We have zero complaints. We have been seeing Dr. Cox for a few years. She is very thorough in her exams and doesn’t just rush around. She provides adequate feedback and compares results from one year to the next. The staff is very kind and the building is very clean.

This was my second time coming to this location and they were great! I had my 3 year old with me so I was nervous that she would have a meltdown at some point. I’m usually at appointments 2 hours at a minimum. They were very quick to call me back and do everything they needed to do! All the staff I had were very kind and caring (they also weren’t bothered by my daughter watching SpongeBob and eating Cheetos in her stroller!) I was told there wasn’t time for a contact fitting at check in but as soon as I was in the room I was fitted for some! I will be back and would recommend!

I have been going to Del City Vision since they opened and i can honestly say "I have never been disappointed". Their service and the way they care for each individual is priceless. I have had people try to get me to change, but I won't; there is an old saying " when you find a good thing, you hold on too it" well, it's true. Dr. Blu and Dr. Cherry and Dr. Cox are top notch, you can't beat that. It's all about trust. Go see for yourself, to the outstanding staff I will see you next year. 🌷

It hasn't been too long since I moved to Oklahoma and having so many things change has been pretty disorienting, to say the least. I'm always extra nervous when going to a new clinic for anything, but right from walking in the door they've been so warm and friendly that it made me immediately comfortable! Dr Cox and Tina are amazingly attentive and clearly showed they cared about what you're saying and Chenoa was great and explained everything clearly when picking frames and talking about insurance. Walked in for my appointment and was greeted by receptionist with a smile. Was taken back to do the tests with the optometrist assistant who was very nice and answered questions with confidence. Then was taken to see Dr. Cox who was friendly and very thorough with my eye exam. Picked out a frame that appeared to tight to the technician which I am thankful she was honest and very helpful in picking out a right frame that would fit and not be so tight. A very good experience all the way around!

I saw Dr Cox today for the first time. She was great, probably the best eye dr. I’ve ever seen. 1st she blinded me with a light then stuck her finger in my eye.. all with great reason. My appointments are on time and the staff are helpful, friendly, and more than willing to go out of their way to make your visit/exam pleasant. The Gold Vision plan helps immensely with costs and exam fees if you don't have vision insurance and rather pay small monthly payments. If I need something, I can text and can get an answer back quickly. I send my entire family here and don't regret it.

Dr. Cox is amazing with pediatric patients. She is always willing to go the extra mile to complete the exam with a wriggly two year old or a curious 6 month old. She includes the sibling in the exam so they aren't disruptive. Love that they have a small place for kiddos to play while waiting. The only thing that could be better is true pediatric room that is a fun color. Maybe with letters, shapes, and numbers on the wall.

I've been going to this place for years since they accept my health insurance. I've had positive experiences in the past, but recently I didn't enjoy it. I didn't get to see my regular doctor because the staff said that she had to leave. My regular doctor rescheduled me to next month, but I didn't know that until I showed up in person for the recent appointment. I stayed to see someone else so I wouldn't have to wait another month. A different eye doctor came to do my checkup. He was nice, but there were times that I couldn't understand him. The most uncomfortable part was when I got really anxious. The doctor told me that I was starting to develop dry eye and mentioned taking eye drops. That's fine, but the issue was communication. He had to leave when I had more questions, and one of the employees took over. I felt physically surrounded, uncomfortable and overwhelmed by everything that was going on. The diagnosis, the number of people in the room at one time (the eye doctor, the employee in scrubs, and a tall man that was standing right by the door), and trying to comprehend it all was really bad for me. When I asked the employee in scrubs about needing eye drops and asking more questions, she seemed annoyed and said that I didn't have to take the eye drops, and that she was in a hurry to get me to leave. I left the place with more questions about what to do to take care of my eyes, and upset. I know that things happen, and people have to leave, but I didn't deserve to be treated how I was treated. I hope that this location will do better, and learn from this. That's all I want.

They also explain what options you have for eyewear. They do not push their glasses if you do not have to have them, but give you other options to fit your needs.

I’ve had somewhat blurred vision (right worse than left) with contacts—but normal vision with eyeglasses—for the past several years. An optometrist at a different clinic told me that my prescription was correct and that my complaint of blurry vision was only my subjective interpretation. Another optometrist told me contacts couldn’t fix the problem. Today, Dr. Alichia Cox at Vision Source prescribed contacts that correct my vision to better than 20/20. So thankful.

Dr. Cox, her assistant and the front office staff are amazing!! Dr. Cox helped me find contacts for my A-type personality. The current staff that helps with the adjustment may need a little training. I came in months after getting my glasses to have them adjusted due to them falling off my face. The first time I went, the young lady helped me immediately and fitted them perfectly however, I had to go back again due to the metal on the frame that sits on the bridge of my nose was digging into my skin. The young gentlemen that helped me made an adjustment but when I told him the arms of my glasses were off because they weren't sitting flat on the table, he said they don't always sit flat. But the other lady that was there for years used to know how to adjust them to make sure my glasses were straight and sat straight on my face. I left giving him the benefit of the doubt and not even 2 hours later, my glasses were digging into the skin on the nose bridge again. Instead of me driving from Moore to Del City a third time, I went to another eye glass vendor, which I won't name, and they fixed them and I haven't had any problem.

Dr. Cox was amazing with our baby super attentive. She took her time and was patient when baby wanted to play with her tools. I never felt rushed and all our questions were answered. Our baby was in the NICU and on oxygen so it was recommended that baby see an eye doctor around 6 months. Everyone was nice and helpful. I never felt like I was in the way or a bother when he cried.

I went here for my yearly eye exam becuz I was about to run out of contacts and one morning I could not see out my right eye (I thought I’d gone blind. But my vision restored about 5 mins later) My previous provider would always tell me he will have to take me out of contacts soon due to my eyes being in poor condition (due to my diabetes) but he never explained to me that I had cataracts or provided me with options. With Vision Sources help/diagnostics I was able to have cataract surgery and now I have 20/20 vision (although my up close vision is a lil blurry and I need readers or glasses). I don’t feel pressured to buy glasses them. Dr.Cox said “if your ok with readers, that’s fine” I thank the staff at Vision Source for informing and actually breaking down what was going on with my eyesight/eyes. You guys are appreciated!!!

I recently heard that he had moved to this office so I thought I would go in for an exam and glasses. Not only was Dr. Blue as great and amazing as ever, the staff was most excellent! Everybody seemed very pleased to be employed by Vision source and the attitude showed it! The reception were so friendly and helpful. The optician, Jodi, was the best I've ever spoken to. I've been going to Vision Source for over 15+ years. They have a huge selection of frames. The receptionists, and doctors are always friendly. My only complaint is that they don't cut the lenses in house so it's always a 2 week or longer wait for glasses. (Which is the reason for the 4 star review) With that being said they always make sure that your glasses fit correctly, and give you a free case, cleaning cloth, and cleaning spray.

**UPDATE BELOW** From a 1* to a 4* so far. I am leaving my original review in full for context with an update below. I really wish I could give less than 1 star. I've been to Vision Source before at the N May location and was satisfied. This one however, was very poor. First off, I had to do everything to get my insurance information to them (as simple as calling them and getting the information that they stated they could not get from my employer) Second, I had scheduled 2 exams, one for me and one for my wife. I should have known with the hoops that I had to jump through for her exam what I would then have to also go through. There prices are extremely overpriced. The last time I went to the N May location, I went in, had my exam and left with a pair of contacts on my eyes for my co-pay. For some reason, at THIS location I had not only my co-pay but also over $100 worth of fluff charges. "oh we have to do this or we will need to dilate your eyes for the day", "oh we have to charge this with the market how it is nowadays". "You have to come in and show us how your eyes are handling the contacts that you have used for the past 10 years" but of course, they have zero hours that work for people who work and are inundated with meetings throughout the week. I missed the 60 day "window" for my fitting due to me not wanting to go back in until they fixed their billing issue with my card and my wife's insurance. Almost a $300 simple exam WITH insurance. Regardless, now they would like to charge yet another $50 to ENSURE the contacts that I have been using without issues for a decade will actually work with my eyes. Nothing about this place has been up front about pricing, about time, about insurance. Nothing. I wasted my time and my wife's time coming here and now I have to go through yet ANOTHER contact lens fitting due to them not being transparent about a follow-up. When I called to cancel that follow-up, of course they didn't tell me or the wife that they would charge more if you went past a certain date. Nor did they ever try to call and explain that to us. I'm sure they just wait and laugh while they do this to people. The prices they charge for all of their services, their contacts and their glasses/frames, do not be surprised to watch this location go under sooner rather than later. I can only hope they learn their lesson and actually try to perform some sort of customer service and salvage their diminishing reputation. *** UPDATE 1***I have received a call promptly from Robin after this review with agreed upon steps to remedy any discrepancies and issues that have occurred within this review. Adding star for prompt reply. I will update this review again once we have completed those aforementioned steps. *** ***UPDATE 2*** I came in at the behest of Robin. I was fitted for a new pair of contacts and the Dr checked the fitting immediately. This is exactly the type of service one would expect after going through what had occurred above. To be completely honest, I was ready to have nothing to do with this company/location again but wanted to give Robin and her place of business another shot. They knocked it out of the park. I scheduled another appointment for my wife to ensure she receives the same treatment and upon doing so, I will purchase contacts from them (they were just $4 difference in pricing from 1-800-Contacts and were transparent this entire session. Once my wife goes through her appointment, I am assuming I will be re-editing and updating to 5* due to the customer service I received and their willingness to help fix what started off as an awful experience. Well done Robin. Thank you.

This place is located on the south side of the I-40 overpass on SE 15th street next to Abuelita's Mexican restaurant. The service is stellar. There's even a mini-theater room for kids who are waiting on their parents eye exams. They do accept VSP insurance which I have with my employer. Call them in advance ask if they accept your insurance, and they will let you know exactly what you need to bring. Dr. Shabree Nichols did my exam, and she was very thorough. She went over my prescription several times until she got it right. What she discovered that my previous doctors didn't catch was that I had astigmatism. Left eye was far-sighted while the right eye was near-sighted. So I put in an order for my frames, and they should arrive within 7 to 10 days. Possibly earlier because the lab is in Oklahoma City. Also, they use a machine that can take pictures of both of your eyes without having to dilate the eye. This is about $30 and is not covered by insurance, but it's very accurate. You do have the option to refuse the machine, but then they would have to dilate your eyes. I have no idea what that costs. But dilating the eyes, I understand, allows the doctor view only 45 degrees of your eye, While the machines allows 220 degrees. They can get a much more accurate view of the health of both eyes.Plus, the doctor will go over it with you. I'd rather have pictures of my eyes taken than having to wear sunshades for half a day while at work. Is this place slightly more expensive than other discount eye stores? Yes. The frames are a little more expensive, but they are high quality brands. The customer care you receive is outstanding. Plus, they use really good technology. At the previous clinic I went to, I've had to have my eyes re-examined 3 times in 2.5 years. So that meant I had to buy glasses 3 separate times. This time I'm getting the correct prescription - once. Obviously, you choose what's best for your budget. But you do get what you pay for, and the visit here is worth it.
