Nice little airport with a couple of places to eat and shop. Restrooms were clean. There is parking nearby. The one baggage claim carousel is downstairs. I waited about 20 minutes for my luggage. Not many hiccups in this small airport. The only issue I had was with the rental car area. You have to take a shuttle to the rental car area. They were super slow and I had to wait about 30 minutes for a car. I got the car with everything on and it took me a good 20 minutes to get things right. Leaving the airport is a bit confusing. Again, this is a small airport.

John Glenn Columbus International is a great little airport. Quick easy bus ride from the rental car return building. Getting through security was a breeze, 5 minute wait. Not a lot of vendors to choose from. Clean, easy to navigate.

It is a good airport, because of its size it is easy to locate yourself. I arrived there at 1:30 am and I felt safe about having to wait there until my departure time.

I grew up around the CMH. My dad worked as part of the maintenance crew, so after I lost him it was still sacred ground for me. I have fond memories of the observation deck where one could watch loved ones disembark from their flights. I remember watching my older brother step off the plane when he came home from his military service overseas. Now I take my grandson to watch planes come in and take off. Times that I fly I appreciate CMH having what I need without the sprawl of a mega-airport.

International airport, although not too big. A lot of cheap flight options are there. It’s not far from Columbus, and everything was fine when I traveled. It was evening, and the security was super fast. My gate was In A, and there was not much food options. On top of that whatever available was closing soon! I have never seen airport shops closing at 7 pm!

Pretty small airport but well organized. Checking in went smooth and stress free. Our flight was delayed by 45min so it got pretty crowded. Wait area nearby gates pretty small and it got busy to the point where there were no seats available so people were standing around creating bit of a mess. Staff was friendly and handled “the mess” very well. Overall good experience

This is one of the nicest, easiest airport to get around! There is a small Memoral area for John Glenn. The workers help you with a smile. It isn’t crowed like other airports. It is easy to get around.

Flew in here on Southwest Airlines for a trip to Cedar Point. Terminal A (for SWA) is a little older and cramped, but still has a Starbucks and a bar - what else do you need at an airport? Easy time through security, bags made it to baggage claim quickly. Rental cars on on airport property but not at the terminal. Short bus ride to the rental car facility. Overall a good experience!

The airport had changed throughout the years from newer parking lots and garages to even the name. This airport is not the biggest in the states, but still friendly and informative on arrivals and departures. It’s a clean airport and security are very alert. Gates are not so scattered or far apart. Decent restaurants, bars, and other vending to cater to your needs. Easy access to public transportation, taxis, Ubers, Lyft.

Overall, John Glenn International Airport is a nice and clean airport. If you are arriving or departing, it's easy to navigate where you need to go. Arriving for a departure has never really been an issue. They need to have more patrol enforcing the no waiting for arrival pick up. It can be very difficult trying to find and get to whomever you asked to pick you up since there is always many cars lined up that have been parked for quite sometime and would still be waiting after you leave. If you are getting a rental, they have a shuttle to take you to the building for rentals. This same shuttle will also take you back to the main terminal after dropping off a rental. The new rental building is nice and away from the busy hustle.

Easy to navigate, TSA doesn’t require you to take everything out of your bag but they def know what’s in there. Not a lot Of eating options, facility was clean. Dropping off my rental was a breeze in the garage. They shuttle you over from the rental facility to the airport. Bus was very nice and clean!

For as big as this airport is, it is so easy to navigate as everything is so well marked. The easy access from I670 to finding arrivals and departures just makes this one of my favorite airports I have been to. Have only dealt with American Airlines so far and they were all so friendly.

I have been to this airport several times over the years and twice this year. I found it to be a great experience, especially today, 1-4-2023. The personnel (TSA and Southwest) were quite friendly and helpful. It might have been due to the fact that there weren't many passengers when I was there. But I appreciated the kind service anyway.

This airport is small enough to be easy to maneuver but big enough to have what you need. There are food courts and lounge areas before security, which is nice if you have a long wait. But know that, if you want to go to different terminals, you may have to leave security. Best to get food before you go through security, at least for terminal B. There are two small cafes and a Starbucks as well as a convenience store. It looks like they are adding more options soon.

Ot is a very nice small big airport. It has everything you need, but they way it is laid out makes everything easily accessible. I would give it 5 stars except for one major negative. There are never any sky caps around and we would love to use them. You can rent a cart, but that's a pain since you have to load your stuff then unload it and then return the cart and then go back and hope your shuttle hasn't come and gone while you are returning the cart. Other than that, we really like flying in and out of Columbus. It is easy to get to the airport as well. Everything is clearly marked with good signage.

Easy check in and security! Downsides are: Food choices are limited so eat before you arrive. There's a Bob Evans, but it's an record, so good is not made to order. The most important part was the bathrooms. White walls/doors were a poor choice, as you can see all the frequently touched spots, making it feel (and smells) disgusting. Thankfully, there was no shortage of thick toilet seat covers, and the toilet paper is not tissue paper!

This is my favorite airport to travel to/from - and not just because I live nearby. As a former flight attendant, I've seen many different airports and this is one of the easiest to navigate, easy to get in/out of, parking and buses are easy to get to, and everything there is intuitive. Everyone working there is friendly and makes travel easy.

It's a very clean airport. Many of the seats available have plugs or ports to charge devices. There is plenty of seating by each gate. It's nice they have the cell phone parking lot. Overall it's a small airport, but it has the capacity to handle the growing needs of Columbus.

I live in Washington state and fly out of SeaTac, which is one of the busiest airports I've ever been to. This airport was great. The drop-off area was nice. You didn't feel rushed getting out of the car and gathering your luggage. It took minutes to get through security, and there was literally no line. But out of all the workers I had contact with, only one wasn't rude, which really surprised me considering how small and not busy this airport is.

This airport was super clean, great messaging and directions, solid security, pick up and drop off as well. Be aware: google maps puts some car rentals at the airport proper, but everyone has to take the quick shuttle over to the rental car garage.

I was assisted by a woman, who pushed me in a wheelchair. It was from concourse A to F. Extremely pleasant and helpful. Flight delayed in Green Bay caused me to miss flight, they automatically booked me on next one. Flight and staff was good. Food was also good at the Varsity. Flight staff friendly and helpful.

plane arrived at 10:30pm, didn't deplane until past midnight because there was a wait for the gates. understaffed. couldn't get rental car because the place closed because we waited so long, and the only taxi available broke down. i understand that some of this is uncontrollable, but it was still not great.

The airport is nice enough, but it is inconvenient that you can't go between terminals A, B, and C without having to go through TSA security. The rental car center also needs a lot more shuttle buses or drivers or whatever is holding them back. Customers shouldn't have to wait outside in the freezing temperatures for 20 min for the next bus when they are trying to get to the airport to catch a flight. Time matters in airport operations. Buses would fill before the line was ever emptied.

One of the best airports in Ohio! My wife and I fly to Myrtle beach and Daytona from here. Wether picking up passengers or dropping off is usually a quick trip. Love the McDonald's on site! On this trip I picked up my brother in law Dr. Tim.

Very nice airport. Clean and easy to get through tsa. The tsa lady was very rude but everything else was good. Make sure you go through security at the correct gate, gates are not connected.

I've been using this airport for over 20 years. Columbus has made some serious efforts to fix up the road system leading in and out of the aiport- it has shuttle services for all the major car rentals. Hotels are nearby. It's still a small airport, which is evident by the 500+person line out the terminal doors for security on a Sunday red eye (-1 star), but I was arriving and didn't have to wait. If it's peak travel time, get here with 2 hours time, the clear line and precheck were still a significant wait.

John Glen Columbus International Airport is very clean, despite having parts under construction. It is not too big, so it is easy to get around, but there are also lots of places to both wait for your flight and to wait for people arriving. Another plus was lots of places to plug in and charge up.

Haven't flew in years, i was really nervous- but the ladies at American airlines were so patient, kind, and helpful. That helped a lot with my anxiety and the fact i just left My husband in charge of 3 teens for 2 weeks for the first time ever!!!

This airport used to be so good and now it is so convoluted. No good signs for rental car center, you have to go through the whole terminal now just to find the signs for rental car return. Used to be way easier. Never see the airport that busy but it’s being set up like it’s ATL or JFK

Good airport, no problems getting thru TSA. Both my flights to and from were on time with SWA. Airport terminal pretty small for a city of its size. For car rentals, there is a short shuttle ride to the rental car garage. SWA gate area kind of cramped and only two places were open to get food from.

Airport recently remodeled but does not have enough infrastructure. Long wait for the rental car bus to the community rental car building. Hertz isn't allowed to have a gold section you have to wait in a long line tocheck in at the counter. Signage was confusing.

Kudos to Southwest and the staff at CMH. The plane we were supposed to take needed maintenance and they decided to swap planes with a nearby one (so we just changed gates). Only an additional 40 mins. Could’ve been way worse.

Recently Renovated. Free WiFi available. Good selection of restaurants/food options past TSA that differ depending which terminal you're in. The layout is simple which makes pick up and drop off easy. The staff is usually very friendly. Check-in and security seem to move faster here than at other airports; it always seems quick!

This was on the 5th of July for a return flight out of Columbus for one of my dearest friends.. Also visited on the 3rd of July on the flight in from Texas area.. Navigating and circumventing John Glenn Airport is a little difficult.. Recommend maybe an online map perusal if not familiar with the layout.. If I did not have technology I would have spent countless minutes of wasted time searching around for the person I was meeting.. Utilized Hertz Rental Car.. Return directional signage was adequate and easy to follow.. The signage is a little faded though.. Personnel were very courteous and helpful in pointing you in the right direction to go.. Their rental policies are a little whack.. But the legalese and requirements are industry compliant.. It's the payee and driver reservation that is in question.. If you are the one paying for the rental you need to make sure you are clear that you have the necessary company compliance capabilities to pay.. Not a question of money in your account obviously.. But that you can be on the hook on your credit card.. If using a debit card.. You have to put a $200.00 deposit on top of your rental cost.. You also have to have similar last names.. And be one of the originating reserving parties.. Not clear on the aspect of licensed driver requirements.. If you are paying and are not a licensed driver but just the responsible party paying then might want to pose that question.. Otherwise pleasant airport visit.. Rated 4 stars mostly due to the ambience a small smidgen and navigating.. But that map reading potential might be more so on me.. Pretty good at it being a former Marine though.. All airport personnel very helpful and jovial.. Especially the plump man at the Southwest ticket counter as well as Senoray at the Hertz Airport Rental Car Agency.. Shout out to Mark at Hertz too.. He remembered our phone conversation.. Was cued into jogging Mark's memory because I asked about gas mileage on the vehicle we were afforded.. Have a better working knowledge of John Glenn Airport now because of this experience.. But, if you are a newbie; hit the technology and website.. Flew out on the 7th of August.. Great Experience.. All Airport staff were Awesome SAUCE..

I've been to a lot of airports throughout my life. This one is 15 minutes from my house and I always seem to end up there to drop my dad or mom off. It's easier to navigate than other airports, though some of the recent road work is slightly annoying. But I'm usually in and out. It's typically easy to swivel around traffic, which is not something I'd like to try at other airports.

Much improved since I came last year more restaurants are open and just in general the place feels in better shape. I came at about 2:00 p.m. on a Sunday. TSA and check in lines we're both short. Still not pleased there's no public transit into the airport. The direct airport bus is apparently still not functioning.

Airport's not terrible having to take shuttles to the rental car facilities kind of lame. The restrooms have those germs spreading heated blowers for hand drying which should be against the wall at this point. Also all of the supposedly convenient electrical outlets in almost all the seating in the corridors and the gates do not work. Southwest crew were pleasant and informative even though my flight was diverted and then canceled leaving me stranded at this airport versus ORD where I had intended to fly to.

Super early flight, so not too crowded. Starbucks doesn't open till 4:45, so that had a line. Small airport. Security took less than 7 minutes. Once through workers were there to drive you to your gate if needed. Not much food places.

Security lines were empty in the morning time, became buzzing post noon, and went down by night, pretty much all shops closed in night. Compact, nice airport. WiFi strength and coverage were good.

Check in and security are fast. Parking and shuttles are convenient. Baggage claim is horrendous! For such a small airport and not much traffic, it shouldn't take 10x longer than much larger airports. It is ridiculous to have to wait so long. I often have to wait 30 min to an hour. Hire more people!

I have been to almost every single class Bravo and class Charlie airport in the US, and I found Columbus airport exceptionally different in all good means! First and foremost, TSA personnel are AMAZING! Unlike other airports, TSA staff are very professional, cordial, and helpful. The police and security team also are incredibly nice and helpful. In general, that was such a great experience flying in/out of this airport.

Really long wait for our luggage. Broken escalator. Limited staff. Clean restrooms. Need better signs for shuttle pick up. Shuttle driver for Green lot was bossy. Unloaded wrong suitcases for multiple families, won't listen when you try to tell him which ones were yours, over loaded the bus and then roughly reorganized everyone's suitcases.

It can be difficult to navigate at times inside the airport. Also, the surrounding outdoor landscape is constantly changing with new buildings and additions. Unfortunately for red-eye flights, nothing is open late, so there's nowhere to grab a bite to eat or a pre-flight cocktail. It is kept clean and there's plenty of signage to assist in eventually figuring out where you're going.

For a small airport, John Glenn international is quite clean and open. It has definitely benefitted from recent remodeling. Also, I'm giving it 5 stars because the wifi is just open. No Boingo BS.

Quiet airport never really crowded. Has gone through renovations over the years. Connected reasonably well domestically but needs international direct flights or a hub to really get on the map. The airport concourses are not very big and consequently the food and shopping is quite sparse as compared to the larger airports. Overall, it's a pleasant and convenient airport.

Tiny but beautiful airport with all the amenities. Major domestic airlines cover connections with most of US airports. There is ample parking in and around airport. Busy on weekends, otherwise airport is kind of free and you can enjoy peaceful time there.

Destination airport. Normally done come here on a connection. Amenities are nice. Decent food selection. I like the Chili's inside the Southwest terminal. Rental cars are attached which takes the hassle away of a shuttle. Security is normally fast, even on busy days.

Quick pick up in Red long term shuttle parking! From long term park, through TSA, to sitting at the gate in less than 20 minutes at 8:00 am on a Monday. Can't complain there!

This airport just keeps getting better every time I fly out of it or, into it. Many new updates have been added. Staff is always courteous, small and simple travel done right. Great food choices and the baggage claim is always fast and easy. If you are looking for the most affordable parking choose the blue lot. It is further away but, the shuttles are quick and consistently running.

Security lines move quickly, the rental car area is pretty easy to navigate. Signage is great. The terminal had a few choices for food. My only complaint- the only have CNN on the TV monitors and it is too loud. Restrooms were clean and maintained.

John Glenn International, commonly known as Columbus Airport, is a beautiful but small airport. It is easy to access from all suburbs and parts of Columbus. Most of the times it is very convenient and stress free to go through Security Check as it is not very busy. It offers domestic flights to most of the cities in the country, the USA🇺🇸, directly and of via layovers. The only draw back is that you can not a direct International flight except for Canada 🇨🇦. But still it is really a very likable and nice airport.

It's really just ok. Food selection is decent, just not too plentiful. The process through TSA is generally easy, but I have had some long waits here. They need to do a better job with providing working charging stations in all the wait areas, it's just what airports do these days. Parking and ground transportation are convenient enough, but it is definitely easier at other airports.

Decent enough airport, smaller, but clean bathrooms that are larger than most. Food options are sparse compared to some larger airports so if you're a picky eater I'd bring snacks. Very nice staff, everyone says hello.

I love flying in and out of John Glenn. Its size makes it so easy to get in and out of especially compared to the major airports in the country. For the most part, the airport is very clean and the employees are professional and courteous. I'm excited about the upcoming changes with the new rental car building and future new terminal. It's a shame the current one will be torn down. Couldn't it be kept and remodeled for future expansion?

Nice airport, pretty clean, and friendly employees. Looks like they could benefit from a few more eateries after going through security. Every single one in terminal B was packed or had a line out the door. Not the end of the world, but I would hate to be delayed or have a layover here. Not a lot of dining / convenience options - and those that do exist don’t have opening hours that match the airport fully - but the airport is clean, efficient, and easy to get around. Amex lounge coming soon in terminal B which is a nice addition.

I enjoy flying into CMH. No problem with traffic whether it is a departure flight or arrival flight. A decent selection of restaurants to choose from if you need a bite to eat.

Facilities are worn and overcrowded. On the good side, washrooms are clean, there is an area to relieve your pets, and the staff are generally friendly. Really, really needs more seats in the terminal, especially around gates 29-31.

The airport is laid out fairly well easy to find your way around parking is easy as well. The trouble I had today was Spirit left us hanging delayed our flight twice explaining the second time that crew coming from another flight would be here in 2 more hours then after sitting for an hour or more the cancelled the flight then a scramble to the ticket counter to find out what to do that and getting the bags back took forever left a real bad taste in my mouth for Spirit . The airport itself was fine

Home town airport! I've seen this airport go through many changes in my life. They have beautifully done the entrance way and concourse with a modern and easy layout. Plenty of charging areas for phones etc.... Water bottle full up stations are located through out the airport so bring your water bottle. Lots of food and shops as well. Fantastic airport!

Good place to fly in to. Rental car was easy, it's not attached which is usually a pain but they're shuttles are zero wait, like one leaves when the next one arrives and the trip is a few minutes. The terminals are separated with no shuttle. If you're flying delta there's no place open for breakfast other than starbucks.

Smooth Ticketing. -Slow Security Check. Baggage Claim Is Great. -Security Check Can Use Some Work. The Metal Detector Wasn't Working And The Fault Was Put On The Passengers. I Understand Safer Than Sorry, Especially In An Airport, But If They Had Checked Their System Beforehand, Many Wouldnt Have Felt Like They're Being Violated. They Searched Through Many Passengers Groin Area, Even When They Were In The Clear. Luckily, They Checked Their System After The 4th Passenger, Right Before Me, Or I Too Would've Been Violated For No Reason. All Jn All, Everythi g There Is Good. John Glenn Columbus International Airport (CMH) is a medium sized modern airport with three concources (A, B, C). Parking is very close, including the car rentals. The only somewhat confusing part is going to the correct terminal for TSA check-in.

This is the easiest curb to plane, and plane to curb airport I have ever visited. TSA was super friendly. They did their jobs well, but understood customer service and made the experience as pleasant as possible. There are plenty of outlets under all the seats for topping off your cell phone and free wifi. I wish some of the major hubs would take some cues from Columbus.

Airport reconstruction looks great, especially the easy access when picking up or dropping off. However, Spirit Airlines sucks! Waited for a 6:30 am flight from Vegas which was delayed three times. Once it came in the plane sit on the tarmac for another hour and 10 mins due to no gate to unload which the person I was waiting for didn't get luggage and out until 9:30. Unbelievable definitely will not get my 💰 for sure!!

Unfortunately, after moving to Ohio figured out that this airport doesn’t have direct international flights. It's difficult, especially for international travelers, so I had to go from this airport to the Chicago airport. Apart from that, it was quick and less crowded and also adequate food options.

A great airport. The employees throughout are very helpful and pleasant. They have a new checkin machine called CLEAR. Only located in 50 airports currently. You can check in using your eyes, finger tips and thumbs. You use all. I had a problem with this machine though. My eyes weren’t registering as me but each time I did it, it brought up other black women. The concept is good but this machine definitely has kinks. I was wearing colored contacts and perhaps these women were as well. The helpful gent that works in this area said it is suppose to read as black and white so shouldn’t register the color contacts but yet the iris. The shape, size etc. There currently an issue with this system that needs to be addressed.

I really like this airport. It's big and clean, lots of space. Haven't flown out of here in a while as a resident, but I remember lot parking being a bit of a hassle, but they do however run a shuttle. Rental car services were pretty painless too. Could do with better signage, but overall I like this airport more than many I have been to.

I made the mistake of flying back home to cmh after 9 pm. The airline was full and forced bag checks so I did, and now we've been waiting for 20 minutes+ at baggage claim, and none of the flights' bags have arrived yet. Management would be smart to hire a few more baggage claim associates to work the "late shift " and help get bags back more quickly. Last time this happened, I waited for 50 minutes for my bags. Was really trying to avoid it this time.

Direct flights to Miami, Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington DC, New York, Charlotte, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Dallas, Atlanta, allow for that easy connection.

Okay dude straight up I've been to alot of airports but this one is the nicest. It's pretty much always clean I've been to a bunch of then that have been completely gross. Also there isn't any homeless hanging out asking for money or what not. It's pretty big but not too big where it feels like it takes forever to get from one end to another. I normally fly southwest and they always do me right plus you get a bag for free which is nice. I've never had any issues here yet but it's an airport so I'm sure my experience is different than the next guy.

Love the visit. In town from San Antonio Texas for a wedding flew in to town Easy to drive to to/from downtown. One of the best layout airports, had to pick up family members arriving for the wedding. Car rental easy to get to and drop off. Traffic was control and signs easy to read and follow. Waiting for arrivals car lot easy to get to with a temptation fast food place too nearby. Plan to visit again in the near future.

Overall pleasant to fly in and out of. The facility has gone through a major renovation some time ago and it is still well maintained. Most parts including the restrooms are very clean. The main terminal is not so big but not too small to be overcrowded either. The parking garage is attached to the main terminal so travelers can avoid being exposed to the wind/rain/sunlight to reach their cars. A McDonald's is located within the airport complex. The landside and the 3 concourses are also fairly well laid out and dotted with decent number of eateries. In most cases the check-in and security check procedures altogether took only about 10 minutes for me and as the terminal is not too big even walking to the farthest gate takes only about 5 minutes. Of course TSA agents sometimes can be less than courteous. Baggage handling was fairly quick I did not really have to wait for more than 5 minutes until my bags were placed on the carousel for pickup. This airport offers free wi-fi and plenty of power outlets in between seats including USB power ports. My only concern about this facility is the lack of public transportation options. This airport is connected to the city by only two bus lines (52 and 92). Of course as this airport is only about 15 minutes' drive from downtown even a taxi ride costs only about $25 which implies a low demand of public transportation options in this region. Nevertheless I sometimes just feel insecure about the lack of public transits from any airport and this airport is no exception to that.

I am at CMH at least twice a week. Probably one of the ugliest airports in the country from the outside (entrance is under a parking garage), but once you get inside, the airport is clean, spacious and easy to navigate. Great signage everywhere. I like to use the walking lot, which is a surface parking lot adjacent to the terminal. It is actually nice that the 14th largest city in America is served by such a small and efficient airport facility.

Gate A3 has a lot of outlets out where I can't charge my phone which has my boarding pass on it. Kind of a losing situation especially since the boarding pass for southwest turns the brightness up so much and makes me lose battery super fast. I also tried 4 outlets none work.

Well if you like to visit airports this is one of those ones you have to come visit. The food is a bad, the flights out are always great air planes, oddly enough all the flights back we come back on old planes. I have flown back about a dozen times all the same old planes.

Love this airport. Wish they would display another vehicle like a Mercedes Benz instead of a Honda which is in front of the B terminal/gates. Collecting one's baggage at the luggage carousel continues to be a circus act but that is no fault of the airport. Just human nature being enacted. The terminals are spacious, well lighted and clean. Lots of clear sign posts.

Airline ops are good and gates/TSA are easy to navigate..services (restaurants, bars, shops) are not up to the standards of an "international airport." Everything except one news stand was closed by 6pm on a Saturday. That's not appropriate when flights are still departing for the day and we're hearing that passengers are returning en masse to CMH. An international airport needs to provide services.

Picking up someone in Christmas Eve..On a Saturday.. The baggage gets lost upon landing... We expect hell- right? Oh let me tell you- last two times we picked up someone we were in Detroit- not a holiday- not a weekend.. No lost baggage. I would drive to Columbus and do this ten times before going to Detroit once to pick up. The linea moves, staff was polite, helpful, directing traffic, keeping people safe- it was very tolerable! Oh and the roads!! They were smooth and the routes were well marked! Awesome airport- if we dont count the cell phone waiting lot.

Quick, convenient, courteous, professional. Unlike Newark NJ airport. The TSA people are rude, very unprofessional and should all be sent back to TSA schooling. Extremely disappointed with my experience there. Will never go back there or use United Airlines again. But, then again, it was booked by Expedia. Flying from LA to Newark then back to Columbus is pretty simple minded.

The baggage handlers will destroy your overweight luggage, even after you pay for it. Then, you get to tell southwest you need a new case because they destroyed yours. The airport is "medium" size, but operates with small waits for anything. No fancy restaurants, but enough places to eat and drink to wait for a flight. I don't think many flights have large layovers in cbus anyway.

Port Columbus to John Glenn airport. It's still all the same. Construction move from inside to outside. Even with construction never had any issues here. Can't even count the times picking and dropping people off. Always use short term parking but I was not able to park on the roof due to its long term overflow parking today. New arrival screen is massive! Thumbs up on the new interior.

But coming home is always very frustrating because I will walk all the way from the terminal stop to get a snack, go to the bathroom, and still have to wait 20+ minutes for my bags to show up. Longer than any airport that I visit… with the exception of DFW, which is getting terrible as well… getting into and leaving from CMH is great… very quick… but I always dread coming home…

Don't seem that organized. Last flight had to sit on taxiway while they got a gate ready, then the jetway didn't work after trying to fix for 30-40min, had to be moved to another gate. Landing to opening the door added well over an hour to the trip.

I have found this to be one of the larger airports that have late flights. I flew from Boise to Columbus via United Airlines and arrived at 11:00 p.m. The flights were on time with a great staff. Airport staff members are always willing to assist with directions. The one drawback in my opinion is that the rental car location is a long way from the terminal in terms of walking, although I have never had any issues at this rental car location. The staff is always professional at the Budget and Avis Rental Car counters. The wait was short and they had the vehicle I stated that I wanted. I have always had a good experience at this location.

There have been some improvements here. It doesn't have that small airport as much now. I am somewhat disappointed that the vendors are not open early or late. I had a 9AM flight and was looking for coffee to no avail. I returned in the evening and Donatos was closed. The signature places that say this is Columbus and welcome weren't available. I like the decor and the grounds keeping and lighting. I hope we get better.

Usually a great experience. Unfortunately this morning at 0500 an employee working the security conveyor belt was very rude! I am an experienced traveler and accustomed to removing laptop, coat, shoes and facilitating moving the line along. Everything I did was wrong, even the direction I placed the bin on the belt. She barked at me to “stay with your bins”. When I asked if I needed to stay with them as they passed through the X-ray she sneaked “you can”. Instead of being helpful she barked at everyone. When I suggested she simply help the process she stated “ you could just stop flying”. I’m not sure she was old enough to remember 09/11 but for those of us who lived through it- we u defat and the importance of the heightened security at airports. There is never an excuse for rudeness. This young person is in the wrong job.

Not nearly enough seating as there were so many people having to stand for extended periods of time awaiting their flight. Ours was delayed by nearly an hour so when you factor being told to arrive two hours early to clear security and all of that then another delay, lots a LONG time to have to stand due to lack of seating options.

I love this airport! My favorite by far. The lines in TSA are never long and checking in is a simple process. I wish there were more international locations that this airport. But overall great!

I had a difficult time relocating my car after parking in "Short Term Parking". Signs in the Ticketing area directed me to a section of the garage, where I had not parked. There were no maps of the parking garage within sight. There were no airport reps at the "Information Desks" (at 7pm on a Saturday). I asked a passing security guard for directions, and he sent me to the long term parking section of the garage. After searching the garage for about 30 minutes, I discovered that there was another "Short Term" parking area, separated from the first. I found my car there. In the absence of people who can assist and provide directions, some decent signage would go a long way in helping people who are not familiar with the airport.

Probably one of the easiest primary airports to navigate through in the US. Car rental return is literally steps away from the terminal. I found the security checkpoint moved along at a reasonable pace. Plenty of seating available while waiting for boarding.

This airport is very basic. Even more so after the Pandemic happened. Food options are minimal. You will have a hard time outside of your Dunkin/Srarrbucks experience. Depending on the terminal you may find a okay restaurant open during peak hours. If you're stranded, it's plenty of room to spread out. Clean bathrooms. Clean overall. Expect lines in the check-in area for some airlines when you are departing on an early flight and they just opened. Nothing really to do if you're surfing in the airport. No good shopping, boring Ohio exhibits. My suggestion: Get in and get out!

Due to our new normal, I arrived 90-minutes before my flight when I could have arrived 45-minutes before and been okay. Airport traffic was nonexistent and terminal was quiet and it's late morning during a week day. Plenty of seating with plugs for electronics (my airport removed their plugs). Only downside: no shops are open due to new COVID measures, so if you want food or water, eat before you arrive, bring something, or grab a bite to eat at their small food court. I travel with an empty water bottle and snacks that often include fruit.

It's okay. It's fairly efficent in It's inner workings ( TSA, most airlines ), it's clean, and easy to navigate on the inside. Parking and the ease in which to get to it is a MAJOR issue. And why is one of the most interesting pieces of art you will see at any airport buried so obscurely you almost need a search party to find it ?

One of the least stressful airports that I've flown in and out of. It's a somewhat smaller airport that means it's less crowded, catching terminals is not hard and its not overly complex of a place to get around. Less people means less lines, in general. Boarding, and getting our flight ready took merely seconds. Security was through but also didn't make it wildly stressful, it was quick and not complicated, easy straight forward process and on with you. Baggage claim is easy and fast exit with good signage. So calm, compared to others. A choice airport for me, no matter where I am flying.

First time ever picking family up from this airport... Loved the free cellphone parking lot area to wait at for family to call that there ready to be picked up. Less then 2 minutes away

Clean but compared to other big city airports in the region (Detroit, Chicago) not well marked. Little to No signage to assist customers who haven't been here. Employees not helpful and do little to assist customers who don't know where they should be again due to lack of signs/information.

The John Glenn/Columbus Metro Hub has gone through a total renovation with many amenities like parking facilities, hotels, restaurants, stores, and fast food places before and after you enter the airport or go through TSA check point. The decor as well as information screens are easy to eye. It has become one of the best airports in USA.

They have a shuttle that picks you up, helps you with your luggage and takes you to your car. TSA is very easy to get through. Some places to eat and shop but not many.

I know it's a small airport for being an International Airport, but even for Saturday afternoon it just really seems boring and nothing to do, sometimes nobody around to help with simple questions. 12:22am landed and been sitting on runway for 15 minutes waiting for an “open gate”. I fly EVERY week and EVERY week I have the same horrible experience. #1 No one is EVER waiting at the gate to deplane us and #2 Wait 20-30 minutes for bags to arrive. If anyone will please share who’s in charge of this mess at CMH, I will make it my mission to have them fired. Might make a good story for one of our local news stations. I fly to numerous airports. CMH is the worst by a mile. 12/15 update: Previous 1 star upgraded to 4 stars this evening. The ground crew did their job and were ready for us…and we were even a little early.

Car rental doesn't require a shuttle service. Terminal A amenities are average & many are closed at 8AM. Bathrooms are have wide entrances and ample facilities. Counters at gate A6 allow standing to work on the laptop.

Nice airport, very clean. Not doing great right now- May 2021. I’ve been through 4 airports who are keeping their stuff together through and post pandemic and this isn’t one of them. There are 6pm restrictions on restaurants which is INSANE in an airport.

TSA was quick and easy even while traveling with three kids. But if your hungry eat before you get there’s not many selections. The only places open have limited menus. So if you get hangry eat before you get there. Most all the snacks are extremely over priced at the little stores near the terminals.

Their parking is very confusing. Expect a bit of a walk if you park in the garage. Their shuttle lots are safe and the drivers are helpful. You don't have a long wait. They are practicing social distancing. Some of their shops are closed.

Have never had any problems at this airport. Service is friendly and efficient. Lots of places to snack or eat and lots of outlets for your electronics.

First time here, can't say a bad thing about it. Easy in, easy parking, easy thru TSA. Clean in the areas I was at. Free cell chargers available if you have a cable.

For as big of an Airport as it is, it serves its purposes well. The updates over the years have vastly improved the look, feel, and overall flow of traffic. Parking- is not bad- Plenty of it and spacious. Short & Long term day are the only ones I have ever used and are costly when you get over a couple of hours so be aware. Plenty of Handicap access, with pick up from other lot accommodation. Restaurants/ Quick eats- Like most Airports, the food is overpriced, being that this is a smaller facility the choices are more limited, but what I did have was good. Other shops are Gift/ High end ( not worth shopping at in my opinion ) Plenty of bathrooms, friendly staff throughout willing to be of assistance. Less wait time at check-in / Security. Has several major airlines. A group of travelers told me they'd travel through John Glenn than others airports because its less hectic and people are friendly. I will be utilizing them more often.

Not bad when it comes to processes arriving and departing. The last time we came in on a flight it was from Mexico. It would be nice to have more than one official at customs. That line moved very slowly as a result. And the food needs to be reopened. The main food area outside the B terminal had only one place open. Previously there had been 3 or 4 places. I know, covid. But more people are flying now and more food areas need to be opened asap. Lastly, good luck getting a direct flight to somewhere that isn't a very large city or is a hub city. We're lucky to have a flight or two to/from Cancun each week. Want to go to someplace like Punta Cana? You'll need to wake up in the middle of the night, catch a 7AM flight, hop through a hub city, and still not get to your destination until mid afternoon at the earliest. Very frustrating talking to folks from other cities that easily get direct flights.

Small, mid-American airport. A small eating area and a few shopping options. Not much else to do. I've spent several days, nights and layovers here. Pretty walkable. Don't need very much to see the whole airport. There are (uncomfortable) massage chairs to the left where the toilets are. Anyway, surprise, surprise - No McDonald's here. You can always tell how good an airport is by checking for a McDonald's. Anyway, you have Burger King here. If you want to spend a night here. Prepare to sleep on the floor because the seats are horrible! Good luck!

With ample and very modern and very clean area, it has several shops and establishments for general meals and 24h bank. Well-equipped and several places accessible for wheelchair users.It has a good information center and a very acceptable security.Airport usually has some delays in flights, and many establishments usually offer products with good prices. Their parking lot structures are very good, and easy to have access for shuttles to lots!

I like the Columbus airport, it is extremely easy to fly in and out of. My only recommendation is that you get TSA pre-check. You will either be in a line with five people waiting for the security checkpoint or in a line that stretches into the main concourse.

The roads are confusing and it is easy to be in the wrong lane. Red lot was closed so you have to pay more for blue or green lot. The Delta kiosks do not work properly. Most of the food stops are closed so bring a snack. Everything is incredibly overpriced. However, I noticed this trend in Missoula, Minneapolis and Salt Lake City also.

One of the reasons we use Columbus for business travel is that it's easy to get in and out of, which includes the airport. If you aren't checking a bag, then it's quick to get through security and to your gate. If you are checking a bag, I've seen long lines at times (hours long lines). Amenities are sparse, so delays and layovers could be an issue, though there is a Starbucks and there are restaurants. Overall, I've been in and out of here over a dozen times and it works well.

Very convenient airport. Security wait times are never too long, same goes for ticketing and baggage claim (at least every time I've flown in and out of here to date). Parking is also reasonable. As an aviation enthusiast I DO wish it were bigger or at least had bigger aircraft flying in/out on the regular but it's pretty neat for what it is.

I like this airport. The service is friendly and helpful and the airport is fairly easy to navigate. I parked in the blue lot and there are actually attendants who give you a designated parking spot. The shuttle is prompt and the bus itself is in good condition. It was easy to find my way in and back out to I-71. My experience was very good. I was there in June of 2018.

The whole travel experience was nearly seamless! TSA Agents were very orderly and friendly. Transition to the gate was easy, due to the great signage! The only hiccup was with the straps that go length wise, and width wise around the suitcase. The length wise strap was completely pulled off! How could this happen, as it was tight as a guitar string?!?
