What a great experience, as a new customer everyone that took me through the exam process was quick to tell me about thier specific part of the process. Explaining what the equipment did and how it was relevant to me and my examination. No more cookie cutter box store optical exams for me with the high pressure sales person disguised as part of the doctors staff. The night before my exam my 17 month old granddaughter did a number on my current pair of glasses. I brought the lenses and frame in so they could get my current prescription, they took the frame and lenses, put them back together so i didn't have to use an older prescription pair until new ones arrived. Tell me that the box store optical department staff would have gone that extra mile... I found my new place for glasses and eye exams. Thanks Millard Family Eyecare!

Doctor is very good if a test isn’t what she is looking for they do it over to make sure they have a good comparison from the previous test. Saying I’m impressed with this practice would be an understatement. From the assistants to seeing Dr. Ellen Weiss, everyone was friendly and pleasant. The technology they have in office isn’t like anything I’ve ever seen before. The advancement is amazing! Additionally, Dr. Weiss discovered my prescription has been pretty wrong for the past 2 years (given by a different provider in a different state). Having a new, correct prescription feels wonderful and I am so grateful for her help. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Dr. Weiss knows what she is doing. She has a lot of awards and is affiliated with some great organizations. I trust her to give me a good preventative review for my very small prescription. That being said if you don't have any real eye problems, I'd skip this place. It's huge, there is plenty of staff; however, they take years getting you through. Two hours for an annual checkup is insane. I also feel like they are plugging optical reps left and right in there. Then you are pushed to order glasses on the spot. With the advancement of the internet, it's just unnecessary and insanely overpriced. If you value you your time, I'd just go to Costco in the future. Quick, easy and the same amount of accuracy.

First time getting an eye exam. Dr., receptionist, eye glass person, were all very professional and helpful. The Dr. explained the exam results to me in detail which was nice. The only thing was I spent a little more money than I planned, but I'd chaulk that up to my first time. I spent about $300 after insurance for the upgraded exam and the best glasses they could get me. The building was very nice on the inside and the equipment all appeared to be cutting edge technology and in great condition. I'd definitely recommend to anyone, would just suggest to be prepared for paying a little for glasses even after insurance. I know I could get glasses cheaper elsewhere, but I felt like I could trust them more to get it perfect.

I cannot say enough about the quality of the exam and the care taken by the doctors, interns and entire staff. I suffer from chronic dry eyes and I am borderline diabetic both of which can cause eye health to deteriorate over time. Not only do they explain the how's and why's of how these things can affect vision and eye health (which nobody ever did before), but they also take the time to listen and offer proactive solutions to stop or slow symptoms and complications. Dr. Dakulich is extremely knowledgeable and caring. The entire staff has been friendly and taken a great deal of time with me no matter whether it be questions about the exam and my eye health, insurance benefits, frames, or contacts. They have convenient hours so I can easily get there after my work hours or on Saturdays. They stand by what they sell as well. My glasses ordered there have always been perfect, but this time I noticed a very tiny scratch on one lens...they apologized, took ownership and stated they will re-order new lenses right away. My step son had glasses broken at school and they quickly took care of that at no charge as well. They go over and above in all ways...even giving me a bottle of eye glass cleaner at no charge and letting me know they refill them for free. I have gone to every chain you can imagine over the years for exams, glasses and contacts...Walmart, Lenscrafters, Target, Pearl, Visionworks...you name it...and I have never had the in-depth exam, explanations and concerns for my satisfaction as with Millard Family Eyecare. As long as I live in the Omaha area...I will never go anywhere else. I agree with some that stated they don't have the very lowest prices around, however, with that said...the quality of the lenses, frames, exam and staff is so much better than I have ever experienced that I feel it is worth it. Cheapest is rarely the best. I am not wealthy, but I am completely comfortable with their pricing for the quality of care they offer.

Dr. Drakulich is a phenomenal eye doctor! She is personable, takes time to show you the results of tests and explain everything so that it is easily understood. They keep up with the latest technology for early detection for any issues that might arise. This gives me peace of mind knowing that we can monitor the health of my eyes for many years to come and possibly thwart any issues that may develop as I get older. My husband also likes her and with his near-sighted issues, she is willing to explore options such as contacts with him. He actually likes going to this doctor. :) I wouldn't go anywhere else or trust my eyes to anyone else.

I called to make an appointment and the first thing I asked was if they accepted my insurance - I gave them the information and I was told "YES" they do accept my insurance. I took their word for it. The day of my appointment AFTER the exam, while picking out frames, I was then told they DO NOT accept my insurance. Therefore, I got stuck with a bill for $177. Should this have not been told to me PRIOR to the exam so I could have had the option of going somewhere that accepted my insurance????? Very disappointed with the way this was handled! That is why I asked when making the appointment. Now I am out $177 and still need to go somewhere else for my glasses.
