I had an amazing experience with Hefner Eye Care! Every staff member I have met and have been assisted by are kind, good listeners, and care about the field they are in. Dr. Hefner is a rock-star, and I'm seeing quite clearly in my new glasses. I'm one of those people that doesn't like to have my eyes poked or touched, and I could tell that the staff knew that about me, so they took extra care to make sure I was comfortable throughout the entire exam. I highly recommend this company, the staff and the doctor!! Keep up the great work team!

I really appreciate the time committed to getting prescriptions correct. I never feel rushed and the exam is thorough and detailed. In addition, once a prescription is set and eye health evaluated, multiple options for addressing prescription changes are covered, and they can address a wide variety of glasses and contacts options. You simply can’t go wrong entrusting your vision health to Hefner Eye Care.

This is a great place for getting eye exams n glasses contacts whatever your eyes need. The Dr I saw was great she is Dr Victoria Fairchild the eye assistant Tabatha was great. She really made me feel at home n is very easy to talk to. They both helped me tremendously. I even referred my daughter n she has went in n got her eyes tested n getting new glasses as well. Also I'm making my husband an appointment there.

Dr. Kimberly Hefner has been the best eye doctor for me and my entire family going into four decades. Our children have seen her for many years, our youngest since she was an infant. I highly recommend starting your children as early as possible (see InfantSee). Your entire family will feel at home from the moment you walk in the door. The entire staff is caring, friendly, and make you feel like part of the family.

I’ve actually had 2 full experiences here a full year apart & will put both for fairness but read the full review to reflect why I give it 5 stars now. The first visit (year ago) was professional but unfriendly. The doctor was fine. She was very matter of fact but I don’t mind that and she did her job & seemed to know her stuff. The woman who first did my initial screen exams prior to that doctor was unfriendly & I wasn’t comfortable with her. Afterwards, I was picking out frames in their frame nook & could overhear the reception being extremely rude (& loud) to a patient on the phone. It was uncomfortable to say the least especially when I knew she’d be checking me out soon. It could have been the same woman who screened me initally but I can’t be sure. The whole office vibe was rather stale. Again, no issues with the doctor herself. I rather liked her & trusted what she said. That said, my most recent visit this week for my annual exam was completely opposite. The staff was very friendly as was the doctor. They all seemed to be having a great time but in a professional way. I was comfortable from the moment I came in to the moment I left. The doctor was hilarious and was chatty and entertaining but was still thorough in her exams. The woman who screened me before the doc came in was really nice too. She was even able to do an air test on my eyes I previously wouldn’t let anyone do. She made me feel that comfortable. I had told others previously to skip this place if they were in search for an eye doctor. I left the visit this last time feeling completely different. Not sure if the staff was completely swapped out in the last year or if it’s a shared space with multiple doctors with their own teams but it goes to show it’s not just the doctors that make or break how we feel leaving and if it’s anything like my most recent visit, I wouldn’t go anywhere else & would give them 5 stars to anyone looking.

Visited for the first time today. I can't say how much I love this place. From the time I walked into the door, met with Dr. Hefner, and walked out I was given time, understanding, patience and help. Dr. Hefner even came out and helped me try and glasses and decide on a frame even when there were other patients waiting. They worked within my budget and eye insurance. They offered upgrades and other services but did not push them. I felt very comfortable here.

The people here are very nice and the Dr. is great, but I did not have a great experience here. They forgot to order my contacts twice, and when I needed a trail pair of lenses, they gave me a stronger prescription than what I wear and told me that I "probably wouldn't notice a difference." This is the same prescription that I had tried before that was too strong and gave me headaches. I feel like they could have contacted me to let me know that they didn't have exactly what I needed instead of hoping I didn't notice (which is what it seemed like). They are super nice and friendly and my initial eye appointment went very well, and they accept care credit which is why I decided to go there in the first place. However, after everything I had to deal with I will not be going back. Hopefully others have not had this same experience.

The technician Michelle, the glasses guy Michael, and Dr. Fairchild were all fantastic to work with. I had put off seeing the eye doctor for a long time because my vision was manageable. Dr. Fairchild showed me how much better it could be which was great. Her assistant Michelle was very helpful and has a great sense of humor. Michael bent over backwards to get me the perfect frames - which he ordered-in after I tried on every pair. I felt like the prices were fair and service was superb, so I definitely recommend them.

Amazing service and level of care and detail. With strong astigmatism, getting the correct prescription when switching eye care providers can be very cumbersome. This certainly, was NOT the case with Hefner Eyer Care. They're awesome from the top down.

I have dealt with eye issues of all kinds (infections, floaters, etc.) and the staff at Hefner Eyecare has went above and beyond to help me. Dr. Fairchild has reached out to me outside of office hours to ensure my eyes were doing well and I was using the appropriate medicine to remedy a problem. Overall, great experience! I highly recommend if you do not have an optometrist in OKC!

I've been going to eye doctors since I was young and this is the first one where I felt listened to and cared for. They explained everything about my eyes and took time to make sure I understood what was going on. At the end they helped me choose a pair of frames that worked best with my insurance and the cherry on top was they didnt pressure me into buying anything I couldn't. Money is a slight issue for me right now and this is the first place that didnt push anything expensive on me. I spent the least I've ever spent going to the eye doctor, which is why I always avoided eye doctors. I will 100% be going here from now on and recommending them to everyone I can.
