The people who work there are friendly & I am sure underpaid and/or appreciated. There seems to be a lot of management changes and so it's a little inconsistent but it's usually well stocked with what it does have. This is a place for bare essentials, it is not a "ooh, look what I find at a DG" type store. It is a valued neighborhood store, despite the small issues. -The milk delivery is the least reliable or is always under ordered.

Been coming here frequently since I moved to this neighborhood. They always have what I need and all the staff who I've dealt with are super friendly. It's great to have this store nearby!

Very clean and organized store. Cassidy was AMAZING. So helpful and provided excellent customer service. There is a DG a couple blocks from my house, but I'd make the longer trip to this store for future shopping.

Great bargains on stuff like reading glasses. Hmmm $20 at Walgreens or Meijer, $1 here. Ditto stuff like household/paper, etc. Only negative was a long wait, one cashier, long line of customers. Poor thing was trying her best, just needed a partner. Check ‘em out!

This was my first time purchasing from this store and was very pleased to find that the soap I needed was in stock!! I've been searching online for the soap I needed, and Dollar General popped up; never thought this store even sell soap. I had misgivings when I walked up to the store because the entryway is painted black...black is not an inviting color for a store, but the service was awesome!!! I will be going back...

I really like this store! They always seem to have their stock put away and not hangin out in the isles and when I was in yesterday Krystal was an absolute sweetheart to me! I would highly recommended this store to friends and family!

Was told they have Western Union quick Collect or whatever the bill pay system is and i get all the way there and the staff had no idea what i was even talking about. Nor did he even attempt to inquire further

I found the staff very helpful at this location. The store was undergoing some changes when I visited, but the lady behind the counter knew exactly what I was looking for and was super helpful and friendly. I recommend this location of Dollar General.

I shop there monthly. I like the Leonard store; it carries items for $1, much less expensive than other shops. Friendly staff. Helpful in locating merchandise.

The state street dollar general is closed for a long time in fact the time remains a mystery but my guess it will be closed for less then a million years, lol.

This was by far the most clean and organized Dollar General I have ever been to. The staff was so friendly and welcoming I will definitely be returning to this location.

Store was fairly clean. They have a frozen section, a decent card section, medications, pretty much all the quick essentials you may need.

Clean and cool. Cigs, snacks, and trinkets as far as the eye can see. Have select items to keep you clean when ur super dirty. When card reader is down Cigs Boy is there to be a real real man.
