The entire staff was very friendly, professional, and accommodating and I was able to get in and get an eye exam that day, even though I didn’t have an appointment. A very pleasant surprise. The OD took time to thoroughly explain the tests she or her tech had just performed. My insurance was out of network and yet they quickly worked through that issue and I was on my way. Would recommend.

Dr Johnson and his staff were wonderful. I love that they took the time to explain everything to me including dimensions of the eye and how certain areas can be affected by plaque. It is refreshing to have an ophthalmologist do that. I will be back. Thank you all!

For the first time I felt like everyone at an eye office really had my best interest, Marco at the desk was super nice and helpful when it came to explaining what contacts were best for me. Dr.Johnson was also super nice and helpful, never had a Doc like him before, really cares about his patients which was nice to have!

Dr. Carrie spent a lot of time with me explaining so many things about the eye, my prescription, the machines that we were used and why things happen with vision in terms of short versus long distance via age. Marco, the tech was also very conscientious and helpful with explanations of all the screening steps. All staff cleaned all equipment before my use. Abby was super helpful with directions and scheduling, plus very knowledgeable about insurance and also contact lens packages. You're in great hands if you stop in here. Felt like a full scale doctor's office, not just a 'strip mall' or Lens Crafter's quickie. Super impressed!

I was totally overwhelmed by the kindness of the doctor as well as her staff. She actually found a piece of metal in my eye and removed it with absolutely no pain or effects on my behalf. I promise you one thing I'll go to her for as long as I can. She was totally awesome!!!!

Every person at Johnson I-Care was stellar! I was very impressed! I’ve always said I would never try contact lenses, but Doctor Johnson talked me into giving them a try! I’m so happy I did! Ooh.my Goodness! My visit today was non other than excellent. From start to finish I was very pleased but the eye doctor himself was incredible, very knowledgeable and took his time explaining to me the anatomy of my eye. No wait time at all! Clean and efficient office. Staff and provider were all wearing masks and taking precautions against COVID. Dr. Johnson is very kind and knowledgeable. He took the time to review exam imaging and findings with me. Would recommend this office.

Entire staff was awesome! Couldn't have asked for an easier experience! My only complaint is that I felt like it was a bit on the expensive side! I don't have vision coverage and had checked the prices online and was kinda under the impression that my office visit was gonna be about $50 cheaper than it was and I had no clue that the contacts would be that expensive and not really given any other choice but that one option! However, I had to go out on a limb and get them because I just can't keep not being able to see any clearer than what I was! I Will say this though, at least she did give me a $20 discount for not having any insurance and I'm very grateful for her and for the discount!!! Last but not least.... The doctor was very nice and had a great bedside manner! Thanks very much to all of you!!!

At other places, I get my eye exam and I am just shoved some contacts and glasses, but Dr. Johnson took the time to educate me on the health and wellness of my eyes, how to properly care for them, what signs to look for in degenerating eye health, even what foods I could eat to improve and sharpen my vision!…..he is definitely one of a kind and he is GREATLY appreciated! Oh, don’t let me forget… his ENTIRE staff is just as wonderful, educating about discounts and rebates and insurance, (Ashley, Abby, Rose; sorry if names are misspelled, you all were fantastic!) i would recommend EVERYONE to go here and experience the skill, passion, friendliness and professionalism that was shown at this location! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Much appreciated!

My husband and I went in this past week to get fitted for contacts and new glasses. My first impression was the space was huge, well stocked and very clean. We were both asked to do general COVID screening as well as an extra sheet of paperwork upon arrival, which we appreciated. The entire front section of the store was for picking out and purchasing glasses and the back was a separate optometrist office. We both got in on time for our appointments which were very informational and comprehensive. I wish I could remember the names of our optometrist and clinical staff- they were amazing. I had never tried contacts before and the woman who helped me was extremely patient and helpful. I took home a few samples to practice with and my husband bought a pair of glasses from the (separate) front end. I called the following day and ordered a years worth of contacts with ease, to be delivered to my home and spent way less than I expected to spend with the help of some ongoing specials. Way long story made short- this is a chain/corporate location however it really doesn’t feel like it!

It is beyond my comprehension that you don’t require that your preliminary examiners to be vaccinated against Covid. I really liked the doctor, (who was) that’s the only reason I will return. But the lady who does the initial free exams was not.

Dr. Johnson was awesome. Coolest doctor I’ve ever chopped it up with. However, my insurance was supposed to cover an eye exam and these people assumed I wanted retinal imaging. I thought that was part of an eye exam, but on my way out, they are charging me out of pocket for it. Plus they charged me to get the right fit for my contact lens? Isn’t that supposed to be part of an eye exam for contacts too? Anyways, yeah. Everyone was nice but they backdoored out of pocket costs on me without telling me up front.
