I stopped in on vacation to have my sunglasses adjusted and Sean, the assistant manager, went above and beyond. Not only was he very friendly and happy to adjust my glasses, he was extremely attentive to detail and made my glasses feel new again. It was the most caring and thorough adjustment I’ve ever had- and that’s including the boutique optical stores I typically purchase my glasses from and use for regular maintenance. I highly recommend this location and if I was local I would not hesitate to make them my optical home.

The doctor was courteous, and very knowledgeable about his profession. He did everything he could to diagnose the proper prescription for my eyesight. I was very pleased with his service. He answered all my questions and gave me great advice to understand what was going on with my eye health. I am sure that once my glasses arrive, I will be seeing a lot clearer in my profession on the road.

Traveling through Salt Lake City on vacation and a lens popped out of my friend’s glasses. We stopped at City Creek LensCrafters and Courtney fixed the bent frame and got the lens back in within minutes. She then polished the lenses and we were on our way. Courtney is awesome! Thank you so much!

I had two pairs of my favorite sunglasses that needed to be repaired. One of the pairs, I considered throwing away because I didn’t think there was a possibility that they could be fixed. I was referred to LensCrafters to get them fixed. I was so pleasantly surprised that they were able to fix both pairs in just a few minutes. They were repaired to their “new” condition! When I asked how much the repair fee was, they told me there was no charge. Such a bonus! I didn’t even purchase my sunglasses there either. The staff was kind and friendly too!

Very good customer service, they helped me pick out frames and gave me discounts since i was out of network, ending up cheaper than in network. Also managed to pry my prescription out of Walmarts iron grip when they wouldn't give it to me. Scott was nice conversation while I waited as well.

We love the City Creek LensCrafters so much that we travel down from Heber City every year, for the last 3 years, for our family eye exams and glasses updates for all four of us. I know it’s a lot of work with all of us needing glasses, but they are always patient with us and very friendly and helpful. So happy with our experience. Came here to get my 9 year old’s eyes examined by ION and to get glasses from LensCrafters. Dr Eastman with ION was fantastic and great with my son and was very thorough. When it came time to picking glasses with LensCrafters, Laura was so incredibly helpful, fun and personable. I had A LOT of questions and she answered every one of them. She was a lot of fun and made it a great experience for my son who has never had glasses. To top it off, Sean was a rockstar and went out of his way to craft the lens and get his glasses ready just 15 minutes later because they already had them at the store!! I’ve had glasses almost all of my life and have never been able to walk out of the store with them on the same day. LensCrafters went above and beyond to make this an awesome and memorable experience for us. My son is so happy!

Nonetheless, he was a miracle worker and got them back to its original shape and fit. I needed to have my sunglasses (2 pair) adjusted. One pair was missing the nose piece and the other pair became so loose I was unable to wear them. I happened to walk by The LensCrafters at City Creek while on a walk. I had never been in this store before. Sean, Assistant Manager, immediately offered his assistance. Not only did he fix both pair free of charge, he also thoroughly cleaned them. They are expensive glasses so I was happy to see that he made them brand new again! I looked around the store to see an excellent selection of frames. The space itself is immaculate and very clean. My son needs glasses and I will soon enough. We will be back. I cannot say enough about how professional Sean was. I cannot recommend this store enough. Thanks for making my day!

I had an excellent experience at this beautiful store! Laura was so patient while I tried pair after pair of glasses on. Her fun personality and knowledge of styles made finding the perfect pair of glasses far less painful than when I usually shop for glasses. I also appreciated that Laura and Sean were wearing masks and cleaning each pair of frames that were touched or tried on by customers. Bottom line: if you need glasses, go to Lens Crafters at City Creek and ask for Laura or Sean.These two really know their stuff and they both deserve a raise!

My glasses broke on Friday, I'm blind as a bat and need them for work. I don't even have my prescription. I showed up Saturday morning right when they opened. The Assistant Manager, was personable, professional, it was obvious he cared about me being able to make it to work on Monday. He didn't try to upsell me on something I didn't need. At the end he found me the PERFECT pair frames and seriously made my day. You pay for what you get and at Lenscrafters you get even a little more then that.

Honestly the best experience I have had in my life everyone was super friendly and very knowledgeable! I have had corrected lenses for most of my life but my husband at 38 years old just got his first pair of glasses and they made him feel so excited to be getting them. He had so many questions I’ll be honest I was getting annoyed but the entire staff never once acted in a negative way or made him feel ashamed with how many questions he had it was awesome!

I did not have my glasses made at LensCrafters, but when I had trouble with my prescription, my eye doctor suggested I go there for their service of making a mock up of the correct prescription. Courtney who answered the phone and helped me on my arrival was very accomodating. Then Scott Guymon, the Optician, spent at least 20 minutes with me explaining what the problem might be with my glasses and several options for how to proceed. Neither my eye doctor or anyone where my glasses were made explained the meaning of the numbers in my prescription or what my problem actually was, like he did. In the future I will go to LensCrafters for their superior service and concern for my success in seeing the world!

I must say! Came in here expecting to pay and arm and a leg for some glasses 🤓. But to my surprise they had such great and affordable deals. My insurance helped of course, but none the less. Such great service was given by Scott! He was amazing, explained everything, gave great opinions of color for glasses. Friendly and easy to work with. these guys really proved themselves as extremely knowledgeable and there to help in any way i needed. dr. hayes (the optometrist in the back, at ion vision) was super friendly and easy to work with and helpful in giving me my prescription. i went back out to the lens crafters desk thinking i knew what kind of lenses i wanted (but first time glasses, haha). danielle suggested i get anti-reflective coating, and progressive lenses (as my prescription suggested) but i was like, nah! that’s not what i want. she was so friendly and understanding and just said, okay! but try on these two pairs in the mirror first just to see what i mean. i immediately agreed and decided on getting the anti-reflective coating. but i held stubborn on not getting progressives, and she understood my reason, and kindly put the order in. then the lenses came and i realized i needed the progressives (ruh-roh!). scott was super friendly and sat down with me, precisely, patiently, and kindly answering all my questions, and describing some various options from that point forward (which included returning the lenses i’d just bought!). he said “no rush, take your time thinking it over, and when you’re ready to talk more come on back”. when i went back, i was bummed to find that neither danielle nor scott were there. instead there was somebody else, sean, who i hadn’t met and who didn’t have my backstory. but sean was super friendly and sat down with me and was able to catch up easily, and answer my new questions in a caring and personable way. he inadvertently gave me new things to think about. so when i came back, i was excited to find sean, and danielle there to help me. they BOTH sat down with me, for about an hour, and enthusiastically answered my questions, collaborating between each other to figure out a best option, while explaining to me the pros and cons of the different potential lens materials. it was so interesting and fun because it brought up curiosities and an interest in the science, and they seemed excited that i was asking so many questions, and seemed to have fun answering them. sean then took the time to print out my different options and figure out the price difference for each one, considering what i had already paid for the lenses i was returning (and you get to keep the original lenses until the new ones come in). in the end, i ordered the right lenses, had fun, learned a ton, AND made some new friends.

I stopped by this LensCrafters when I was in town for the weekend at the beginning of the month to see if I could get a new pair of glasses that I didn't love adjusted. I met Shawn, an employee new to this location, and let me tell you HE IS GENIUS! He is truly gifted at his craft. If you had asked me before, I would not have thought that fitting someone with glasses is a craft, but now that I know Shawn, I know that it is. He is passionate about his job, and he is really good at it. He adjusted my glasses and helped me like them a whole lot better. But that wasn't enough for him; he wanted me to love my glasses. When I asked what he might recommend instead, after listening to my concerns, he went to the display, grabbed one pair of glasses and handed them to me to try on, and I LOVED THEM right away. He helped me determine that I could swap them for only and additional $18 and change, so that was a no brainer. I was so impressed with Shawn and his level of care of service that I flew back to Salt Lake this past weekend so that he could fit my new pair once they had my own prescription lenses. (I work for an airline so I fly free. Not a hard choice....) If you are lucky enough to live in Salt Lake, stop by to see Shawn. Have him adjust your glasses. Appointment wait time was never long for me, and the doctors were ready to see me within 5 minutes of each arrival, unlike many other doctor practices that make you wait 20 minutes after you arrive.
