Reviews of Burlington Earth Clock
Really cool and unusual stop. We gave it a try and it actually works! In addition to looking like a baby Stonehenge it actually will give you the time of day when you stand in the right spot.Is great stop over when visiting lake.
This place was a random stop of our bike tour on the Burlington Greenway. The mystery of rocks sticking from the ground drew our attention. We soon found, by a placard tucked away from view that the rocks were part of a sundial installation! “How cool!,” I exclaimed. It even came with “instructions on how to use it.” I most definitely would like to return to fully understand the complexities of our solar cycles 🌎🌍🌏🙏
Loved the Earth Clock! It was right on with the time, even on this cloudy day. It felt like a magical place, sort of like Stonehenge Junior! Really interesting!
The clock itself is cool. It's a fancy sundial. Spectacular view! And it's on the Burlington Bike Path which is five stars.
Gorgeous place. The scenery is breathtaking. Good for a walk, jog, bike or just kill time. The road ends at a community gate. Park before the gate, do not enter. Then take the trail going to the left.
Neat little spot overlooking the beach and beautiful Lake Champlain. The bike path leading to and from Burlington is behind the sun dial at around 5 o'clock and goes around in front of the dial.
Very cool. And it works too. Traveling south from downtown, it's placed on the left at a bend on the Burlington bike path just before a couple of nice benches for viewing the lake.
Peaceful spot with nice views.
A little hard to find on Google maps. Follow the bike trail and you'll be fine. 🙂 …
A beautiful place along the coast of Lake Champlain, this sun dial is pretty nest and they have a small display explaing how it works.
Neat location. Pleasant walk to get there along the lake.
Very cool experience. Remind me of Outlander for you who are fans of the show like me

Nice view of the lake too!
Fun stop when in Burlington. Nice park and walking path.
What a wonderful find, yet again! So many neat things to see around Burlington and this is definitely at the top of that list! Beautiful view from the benches and such a neat display with all the information. Very interesting!
I was biking for the sake of exploring some time back, and a thunderstorm was making it's way from New York east over the lake. Finding this location and watching with unobstructed view to thee rolling lightning strikes was the coolest darn thing I've experienced in a long time.
The clock itself is really cool having gone back the following day. Definitely something to check out when traversing the bike path!
Don´t miss an opportunity to observe spectacular sunset. Such a cool place to spend evening . its one of my personal favourite place to take sunset pictures.
A Burlington city park, this is a beautiful spot for a picnic, to meditate, or swim in the warmer months. A standing circle of megalithic VT-quarried stone blocks, this space holds marvelous energy. Stand in the power spot and get into receptive mode to receive healing! If it is a Solstice or Equinox, or nearby weekend, don't be surprised to see a group of folks w drums and music makers, wands and Crystals celebrating the season!
It's right on the Burlington bike path, a few steps North of Oakledge Park. Access by Flynn Avenue. Keep an eye out for fairies!. And for you Dowsers, the power spot is just near the number four, p.m. side (east).
If you're looking for an earth clock in or around Burlington Vermont, look no farther. This has everything an earth clock enthusiast would look for. Clocks and earth. Great location awesome people. Check it out for sure! Tell em dustin sent ya
There are some nice picnic benches nearby and a nice beach. The earth clock itself attracts some really interesting characters... who you either enjoy or don't enjoy.
Such a unique feature. We really weren't sure where to park though but the walk to it wasn't that far.. the view of the water was also beautiful!
Large scale sundials are always fun. If you have really young kids I can vouch they'll love playing hide-n-seek there as well.
Loved it! Stopped when it's near freezing so we ran to the earth clock but it's beautiful, scenic and can't wait to revisit once the weather was up!
A place we didn't know about on our trip until last minute but the views were great
This is an extraordinary experience a great location, I enjoy going every summer. Thanks you to the Parks department of Burlington. Sincerely yours David Call
A short hike, great view of the lake. Something interesting to do with kids in a small town
It was a nice park with a nice place to bike and walk.
Nice place to visit when walking around downtown Burlington, VT!!
I think the clock is running slow.
If you stand in the center you can use your body as a sundial.
How can you not give an "earth clock" five stars?
What a wonderful place!
Cool!
It knows the time.
Still can't get back to Jamie
South End Stonehenge. Cool spot.
Beautiful view on the lake
Who needs a watch when you have a sundial

Little Stonehenge like sundial near the Blanchard Beach. Very picturesque! Good for a short stop. Parking lot nearby at the Oakledge Park (free when we visited in February) .
