I am an employee here and this is one of the best nursing homes if not the best in the West Columbia/Lexington area. I have been in this building for 7 years in April and one thing I can truly say is this place is a home away from home and that we are like a big family. From each employee, resident, and family member. The compassion everyone has for each other and the love that everyone shows to each other and our residents is truly genuine. We have an awesome management team and a even better floor staff that don’t just talk the talk but also walk the walk, they go that extra mile to do what they say they are going to do with a little extra on the side. We have a team that’s going to change things for the best not just in our facility but in our surrounding community. I am proud to be apart of an awesome team. So look out for us because Millennium is looking to do big things in the near future.

Millennium Post Acute Rehabilitation is an outstanding facility for short term rehab with a top notch therapy department. Millennium also offers great long term care beds. Millennium also has a sub acute unit with trach and vent pt. 24 hour a day 7 day a week respiratory therapist, RN's and LPN's.

I was admitted to this facility a week after my heart attack. The staff were VERY helpful and caring, including the physical therapists. I was bored to tears, between visits,and had an INTERESTING roommate, thrust on me. Other than that, it was an enjoyable experience for the three weeks I was there...I would rather not have this experience again, but if I had to return, this is a place I would feel comfortable in.

The best and most professional and experienced staff of Nurse Practitioner,Nurses,CNA, Therapist,and Administration team I've seen. I was at my weakest point in life mentally and physically but working with these good people helped bring me back to one of the strongest forms in my life. If you have a need for a nursing home, or rehabilitation for yourself or loved one I recommend Milliniuem Post Acute Rehabilitation Center in West Columbia.

Staff were all friendly and helpful...better than my roommate 🤣 Meals were always cold, but physical therapists were always good. I was there for three weeks, but I KNOW some folks were there longer...hope I NEVER have to go back...through no fault but my own. I felt like I was in jail, though the staff tried to make my stay tolerable...

Caring staff with a building full of very difficult patients. Staffing levels need to be augmented however I have a feeling this facility deals with a lot of Medicaid patients and so I understand. They are in the middle of remodeling. The food was plentiful and just fine. The facility seems well designed but needing the update which is underway.

I love this place. I came here bed bound but with hard work and great staff, they're helping me stand up to walk again. It's a difference between someone just doing their job and someone actually wanting you to do better than you were before. Love you guys!!!

If I could give this place a minus zero I would, do not send your loved ones here. Some have no choice at the time because of only have medicaid but will be looking into other places better than here. I understand you get busy in these types of places because Im in the healthcare field as well but you never neglect your patients...they are human they have feelings and you have a job because of your patients. If you dont want to do your job then dont be here. Families trust that you will care for their loved ones but that is not the case here at all so lately I've been staying 8 to 10 hours...well tonight im staying all night so I can keep an eye on a family member. Been here a month now and since then the patient has got an awful bed sore big as your opened hand, not had a bath since admitted, urine in the floor for over a week, nasty bedding, rude nurses, fallen several times, call button never worked at all, caregivers feeding patient that is not responding leaving a mouth full of food for over an hour for him to choke and aspirate on, patient is terminal and on hospice asked for nurse to give pain med for 2 and half hours then she comes with additude saying cant give it if he doesnt have trouble breathing so didnt give it...I stated he is on hospice he is to get morpine when he is hollering in pain...he has a huge bedsore bigger than your hand, he cant swallow and she denies him of his med but gave his regular meds crushed and shoved in his mouth...only thing he can do is open his eyes this is uncalled for. I sit here listen to other patients call nurse nurse for hours and no one comes..I will speak up and Im doing just that for not only my family member but others as well. Hopefully this review will stay up and not get deleted to let other family members know to never send your loved ones here. Also facility please dont respond with your auto response its not needed...what is needed is for yall to respond with compassion and respect and work to solve the problems your facility has. P.S. When our family member was to go to a nursing home my first words were please not Millennium...that should say a lot. 📌📌📌📌📌📌📌📌📌📌📌📌📌📌📌 New review update: April 1, 2018 I recently posted a review and wanted to make another review but it would not let me so I wanted to update here. Since my last review I have spoken to D O N and Social Worker and have to say I am very pleased and happy with the results from the staff here. They have made our stay here wonderful. We have staff come in here checking on him often and tending to his needs. The hospitality they have shown to us and our family is remarkable and I feel blessed and truly grateful. They put our family in his own private room and it is nice. The staff comes regularly to check on him and us as well. They offer and bring us food and trays of snacks. They are making our stay here as comfortable as they can and for that we are truly grateful and just wanna say thanks for addressing these issues and helping our family be at peace with our loved one here passing away. I really cant say enough about the changes and compassion since my last review. Again I just wanted to say thank you to the Admins and staff also please do keep up the good work...always move forward and continue to make the great changes as you are doing right now not only for our family but others as well.
