The entire staff was very friendly and professional. The doctor was also very kind, fun, and thorough. This was my first time having to get glasses and the experience was comfortable and productive. I was seen at the Middletown, DE location on Main Street. Everyone was nice, friendly, professional and down to earth. Even the provider, Dr. Gardner I believe his name was, was great. He took great care when examining my eyes, especially when he saw a concern. He erred on the side of caution to not dilate my eyes because of this which I appreciate. The lady at the front desk who checked out my chart was extremely patient with me while we figured out why my FSA card was declined. Turns out it was a very easy fix once I figured out the problem. She never judged me and was very patient with me. I’m definitely returning there for my eye care. Note: I work in healthcare myself. So, as I read other reviews, I’d like to note that it is ALWAYS the patient’s responsibility to find a provider that accepts their insurance. The patient needs to check with their insurance carrier to find a provider in network PRIOR to an office visit. Never ever schedule an appointment with an office before checking first if that provider is covered under your insurance.

So patient and kind. I see my doctor at the Fox Run office but come here or Pike Creek for my glasses. Kathy and Maura are so patient with my family. They make wonderful recommendations and do their best to accommodate us. Thank you gals so much.

Excellent service. Staff checked all our insurance co pays and told up front what charges would be. Competitive prices for glasses and nice selection of frames. Appointment was quick but thorough. Would definitely recommend them. Update 9-26 Hubby's and my glasses came in quickly. Very happy with them ( and he's pretty particular : ). Quick pick up. Were a busy family and I felt like they made sure to not waste any of our time. Best eye Dr experience we've had.

I have been a patient of Simon Eye since 1985. They have always treated me with fairness and respect. Anytime I needed my glasses adjusted they would take care of them immediately. They also would adjust my mother's glasses who was not a patient of Simon Eye. I only had 2 experiences I was not happy with the optometrist since 1985. I highly recommend this group.
