We have been visiting Dr. McReynolds at West County Vision Center for years. Her entire team is professional and she is very thorough. I often have trouble getting the right contact lens in my right eye because of astigmatism and she is extremely patient and keeps trying options until we find the correct lens. She is also great with our young kids. I highly recommend them.

Dr. McReynolds spent a LOT of time with me over several visits to make sure I was comfortable with the prescription we finally agreed upon. She was recommended to me by a very well known eye surgeon in St. Louis. I'm glad he recommended her because for the first time in a long time, I am 100% comfortable with my eye doctor!

Everyone was responsive and helpful, not only about the exam and treatment but also with costs and insurance. It seems like everyone was trying to do a good job. I felt like they all treated me like an individual with specific issues. Very good acknowledgement of other health issues that could affect vision. Dr. McReynolds was very good. Thorough and patient and took the time to do what was needed without rushing. She certainly seems to be comfortable in high gear but it was very easy to interact with her and I didn't feel rushed or hurried. She answered all my questions and didn't rush through or gloss over anything which is important. She explained what she thought about everything very well.

I'm new-ish to town and chose West County Vision Center because of their pile of great reviews. And I'm glad I did. Dr. McReynolds was friendly and knowledgable. She identified a potential issue and her team got me set up with a follow up appointment with a retina specialist that same afternoon, where a torn retina was identified and fixed with a quick laser surgery. Greatly appreciative of her extra effort to ensure I was taken care of and informed through the entirety of the process.

Had a great experience at West County Vision Center! Each staff member takes their time with you every step of the way. I was quickly greeted by the front desk, then shortly afterwards, Dr. McReynolds came out to see me and said she would be with me shortly. I met the optician who helped me chose frames that would go with my face shape and skin complexion. The equipment used in the exam rooms are new and accurate technology. Dr. McReynolds is the best. For years I had been diagnosed with macular degeneration. My dad had it so it wasn't a surprise. When I first saw Dr. McReynolds 6 months ago seeking a second opinion on my cataracts I was so impressed with everything about her practice, that I switched to her. Her staff tested my eyes using MRI technology and after spending quite a bit of time with me going over the meaning of the test results, she determined that I don't have macular degeneration after all, but rather macular pucker, a less onerous condition. I still have to monitor my condition on a regular basis, but no more AREDS2 for me. Dr. McReynolds is by far the best eye doctor I've ever seen!

Being a new resident in St. Louis, I needed to have a routine eye exam for new contacts, and discovered West County Vision Center. I cannot express my deep appreciation enough for Dr. McReynolds and her staff. What a journey! First thing she said to me was, we need to do something about those eyelids, they're blocking your vision. So, it began. Dr. McReynolds is without a doubt the best optometrist I have ever been to. She realized my pathology and referred me to the professionals that were able to resolve my issues... to the point that I can now see the individual leaves on trees and not just green "stuff". It was an 18 month journey, but everyday, when I look out the window, I thank her again and again for her knowledge, kindness, empathy and patience. I have not seen this well for over 25 years! Thank you so very, very much for everything that you've done for my husband's and my vision.
