My sister and I had the BEST time!!! I wish I could give this place 100 stars because the entire experience was amazing. It's the cutest studio right in the heart of Beacon Hill. Drew was helping us with our colors and giving great suggestions for our pieces. I got a picture of our completed dog bowl and mug when they were ready for pick-up, too. I cannot wait to come back!! If you haven't gone yet, you're missing out on a great Boston activity!

Wonderful local pottery spot. A lovely evening activity to enjoy peacefully painting. A vast array of pottery items to choose from and lots of colors to choose from. I painted a mug, there were bowls, small boxes, decorative chickens and much beyond.

Upon arriving we were greeted at the door, sat comfortably, and offered complimentary chocolates by Allie. There was a large selection of pieces to choose from and unlimited paint choices at our disposal. They constantly reminded everyone in the shop to take there time and enjoy themselves while painting their chosen pieces. After finishing, Allie took our pieces and offered admittance into a raffle she is running to help support a children’s camp building tree houses. Needless to say, the management here is extremely friendly and passionate about what they do and the causes they give back to. We were shocked to read some of these negative reviews that are clearly fake and without any photos to show people actually visited the store. The entire staff of Rainbow Pottery was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive to the customers in the store. If you have the chance to go here on a date, by yourself, or as a group, you will not be disappointed by the lovely staff or the experience as a whole!

One of the best experiences I’ve had in so long!! My friend took me here as a surprise and it was sooo fun. The staff working there are so kind and genuine, and kept the mood of the shop so welcoming and fun. The place is so nicely decorated and relaxing to be in, there’s so much fun art to choose from, and the owner Allie is a sweetheart and so kind to everyone. I can’t wait to go again bring more friends!! I recommend this to anyone who just wants to relax, chill with some art, or is bored and looking for a fun activity. Thank you Rainbow pottery! I also love supporting women-owned small businesses ;)

My friends and I had the BEST time at Rainbows. So much so, that we came back the following week for their Taylor Swift event LOL. Such a fun memory and different thing to do [than going to a bar]. Plus you get to walk away with an awesome hand-painted piece :) even if you aren’t an “artist” you will still have a great time - there’s no pressure or anything. Just good vibes and great people. Allie and Drew are awesome. Call ahead if you want more info or to make sure all of your party can fit. Can’t wait to check out their new location that’s opening soon on Newbury Street!

Me and my boyfriend went here for the first time today and it was the perfect date activity! The studio is beautiful and the atmosphere made the whole experience, Drew was so friendly and fun and makes everyone feel welcome. He played an awesome playlist and was open to song request and took everyone’s photo of them with their pottery, he really went above and beyond. Overall great experience and we will definitely be back!

I brought my entire extended family to Rainbows the day after Thanksgiving. For three hours, we painted pottery, enjoyed quality music, and relished in each other’s company. From little 5 year old cousins to uncles 80 years of age, everyone had a complete blast. There truly could not have been a better activity, and certainly no better place than Rainbows, for us. Allie and Drew’s hospitality, and passion for what they do, is second to none. I already have everyone asking me what time we are going back next year!

Ordered my mug online, and received it in two days! Looks even better than the pictures! Service was amazing, I was contacted by Drew the manager who sent me photos and ensured I received the mug that I wanted. Great service and beautiful product!

An absolute must! Loved the ambience, friendliness of the staff, and overall vibe of this local business. Allie and Drew were so accommodating to me and my boyfriend when we visited on Valentine’s Day. I was so impressed with their professionalism and warmth. Definitely will be returning!

I’m honestly shocked at these trolling reviews that maybe became a trend off of Tik TOk? But I went with my mom and we had such a great time and Allie and Drew are the sweetest. Is it inexpensive? No.. but I am not sure what people expect for a pottery studio in one of the most expensive neighborhoods. I highly recommend coming here. We had great service. Thank you both!

I had an amazing time at the studio! There’s a wide variety of pieces and colors to choose from and the staff are super helpful and friendly. I will definitely be coming back to paint again, the shop had an incredible vibe and it would be great for a date night or as a fun group activity!

My husband and I held our daughters 2nd birthday here this weekend. It was 7 of us total. We had the most amazing experience ever. Allison and Drew were absolutely incredible. They provided us with one on one help, helped make Everleigh’s birthday so special and major props to Drew who was amazing with my daughter. Allison was so personal in making sure we got everything we wanted for Everleigh. I would go back here over and over.

I had the most enjoyable, stress-free experience hosting my daughter's 5th birthday party at Rainbows. Allie took care of every single detail from decorations to food and drinks for our guests and everything in between. She even made the most beautiful party favors for our guests - intricately hand painted mugs with each child's name on the handle. We were blown away by how special these favors were. Allie and her team were able to keep our children (2 to 5 years old) engaged with painting and other activities the entire 3.5 hours which allowed the parents to enjoy painting, eating, and socializing during the party. Hard to say who had more fun, the adults or the children! We are already planning other events to host at Rainbows because we had such a great time. I highly recommend checking this place out whether you want to paint alone or with a friend or host your next event.

Well spent evening at Rainbows Pottery Studio. Wonderful and welcoming staff to greet and meet you in person. So nice staff taking care of us from the time we arrived, really appreciate it. This was our first experience and the process of knowing the Pottery and the steps were simple and straight forward. We had great fun painting a tiny cute elephant. My kids and I had an awesome time painting bowls, Santa and Home Decoration pieces. The studio was beautifully designed, cozy with lots of high quality pottery choices. Owner is super friendly and fun to chat with. It was a great experience for both the adult and children. Will definitely go there again!

We had the BEST experience at Rainbows. Allie and her entire team are so welcoming. She picked out the perfect to-go kit for our kids -- dragon and mermaid mugs (!!!), and our 4 kids had a blast painting them at home. Her studio is bright and beautiful, and we can't wait to go back.

I went to Rainbows Pottery Studio over the weekend with a few of my girlfriends. We had such a great experience painting our own pottery. The studio manager Drew was fantastic and very helpful with leading us the our experience. The space is also beautiful and well put together. I would totally recommend Rainbows Pottery Studio to anyone looking to spend a fun afternoon with family, friends, or a significant other. And i definitely will be coming back again soon. Also Allie the owner is truly amazing. I can see she and Drew put so much love in care into taking care of their guests

Allie and Drew are INCREDIBLE!! They both did amazing jobs at making sure we had a fantastic night and we were having so much fun. They’re super personable and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. I couldn’t recommend Rainbows more, it was such a fun and genuine experience. Can't recommend Rainbows highly enough. I have been living in Beacon Hill for more than five years, and didn't realize for the first four that there was a store front next door to Deluca's on Charles Street. The bright, welcoming, homey and creative design of the studio is a reimagining of the space so inventive and comprehensive that it is hardly recognizable from its predecessor. The result is a warm, family friendly environment that makes Rainbows a place that you want to spend time. Allie is a gracious host, and great with kids. The studio has an extensive collection of pottery pieces that everyone can choose something cool and unique to paint. My wife and I brought her 11 year old cousin and I think we had as much fun as she did.

My friends and I stumbled on Rainbows by happenstance during a night out in Boston this summer and it was one of the best memories this summer! The three of us painted matching owl bowls and they turned out amazing--Allie was so welcoming and friendly and it was so fun to create something so unique! We can't wait to go back soon :)

Absolute must go!! My boyfriend and I have been looking to spice up date night during covid, and this was the perfect place. Cannot speak enough to the ambiance- warm light and fabulous music and decor. On top of the ambiance, they had an amazingly curated selection of pottery, for both kids and adults which is usually super hard to find. Allie and Drew were the absolute best humans and made us feel so taken care of throughout the evening. Definitely recommend getting the charcuterie + wine package and bonus- Allie will pick out wine catered to your preference. In love with the place and people there and will be going all the time now. They were also super safe/sanitary for those worried about covid!

This place is awesome. The owner is one of the friendliest people you will meet, the events are fun, and the products are high quality. I got a custom-designed coffee mug there and could not be happier with the result. If you’re looking for something different to do for a date or want to have an event for you and some friends, I would suggest stopping by this place. Fun for all ages!

I can't speak enough to the quality of her work. I live in Austin, TX, and a really good friend gifted my girls a pair of hand-painted bowls by Allie. I mean, these bowls were clearly made with love. The amount of time she spent on each bowl just blows my mind. Every detail matters on these bowls. She even included the names of my fur-babies on the cat bowl. I wish I had a small business close by like Allie's because I would take my kids there in a heartbeat, every month. I don't know if she takes custom orders like mine on a regular basis, but, she should and I hope you consider her for yours. She packaged them with love, literally. Thank you, Allie!!! Easily the best Valentines day I have ever expierienced. My girlfriend and I encountered this place on a walk and checked it out. The employees were so kind and made us feel right at home. I never thought that I would enjoy painting this much, but I had a wonderful time. They served us a charcuterie board and everything. HIGHLY recommend.
