They have great customer service and if you need to reorder contacts or return for check up exam it is very easy to do. The doctors inform you about your eye health and answer all questions. The owner and staff are friendly and courteous, and they will take the extra time to ensure you leave with the glasses you love. And you can’t beat the prices. I brought my mom to get a new pair of glasses since hers broke. The different machines to test her eyesight and consultation showed that she had been wearing the wrong prescriptions for months. From start to finish, the service was excellent and very attentive. I even grabbed some sunglasses for myself! If you need to get a readjusted prescription or some new shades, this is the place to go.

My 10 year old son needed glasses so I took him to Eye World Optical in the Metro Mall. The store is spacious with an abundance of top name brand glasses to choose from at affordable prices. I came in on Wed, to purchase a pair of glasses that I needed for an orientation the following morning(EARLY). Sussana( excuse the spelling) not only went above and beyond to get the frames made. Highly recommend! I ordered my contacts over the phone last minute and couldn’t be happier with the customer service I received from this vendor . I am literally 2.5 hours away and needed them mailed to my house as soon as possible . After explaining to the manager, I had recent foot surgery, and couldn’t pick it up (as I needed them right away), she decided to send them next day delivery through UPS, at no extra charge. I truly appreciate this ! Caring and compassionate service 🌈

Best Place in Queens!! As a veteran who goes to the VA federal hospital for my eye health. I was unaware I was in the wrong prescription for a few years. Until I came to Eye World Optical who fit me in the correct lens. I of course went back to the VA to let them know and for sure they had me in the wrong fitting. Thanks!!! I went to Eye World Optical for an examination to replace my contact lenses. They were attentive and professional and gave me "trial lenses" to be sure of the prescription. Once I felt comfortable with the lenses, I called to order the lenses and Zachary took care of me by phone. He was extremely professional and respectful promising to call the company and get back to me with pricing. Nice set up, staff is very friendly and helpful but my reason for the 3 1/2 star rating is due to prices. They take most eye insurance. They have top brand names on eye wear. Any smart shopper should know if you find any something you like and get the item ID/model number you can shop on line and find the same item/thing for a much better price.

I have been to this place several times before and this time was the best experience ever thanks to Zachary. I’ve been in retail management for 10 years and I had to leave a comment on how well taken care of I was, Zachary was extremely friendly, professional and not bad on the eyes. We shared a great laugh at my expense because the light was so bright & I forgot to wear waterproof mascara. He was empathetic, relatable and didn’t make me feel bad. He was attentive, went through the steps of my contact exam & offered the sink for me to clean up afterwards. His skills don’t compare to past techs. Thanks again Zachary!

As a first time customer my experience was exceptionally well. I went in to get glasses for my daughter and my mother and the customer service I got from the owner was FABULOUS. My mom’s eyes are very sensitive to light so she was very informative as to what she should get to protect her eyes from the light. As for my daughter, she made sure my daughter’s first time experience with glasses was a great one she even gave my other daughter a free pair of glasses because she wanted to be like her older sister. I’m not a fan on leaving review but this was an exception mostly because my mother have been trying to get glasses that would actually help with light sensitive. Today we met a lady name Susana who is the boss of the location and she was very very helpful towards me and my mother needs. Susana took her time and patience while my mother tried on glasses. As well explained everything that we had questions or concerns about. That being said there were a lot of nice glasses to choose from, that store had all the name brands you would think of. We finally found the glass that would accommodate her needs in order to be able to see hopefully with less irritation to the light. I will update with more information when my mother receives the glasses. Susana if your reading this thank you very much for everything you were beyond helpful and caring towards us and we appreciate that.

Susana was a wonderful optician. She suggested I get daily lenses instead of getting bi-weekly’s which make a lot more since in my situation ! She was very observant and helpful and I do plan on coming back to this location.

After a very thorough eye exam I was given a prescription I was shown the vast options in frames. They have a vast selection of high end frames that I got to choose from. This place is EXCELlent. I mean it in every way. The staff, doctors, owners , even the long time customers there are great. I went in originally for a contact exam and I walked out with so much knowledge and understanding of what I was getting for my money. If you are in need of new glasses or lenses definitely check them out they are A1. I must have tried on 300 frames that day the ladies were all so great Ana and Jackie were so patient and understanding and helped me find the perfect frame for my face shape and size. I might have been a bit annoying, but they dealt with me with grace. Even a long time customer of theirs who happened to be in the store pitched in to help me, its such a great environment even though it was my first time there I already feel like we are family. The owners are just the sweetest and very helpful, they were willing to work with me on price and I really appreciated it. I got my glasses in today and have been wearing my contacts for a while now, I'm so thankful for the doctor there because all other places I went to I've had issues getting my script correct. This overall was a great experience, I usually hate having to get an updated prescription. However coming here has shown me the environment and the people make the difference. Not to mention the wide variety of optical frames - they also have sun glasses, which (for the first time) I was informed that they too can be made into my prescription if I so wished. An added bonus is that there is FREE PARKING!!! I'M SO THANKFUL TO THEM AND I'LL BE BACK FOR THEIR EXCELLENT SERVICE AGAIN.

I have been getting my glasses and exams here for the past three years or so and i love the phenomenal service and professionalism that all the workers show to the customers. i recently went for an exam for the first time virtually this past week, i still prefer one on ones with the doctor in the room, but the process was very efficient and fast. i had the pleasure in being taken care by the owners son as a prep to the virtual exam and that young man sure knows his stuff. I thought he was the doctor before i found out it would be virtual exam. He knew what he was talking about and gave substantial information of what was going to take place. i also had the pleasure to meet the owner and when she spoke with me i felt as if i was family and she never met me before. she made sure i was taken care of as well as did her employee Ana. i don't think i will go any where else to get my glasses done. if you are looking for a spot to get your glasses or eye exams or any need concerning vision check out Eye World Optical on Metropolitan in Queens. If I could give 10 stars I absolutely would. I visited Eye World Optical LTD on 07/31 after putting off an eye exam for months. When I arrived the owner and his son Zach were very very professional. I explained to them what my issue was and Zach swiftly took me to have my eyes examined . I met with the eye doctor ( virtually of course ). She went through the pictures that were taken and explained to me the results and let me know exactly what I needed. Zach and I browsed the collection of frames that were available and I picked the one that I fell in love with. I was informed my glasses would be ready in 3-10 days. I was going to be a ride or die and planned to wait, after all it’s a pandemic right? Unbeknownst to me I wouldn’t have to wait that long at all. I got a call on 08/03 to let me know that my glasses were ready. I mustered up the strength and what was left of my vision to go and pick up my glasses. Once I arrived a very wonderful young lady greeted me and gave me my pouch. I was still very nervous because I have never worn glasses before and honestly never thought that I would. I opened the case. I looked at my new glasses and I felt as though it was looking back at me. She told me to try them on. That’s when I REALLY fell in love. I could see! Finally! I was amazed, they were perfect. The frame that Zach helped me picked out complimented my face so much. I’m now looking at the world from a whole new angle and I love it. She has 10 patience with the same problem she suggested me to talk to my supervisor which I will do tomorrow morning. For the patient that are having this problem it's not the optical place that are causing this dilemma its 3M I suggest to do the same and speak to you're supervisor we are all city workers if enough of us complain to 3M this problem will be resolve let's not beat the middle man let's go to the source 3M

I walked in without an appointment last minute before closing but they managed to squeeze me in for an eye exam for contact lenses. When I arrived a different girl greeted me, I told her I was there for the DMV eye exam. She then asked me if I wanted a regular eye exam as well for new glasses. I said no thank you. She then told me the price is $45. I told her I was told it was $35 by the girl who answered the phone. She confirmed with her and sent me over to her. No apology for trying to get an extra $10 because I wasn’t doing a regular eye exam as well. If you go there know your prices before hand. Google and compared with other people. The doctor and the girl who helped me were very nice that’s why they get 3 stars.
