I came in town for a photoshoot An to meet Tyler Perry only Bec I have him on my vision board, well…..I wasn’t able to meet him and I’m very sad about that.😩 I was told due to Covid which is damnear over with that they’re not doing the tour’s right now so I had to sit An take pictures outside. The place looked very nice with a water fall. I am happy that I at least was able to see the place, just wished I was able to meet the one An only Mr. Perry. I won’t lie I was working up a plan on how to get past security…. I wanted to run pass security in my heels An all just to get in but it took everything in me to stay seated on the bench next to the waterfall. I ended up leaving but I’ll def be back an hope the next time I’m able to meet him An do the tour at least.

My mother and I visited the ATL in October 2022 and had the chance to visit The Tyler Perry Studio...Wow! So Beautiful! Unfortunately the touring won't begin until the Summer of 2023, we were only able to take pictures in the water fountain area. I can't wait until the Summer of 2023, my Mother and I will be back!

The staff was very professional and personable. The lot, not surprisingly because it's an old Army base, is enormous! The Oval building is beautiful! That lot is quarantined off but we could see it from where we were. Good is a wonder and he is using Tyler Perry to bless Atlanta. The Family Feud staff is amazing, a well oiled machine with heart!

My friend and I have made 3 trips from Grand Rapids, MI in an effort to to tour Mr. Perry's studio. We have not been successful, but I took advantage of the grounds we were able to enter and got some nice photos of me and my grandsons. The security guard was very nice and even took pictures of us. I feel a sense of pride and overwhelming joy when each time I visit because of what the studio was before Mr. Perry transformed it into hopes and dreams for our people (and others). God is so amazing. We have the victory through our Faith, and Mr. Perry is a man of unshakeable faith in an unshakeable God. I will be leaving here on Aug 30th, but before I go, I will again visit Tyler Perry (and the people) studios, in an attempt to go inside, if only for a peek. Sarah Hampton.

I’ve been here many times for work and fittings. Security is one of the best I have seen at the gate. If you are not on Production’s list, you are not getting in. They do not do tours for security reason but, I’m sure there might be exceptions to that rule. They don not seem to mind you taking pictures at the gate, just be mindful of people trying to get in for work. If you get the opportunity to be on campus, it is beautiful and you will definitely see some interesting things!

The grounds of the studio is beautiful. There is a big screen 📺 of upcoming shows that you can view. You can also take photos in front of the water fountain.⛲️ Make sure that you follow directions because some people were all in the street as cars 🚗 were driving around and a person came over the intercom saying please get out of the street for safety reason which is totally understandable. The funny things is it sound like Tyler Perry. 😂 😂 We never saw him though just workers but it was still a nice experience and your don’t have to pay anything for viewing the entrance of the grounds. I can’t wait until they make it where you look at the whole studio.

Great place to work on a show. They are strict on who can get in and where, which can be annoying at times, but you are never worried about someone breaking into or harming your belongings.

My husband and I are on a road trip and wanted to see the Tyler Perry Studio...of course it is closed because of COVID, but we were able to drive up to the entrance. We were greeted by a gentle giant. I had read a lot of negative reviews regarding the security and I must say our experience was very pleasant. Loved the interaction and respect. While there we were able to see some of the reasons why Security is needed. Come on now folks this is a business and u definitely would not be able to act in a negative manner at no other studios. You would be in prison if you did. Enough said

From the beginning when we got there, we were met by a nasty and very rude security officer. She was an older african-American lady and she was quite condescending to me and my mother. she told us that we were not allowed in as it being private property. But then she continue to say that we could not even take a picture at the main entrance in front of the gate with the sign that says Tyler Perry Studios. Not even a selfie. After that we drove around and we did take just one selfie so we can get a picture of the gate. On our way out of the studios, we were rear ended in an accident with another Tyler Perry Studios employee. We were rear ended and had to pull over on the side of the road with this person. we are from out of town and we had to use a car rental so we were on hold the car rental and we were waiting for the police for an hour and a half. But the gentleman who rear ended us, Mike, was a saint. He was patient enough to wait until the police came and offered us cold water since we were hot. After Mike and the police officer left, we discovered that our car battery was dead and would not start. We walked around for 20 minutes trying to find a bathroom and no one would even allow us to use the restroom. There was a deli nearby with a man Who refused to let us use his restaurant unless we agreed to pay for some thing first. we later called Mike back and he sent a friend Paul. Paul was kind enough to sharpen his pick up truck and give us a jumpstart so we can make it back to our hotel. Paul helped us jumpstart the car and even when my mom offered him a tip he refused to take the money. Despite some of the callousness we were faced with from other people around the area, the employees mentioned were really nice and helped us get back home. Big shout out to Paul and Mike. we’re really grateful for your help.

Some of these negative reviews are hysterical. Picking on the receptionist because Tyler won't make you famous. We all know we win more flies with honey, so instead of blasting the receptionist send him or her flowers or something from Edible Arrangements. Don't forget anyone that answers phones for a business gets blasted with sales call after sales call, and sometimes you have 16 phone calls on hold and only 4 of those calls are going to keep movies in production. So don't hurt those that are trying to help or help those trying to hurt. The work of this company has done nothing but good, so be on that team.

Hi i'm french and i'm a teacher. i live in guadeloupe a little island in french west indies. Our population endured slavery too and i use your movie to help people. Just to know we have a big museum "memorial act" about slavery. i like a lot what you do but some movies are not in french and without subtitle. So if you can do something for that, it will be amazing!!! There a dubbing studio in miami for that. it will be a good thing for you and french people. Some of your movies in french deliver message like "madea's family reunion" and "diary of a mad black woman". But "meet the brown"or i can do bad all by myself"... are not in french. So...thank you.
