Lifesavers!! I was visiting family in the area last week. I tore one of my contact lenses, and didn’t have a spare. I walked in with my prescription, and they were able to give me 2 sample lenses. I am so grateful for their friendly, professional and generous treatment. Thanks again!

I had to schedule an immediate visit for a change in my vision. My visit was scheduled for that afternoon, perfect. I was seen right on time. The PA who prepped me for the doctor was pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable. The doctor was thorough and explained what was happening in terms that were easy to understand. A follow up visit was scheduled and I was on my way. The experience couldn’t have been better. My wife and I have been clients for years and have been very well cared for. The staff here, from the office staff to the doctors, are professional and cheerful. I highly recommend Manchester Eye Associates.

Best first visit ever New to the area and found that Manchester Eye Associates was accepting new patients. Contacted them and set up an appointment. Showed up for the appointment and was met by very friendly office staff, we provided insurance cards and immediately after I met with Colleen, no wait at all, who ran a battery of tests before taken me in to the doctor. Colleen was extremely professional and friendly, very east to work with. I then met with Dr. Williams and he explained step by step what he was doing and why. He to was excellent and professional. I then met with Michelle to pick out frames and place the glasses order. I thought I knew the frames I wanted but Michelle didn't think they where the best for my face and made several other suggestions that where within my insurance allowance. Very helpful and my wife and I approve of her choice of frames. I also ordered contact lenses and was amazed they were in the very next day. Previously I was waiting several weeks for the order from my past provider. Overall extremely glad I found Dr. Williams and his talented and sometimes funny staff.

I have been a patient at Manchester Eye for over four years. This week I decided to have new lenses put in frames I had purchased from their optical shop three or four years ago. It was clear from the moment I walked in that no one was too eager to help me. Had I done something wrong?? I made an appointment, I waited patiently and was pleasant with my greeting...??? When it came time to sit with an optician, I again waited patiently in no rush to be anywhere. I didn't have to wait long but my short experience was not pleasant. I was told that my frames where old and that they could not guarantee they would not break when replacing lenses. It wasn't the fact that they couldn't promise not to break frames I purchased at their shop, but the way I was told...I felt unwelcome and that my wanting lenses but no frames was an annoyance. I asked, "So one has to purchase new frames each time they change their prescription?" There was no verbal response, just a nod of the head with a grimace. I took my frames back and left. It may be true that plastic drys over time, that frames cannot be guaranteed because of this but patients should not be made to feel like a nascence for not wanting to buy new frames. Hopefully someone was simply having a bad day...I will go back as I like the doctors but as for purchasing glasses, guess Warby Parker may be calling.

A friend recommended Manchester Eye Associates when I moved to the area. The office is clean and bright. The staff is very professional and operates like clockwork! I was impressed with the new selection of frames, and even more so when one of the specialists stayed with me for an hour to look for some funky ones in catalogs and special ordered two pairs for me to try. Dr. Williams is knowledgeable, personable, and has a great sense of humor. He patiently answers all of my questions, knows my medical records, and works with me on the best course of treatment. I highly recommend Manchester Eye Associates!

My wonderful optometrist of 30 years retired. He recommended Doctor Chistine Caban Donahue for "for my special eyes". I was pretty nervous to be honest. Leaving a practice after 30 years to start a new relationship with a new doctor; was a little scarey. I was extremely relieved with Manchester Eye; everyone was so welcoming. Dr. Donahue was so wonderful, she did an excellent exam. I am very much looking forward to building our relationship over the years.

I am a new customer to Manchester Eye Associates, I was referred by my 9 year old daughter's pediatrician when she needed extended eye testing. At her apppointment, the staff, the nurse and Dr Gilligan were wonderful. They made her feel comfortable, and were very patient while she tried to keep up with all the different machines that she was being tested on. In the end, even thought she didn't actually need glasses, Dr Gilligan recognized that she just needed the "glasses" to believe that they were helping. She gave her the smallest prescription (which is all she needed) but as soon as we picked up the glasses my daughter immediately said how much they helped. I made an appointment for myself with Dr Donahue, and she is such a joy to work with as well. Very efficient and knowledgable, as well as personable and very pleasant, I felt very comfortable the entire appointment. I have an upcoming appointment for my 8 month old with Dr Gilligan, I will report back after that and let you know how that goes... :-)

I have been going to Manchester Eye for many years. I have always appreciated the excellent service I have received as a patient there. The other day I went for my yearly check-up. I was really aware of the fact that from the minute I walked through the door until my appointment was complete everyone was pleasant and kind. I work in healthcare and really feel that many office should spend the day with their staff. They would certainly learn a thing or two by their excellent example. Thank you.

It is a great place for everyone in the family to receive full eye care. The staff/optical staff are very knowlegable and very helpful in making sure your appointments are convenient for you and making sure your new glasses and lenses are perfect for you!

Took the whole family. They are great and the people are really nice. My 4yo daughter liked the sales associate so much she invited her to her birthday. LOL Needless to say they are great with kids. My glasses were supposed to take a week to come in and they were ready in 3 days.

Dr. Gilligan is amazing, sweet, and very thorough with her work. She takes her time to make sure you have just the right lenses. And won't let you leave until you can read the tny bottom line on the seeing chart. I've had MANY eye doctors that were no as thorough. And the majority of the staff is very friendly.

I have used Manchester Eye Associates since the early 1980's. Dr. Caban was the greatest; now that he has retired his daughter Dr. Donahue is a worthy successor! I would highly recommend their practice.

I went to Dr. Caban for many years and was thrilled with him. When his daughter came on board, i starting to use her. She is an amazing Doctor. she was the first one to see symptoms of carotid aretery issues. When my internist did not want to recommend me for a carotid artery test, Dr. Gilligan did not give up insisting that i have one. She fought to have her recommendation approved. As it turned out, Dr. Gilligan was right in that i needed to have the test. it showed a blockage. now i will have the test on a regular basis and if necessary have the artery reemed and cleaned at the appropriate time. Without Dr. Gillign's persistence in overuling the internists decision, I may have one day lost my vision or had a stroke. This is an office that you can count on!
