot machines.
Lorri Parks
Lots of places to eat and slot machines meet your when your exit the plane.
We were helped with locating our luggage that arrived hours before we did without issue. They were very helpful.
We purchased a ride to our hotel and waited for over 30 minutes without a bus showing up. We were given a refund and found alternate transportation.

Date of visit: September 2022
Getting through security was smooth and relatively quick compared to other airports.
Terminal had everything you need, although a little boring, just slot machines for entertainment.
Clean and lots of natural light.
Like Vegas everything is very expensive.
There are water points, so worth bring an empty water bottle through security so you can fill up.
Blue Bean Photography
We would have been through the airport super quickly if the Immigration system hadn't have gone down three times. Therefore we were waiting in the terminal for an hour before they decided to manually process us. However we were kept thoroughly entertained by the policemen looking after our queue who fed us with with Vegas and Elvis facts, and even gave our children glow lights to keep them patient and entertained. Once through the baggage the process was very speedy. A very clean and well laid out airport with lots of room to move through with your baggage.
Michael Delehanty Real Estate
I didn’t take too many photos of this airport, mostly because I was running to catch my flight. However, the security stop was virtually deserted and I would up getting to my gate early. It’s a very cute airport with super easy access, especially from the strip. I paid only $14 for a Uber and the pickup for Uber is well marked and very organized. I highly recommend using that service if you need a ride.
I love the decorations here but it’s weird to see slot machines in an airport. And the C concourse is quite long and not as nice as the others. Let me know if you agree with my thoughts.
Steven
Not too far from the strip and pretty efficient. I was able to get in and out pretty easy and nothing was delayed. Pretty cool they have slot machines in the airport as well to get you in the mood. Cash out on the spot available!
Gourmand
I love this airport for the sheer reason of it being such a unique stop. Filled with slot machines everywhere you can see, this feels like you never left The Strip. The abundance of restaurants is great as well.
The airport is fairly easy to navigate (when you get to arrivals, go to the second floor for the gates). From there, just follow signs. Security is fairly quick, and the trains to take you from security to the gates is fast.
While waiting for your flight, feel free to play some of those slot machine games. Yes they can also have big payouts and it is monitored by staff 24/7.

Almost one year after the Las Vegas airport changed its name from McCarran International to Harry Reid International Airport, the airport signage still does not reflect this new name. I understand that some things will take time to change, but the main sign when people enter should have priority if the name change is really important. YET, the name change still does not improve customer service. I waited more than 50 minutes in the line for the rental car shuttle!
Wineguy71
Great airport. Easy to maneuver around. Nice food options. Also, great slots as well. Beautiful views of the city as well. Overall, it was an excellent experience flying in and out of here.
Nazmus S
Clean and very well organized airport. I found it pretty interesting/amusing that we could see slot machines right after entering through the gates! It’s like passengers will know right away where they are :)
Tom
Nearby hotels have 24 x 7 shuttles - ask before booking. Ticketing area is a bit challenging depending on where you enter. The sineage is poor. Ticketing is at the lower level, not the lower baggage claim area. TSA & boarding gates are on the upper level. TSA can slow you down a lot - ongoing amateurs coming and going (scanned my house plant so much, its glowing :). Check your terminal number - there is a train to the terminal - allow extra time. Airport is surprisingly close to the strip, but traffic can make all the difference in transit time to the airport.
אביב בQq
Very big and clean airport . You have diffrent stores in the terminal but for chain food places you need walk 10-20min some times depend's on your gate. Most of the stores are overpriced so better buy at walmart before enter the airport and put in your big case.
Pamela Hoover
This was our First Time flying into Las Vegas, this is a very busy airport as many layover on they're way to Dallas Texas. The flight felt a little long, We Normally Drive up, our plane started to land, but for whatever reason it ascended back in the air and went into a holding pattern before we finally landed. Otherwise the Flight Attendant that spoke over the Intercom kept us laughing, She had a great sense of humor. Thanks Southwest for a pleasant flight.
Douglas Paulin
While the baggage claim area is nice some of the terminals are very lacking and in desperate need of a remodel. I do give them a little credit for having some interesting tidbits about the local history but again the presentation was quite dated as well.
Poor seating, WiFi and charging options along with restaurants still closed in some areas makes this pretty painful compared to other airports with far less traffic than here...
Scott O'Brien
Great place to kill some time. Plenty of food and shops to pass the time. Tons of places to walk. A lot of people watching opportunities. Bathrooms can get trashed. As with the strip, this place never sleeps.
Matt Henry
This is a pretty good airport. Weather only an issue from wind. An abundance of restaurants. Bathrooms are quite jammed together. Has a train that takes you to Concorse.
Anna Rowe
This airport is larger than you think. Slot machines everywhere, great to get your fix if you didn't get it on Fremont or the strip. Security is all in one place and then you have to take a tram to your terminal, not great if you're cutting close to your boarding time. Overall not a bad airport, the flow is relatively streamlined.
Your Traveling Potter
This post is for 'backpackers/ overnight travelors' I was in Vegas airport for a 8 hour layover 11PM -7AM. I had hoped there were seats to sleep on. I was mistaken. I understand that some people may not be considerate, but It would be a nice addition.
I did find behind the Starbucks and California Pizza Kitchen a few padded seats! Each one was taken, but it's there.
Other than that... It's a clean airport.
Chadwick Goodrich
This is the airport we always fly into. Whenever we go to Las Vegas. There is a huge airport right outside the city. It’s a guarantee you will fly into this airport upon arrival it’s simple to collect your bag and grab and Uber.
Trenton Talburt
Definitely a large airport. Was nice and plenty of things to stop and eat etc. Wasn't super impressed with directions to the shuttles etc. They could use a lot more signage for those issues. Once we finally found it though it wasn't bad. Baggage claim went super fast and smooth. That was pretty impressive for sure.
Brian Hargis
***EASY DOES IT***
This airport was small and easily navigated between flights. I was not expecting the casino machines, but it's VEGAS.
Vicente Albuerne
McCarran International Airport very easily to navigated by everyone going in and to Las Vegas, a lots option to shopping and eating, with some gambling machines to say to you welcome to Vegas the Disney park for adults.
Alfredo Garcia Jr
From arrival to parking in Terminal 1 covered garage parking to getting to our Southwest gate was less than 30 mins. All went smooth. :-) Well organized and no problems!
Dwayne Vance
Great flight in this morning. Airport signs still say “mc Caren airport “ just know they will be changed eventually. Overall great airport. I only had carry on bags.
Nickie
Nice Airport! Has everything you need. Lots of places to eat. Everybody is nice and it’s well organized. It was a breeze traveling through here.
Jester
Harry Reid, formally known as McCarran International Airport, is one of the best airports I've ever been to. Very clean and organized! It took about 20 minutes to get through TSA due to the long lines. It was very easy to get from terminal 1 to the D gates, via APM. My family and I were about to miss our flight, but thankfully once we arrived to the gate, the gate agent was able help us out and we caught our flight on time. Lot's of slot machines, but hey, it's Vegas! Lot's of restaurants too, saw a Chili's, Starbucks, Burger King, etc. Can't wait to be back once I fly in again!
Gaku “GK” Kamitani
LAX airport is, needless to say, the entrance of Las Vegas, the most famous casino resort. The airport concourse and even some corridors are full of casino machines such as a slot machine. As I am a noob as a casino player, just transiting at this airport can be an amazing experience.
anirudh girey
Las Vegas airport is totally different depending on which parts you are in. The older areas in the A and B gates areas are not at all in good shape. Many of the amenities are closed early or not open at all – almost like it has been abandoned…….sorry to say. Probably being re-done, but I have changed here several times in the last couple of years and Terminal 1 areas are still gong downhill, though Shake Shack opened recently. The C gate area is where it gets better and you can transit to the D and E areas here on the tram and the D/E gates area are mostly all MUCH newer and nicer. If you are in LAS for longer than to just change planes, then get over to the C area on foot (still inside security) and take the two trams from C to D and then from D to E. You’ll thank me for this advice.
Randy G
Just a quick trip from arrival to Uber pickup up over to Terminal 3 via the Red Train but a very clean bright airport. More review to come on departure.
Nicky Chips
Clean and well purposed! If travelling with only carry-on luggage into Terminal 1 and grabbing a ride-share, forego the escalators to baggage claim to proceed to the crosswalk/beltway for the parking garage. Needless to say I went down through baggage claim.
Dave Harlan
Not bad. TSA is quick, everything seems clean. They could use more and better signs, but otherwise a fairly good American airport.
Justus Witty
So, there are a lot of great things about this airport. It’s got tons of dining options which is awesome when you have a layover. It’s laid out pretty well too. And of course you can fly all over the world from here.
That being said, I don’t think I’ve ever had a flight through or from here that hasn’t been delayed. It seems to be without fail that this happens. It’s always crazy busy and delayed… and there is hardly anything we hate when flying more than flight delays.
JETS
Spacious airport with all the flashiness and amenities that you would imagine finding in the airport of Sin City. Slot machines jingle (where you can cash out your vouchers right then and there!) and there’s a tram to take you to the baggage claim. Tons of ride-shares to use in their own designated area.
Josho Kamoo
I had a good experience and found the airport one of the best that I have been to.
Airport is modern, clean ,and easy to navigate around.there is free transport within the airport and a tram system that transports across terminals.I would recommend
Chris Fellure
This airport looks like one of the more popular Vegas attractions! I've never seen such a lively baggage claim! Heads up if you're looking for a rideshare...so is everyone else. Bonus points for the tram though, very efficient!
Star Kilbourne
Kinda small and boring but had good lighting. I also had a great nap during my layover. The biggest downside was the entire airport smelled like smoke.
Bryan Daniel
We're currently waiting for our airport in morning (T-3) to go back to our home! Time for us to go back to our reality after two weeks in northeastern state (Vermont). We have to get our bags and ourselves checked at TSA in morning. Keep it up good work!
Alan P
Security was were efficient going to D gates...I woke up late and felt rushed. Somehow they missed 2 bottles of liquid that I set aside in a separate bin along with the prescription, nevertheless they missed it and nabbed some gal fir her vape pen. Go figure...anyway upon arrivals, rideshare is across the terminal from baggage claim inside parking garage. Don't just stand there...there are many lanes that the driver can choose..I suggest moving towards the car entrance to watch for your plate number..then flag. Plenty of gamblers in the Airport...lots of shops and eateries too...leave 2 hours from curb to takeoff.
Mariela Monteoliva
The airport is huge and when we arrived it wasn't very good signalled where do we have to go to pick up our luggage and we ended in the other terminal... then we have to go back and go to the other luggage pick up site, which were both far a away from the arrival gate... with all the people using this airport they could do a better job with the signs. On the contrary, the car rental center was signaled very good.
Rubén Hiciano
Airport was clean, areas were clearly identified. There were enough power outlets to charge mobile devices. Making way thru CBP check was faster than expected.
My only complain is that elevators and electric stairs are shut down at night. Making it a bit harder to move around.
Corey Mayfield
Not enough shops, restaurants, and stores for when you have to stay a good length of time in the terminal but has a great view of the strip in terminal A.
Miguel Hernandez
This is the first airport I visit that has slot machines available to passengers awaiting a flight for departure or arriving. Very clean and a lot of promotions of current shows and events taking place. Nice and friendly staff.
Rick Fulmer
It must be high tide in the swamp...harry Reid's name is always at the top of every sign. I hear they got 20 Starbucks on the property. Here is the great bonus. All of the airport clocks sport the Rolex logo. Aaah bringing luxury to the masses.
Volodymyr Matvieiev
Pleasant, ambiguous space with effective coordination, in the formation of appropriate style, decoration, scenery with a clear sense of ease, places to hang out, space and acceptable convenience with a spatial concept
Keng Low
Place is hot coming in and leaving. Its also confusing for first time visitors. Red Line vs Blue Line, Terminal 1 vs Terminal 3
Long walk from gate in T3 to Uber pick up area. Be prepared to hoof it if you need to from the lounge to your gate too.
Flew in to terminal one. Much larger and busier. Highly recommend the TSA pre. Check the pre lines and normal
Praneet Raj
My first time @Vegas airport. Didn’t expect to see casinos all around at the airport. Took pictures in the sequence of getting off the plane at United terminal all the way to Uber ride. These pictures will you idea of the path to Uber from the gate, please use it as your reference. Overall a clean and well organized airport.
Asif Rehmani
I feel like this airport keeps on improving every time I return. Nice and spacious. Of course it's in Vegas so it has to have obligatory gambling at the airport 😊 . you'll find lots of slot machines as you exit the gate and then all throughout the airport as well.
Really nice mix of restaurants here as well to appease almost any taste.
Tip: Make sure you take the right train to get to the right gate after passing security are. Otherwise you have to take the train to to come back to the main area to take the other train.
Klaus Bello
No TSA, no functional walkways, otherwise just an ordinary airport. If everything works then we would have more efficient travel, less stress and more joy of enjoying the different vendors. Relatively modern and updated, except the poor logistics on TSA and motorized walkways not working.
Harvey Adame
Welcome to Vegas were you can leave beyond your dreams! Try the food, drinks, entertainment, and more it's 24/7 here anything you need is here for you and the familia. Peace and love! Fly high!
Sophia N
Decent airport with slots machines to entertain you. There isn’t the best selection of food choices especially in for Terminal 1 D gates. The pandemic is still affecting hours of operations for some of the restaurants, so places aren’t opened or have reduced hours. The gate seating layout isn’t the most efficient and there could be some more updating with adding electric outlets at the seats. Better signage would be good for navigating around the airport especially with getting to the gates and transportation.
Alex T
Lacks customer service and covid 19 security measures. In other airports, you see employees cleaning and disinfecting and there are sanitizer stations everywhere, in Vegas there was not even soap in the bathrooms. The employees were rude and looked at travelers like a burden. TSA employees were the rudest ones and talk to travelers like they are talking to inmates. Directions are very confusing, and there is cigarette smell everywhere. I know is Vegas, but if there are designated areas to smoke, why is smoke everywhere you go. There is more than casinos, drinking and smoking in Vegas, therefore, the airport should be a neutral place where everyone feels comfortable and happy to have a vacation in whatever activity they choose and not have to put up with disgusting habit people who like to smoke and get drunk before they make it out of the airport. Customer service should be a priority as Vegas thrives on visitors having a good experience and coming back, as it stands,I don't believe I want to comeback!
Corina Mayo
Always one of my favorite airports.
Very busy but during pandemic slowed down for a few months but is picking up again.
Very clean and well maintained terminal as well as the service of the airport employees. From the custodial cleaners, TSA, Ticket Counter and gate agents to security directing traffic is on track.
Southwest employees today was the least friendliest by far of anyone at the airport.
Heather L
The food was great... the price was outrageous. We got 2 burgers a large fry and 2 shakes and it was over 40 bucks!?!
Just to be clear the food was plentiful and on point. My husband said they had the best fries he's ever had. We went here because a friend's son needed to eat gluten free and 5 guys takes care of that!! Kudos to them for making special dietary requirements a priority. Thanks for the great experience but with the economy the way it is we won't be back till we get a top tier job. Blessings to those who can afford this and guaranteed you'll be getting excellent quality food!!🤠🙌🏻
Tanya Blehm
This airport is well laid out and marked. There was not a long wait at security. Has a nice mall like setting between terminals but little in the terminals as far as shops. Free WiFi too. Lacks seating at the gates.
Hannah (莫恩妍)
Didn’t spend super long at this airport, but did walk around and see it has a decent selection of shops. Liked that there was Peet’s not just Starbucks. Didn’t like how the entire airport is full of slot machines and such, but I get that it’s Vegas. Just seemed like there was too much going on everywhere with the noise and flashing lights of the casino stuff and made it hard to relax.
Liz G
The terminals are pretty spread out however they have an nice inter terminal bus. Clean water foundations and bathrooms. Terminal 3 is full of trash and not as taken care off as the other terminals. Casino machines pretty much everywhere, a typical airport.
KL Jackson
The busiest 24-hour airport in the West; where most of the restaurants and shops are closed after 8:00 PM and the bathrooms are better taken care of on the planes than in the airport when it’s late at night! ;)
Rengesh K
Gets crowded terminal needs some serious renovation. On the positive side the airport is very close to the strip and attractions
Mary
This airport was very well staffed. We traveled with our dog and they even had an area for dogs to potty which included an indoor fire hydrant. We had an excellent experience.
David Peck
This airport is pretty well thought out. Getting from terminal to car and back is pretty easy. By the time we got to baggage claim our bags were there.
Whoami 0070
This place is crazy busy. Waiting at Luggage Claim for friends is no joke. Luckily there is a Starbucks to wait. People watching is hilarious and such a treat. Might have to come back after midnight just for fun.
T. Renna G
The Las Vegas experience starts in the airport if you like to gamble the machines are waiting for you.
We were able to get in and out with no problems. Grabbed some coffee from Burger King on my 5 am flight out.
Tom R Baker
This is a large airport. It can take considerable time to get from the entrance to your gate. The TSA checkpoints cover many gates and airlines. There are several restaurants scattered about. There are also slot machines all over the airport.

Very nice airport, huge, full of stores and restaurants! Only wish it had more employees to ask for directions since it is so huge. We had a hard time finding where to go for luggage, as well as another family that was just getting off the plane. We ended up helping each other find where to go, thankfully.
Miriam Hernandez
Of course, it has to have a little casino area! I thought that was funny when we arrived at the airport from our flight. It was very nice and easy to navigate. Staff were pleasant.
Alexander Sakamoto
Very modern and organized Airport! Be sure to follow the signs to catch the correct tram for your baggage claim. A ton of shops restaurants and even slot machines everywhere! In my opinion Harry Reid international Airport is one of the best airports that I ever been to! Good luck in Vegas! Also enjoy the great restaurants and shows that Vegas has to offer!
Joey Pauga
True to its character, even the Vegas airport is a happening place and even has slot 💲💲💲 machines 🙂
It's fun looking and the lighting makes you think you're at the strip already 😁
Marz Martinez
In my own experience it was easy to navigate. Really like the screens they have above the "luggage/bag pick up" terminals to match what airline you luggage🧳will pop out of. It's helpful. Bathrooms are clean. There's is a mini casino 🎰 in the airport if your board. The workers here are nice to me & so helpful. Thank you. …
James Allen
Great airport. Midsized and lots to do while waiting on your flight. I had great security screeners .
Top notch employees.
D Maj
Flew into Vegas for a week. Airport is nice. Lots of sculptures and arts to view. Bathrooms though, for men, could use some help. I know thousands must pass through the airport daily though.
David Brayford
A nice airport that is easy to navigate around and there is a railway that takes you between terminals. The security lines can be long and for some strange reason a lot of people tried to bring full water bottles through security, which increases the time required to pass through security. This isn't the fault of the airport or the TSA.
Jan Broucinek
It moves a lot of traffic...we waited 1 hour in the plane for a gate to park at. The incredibly long escalator down to baggage claim was not working. The bags were not on the carousel we were told to go to. It definitely needs some help.
Brett S
My experience was with the C Gate section of the airport but it was a good experience.
The area was clean including the bathrooms. Several restaurants to choose from and the seats all had outlets to plug your devices in to. Ample seating as well.
Multiple slot machines to pick from and some of the shops sold gambling or Vegas themed items.
I would not have a problem flying through this airport again.
Eric Gaby
Fairly easy to navigate...restrooms need some TLC. Need more spaces to sit while waiting to get into terminals. Allegiant Ticket Agents are pleasant and helpful. Picture from "A" terminal looking west.
Camila Alejo
Nice airport. From the moment you step foot off the plane you already feel like you're in Las Vegas.
Gregory Howell
When the nonstop flight doesn't work from Los Angeles to Denver, McCarran International Airport (LAS) is the ideal stopover for a mini-Vegas vacation. The expansive airport is complete with just about every amenity imaginable from celebrity-chef restaurants & bars to slots located throughout the terminals. GH
Fraser Street
LAS is good as airports go. TSA Pre is always fast as is the train to D gates. Food options are OK. Rental car is off airport, but cab lines seem to be shorter than they used to be.
Okky Dion
Glad to be back in Vegas after 5 years, and it doesn't change at all, just the name of the airport from McCarran to Harry Reid.
Marc D
Not a huge airport but I can't complain. I come here 2 times a month visiting family. Going through TSA was actually pretty quick. Not much slow down at all. I would recommend it.
On a side note: it's an interesting airport because of all the different types of people going in and out of it... A fun "people watching airport" for sure.
Ric Thomas
As soon as you land in Las Vegas you know you are in Las Vegas. Airport is close enough to the strip that you can see it as your plane lands. If by chance you're not able to see out as soon as you step off the plane you can hear the sound of Vegas and slot machines right there in the airport. Anything to get that first and last buck out of you.
Chi Chi Ilonzo
First time here and it was pretty cool. Coming off the plane and there were casinos everywhere. Felt very Vegas-like. The airport was clean and spacious. Wasn’t difficult to navigate but the airport is really big so I wouldn’t recommend closely connecting flights. There are a variety of food options and shopping. The girl hotel I stayed at didn’t have a shuttle service, but there were other shuttle services that did. Very friendly people and I can’t wait to come back!
Kay
Easy to navigate this airport. Slot machines available if you want to play. Lots of dining options but many are closed at different times. Often the walking walkways are turned off. Shopping is available.
Jesse Vega
We took an Uber to the airport from Wynham Grand Desert. We arrived 3 hours early. We used Delta sky cap and checked 4 bags. The TSA line was very long we were in line for about 30 minutes. All in all TSA was fast and efficient! Lots of shopping and dining options in the airport. You’ll also have a chance to spin one last slot machine!!
Jennifer
My fave airport! There are so many food options and of course there are slot machines everywhere! The wait in this airport is enjoyable.
Denise Rhoden
I go to the airport a few times a year to pick up family members or drop them off. As long as you follow the signs and drive the speed limit, you can find your terminal drop off pretty easily. Inside the airport, there are plenty of places to eat and friendly employees willing to help if you need to find your checkin point or where your baggage claim will be. It’s clean and yes, there is a chance to gamble at the many slot machines located right outside of your terminal, if that was one of your Vegas trip goals. It’s a nice way to come in to Sin City, and an nice way to end your trip! Have a ball! 🤩
Tim Kennelly
Very quiet to fly out Tuesday evening. Great quick service at Southwest Airlines. Smooth through TSA. This is not the case on Sunday or Monday or holiday nights that we usually need to come an hour and a half early. Late flight out so good court & some businesses closing for the night but you can get something at the bar! Pei Wei has awesome steak bowl reasonable . Plenty of snack shops for a magazine, water or grab & go stuff. If you need at the Airport plan on paying premium!
brian “El footeay” foote
Easy to get through and fast. Vegas baby!!! Good times hanging out with everyone. Cheers🔥 ✌♥️ …
Matthew Roesler
No issues with the flight, Debarking was quick and easy. The style and art was modern, pleasing, and indicative of the design of the airport. Only issue we had was navigating to the baggage claim area. We ended up being directed towards terminal 1 and and our pickup for baggage was in terminal 3. We ended up spending 30 minutes extra roaming across the airport just to get to the right terminal to pick up our luggage.
Phillip Andrada
A great airport and pretty much the one you'll be flying into and out of when visiting Las Vegas. If you're confused about the difference between this airport and McCarran airport, they are one and the same as it was changed to the new name not too long ago. Plenty of shops and restaurants and fast food eateries to go to. While a large airport, it's somewhat easy to navigate. The staff are polite and professional. They are following current Covid guidelines. Recommended.
Megan Wilcox
We had a super fast experience leaving out of Las Vegas, which was surprising since I had always heard this airport was slow. We went through security within 20 minutes, even with them having to go through both my bags and check me. I was also really surprised by how nice everyone was that worked here, the security people were very friendly and seemed to be having a great day. Getting through the airport took a little bit with how large it is, but it was very easy to navigate.
Zeek & Rene Restaurant Critics
The airport is not big at all, NOT impressed! It is much smaller than Atlanta airport , for comparison. It has a few slot machines on site ( to remind you that you are in Las Vegas) and a decent but limited selection of restaurants and shops. It does not take too long to get to the Las Vegas strip and not too long to get through security. Some of the rental car companies are off the property, so you have to catch a shuttle or bus to get there. The airport definitely needs a remodeling , because it is out of date. It is well planned and easy to navigate through the gates. It is very clean and nicely designed and beautifully decorated. Reason for the three stars: The airport needs to be bigger and have that wow factor, because you are in Las Vegas after all.
Miriam Rosales
It was a bit confusing but this was my girst time here so that is to be expected. :) Overall a good experience though, friendly people that you can ask for directions if needed.
Natasha J.
D terminal is kind of rough. Cricket crawling on the floor. Bathrooms a little dirty. Barely any outlets anywhere near seats. But, plenty of bathrooms. Food offering is okay, places have good hours. Starbucks especially is open late and opens early. Some nice couches in a few places if you’re spending the night. Other than that seats are uncomfortable to sleep in. Best option is the floor. Lots of slot machines if you’re looking to gamble.
Kristian Shellman (heiroPhantom)
I used to work here. I can tell you that behind the scenes their is a culture of camaraderie and genuine desire to be the best.
The mindset was the same there as working in nightclubs on the Strip; 'the vast majority of guests flying in are doing so because they are celebrating a major life event, let's make that celebration one they'll remember for a lifetime!'
It's the best airport I've ever been to!
Daniel Frazier
Talk about knowing what they are doing. The Vegas Airport has never failed me personally. The amount of passengers moved in and out amazes me! Clean, lots of options.
aurelia nerval
Overall pretty good.
Maybe an exceptionally busy day? The slow lanes of traffic coming into the airport were stop and start for over a mile. Then all lanes jammed getting to our particular airline. Took much longer than expected. The line outside to print checked luggage tags was about 70 people deep but moved pretty quickly. Then TSA was reasonable. But good thing we left ourselves extra time to absorb the traffic delays.
Shaun Phoenix
Very pet friendly and has a few casino spots within the airport as well. Even places to smoke after security. Lots of food choices to choose from and a few bars as well. No matter what it is that your looking for, you can probably find it within the terminal. Staff was quite friendly in assisting to find the pet relief area and TSA was super friendly as well. This is probably one of the nicer airports I've been to in a while.
Kinj Guha
Probably the only airport with so many casino slot machines. After landing, you just come out of the plane - & you know it’s Vegas!
Clear directions & smooth transfer transport.
Green line, connecting Terminal 1 with C Gates
Blue line, connecting Terminal 1 with D Gates
Red line, connecting Terminal 3 with D Gates
City view while landing or taking off is worth watching too. Very close too downtown Vegas.
James Tabbah
Although this is a smaller airport it should be the model that others try and repeat. It is clean well organized and offers many different choices for the flyers. It also goes out of its way to be friendly and accessible to the elderly and disabled. There is no doubt this is a five star facility.
Tiffany Clark
My mother is disabled and that always causes issues at airports but we didn’t have a single issue here! They were polite and helpful. They held nice conversation and answered questions without hesitation. Plus it is a beautiful airports
Bobson Wong
Airport is clean and very spacious. Lots of shops to be able to make last-minute purchases of souvenirs or gifts. Security was very efficient. I was able to go through the TSA Pre-check line, and I sped through it in 2 to 3 minutes -- literally! Didn't have to take out my laptop for screening.
I didn't give a 5-star rating because signage could certainly be improved. It's not always clear where to go for car rentals, terminal shuttles, or city bus.
Jared Garrett
Once you get inside the airport, it is really good. However finding your way to a nice economy lot at the right terminal is very hard. They need much better signage and maybe some other guidance as well. But we got there and we are on the plane on time so that's OK.
Recep Tunahan Tural
The airport is well designed. It wasn't busy when I got there. You can work easily at the airport since there are many working desk throughout the airport.
Diana Heggenstaller
Have never personally had any problems at the airport. Everyone is knowledgeable and willing to assist when needed. Whether I'm flying out or in...or picking up or dropping off...or grabbing a quick bite/drink before flight...from check-in to boarding...or deboarding to baggage claim...my traveling experiences @ McCarran over the years have been seamless. (Yes...I said McCarran...the renaming was ridiculous 😐).
Mary Catherine
This airport is deceptively large and the split between terminals 1 and 3 can turn into quite a pain. Baggage claim for terminal 3 requires a shuttle over from the arrivals area (terminal 1) and similarly the bus stop for the airport is only at terminal 1. There's also transport needed to D vs E in terminal 3, so it can add up to quite a few extra steps/shuttles/trains to get where you need to be. Everything ran efficiently and everyone is helpful and nice, but the flow for departures didn't feel as streamlined due to these extra steps.
Joshua
I liked this airport, except for when it came to southwest having us walk from B gates to C gates, it took a half hour (we were with toddler) to get to the other side and we barely made the flight. They have trams but none helping you get to the other side for B and C gates. I wish they had better transport. Besides that, this airport is really great.
Matthew Arthur-Gray
Great airport that is very clean and well kept. The layout and movement within is easy to navigate. Criticism is that there are many late evening flights that depart LAS but there is very little in terms of dining or shops open past 9 pm.
Ethan Martin
I left a couple expensive things in security not paying attention (entirely my fault). I was on hold with lost and found for an hour and a half but Jonathan went out of his way to find my stuff and help me get it back. These people are awesome, if you call them looking for stuff be nice they are helpful and customer service is amazing. I would recommend putting the lost item ticket in before you call or while you are on hold so you have something to reference. Cindy got back to me right after I sent the shipping label to confirm they had it, I felt very taken care of.
Kerwin McKenzie
It's not a bad airport. It's just quite big. Get out your walking shoes as everywhere is far. High ceilings, and if you gamble, you can gamble right there. The good thing is that all gates are connected airside at the moment. Ensure you take the right Terminal though as it may take a while to get to your gate otherwise.
Lesley Cook
Huge huge thank you to Frontier representative Yolanda working at this airport. I know this is for the airport itself but Yolanda made a horrible cancellation experience tolerable with her excellent customer service and demeanor. NOT just for Frontier clients but those with Alasken airlines answering their questions and redirecting them to where they need to go. Yolanda's patience , understanding and above and beyond help for those of us that had to stand in line and wait for over an hour and those that were just plain lost needs to be recognized. We'll done Frontier and H R.I. Airport. 😉👏👍
Dee Wilson
Please add phone charging ports to the seats like Charlotte's Airport. I really enjoyed the DJ greeting us on Dec 30th. That was a welcomed surprise.
Make sure to take pictures at the ark.
Jerry McEwen
A very easy airport to get into and be picked up from. Aside from the taxi stand, there is a place for those who have someone to pick them up. It is not done at street level. Cross the pedestrian bridge to the parking lot on the same level as the bridge there is a pickup location. Let those who are picking you up know which column you are near, they are numbered.
Mark Kuehn
A very clean, well organized airport, which is something you don't see very often any more. Lots of shops no matter where your gate is. Signage is clear and concise. Even the employees are happy to help you find where you need to go.
Arman Shoraka
Just a HUGE airport. So get ready to walk. Wish all terminals has precheck at normal times of the day. Walking to the other side of the airport on a 10-15 minute detour isn’t the most pleasant experience.
Sam James
The airport is organized and has lots if food options. I would give 5 stars But the bathrooms were not clean at all,
and they kept changing the baggage claim number from 22 to 23 which caused some confusion.
Rj Long
Not my favorite airport. It's efficient enough to get you from point A to point B. They really lean into the nostalgia of Las Vegas here with history and even show the things that people often don't associate with Las Vegas. I don't know what's going on here specifically the day I was there but every bathroom I was in seemed to have some plumbing issues and it just smelled bad. TSA tries their hardest to get everyone through as quickly as possible. There's an abundance of places to eat while you wait as well. And don't forget the slot machines, they're everywhere. It's a decent spot to be passing through but like any airport not a place you want to be stuck for an extended period of time
M
How refreshing are these lively people. They always ask about your stay and are friendly to chat with. The TSA people joke and laugh with you and each other all while getting you past quickly. Very polite, well mannered individuals all around and always a great arrival and departure.
Ignacio Van Droogenbroeck
Nice airport, clean. Easy access. No too much noise. I like it.
Shawn Van Pelt
Very busy airport but they move everyone quickly. I arrived at 3am and was through security in less than 10 minutes. I always try and catch flights in the "off" hours so they are not too crowded. Rental car drop off is super easy especially in the early morning hours before traffic gets really moving. Overall, one of the better airports that I use and fairly clean with the amount of people that use this hub daily.
Kent F. Kruhoeffer
Organized and efficient with lots of food choices, casino games and plenty of charge stations for your electronic toys. Going through TSA was unusually smooth and fast. And it's one of the few airports in the U.S. with a smoking area, which doubles as a small game room.
Note: If you're taking Lyft when you arrive, follow the signs to 'Ground Transportation' all the way into the parking garage. Wait until you arrive in the parking structure, and then open your Lyft app. Worked like a charm.
Maria-Elena Leal
The most important people at the airport were (and are) Mike Johnson and Richard. I needed special help moving because recovering from knee surgery and, they went above and beyond to assist me on my arrival and while leaving Las Vegas!
Professional, nice, caring, prompt, attentive gentleman like NO OTHER
Alon Grinshpoon
This place is your classic airport! ✈️ Take offs 🛫, landings 🛬, shuttles 🚍, baggage claim, 🛄, and more. Remember to check in 24 hours before arriving. Uber/Lyft 🚖 are the fastest way to get to and from LAS but also the most pricey. They have slot machines 🎰 around the airport in classic Vegas fashion 🃏 and even indoor smoking 🚬 is allowed in some areas. They have a Shake Shack at Terminal 1 which is a great surprise finding this burger 🍔 joint on the west coast! I wish I came here more often!
Jason Garner
What's to say? One of the busiest airports in the nation. Good food offerings and power outlets in waiting areas, but seating can be limited and not so comfortable. Traffic in and out is always messy. Leave time if you're checking bags.
Linda McElroy
The airport was great. Very clean. Plenty of seating. Liked the phone & computer charging stations everywhere. Southwest agents kept everyone informed, but didn’t like the delay of over an hour - not their fault.
Deb K.
Pretty uncomplicated airport to navigate. Lot of food choices and slots where my luck is usually pretty good. I was beat up so bad at the casinos that this time I didn't play a dime at the airport -lol. But as I was getting change at a cashier booth a gentleman sitting at a penny machine hit over $26,000.00! He seemed so calm. I probably would have fainted. The airport itself was pretty busy on Veterans Day, still all was a pleasant experience.
Stevie A.
Taxis are a standard rate depending where on the strip you go, furthest north was $27. RTC public busses are easy to use and definitely a cheaper option. The stop is in terminal 1. A 3 day pass is around $20 and you can get on the bus as many times within those 3 days. The Deuce is the bus up and down the strip. Interterminal shuttle takes you from terminal 3 to 1. Everyone is very friendly and helpful if you're confused on getting around. Clean airport. Multiple bathrooms. Not as many cool food options, but you can gamble in the airport 🤷🏻♀️😅
hayley weir
Speedy security and baggage collection. Down point is the slot machines everywhere and it just feels a bit odd.
Rose Scholefield
This is a small and uncomplicated airport and I loved it. My brother was able to pick my husband and I up outside without being screamed at by the airport police, like in Chicago! This was also right outside the baggage claim area, which was convenient.
Dino Pintzopoulos
Easy to get around and lots of restaurants to pick from. Security wasn't bad to get through either. Compared to the many others I have gone through.
They could use some more of those neches with charging ports for phones and laptops though.
Of course some slots for that last second chance of luck before you fly out.
Renee Noelle
I fly a lot and am always at Harry Reid. I love it and usually have great experiences there. It's easy enough to move through and they've recently had updates and renovations that are nice and really help the flow of the airport. All in all it's cool!
Sahaj Parekh
Midsize but comparatively busy airport with plenty of restaurants. The view of Vegas from the air is incredible!
Kim Kravitz
Only airport that I seen where you can wait for your plane while you play some casino slots too. Feeling lucky? Go to Vegas🤑 …
Mange Monster
One of my quicker runs through the airport, everything went smooth and quick. TSA were helpful and respectful to my questions and helped me navigate. I'm extremely directionally challenged so their patience was appreciated.
Mark Van Drunen
Perfectly fine airport. Can’t really blame the 113° heat on the staff - LOL
I did very much appreciate the swamp coolers outside while I waited for the Lyft driver.
Also, it was rather great to have a spot to get off the airplane. So that’s cool. Thx!
Jasmyne Reid
A high rating solely because, unlike SAN, I've never had an issue with TSA. Also, although the airport is part casino, it doesn't smell like one. I can appreciate that.
Today, there was a ridiculously long line for the rental center shuttle, yet the airport staff managed it well and it wasn't an incredibly long wait (~10 minutes).
Preet Aujla
With multiple gates security check-in was quick took about 10 min. Washrooms, water fill in stations, food restaurants, Starbucks, smoke station, vip lounge, gift shops and MK.
Andie Scriven
Great airport! Staff are so helpful and positive ☺️ Clean bathrooms- a must for any woman! Anyone can come and go as you please. So different from Canada 🇨🇦 …
Jack W
During busy times traffic is slow dropping passengers off at departure terminals the airport still shows up as McCarran on some navigation apps. There are parking garages for each terminal and there are assigned spots for pickup by car services with signs directing you. Food is casual or fast with some more comfortable places. There are bars as well. Look up the airport app.
Discoverista YVR
Overall the airport is great but I had a really bad experience at the ‘Poker Face’ store at the top of the escalators.
Buyer beware. I purchased some playing cards at Poker Face for $30…. They told me they were originally $99. I walked down to another store in the airport and found them for $10.99.
I asked for a refund and they said it was not part of the store policy.
They could not show me anywhere where the price for $30 was documented. They just said the cards were ‘discounted’, but could not tell me by what %, or how the came up with the discount.
Recommendation… just look up the items online and make sure you negotiate the price. These guys are definitely inflating their prices by a very significant amount.
Elizabeth Cutright
There’s an assortment of shops and eats including a bagel shop which smells divine. A well appointed, but small airport with efficient security lines. One less star because I visited on Thanksgiving and the airport was at max capacity.
Graham Family
Kinda dirty restrooms, little bugs flying around near food areas. I like the little casino areas, and smoking areas. Doesn't feel very clean overall. Not sure many airports are but coming out of the covid Era, you would think it was a little cleaner to make people feel safe. Even if we are all going to be trapped in a plane breathing eachothers air for hours. Give us the illusion of safety is all I ask for haha.
Steven Cordrey
For a major airport it still maintains its cleanliness and functional ability it's always been a very efficient airport
Marcel Solomon
This airport is great. There is usually someone working near by to point you in the right direction. And in the day the shopping and food options are amazing five star stuff for sure. Also one of the few airports I've been to that have slot machines so if you gamble there's that too.
Jonathan Tyson
Accidentally left bear spray in my backpack before going through TSA. Security was patient and respectful while trying to figure out whether or not I'm a public safety risk. Otherwise, it's an airport. Easy to navigate, decent variety of food and shops. I'm probably on a list now
Zach Jensen
Wednesday's around 5am there is no line through TSA. Walked right through!
Elizabeth Martinez
A+ They have sleep rooms avail for quick nap or layover. Lots to do there. Only wished there was a cheaper simpler way to get to the strip. It seems so close, why can’t I walk there.
Latoya Jenkins
Employees were friendly. My only issue, the signage was terrible. No one could give us the right area to catch public transit upon arrival. Local residents gave us great information to maneuver. But on the flight out, they processed the extremely long lines very quickly. TSA was great.
Christine Bierdrager
Be prepared for long lines to get the rental car shuttle. Add an extra hour. There was also a massive line to get through TSA but it moved quickly. All told, it would have been quicker to drive from Ontario, CA, than to fly to LAS, and then we would not have over $100 per day for rental car on top of it. All flights were completely full.
t grey
Not many places to plug in and charge at gates, so recharge ahead of time.
Security was quick and painless. Took 10 minutes, even with shoes and belt coming off...
Learn something from this Hartsfield Atlanta, over an hour in security and that was without having to "disrobe"!
jeanettesdaughter
Vast. Similar to Hartsfield Jackson in Atlanta but with a strangely circular configuration to the terminals. There’s a tram that actually takes you over the interstate and back into another terminal to exit. You walk a lot as well and there are Casino machines everywhere. Clutch your cash. The house always wins. On the good foot, I actually found staff who helped me find my baggage and navigate out to Partner Pick Up. Have someone meet you who knows the airport, city and it’s idiosyncrasies!
Ron Lawrence
Easy in, easy out. Even got to get in some last minute gambling on the slots while we were there. As we were leaving, you get an amazing view of the city of Las Vegas, the mountains that backdrop the city, and just a few minutes from the airport we had a great view of the Hoover Dam, followed up a few minutes later by a great view of the Grand Canyon! It's not often you fly out of an airport that offers so much to enjoy from the air!
Denise Thomas
Las Vegas is so fun. The airport was nice. Not much of a wait to get our luggage and the taxi cabs were waiting for everyone. They also has limo service outside. Going to have some fun.
Luis del Valle
Easy access, easy to navigate through, comfortable.
The shuttle service from the car rental to the airport needs a lot of attention. It took almost 30 min to be able to board the bus to go to the terminal
Julie Carlin
My husband & I landed @ your beautiful airport yesterday. We had a prepaid transport to our hotel . The representative of the company we used proved to be a little sketchy. Thanks to Luis Santana, who was working the traffic post at pick up area, we averted what could have easily been a bad situation. I would like to thank Officer Santana for going above & beyond & assuring we got to our hotel safely. Thanks. Jim & Julie Carlin. Ohio, USA
Tristan YS
Mixed review mostly based on my recent airport experiences (good this time) there were no lines at TSA when I went this time and it took me a total of 10 minutes to get to my gate after arriving, which is amazing considering most times, tsa's taken 30 minutes to complete. My bad experiences are partially my fault for arriving at the airport 5 minutes before boarding, but busy traffic and being stuck behind endless people doesn't help.
Sherry White
Nice small airport, everything is small compared to Atlanta. I was in and out quickly. The elevators and escalators can be tricky. Just focus on the door number to take your where you need to go.
Matt Tibbs
Nice airport to fly through. Plenty of casino games to play within the airport and a large variety of food.
Linda Benthall Zelnik
This airport is huge. Leave time for security and walking to your gate. Security line was looking long and an agent directed us to a lesser known checkpoint speeding up entry by a long shot.
Word to the wise. Frontier announcements were very hard to hear. Almost missed boarding and the staff made me pay for the same backpack Spirit had let me carry on for free.
B Rayl
I have flown in and out of here a lot, because I have a daughter who lives nearby. While I don't gamble at all, therefore don't like the gambling machines...I like everything else. Security was a breeze at 8:40 pm. It is way better than the new Billions of dollars albatross they have constructed in SLC near my home! Happy travels. I really like the passenger pick up area at terminal 1. There is a lot of room to spread out with many benches to sit on while waiting for your ride.
Logan Pederson
Security was very fast in terminal 3. The terminal was modern and clean. There was an alarm that was going off for about 45 minutes that was very annoying. Other than that I had a great experience traveling through Harry Reid terminal 3
Olivia Y.
It’s a very unique airport in that you can actually gamble on-site. Unfortunately; even designated smoking areas don’t stop the airport from smelling like cigarettes wherever you walk. It’s a small airport; everything was on time; there was a good selection of shops and food. This airport is a good experience for the most part. I think the proximity to the strip is very cool because you’re right there, able to see everything.
Eddie
Great airport! There is an underground tram between the terminals and D gates. It's a multi-level airport with a few intersections. Just look for the information kiosks and keave a few extra minutes to get oriented now and then.
erly guardamano
First Time that Ive been to McCarran International Airport now Harry Reid International Airport, Las Vegas,
I was so amazed because it is huge, beautiful and colorful. Im so happy and will keep on coming back.
Been there Feb, April, Sept 2019
More Power and God bless
Raul Bravo
Lots of places to see, eat, and shop while you wait for your flight. However at around 11pm most places are closed but don’t be worried they have vending machines. Great clean airport!
Heather Orgeron
The airport was fine. You know you are in Vegas when there are casino games lining the walls. The bathroom was extremely dirty and much of the airport was too. It all looked grimey. I used Bell Shuttle. The shuttle picked us up after waiting outside for about 10 min and we waited in the car about 10 min...overall not bad. I did pre-purchase the shuttle.
Shukhrat Maks
Clean airport and easy navigation. The only lack with TSA workers. We were traveling with toddler and agent would not let go through baby bottle with clear water, made us to empty outside and go around. So if you traveling with baby and toddlers make sure you are not bringing baby bottles even if it's clear water.
Michael K
Lots of people coming and going . Las Vegas is well on its way back. The city is alive and almost at 100% the airport seems to be keeping up just fine. All the restaurants are busy and all the staff seem be in a good mood to be busy. Taxi and limos available no problem. Enjoy life go fly n see the world. #dontbeafraid
Kathryn Romine
Its Vegas.
Surprisingly I expected it to be more grand. I was also surprised to see historical records of how the airport came to be in the area upstairs.

Probably my favorite .
Airport waiting.
Not much seating, dirty and outdated areas. Employees and business owners were nice.
We ate at the shake shack. 20 min wait in line. Again not many areas to sit especially with 50% seating closed in waiting area.
Airport was easy to get through. Ofcourse the airline security bag check and personal space invasion area is always NOT FUN . They never smile, not very polite and act like your trying to sneak something through. Pretty soon they will have us down to our under garments while hearding us through like cattle and scanning us with electromagnetic device. Haha
We flew on Spirit as it was the only reasonable time to fly out under $500 a ticket. Pass on that if you get a chance.
Somehow they got the green light to fill every single seat on the plane. While charging a la cart. And they mean it. $125 just for a ticket.+ $25 for each seat +$41 for a checked bag or $51 for a carry on. Yup you heard that right! +Charge for Water, and probably the cup and ice.
Also while flying in a packed sardine can from Vegas we got to enjoy all the hungover passengers as well as the newly drunk who didn't want to wear masks or wear them properly.
Dont fly Spirit unless you dont care.
Sorry not sorry. It's for a certain type of flyers.
Nick
I had a 54 minute layover here that got delayed.i was supposed to depart at 11:00 pm but instead i departed at 7am. I spent 9 hours in this airport. The slot machines were great to kill some time. They allowed smoking in the slots room that is open 24/7. Overall Harry Reid airport turned a terrible situation into a good one. I also won $50. Thanks Las Vegas!!!!
Lily J. Noonan
It seems my gate is always the last one in the terminal but I appreciate the smoking lounges with gambling. The escalators are filthy and slightly sticky and not much is open if you have a 5am flight.
However if you want to come to Las Vegas, this is the airport if you're flying commercial.
Elizabeth Burr
The TSA is well organized, which is a major plus. The signage could be a little better. I had to ask for directions to my gate because the sign by the escalators was too small. The water fountain by my gate was broken, so I chose to skip having water on my flight rather than wander a busy airport to try to find some. There's not much seating space at the gates, and there's not much to do here but gamble and shop if you have a layover.
Gee Ross
Easy access and not complicated to find your gate. The men's restroom on D concourse smells like it has never been clean. I like KLAS for its ease of use or it could be this 6am flight!
Joe Schmid
Airport Manager: Bus service to the city only leaves from Terminal 1. Please post this on your ground transportation signs especially for terminal 3 passengers who will take the correct train or have to take the free terminal bus to get to terminal 1 if they find themselves outside of security. There was not a single staff person in the arrivals hall of terminal 3 nor did the terminal 3 information desk person suggest this when I asked about the bus fare ($2 and you can pay cash on the bus).
Have some empathy for travelers both airside and in ticket area. Turn down the music volume overnight and in the very early morning and perhaps choose something relaxing rather than concert level music better yet or turn it off completely. This airport currently acoustically assaults travelers.
TSA was smooth and courteous.
Extend the monorail to the airport.
Otherwise if you have the need to gamble you have arrived!
Jason Hu
I can’t say I particularly enjoy this airport. You got to take a tram from here to there, you got to take a shuttle to the car rental. Everything is so spread apart and nothing rubs on time. However food is cheaper here and it is relatively clean.
brooke Floyd
Having never been to an airport at a large city, it's huge. Be prepared to walk, and get stopped by other people looking at the various stores and restaurants on either side. All the workers seemed nice in my limited interactions, even the security staff.
Steven Spearman
Overall, a pretty nice airport experience. Made it through TSA in the early morning in about 4 minutes. Major weakness was not having any lounge or almost any food vendors open on the E concourse in the early morning.
Suzy Deutch
Picking passengers at the pick up point. Has to be a better way. People, cars and trucks. Unsafe for all concerned. On a good note, the safety workers at that point are wonderful. They're doing a great job!!!
Koi
Amazing staff, always ready with information. Huge air port, but simple to navigate.
Bryce Daugherty
Great staff everywhere I went. Don't love the general public but, eh, what can you do? Thanks for the free wifi. Prices for anything inside blow but once again, what can you expect? I enjoyed my trip overall at the airport
Mike Hartshorn
Airport was extremely busy but check-in TSA, and boarding was easy. We flew at 7:10am and I do advise arriving at least 2 hours early for stress free travel.
Jason P
I've traveled to/through many, many airports. LAS Airport is the best as far as entertainment if you have a layover. That being said, they should really add a secure route between terminals so one does not need to go back through security when transferring from Gate A, B, or C to D or E.
Elizabeth Frazier
Just like any other major airport! All the same crowds and amenities! I live here so it's close to me and easy to access. Traffic isn't as bad as in some big cities.
Bill Walz
Nice pretty easy to get around. Lines at rental car shuttle can get long but move quickly. When lining up figure station 1,2 for first bus 3,4 second bus and so on.
Kevin Belden
Frequent traveler and this airport is deceptive. It looks nice and clean and has flashy gaming all over but you better plan ahead. Getting to and from the rental car center 15-30 min depending on when. Check in is almost all kiosk with bag drop so if you need to actually go to the counter plan for extra time, security is poorly ran by TSA, Sat after Thanksgiving in the AM there was one or two open scanners, lines were 2+ hours. Frankly it was negligent on TSA part. Night before, slow, not many in TSA line, still a long wait, 30 min or so. Many people are missing flights due to TSA.
Plan for extra time then add in an extra hour.
Oh but if you are priority plus, TSA Pre-Check and Clear…boom 15 min from check in to thru security.
Like Vegas this airport is the land of haves and have nots.
Nancy Renaud
Airport was very clean. Most people were friendly. Flew Westjet and their staff could use a refresher in hospitality. Scanners for tickets were down ..had to find this out ourselves from another traveller NOT from any staff.
Gina Williams
Left my wallet at the baggage carousel didn't realize this until I'm at the Uber pickup on level three. After calling security my wallet was found and every dollar was accounted. Cannot say enough to describe the ease, efficiency and joy to serve from everyone.
Mirko Frind
Perfect! Real easy to arrive and getting picked up and also easy for departure. I flight with 2 different Airlines and all worked out perfect. I love the baggage check-in direct at the jump off area.
If you arent enough gambled, try ur luck here, dome slots are here to find.
TSA was easy and fast! Perfect airport.
Benz Culbertson
This airport is a blast. There are slot machines everywhere and even an area where you can smoke cigarettes. As soon as you get off the plane you know you are in Vegas. The only complaint is this airport is known to have runway delays for takeoff. I took a 2 hour nap on the plane and we hadn't even left yet! Security was alright but there was a long TSA precheck line.
David Szeto
Short but friendly staffed in a Starbucks bc waited over an hour for my peppermint mocha. There was a long line I was apart of and others waited long for their mobile orders as well. Some complained they waited over 15 min for their mobile order but those on line like me waited 45 minutes or more. Hope they get more staffing.
My gate change from D26 to somewhere in E10. Maybe if there was an obvious monitor I can look at before I was behind would be ideal. I must have missed it somehow.
At D26, a lady on duty wearing a visibility vest was on her cell phone while I was talking to another lady who was on her video call about not moving over or even leave the counter to give space while I talk to a representative to check the right gate. It could've been avoided if the lady heard me say excuse me and whoever that was on duty to get off her cell phone before having the audacity to judge me for being rude. I'm just in a hurry. It's not like I pushed or stepped on anybodys stuff to make room for me. Besides the person on the computer helping me, the other two ladies were unprofessional and things could've been avoided especially when one is on duty but stuck on a cell phone. I can tell both wanted their voices heard which I can normally respect but its a good thing so early in the am the crowd wasnt in the mood. To me, both were rude but I'm in a hurry to catch my flight so I didn't want to get stuck around arguing whose right as I grab my stuff to leave. This all happened on November 18 at 5 am.
Really not looking forward to deal with two bullies so early and explaining why to heavy cell phone users. I use my cell phone sometimes when I'm bored but I cannot understand how people can get so into it and not notice a part of their surroundings in such a brief moment.
Jainif Marediya
Decent airport but you would think the Vegas airport would be a bit more flashy and new
Gilbert Espinoza
I flew in and out of Harry Reid Intl Airport this week. Neither of the times did I find it overly crowded. Going through TSA on a early Friday afternoon was not bad at all. Which you can imagine I was gladly surprised about.
Kyla Burton
I am a 38 year resident of Las Vegas and have watched this city grow with all its good and bad including our airport. Never had any complaints except for its massive size but we flew into Vegas via Spirit Airlines the other day. Arriving in terminal One we were shocked. There were people everywhere, floors the trash cans were overflowing, the air wasn't working; it was surprising. Once we exited terminal One everything went back to normal. I've always been proud of LV and
was surprised to see the terminal in such disarray. Hopefully things will get back to normal soon.
Nicole Prince
A very poor airport. TSA the speediness and friendliness of security is great but incoming or leaving the signage is not clear. Do not plan to eat whe waiting for your plane as the options are lack-luster.
Kin Folk
Very nice employees.
But this KAREN that work for TSA is the most miserable and rudest people I have encountered in my life. The Tsa must be really struggling to hire female employees
Kevin D
Security screening could have been better. We went through the precheck lane where they didn't provide us with gray bins for our belongings to go through the x-ray. My wife's purse fell over in there and her watch fell where the two conveyors meet. The TSA agent seemed annoyed that we asked them to look for it. There was a small pile of belongings under there so we weren't the only ones to lose something.
Dirk Tijssen
Nice small airport, everything you need and helpfull staff
Pam Johansen
LAS airport is unique, yet easy to navigate. Pro tip - Terminal 3 is a lot less busy than Terminal 1 (main terminal). If you don't have checked bags - consider entering (smaller TSA queue) or exiting through T3 for pickup - tons less traffic.
Emily M
This airport is incredibly busy and the line for TSA was soooo long I thought was going to be stuck there forever. But it actually went rather quickly. And of course there a tons of slot machines to keep people occupied while waiting for flights.
Vincent Matheney
For being Las Vegas I find it pretty lack luster compared to other major airports I have been in. Seems a bit dated in some areas. Other areas like baggage are more what I would expect throughout. And don't get me started with the rental car situation. Completely ridiculous that it is separated from the main airport. How inconvenient!
JAMROCK ROYALTY
The check-in process is very effective but the TSA search needs to be more organized. The lines were messy and people didn't know which line to go in. However, staff were very helpful and that's from the moment you enter the airport.
Lenny Leger
Very friendly and efficient airport with many shops and eateries. Has contained smoking lounges with its own machines to expend the last of your loose changes.
BTW, went thru TSA in 10 minutes but also arrived early.
Jakob Tveen
Nice and clean.
Very easy access between terminals.
Friendly and helpful staff at check in.
Kevin Stephens
Allegiant air service was great as usual. However, 2 other issues that were not so great:
1. TSA approved locks were removed by TSA and not returned/no note placed in bag? Read reviews from others and this is known issue. Just wish I had locks back.
2. Bathrooms were absolutely filthy, however this is LV, so not very surprised.
Gabe Thomas
Busy but functional. TSA did a good job getting us all through in a timely fashion. FYI try to show up at least two hours before your boarding time.
Melva Doyle
Over all the airport itself was nice. Layout was convenient and easy to navagate. Employees were very helpful. However my gate, A17, was very dirty, trash everywhere...
Qihua M
We followed Santa to Vegas in Xmas Eve. Tons of people arriving at midnight!
7Ann7 Seven
Very nice, clean atmosphere- views...
Get here early and enjoy mountain views.
Angela Brewer
Had a wheelchair. The person who escorted me to the gate was awesome! He not only talked me through my fears, but was great company. Others had passed me by. He was due to clock out but took me to the gate. I appreciate his making my time at Harry Reid worthwhile.
Char Adagala
Very chaotic. The airport it is too large and disorganized. This is not my first time going through and every time I've been through they've been super aggressive about checking people's personal bags to make sure they fit the proper size. I have never ever been to another airport that does that and I literally travel all this time. In addition to them checking bags aggressively, the airport is very confusingly labeled. There are long lines for everything but not good crowd control. For the first time in my life I also had to stand in line for CLEAR. People were getting confused between the TSA precheck line and CLEAR. It was very overstimulating going through the airport with all the slot machines and they just randomly changed our gate and did not announce it. Luckily the other date was okay but still very annoying.
The common courtesies I'm used to at other airports apparently don't apply here either. People don't pull down their trays so that other people can get their stuff coming out of the scanner. People don't stand to the right on the escalator so that people can walk up the left. Coming from DC, these are normal things.
Dave Broux
20 minutes from our hotel mandaly bay cost taxi $21 plus tip. Dropped off out side our airline. Check in took about 10 minutes as there was a flight delay. The check in attend book us on a new flight. The was a long queue for security checks up to 30 to 45 minutes. There are plenty of shops and eateries. Bottles caps are removed before service. Toilets are clean. There are plenty on seating areas. There is a smoking area, can be very smokie. Free Wi-Fi. A lot places are only taking cards as payment.
Joys Dallas
Always a great experience. Fastest airports lines.
sabrina bayha
Checking in and out was easy. Boarding easy. Flight attendants were fun and helpful. Bathrooms were clean. I made it home safe, life is good.
Lindsey D
Wonderful service at ticket services, quick and efficient bag check. Tsa only had one precheck line and the line was almost as long as the normal passenger line which had more than 5 lanes open. Precheck should be priority since it is paid for.
Les-S-More W
TSA was inconsistent with items that could pass. I feel like the agents were looking to take items from people. I have been robbed before and that’s exactly what it felt like and that lead to me and my fiancé missing our flight.
Vaishali Karulkar
Its a extremely busy airport. We had been to the domestic Terminal. For the amount of traffic/people, it seemed a bit cramped. We traveled by SouthWest Airline, the staff was efficient n flights were on time. So overall good.
Todd Elliott
Nice, huge, clean airport. Easy to get around, even though it is so large. Too many slot machines, in my opinion, but it is Vegas. Lots of seating in the waiting areas.
Bill G
Busy airport but they manage to keep it all moving.
Andrew W
It is a great airport if you are familiar with it. A Wells Fargo bank in the terminal is a nice feature. If you have clear and TSA precheck going through Gates Cand D and walk back to A and B. The rental car shuttle is somewhat time-consuming and the AmEx centurion lounge is overcrowded.
nunya biznes
Very easy airport to navigate. Got through security quickly.
Gregory Yuh
Decent airport. Shuttle is a bit confusing and I wish there were more sit-down restaurants. Lots of traffic at pickup and drop offs so you'll have to look carefully before stepping off from a taxi or uber
jeff dunn
Went very smooth this year. One tsa agent even had a big smile on his face and was super friendly and happy to be there. You NEVER EVER see that in a tsa agent. Glad we weren't leaving there on the Sunday b4 Halloween cuz they were lined up by possibly a thousand people. Think some of them may have missed there flight?
Greg Evans
Crazy way to take a flight somewhere! Even followed Google Maps and it led me to the wrong location. I was looking for Passenger Pickup and it took me the tour bus,cab and limo area. Wrong level, wrong side just wrong. I usually know how and where to go in but since this was my first time in over a decade that I had been there I followed Maps and had my friend waiting for 20min. Luckily they were cool cause they know it's janky.
Danny Stanger
nice, clean airport with a lot of dining choice. And a lot of slot machines, if you're into that. just know that if you have to charge your device, you're probably screwed, there are barely any places to do it.
Sandra Lourence
Spirit air line is not the way to go canceled flight didn't offer us anything had to buy tickets on another air line. No call to let us know I've been canceled. They weren't very friendly. We had two reservations hotel in the show that we had to get a flight for we would have missed or missed out on a lot of money as it is we did spend a lot more money than expected. Not done yet going to keep complaining a phone call would have been nice since we live quite a ways away from the airport. And time enough to make other arrangements. I understand that the weather can be bad sometimes better phone calls pretty easy
Charles Rand
With the exception of a few angry sleepy travelers everything is fine. The place is always clean and easy to get around. Security lines were smooth.
Wesley Zloza
Navigating between the different terminals can get confusing but overall it's not a bad airport. There are good food options like Jamba Juice, Jersey Mike's, etc. There is also an indoor smoking area which is helpful for those who need it.
Vivian Pitts
Traffic was a bit hectic outside the airport but no more than usual.
The staff was friendly and efficient.
There are slot machines throughout the airport as well as a variety of shops and places to eat to choose from.
D Ashford
This is by far the best airport I have been to in a long time. It was very crowded I reprimed at 4:30 a.m. and they were already a thousand people in line. But the TSA at this airport is the best and they are very fast efficient and polite. I enjoyed flying out in Las Vegas because it's time to go home!?
Kevin Astrup
Fast and efficient screening. Food options are not very healthy. The bathrooms in the southwest terminals are always dirty and need more frequent cleaning.
Jc Forster
It’s an air port! It’s a big air port. It’s pretty. Got my flight, no delays. No drama really. Every one got along fine. The flight crew was very professional.
I don’t fly often so this was something of an adventure. One that I hope to be able to repeat.
James Lew
The signage needs to be a little better to direct for arrivals and departures.
A bit hectic getting through screening, it could use more screeners and better organization. More signs to get passengers ready for screening would greatly improve efficiency.
Dwight Finney
Easy in and easy boarding. Gates clearly marked and the bathrooms were clean. For an international airport, this one is very uncomplicated!! #nofeartravel
Linda Cervantes
It was a very nice Airport had a chance to plat on the slot machines while waiting for our flight and won $150. Not bad for my first time flying. Thank you.
Kenneth “Knowledge” Mcroy
You dont need to go far to find a casino in vegas just get off the plane.
Christopher Tierney
Ride share drop-off, curb-side baggage collection, TSA, and gate were excellent. Almost no wait anywhere. However, restrooms were in shambles with major plumbing issues.
Coffee On Da House
Security was quick
SW bag lines were quick'r
Full bird...baby! One Seven 5
Smooth take off and landing!
Southwest front desk, baggage logistics, flight crew and TSA checkpoint security: Shout-outs and many thanks.
Bryan Smith
GREAT experience here most recently March 17th (annual March Madness) trip. Southwest was fantastic as always. Security was lightning fast and I got through with no issues. This visit the TSA was friendly! Thanks for having me
I will Return!
Respectfully,
Bryan

It's much bigger than EP airport.
SWA crew were absolutely wonderful, caring, & patient angels. The pilot was soooooo kind, helping push mom's wheelchair to the unexpected change of planes @ LV and a totally different gate. Thank goodness the crew was going to the same gate. Once we arrived to SNA once again we were provided excellent CS. Even the young man that took care of us by pushing the WC was courteous and ever so careful. Thus far this is a great start to our stay in Anaheim.
Jacob Kuca
TSA lines literally like 2 minutes. They don’t make you jump through a bunch of hoops. I’m used to 50min TSA lines (in seattle) so this was a fantastic experience.
Connie Horn
The airport was very clean a lot of nice stores and restaurants I will give that five stars but as far as the TSA check out team if I could I will give them
zero stars a very unorganized group of people.
Temoc
The E section had/has so many establishments closed or with limited hours of operation.
Scober Beer
Expanding always, but confusing with the terminal layouts and no quick connect between terminals. Bus connect between terminals with main pickups still at terminal 1....
TSA was quick enough, but I'm spoiled from LAX's speed and fast process.
Julie Martin
Easy to get through. No delays, in fact we were about 5 minutes early boarding. Lots of places to grab a bite to eat or a snack for the trip.
Isaac LaR
Nice airport with a great layout and slot machines on every corner. We had a 4 hour layover to deal with so I got to walk the entire airport, one thing I wish McCarran had is more window seating and less slot machines and gambling. But it’s Vegas so don’t be surprised 😂 …
Mike Walsh
Well organised, plenty of facilities, lots of table surfaces to work or play on computers etc. security screening very efficient and safe. A good place to come and go from. Others take note please.
Ronnie Lynch
Even with construction this is a very efficient airport. Getting through security is as good as it can be considering the dolts that work for the TSA.
McCarren is very clean and has a good choice of restaurants and shops.
David Reader
Easy to get around, but the first time it seems a little intimidating. Be prepared to walk at the baggage carousel as there are so many. The concourses have lots of choices, but not many for early full breakfast. Quick bites throughout.
Jen H
The terminal and TSA were actually quite good. Nice people. It was the people lying all around near the restrooms that made me a little uncomfortable. It seemed a little odd.
Maria C
Very clean, easy to navigate, a lot to do and see while you wait for your flight!
They have a layered cake vending machine🤯, with daily delivery of multiple flavors!
You might not even need to leave the airport to have fun in Vegas, several areas of slot machines and even a designated smoking slot area.
Google User
Extremely dirty in some places. Bathroom's are bad at the time I went through a few during my layover. Maybe it's just the time I passed through.
ray miller
My favorite airport of all time. The moment you get off the plane and see the slots and drink stands . You know you've arrived in adult heaven. Lots to offer here and friendly and knowledgeable staff everywhere. Food is excellent. The shopping is terrific. The airport is super clean and easy to get around. Whether you fly in, fly out or have a lay over. Vegas baby
Cory Lewis
T1 is decent, it's just a bit confusing entering passenger pickup from short term parking, then going up a level, all the way back and downstairs again to check baggage, then back up to go through security. T3 is set up SO much better!
Tom BMN
Quite a nice airport with this typical Vegas Feelin‘. Gambling is possible, Organisation is good, the queues are not too long. Good but way to expensive Beverages/food behind the safety - as in other airports as well. Drop off at terminal 3 (which is where I departed) is uncomplicated.
Ray Benegas
Great airport! Pay attention to the trains for baggage claim!
Mach
Terminal 1 can be rather confusing, I would recommend giving yourself an extra 10m, just in case you get lost. The TSA is really fast so you don't usually have to wait too long.
Brad Dufaud
TSA agent at station 7, around 1:40 PM, 28 Oct 2022 when you enter security-one of the rudest TSA agents I have encountered. Told him I had 2 boarding passes on my phone, one for me and one for my brother. He asked me 3 times if I was more than one person, smirk on his face. My first response was, "pardon me"? Second response was an incredulous look, third time he asked, I said "no, I am one person." Then he asked me how many ID's I have to clarify that I am only one person. He wasn't trying to be funny, hence the smirk on his face. Some people are naturally unfriendly and want to make things difficult. Is it any wonder TSA has such a bad reputation? It's events like this that ruin their name ruin it for the fine TSA agents who are there to help and keep things safe.
daniel eke
The sweet winds of Las Vegas and the great aura of happy moments did not leave the airport. I am glad one can feel the touch of Las Vegas regardless of not being on the strip
Susan Allen
Terminal 1 is easy to navigate. Places to eat but could be more of them. Always clean. Bright. Charging stations.
Joel Tourigny
Large airport, easy to navigate with tons of choices for food and shopping while waiting. There's tons of slot machines and video poker to pass the time as well.
Ruben S Perales Jr
Very friendly atmosphere at OTG sat down had a meal before boarding my flight very friendly staff had a couple cold ones and was on my way before i knew it. Didn't feel like an unscheduled 2 hr layover....
LeRoy Perkins
Even though it's a pretty big airport but it is very easily to get around. Be careful because of slot machines everywhere. Lol there maybe some in the bathrooms.
Conny Tångring
It's an airport. And like many others, standing in line is part of it. Long lines to security but they moved fast. That's more than you can say about check-in. Spent over an hour in a line moving at snail speed.
Scipio Cowan
The Airport was absolutely packed but they had an amazing system and even though the lines were long it was almost like we were running up to the security checkpoint! Amazing job!
FD De Vera
Its a large busy airport. We had to board in 20 mins but we made it in time. The tsa staff are Very efficient.
Deepak Sethi
Fairly convenient airport with lots of options for local transportation and quiet a lot of flight connectivity as well with fairly decent fairs. It does get pretty busy due to jig tourist crowds but thankfully security lines move thru at a decent pace.
There are slot machines at a few spots for that last minute gambling :) also noticed quiet a lot of designer shops inside the airport itself. Food options aren't that bad either. Since it's a bigger airport with trams connecting to different gates, its probably wise to have that extra time in hand to catch your flight.
lanikai twister
Overhead street signs are helpful leading you to the correct location whether you are looking for departure or arrivals.
Arrival pillars are clearly marked, making it easier for those doing the pick-up to locate their party.
Aj Atkinson
I didn't even get off the plane!
However, the views both during landing and take off are beautiful. Didn't have to leave the plane to take in some sights.
Keaton Corder-Swanson
Always busy, but a good spot to hangout and eat during a layover
Juan Rodriguez
Its Vegas! Busy as was expected... Still seems odd to have slots at the airport. In the terminal, at baggage claim, then onto the hotels. As far as the airport easy to navigate and decently clean
Blaine
Easy layout and lots of shops/restaurants' within each gate location's
Trav S
The airport was great however, the WestJet agents were complete idiots and had no idea what they were talking about. Thankfully the TSA agents were close by and actually gave us the accurate info.
Roy Holmes
Really nice airport. Extremely large but very easy to maneuver around. Pretty good amenities like charging stations, great restaurants, trams to help you get around and breast feeding and baby changing suites( not stations but suites...lol). But you have to be careful because they have slot machines which can be very tempting while you wait for your flight...lol
Donald Gardner
Well laid out. Security not too bad, but TSA-pre will get you through very quickly. Lots of food choices.
Marty McCune
Would it hurt to fix the T3 automatic walkway to the garage (it's been broken all year) and maybe clean the parking garage elevators every couple months?
At least the terminal is on good condition.
Gina Del Mastro
pretty straight forward airport. good restaurants and food/snack options. tsa can be hit or miss as far as business so plan to get there a little early
Mallesh B
Maintenance is poor... trash everywhere near the seating area. All the seating areas are equipped with charging stations. Food options are very limited. Water stations are available for refills. Have several slot machines if you wanna try your luck.
Moe Money
This trip was absolutely amazing. I landed very late in the evening and was under the impression that I would not be Able to find food or have fun so late at night. I was completely wrong. As soon as I walked off the plane I started noticing beautiful scenery. I walk down through the airport I saw slot machines, Cool restaurants, nice shops, And a bunch of people ready to have a great time. Walking through the airport was very easy. I used the signs inside to find out where to go To claim all of my bags. At the baggage claim there wasAnd there was signs and fliers of weird to party and great restaurants to die that as well. My bags came out very quickly which made me super excited. I thought about taking a Uber to my hotel but it was on a different level. Instead of taking the Uber like I originally planned something told me to get inside of a limousine instead. The limousine ride was so awesome!! I actually told the driver to take the long way around so I could take in the street before I got back to my hotel. Everybody was just so friendly and energetic as soon as I got my hotel out to wind down I immediately went back out to every club that I could find open. In the city of Vegas really caters very well to outside gas. felt like I was receiving the red carpet experience from the moment my plane landed in Las Vegas. The whole city really embraced myself in all of those I traveled with perfectly. I actually ended up extending my stay in Las Vegas because I was having so much fun. Fremont Street, the Las Vegas strip, the casinos and shopping centers surrounding the city, all offer something unique and special. The food was great every where we went. The atmosphere of the city as a whole makes me want to move here. I will certainly be back very very soon.
Stephen Cann
Great airport to both connect through and fly out of. Wide open layout with a great choice of food and drink, beautiful scenery and friendly staff. Plus you can gamble and smoke which is hard to find anymore. 5 stars.
Stephnie McGhee
What a nightmare trying to park. Google maps was terrible.
The airport itself is fine. Parking fees were ridiculous.
I'm sure we'll be back even through all the bad.
Solofemalehiker38
Was easy for me to get to where I needed to be. The gate displays are up front. My flight was early so there were no security lines. Security at this airport does a thorough job and my unopened food was checked, so make sure you give yourself time to get checked through security. It's been a while since I had been at this airport and it looked totally different since last being there maybe 10yrs or so ago.
Dave Brundy
Beautiful, efficient one of the nicest and largest airports! Friendly, great first impression to Vegas! Plenty of food outlets, bars gifts and yes even slots... Very beautiful and spacious!
Sarah Bouc
This airport is only four miles from the strip. Generally it is very clean. There are only a few charging stations amongst the seating area. There are more charging stations that are at bar type areas. There are limited food selections per gate area without walking a while. Of course there are a lot machines throughout the airport.

My port for the last 14 years. My gateway to the world. 6 of the 7 continents visited started here. All of the construction over the last few years along with opening of T3 have greatly improved this awesome facility. Easy fast security lines, lots amenities. Get past any gate and you have access to all gates all terminals. One of most fabulous airports servicing the world. Nearly 50 million visitors a year to Vegas, a massive portion of them flow through here. Glad to call this place HOME 🏡❤.

Very clean, not too many food options but enough to get a bite between flights.

If you go to LAS MKT get a Flatbread and not a stale salad. Not recommended
Rental shuttle was definitely better from the rental center than to.
