The optometrist - Dr. Kovacs - is obviously very skilled and thorough. He was also adept at communicating during and after the exam, in terminology that I could easily understand (which is rare). Jackie answered my initial call. Her attentive and helpful manner set the tone for what proved to be a very positive overall experience with Pearle. Niketa responded to my inquiry which was: can Pearle provide lenses for a new designer frame that I purchased on-line? (I would provide my Rx.) She asked all the appropriate questions, provided specific and clear responses regarding options, pricing, conditions, delivery time, etc. Later that day in the shop, she was thorough and intent on writing the order to provide the options that I elected only after full discussion of each possible choice. It was a pleasure to work with Niketa. The frame with new lenses was ready six days later (a week earlier than expected). Jackie and John assisted with minor adjustment to assure that the glasses fit properly. The lenses were well crafted and vision results good! My experience at Pearle: professionalism and excellent customer service from first contact to delivery of lenses with very good cost and quality result. A well managed shop! Well Done! Thank you!

My appointment at Pearle Vision was awesome. Everyone there went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. The eye doctor did an amazing job at letting me know what was going on every step of the way, she was so nice. I would recommend anyone to go here. Cassidy did a great job at helping me pick out my frames as she was very friendly. They also carry some of the best eyeglass frames at a reasonable price. This is the perfect place to go for anyone needing their vision checked and eyeglasses at a reasonable price. Great job ladies!

After an incident at my first appointment on Monday, I called back to see if I could see Dr. Anderson. They didn't give me any trouble, and said I could come back Wednesday to see her. Fantastic experience with both John and Dr. Kovacs. Both are extremely knowledgeable. John spent all the time I needed to help find the best glasses at the best price. Dr. Kovacs spent time reviewing my retinal scan, my vision in each eye, explaining the reason I was having difficulty on computers. He is a superb optometrist with the ability to explain vision abnormalities. After the exam, with the knowledge of my needs, John was expert in helping me decide on lenses and frames. Overall I rate this visit as outstanding, highly recommend this Pearl Vision site. I know i will use this location for my needs in the future and will have family members use this facility as well.

Dr. Bequette was helpful explaining the exams she was performing, how my eyes were responding, and how that may be leading to frequent headaches. John helped me find an affordable pair of glasses that I actually like. My only complaint is that there is not a large selection of more affordable frames with my insurance plan.

My daughters went in for contact lens fitting, and we had an excellent experience. Rashonda and Renee were very knowledgeable, and the manager, Rand, made everything work together. She is an expert at getting the most from our insurance plan. We didn’t have appointments, but everyone worked as a team to get us in without bumping any other customers from their appointments. It saved us a lot of time. Other businesses should take a lesson from how well this Pearle Vision store is run. Our compliments to the owner and the team. We will certainly be back.

Best Pearl in town! I've been being treated by Dr. Anderson for many years. She is very knowledgeable and genuinely cares for my eye health. She gives a very extensive exam. Which I greatly appreciate. I have recommended Dr. Anderson to my own family and friends. She is great at what she does! I was totally bummed when I couldn't re-order another pair of the Vogue frames I currently have since they were discontinued. When I went into the store to look for a different pair of frames, Niketa found my exact Vogue frames in an off brand knock off - it's amazing how similar they are to my current frames. The checkup was quick and easy and the doctor was really nice and explained everything. The checkout process was miserable. It took longer to checkout than to see the doctor. The location is clean and super convenient. Prices on the frames are not clearly marked and the discussion on insurance application was not transparent either, until I got printed paperwork. Overall I would go back. I hope they figure out their broken processes though.

The doctor was extremely condescending and rude to me during the examination. During the examination, I spent about 2 hours fitting contact lenses, with no success so I did not get them. Six months later now, I call to get my contact lens prescription (I paid for the fitting!!!) and they said that the prescription was not signed off because I was not shown how to "put in the lenses" and now I must go back to the office for another fitting before they will even fax me my contact lens prescription. Worst experience ever. Update: Upon calling back to ask if I needed to make an appointment, I expressed my frustration and was informed the store is doing a "great job" and that they were "doing me a favor" by not charging me for additional visits, and that I could complain all I wanted about the way this has been handled but they're doing fantastic. I was then asked just to go to a different store- all for trying to get MY prescription. I don't know who taught these people how to interact with customers, but they need to be trained again. Deplorable experience- I have never been so disrespected in my entire life. Update: The corporate location called me and was very gracious in helping to sort things out. I really appreciated them reaching out to me and helping me get what I needed. They were very polite and apologized for the issues I had.

I happily recommend Pearle Vision Richmond Heights. I’ve been coming here for years but today was my first time to get glasses. At my exam Dr. Anderson was so caring and also so professional. She had many great suggestions for good eye health. Rebecca looked up my coverage and got me right in for a fitting. Moriah explained my options and gave good suggestions for adjusting to my glasses. Amazing customer service! I had an awesome eye exam with the latest technology. Purchased contact lenses and got a rebate. Went in a couple of months later to purchase a new pair of glasses. DaShawn helped me pick out a new pair and adjusted them for me. I was in and out in fifteen minutes! She even followed up with a phone call to make sure everything is fine. I highly recommend. So I was joking with my daughter when Dr. Bequette came right up to me and asked about my daughter’s symptoms. I began to tell her what was going on, with all the confidence in the world she told me that she would take good care of her! Low and behold my 19yo baby got her first pair of glasses! The selection of glasses was too much to choose from! With my good eye and my kid fashion sense we decided on Kate Spade!! Our helper Moriah made life and my pocket extremely happy!!! Most important thing for potential customers to know: this place charges 20-30% more than LensCrafters, for several exact same frames. High index, anti reflective lenses are similarly more expensive - without actually purchasing glasses at both locations, I can't say for certain whether the lenses are of exactly equivalent quality. However, frames are certainly marked up for some of the exact same Coach and Burberry models. This is not the fault of the staff, and the staff here do a very good job of walking you through the process. When they quoted me $1200+ for two pairs and I was shocked, they went back through the (apparently not very user friendly) ordering system to try and get me a better deal, and double check there were no overcharges. When that didn't change the price, they were also patiently happy to check the price difference if I didn't get anti-reflective coating. For anyone who has medical insurance but declined to buy up specific vision coverage, try to run your medical insurance anyway. LensCrafters made this suggestion to me and it saved a few hundred more in addition to their cheaper retail prices - one exact same pair and the other a similar frame by the same designer (and with AR coating) came out to about $500 less, all told.

I didn't have an appointment when I called, but after I mentioned that I had a chemical burn in one eye, I was told that an appointment wasn't necessary and they would see me immediately. Dr. Anderson addressed my condition and then worked me into her schedule the following day to review my progress. Great ending to a bad situation. Their attention and concern is greatly appreciated.

I just had THE BEST experience here. The staff was very welcoming upon walking in the door. They instructed me on what to do and were patient with me. I had my daughter's with me (2y/o & 9y/o), and i forgot to bring my stroller. So, my two year old was getting restless and i had to accomodate her constantly, which made for a more timely process on my end. But, my associate, Alyssia, was pleasant and helpful the entire time. She made the visit smooth and was very knowledgable. I had a great Doctor, Bernard Kovacs, corrected a prescription that had been four steps too high practically my entire life! I broke my glasses last night and was worried they wouldn’t be able to be repaired in enough time for work. I took them into Pearle Vision today and met with Lashawn Perkins who was able to take the prescription lenses out of my broken frames and put them into the frames I had brought in- on the spot!!! Not only was she efficient and professional, but she was warm and approachable- and I remember her being that way last time I was there to purchase my original glasses. Thanks to Lashawn I will be able to see at work tomorrow!!!! I will definitely return to Pearle Vision, Richmond Heights in the near future.
