They were able to come same-day that I called, when a broken spring had my truck trapped inside of my garage preventing me from leaving. I really appreciate that they take note of how stressful that can be, and make a priority to take care of your situation. An unexpected prompt (next day) service appointment after calling to explain the issue. Tech showed up as scheduled (after calling ahead to alert us). Quickly reviewed problem and made suggestion to resolve. Although pricey, new sensor parts did the trick. Second issue was likewise determined and after cost consultation with my boss (wife) that was also done. Time on site - under 1 hour and doors are working fine. Even re-educated about multi door operation from single remote. Great service and tech.

I highly recommend this company. Everyone from the initial scheduler to the service technician was very cordial and professional. The spring on my door broke and seemed in danger of falling on my car. They quickly dispatched a technician, a new part was immediately ordered and was installed. All was completed at a fair price. Put ‘em on speed dial in your contact list. This is one of those services you will eventually need and you can’t do better.

We had 2 doors installed in December 2021, that were ordered in October. The sales process by Scott was great. The initial install was a bit hit and miss. Evidently the tech did not have all the right parts, but never said anything. The only way I knew was a few weeks later I got a call to set up my service, which I knew nothing about. The doors are nice, but over rated. They are almost as noisy as the 20+ year old budget door they replaced. I just made a service appointment as the one door makes an awful banging noise which to me looks like they never did a good job positioning the door opener for the way the new door opens. We will see how the service appointment goes, but I suspect I will wind up redoing some of the they way the opener attaches to the door myself. Considering the price paid I was expecting more. My guess is the doors and this company are not better or worse than most of their competitors.

Even when we had some kind of issue, the team immediately took care of it in a display of great customer service. I've tried other, smaller local outfits only to be disappointed by their responsiveness and lack of resources. I highly recommend Overhead Door for your garage door needs.

Bobby showed up exactly when he said he would and diagnosed our garage door issue almost instantly. Luckily it was an easy fix and even something I can do myself, so he just turned the trip charge into a tune-up service for a very nominal fee. Very pleased with my experience so I'll definitely be calling Overhead Door again next time we need service.

The Overhead Door Company provided fast service when the spring snapped in my garage door leaving me and my vehicles trapped inside the house. I called them at 4:30 pm on a Thursday figuring I might be lucky to get them to come out in Friday. Instead, they showed up within 2 hours and had the springs replaced in 30 minutes. Even the price was reasonable. Excellent service!

I'm TOTALLY satisfied with Overhead Door, start to finish!! Brianna at Customer Service was great! Professional, courteous, and a good communicator - just the type of person I like to have working for me in my company! My service was scheduled for the very next day. Impressive. Randy, the Service Tech, was experienced, highly competent, thorough, professional, and expeditious. He kept me informed of what he was doing, and identified two installation problems (we are in a newer tract home,) and fixed them both. One was a VERY subtle issue where the door was being overlapped just a little bit by a board above the garage door, causing the door to hit the board before "snapping free." This was what was causing the loud "pop" noise I was concerned about. I could not be happier about the service, and the price for the "tune up" - of two garage doors - was very reasonable. I'd give 6 Stars if I could! THANK YOU!!

I had a scheduling issue initially with the appointment and Chris came out at a date/time when I was not home. The following morning I received a call from the supervisor with an apology for the mix-up and re-scheduling of the appointment to the original slot. I was extremely impressed with this sense of responsibility by the company. Chris came back at the originally scheduled time. He was extremely respectful, and performed routine maintenance on our two garage door openers, and helped re-program our existing remotes, and two new ones that I purchased. He answered all my questions and took the time to demonstrate how to re-program myself in case the code stopped working. He also re-programmed our outside the garage remote unit. He offered to help out with any re-programming questions. I texted him the following morning to re-program the opener for my wife who was away when Chris came by. He patiently responded to my multiple texts with questions, as I reprogrammed my wife's remote successfully. Overall, I was very impressed not only by the quality of service, but equally importantly care for the customer. Needless to say, I will be coming back for my future garage door opener needs.

Called a few different places and most of them used the same phone service. Overhead door company was different. It took a few more days to get someone out to help but, in the end, we were very happy. The spring on my garage door broke and I was not able to manually open the door. My car, lawn mower, and trash and recycle bins were trapped behind the broken garage door. I called Overhead Door Atlanta and they were able to send a service team the same day. I was very pleased to meet Stan Tate who is a garage door expert! Stan assessed the damage, ordered replacement springs, and more importantly opened the garage door so I was able to access my car. Stan returned to my house in five days with new springs. He installed the springs and aligned the garage door. The garage door works perfect! I recommend Overhead Door Atlanta and I highly recommend Stan Tate … he’s the best!

I didn’t receive a courtesy call when the technician hadn’t shown up within my 4 hour time slot. When he came I wasn’t home so I told him to open the garage and access my opener. When I got there he was putting the last screws to secure the new circuit board and told me the price if that worked. The price seemed steep for a new circuit board since I could buy a new unit for less. Reluctantly I paid since the work was done, but I called a competitor the next day and they quoted me $150 less for the same work. I have read good reviews, but I will probably go with a competitor next time that doesn’t up charge to cover the cost of vehicles, employees, etc.

In 2006, Overhead Door Company installed my two original garage doors, which have operated very well until recently when the remote and wall unit didn't seem to work in opening the doors. When Matt came to fix the problem, he explained that one door had been left on manual and the other door didn't work because cobwebs were covering the sensors. He charged me only a service fee. This proved what an honest, reliable and reasonably priced company Overhead Door is. Best in Atlanta.

Yes, it was simple, but I never would have found it nor been able to fix it myself. Then he checked both openers and made sure everything was in order. All for one service call fee. I had a spring that sprung on my garage door. I called about 10 in the morning and was told that they would be able to squeeze me in and someone would be out between noon and 4:00 p.m. I received a call about 2:30 p.m. from the technician that he would be at my house at 3:00 p.m. The tech arrived by about 3:15 p.m. The spring the sprung was an extension spring and quoted me the price to replace one and to replace two. I thought it was a different spring, that was more expensive to replace. I went ahead and replaced both springs since they were both over 20 years old and had not been replaced. I did not even have to move my car out of the garage. The tech replaced both springs in about 10 minutes. Fast and accurate. I would definitely recommend.

.. i waited on Sunday for my scheduled appointment between 10 and 2. About 1:30 i do a follow up to make sure someone is coming and they reported not having me on the books. They try and see if they can get someone out but of course they could not do so. They schedule another appointment for Tuesday. Monday i receive a call saying they would be here at 12:30 and it's now 1:46 with no call and no show. Gotta love customer service. I only went with this company because they did a good job the last time i used them but that was pre-pandemic but the post-pandemic effect definitely have mademe change my recommendations on this place.

I could not be more pleased with the experience from start to finish working with ODC, and Casey L, my installer. We're in a new-construction area, and the opener that came with the home was 'builder-grade' (at best, to be polite). I wanted a more-rugged, higher-end product that had wifi built-in and some more bells & whistles. ODC sent Casey out (they actually called Friday offering to send someone out on Saturday morning, three days before my appointment, but I passed and kept the original). Casey was on-time, professional, friendly, answered my questions and gave me the options that fit the criteria I wanted. He had the product on the truck and installed it then and there in roughly an hour. I heard about ODC from Dave Baker and the Home Fix-It show on WSB Radio, and I am so glad that I did. There's a reason this company has such high marks - they've earned them!

I am so disappointed with my visit. While scheduling was good and the tech arrived in the window, the pricing was sketchy at best. The price of one spring replaced was multiple hundred dollars. Ridiculous. It was like the threat of a return visit for a working part pushed me to spend more than I needed to. $100 more if I replace both springs. If I have to come back it will be another several hundred dollars. The prices felt like just want he wanted to tell me. Said they were standard but there was no for with prices, website or tablet with app that showed me any "standard prices". Also, offered a part to fix where the door connected to the opener arm. Then when he brought it from the truck told me it would be $50 for a part that looked to be $20 retail at best. Yep way more than I wanted to spend for 2 springs. Next, my garage door is screaming when it opens and shuts much louder than before it was touched. Lastly, one spring of the 2 replaced, looks twisted and cranked when compressed while the other looks straight. I have filled out 2 surveys. UPDATE- manager called. Sent a tech back out to adjust door. Tech was very nice. Manger said they should have offer to show me the standard pricing they carry with them. Also offered to help me feel like I did not overpay. I declined and just thanked him for calling me. I feel better about this company now.

They were so quick to come out to diagnose what was wrong with my old, tired, noisy and shuddering door. While I had hoped it would be a fix, it ended up being a full replacement. They didn't hard sell me, but clearly explained what the 'band-aid' fix would get me vs biting the bullet and replacing the whole thing. Yes using them is more than DIY at Home Depot, but I know we didn't want to mess with DIY. So we picked a date for the replacement (unfortunately that appointment was 2 weeks out), and when that day came, a great tech came out and quickly replaced the door, its hardware and the opener for me. The new door is now insulated, quiet and has windows (such an improvement on the dark old garage). I've now had it for 3 days, and love it! Thanks, Overhead Door!

My revised star ranking is now 4 stars….Update since original post…A few things did happen but no resolution was offered, the Manager for the entire residential section called, told Harold my whole story he was to investigate and call back, that was 10 days ago…Once again this company not living up to what they want us consumers to think, they say on their website Reputation is everything, don’t believe it….Secondly you see the response at bottom of my post mentioned they wanted me to send a valid contact number, I did and haven’t heard from them yet either!…I had to pay another company Precision of Atlanta to put in another opener even though ODC of Atlanta installed the original and it was under warranty…..I am disappointed to have to write this review, but the public needs to be made aware of the problems this company is having. I have a complete door opening system with this company that is less than two years old. I have also had two other properties that used this company in the last 12 years. A drive cog broke in the opener unit and may need replacing though it is less than two years old. This company sent a tech here a week ago and charged $231 to Not fix the door. He pulled the operator unit off the wall determined the part inside was broken. Said office would get quote on repair cost. They didn’t call all week, finally today was able to talk to customer service they said couldn’t get quote because supplier wouldn’t tell them the price( sounds like they need another supplier).But not call me all week is unacceptable. For them to have a new system installed at my house that won’t last two years is unacceptable. I am looking around for other companies now that wants to work with me and put in a reliable system. Overhead Door of Atlanta does not have a reliable product or timely service to offer customers at this time.

One of the springs/coils on my garage snapped. I attempted to fix it myself based on using a few YouTube clips. The situation only got worse and, at times, dangerous. My wife, after two days of letting me try it myself, finally convinced me to call a professional. I hesitated because my neighbor paid a tremendous amount to get the same issue fixed. I called Overhead Door and they came out early the next day (a Saturday) and fixed everything within 30 minutes and charged me $400 less than what my neighbor paid to fix his. The technician was not arrogant and very friendly. He was kind enough to even make me feel better about what I did accomplish and he did not "upsale" me on anything. In 2022, this type of efficiency and kindness is extremely rare. I will definitely turn to them first for any future issues.

The workmanship has always been solid and communication with both staff for scheduling and the on-site personnel have been good. The Technician, Erik Ruhl, came in and very quickly diagnosed the problem and immediately got the replacements springs and all of his tools set up for a very efficient repair. He then like lubricated the rollers and hinges and completed the job by adjusting the door for proper operation. Excellent service by an excellent technician. We had requested a technician from a prior repair, Monsioh Doh, for the repair. He was off that Saturday. These two technicians have demonstrated the excellence that customers hope for when repairs are required. We will request either of these technicians for future repairs.

Well, when one of our garage doors was backed into (I won't say which one but I will say that it wasn't the one on "my" side of the garage ;0) the day before we'd be going out of town, I was fairly certain we'd have to leave it as closed as possible (which wasn't very closed) and hope for the best. But, when I called Overhead Door Company of Atlanta, the dispatcher put in an emergency request (based on the fact our home was unsecured without a working/closable garage door), and promised it would be secured before the end of the day. I was also certain that we would be able to use the garage door and that it would have to be replaced asap. But, once again, I was wrong. The repairman not only got it working, he got it pieced back together enough to be functional and even gave me an estimated time frame of how long I could wait before spending the $ to replace both doors (because they really needed replacing anyway...the accident just hastened things a bit). He also gave me the price for several different options (which were considerable less than I expected, based on what I was seeing from the big box home improvement stores) and how long I could expect it to take for each option and what would be replaced in the process. So, I'll also be ordering our new doors from Overhead as well. Overall, a wonderful, prompt and effective experience. I would highly recommend them.

My garage door broke on a Sunday afternoon. I went to their website and requested service for Monday (next day). To my surprise... A representative called me around 8:00am on Monday morning and stated that they were en route to my house. Great!!! I had a wood garage door from when the house was built. It was starting to sag, and generally not holding up well - did you know on a wood door the screws and bolts keep coming loose as the wood swells and contracts? I had a tech come out for a tune up, and I had him spec out a new insulated steel door. I bought it and in about three weeks the team came out for the install. The team was wonderful, and they put together all the fittings, new track, new springs and programmed my opener in a matter of hours. The team was professional and knew their business working as a team and very efficient. They even used a magnet broom to find any dropped bolts, screws or nuts on the garage floor. They hauled away the old door and the new door makes quite an improvement in noise reduction and temperature. I highly recommend and would do it again in a heart beat

I have used Overhead Door Co. three times and my experience has always been outstanding. The service people sent out have always been really nice and do a great job. No problems after they leave so never had to call them back and always inspect my door while they are there. Not the cheapest around but as with anything you pay for the knowledge, craftsmanship, and to have your problem solved. I would, and have, recommend Overhead for any and all garage door problems.

I damaged our door and Overhead tech Richard P. came out and got it closed. However, it needed to be replaced and an Overhead team responded promptly with the new door. Layne Fields was the lead installer along with Chris Senna, team leader, and Chris Jones, installer. They came early and were quick to assess what needed to be done. They removed the old door, installed the new door and walked me through all the information I needed to operate it. All the while, they were industrious but, even more, they were friendly and professional. It is rare to find professionals who can efficiently do their job and, at the same time, be so enjoyable to be around. Overhead Door must be a great company because all their employees have been this way. Layne, Chris and Chris were just a great example.
