Loved this place! I soooo am not artistic so I kinda dreaded doing this with my granddaughter. But I have to tell you. The folks there were super helpful with suggesting really easy techniques and after a awhile I was all on board with having fun!

Welcoming and helpful staff. Kid friendly, and they have adult and child classes for reasonable prices for a few hours of time which is a big bonus to me. I love giving my kid an oppirtunity to be creative and make something for a relative and this is a good outlet for it. The pottery options include both seasonal and more generic options. Pottery is fired on site and they contact you for pickup on completion.

Very kind staff! Love painting at this shop, just beware if you prefer masked staff and guests, because this is not the place! We were literally the only guests in masks with a full venue! We probably should have gone in a less busy day, but had promised my husband for a few weeks we'd make time to go that specific day!

I love the staff, the environment, and of course - the painting! Staff are friendly, compassionate, accommodating, and professional. Owner is all these things and more!!! This is my favorite place to go when I need to have some "me time" or fun time with friends and/or the kiddos. Prices are affordable as well. This place is a real gem!

I visited this place the other day with my daughter and two grandchildren, 7 and 3 years old. We had no idea what this place was about but heard it’s was a lot of fun. As soon as we walked inside we were greeted right away. The place is very clean, brightly lit and very well laid out. Wendy was so nice and helpful, patient and sweet to the children. The kids took to her right away. She was quick to show us the process and offered great suggestions. There is so much to see and do it’s hard to describe. If you want to have fun expressing your creativity in a calming environment or spend some quality time with your friends or family, you must visit this place! If your tired of wondering what gift to get a someone or something just for yourself, something totally original this is also the place! Thank you Wendy for making our afternoon awesome. We are looking forward to seeing our final works of art!

I enjoyed myself so much here. I went in by myself so I was a little nervous. The owner Windy made me feel welcome and comfortable. Her staff are also very knowledgeable and friendly. Hannah has a great personality! I will go every time I’m in town!

Although it has a small parking area, the customer service is great, very helpful, friendly and relaxing. Also accommodates to little ones too! I've brought my baby in multiple times when he was 2 months old and they made me feel that we weren't a nuisance. The projects I did came out just in time with no problems. The owner is a VERY welcoming lady and not judgemental at all.

If I could do half Stars, it would be a 4.5. the service was friendly, helpful and all around awesome, the environment was clean, prices were reasonable. They offered to ship my purchase out to me so I could avoid a 2-hour drive (total). The only reason they did not get a full 5 Stars is because they forgot my shipment for about a week. But immediately apologized and offered to cover shipping. So again, 4.5 stars from me if I could. I will definitely be coming back and encouraging any of my friends to do the same.

Such a fun place. This was my first time going to a place like this. Brought my toddler to color a mug for his grandpa. Such a cute sight and wonderful memory. You can choose from a wide range of items to paint. They have a large variety of paint colors to choose from.This place is so relaxing and peaceful. If you ever needs some time to yourself I highly recommend this place. You will not regret it. It's near house of bread off old Seward highway. Will definitely be going back and finding another item to paint

Reserved the party room for our party of 9, half small children and half adults. Party attendant was extremely helpful, especially with our little kiddos. Everyone really enjoyed the experience and the service was fantastic!

5 of us went Fathers day 2012 ,3 kids 7-12 yrs old and 2 adults and besides me not being artistic it was fun. I do suggest you have a idea what type of project you want to take on because I was blindsided by the options available and approached sensory overload. Guys, My wife remarked over and over how glad she was I suggested we go there, I think I may have even gone up a rung on the awesome husband/father ladder.

I don't know what Lynette is talking about but it's not based in any fact whatsoever. I have been going to CMM for over 2 years now so I'm going to go out on a limb and say that I probably have a better grip on how it's operated as opposed to some broad from Minneapolis who is basing a whole business on one visit. Lynette - I'm sure they super appreciate your business advice about their hiring practices and general operations - I'd total listen to some random person with no business experience as opposed to a business model that's worked just fine for years with no complaints. If you're the only one complaining...maybe you're not a revolutionary - maybe you're just whining. Ever consider that? You probably used too much water on your piece, which can effect how the paint comes out during kiln firing. The ceramic pieces suck up water and paint because it's really porous. It can create a kind of water color effect if you aren't careful. And that's just me speaking from common sense. Science. And before you accuse a business of watering down their product, maybe do some research. That's a pretty serious accusation to level. The owner spends tons on high quality paint that I've seen the girls physically open fresh every time. The bottles aren't doctored. And because of the price per bottle, yeah, they regulate the paint per customer. It's more expensive for us to get goods and services in Alaska. The reason the staff doles out the paint is so some like yourself doesn't hoard a bunch of it and ruin it for other customers. And since your piece came out water-color-like anyway - I'm going to assume you're part of the paint wasting problem, anyway. Maybe next time you decide to complain, consider that it might be JUST YOU. Sorry the popular venue got busy and the staff got busy and weren't able to kiss your ass and treat you like a pretty, pretty special snowflake. On a more positive note - this is an amazing business and lots of fun. It's relaxing and I cannot imagine a better atmosphere and staff. Lots to paint and do and the staff is amazing about helping and teaching new painting techniques. I've made amazing gifts and pieces for my home that I will treasure for years. Stay in Minneapolis, Lynette. We're doing just fine here in Alaska without your self indulgent whining.
