Dr Miller is great and so is his staff. They get you in right on time for your appointment and are always efficient and friendly. We have been going to see him for years. He is very thorough and does a great job explaining what is going on with your eyes and what he is looking for to ensure your eyes are healthy.

I was told yesterday that my frames were in and this place is so incompetent, this is not a good experience wasting my time always. First getting new glasses now this! Frames weren't even ordered!!! Front desk is incompetent! That's why I called first!

I had an eye exam yesterday and it was a pleasant experience. the tecs and assistants are warm and caring. the Dr. was excellent. they have a new test and it is not covered by my insurance yet. They explained everything to me and asked if i wanted it done before they did it. some places would have done the test and then charged you. When i went to pay for the test, the person taking care of me told me that I did not owe anything because I had a credit from 2 years ago. and i still have a credit for my next appointment. the office is very nice, modern and clean. The front staff are nice and polite. I would recommend this practice to anyone

As a new patient I am always hesitant to try out new doctors. This one blew away all my expectations. The office staff was attentive and courteous. The doctor was very thorough. Calling to order contacts after the initial visit was simple and easy. They have gained a long term patient after this visit. I can not recommend this location enough!

Dr. Brian Miller the best eye doctor in the entire world. Recently I got my eyes checked by a different doctor in Henderson, because Dr. Miller doesn't accept medicaid. The new doctor checked my eyes in 2 minutes. I was not satisfied with the new doctor or the prescription. Dr. Brian Miller always checked my eyes thoroughly. He always gave me good amount of time. Answered all my questions I use to have. I use to travel all the way to NW Las Vegas from Anthem Highlands. It is very hard to find the best eye doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Miller he is my kids and my favorite doctor.

Both my wife and I had appointments with Brian Miller. He did a thorough examination of our eyes, after dilating them. He patiently explained a problem with one of my wife's eyes, showing us images on a computer screen. We have gone to Doctor Miller for several years and have always been very satisfied with the service that he and his staff provides. The current location of his office is considerably better than his former location because it has greater space and a nice setup. There is plenty of parking space available, including handicapped parking and entrances. It is conveniently located on North Durango north of Tropical and south of Centennial.

Dr. Miller's equipment and technology is up to date. He is also super nice and made me and my husband feel super welcome. He helped me decide between chosing contacts and glasses. Karen did a great job helping me and my husband find a pair that I felt comfortable wearing. They gave us a price for frames and lenses right up front and insurance adjustments - awesome job, super impressed with this office.

Update: I switched doctors within the practice, and I've had a great experience. Dr. Nguyen is phenomenal! Original post: I wanted to love this place - I really did. But they messed up scheduling my first appointment, so I had to wait almost a month for a new appointment. Then they had a difficult time getting me a follow-up appointment. Now I just called for an actual eye damage issue (not a routine exam), and they can't see me for a month. This place needs to figure out their scheduling or not take so many patients. Otherwise the experience was perfect. Going elsewhere, sadly.

They try to be as accommodating with my crazy schedule. They are patient when listing all the prices of glasses and contacts with insurance or not and types of lenses, to show all my options, to help me make a decision that is best for me.

Amazing place! No wait time, great staff, Dr. Mark took his time to examine my eyes and answered every question I had. I’ve been wearing contacts for about 12 years and needed glasses for backup, and no other place could get my prescription right, I was sceptical any place would. But after my exam with Dr. Mark I am ecstatic to be able to get glasses and finally SEE through them! They really care about their patients and go above and beyond to make sure you get a quality top notch service. Oh and their equipment is very high tech, and didn’t have to go through the uncomfortable puff machine! A+++ would highly recommend Advanced Eye care!

I really like Advanced Eyecare and recommend them to anyone looking for optometrists in NW Las Vegas. They are very easy to work with planning out new glasses and have a great selection of frames. From the time that I walked into the front door and was greeted warmly by the front desk staff. Especially the kind mother of 5. She hit me checked in expeditiously and offered water. Moving along to Next preliminary part of visit with Jenna was great! She is welcoming and knowledgeable and kept me moving on schedule. Dr Wendy behave been seeing for the last two years and she is not only amazing and personable; she makes you feel included. She provides specific information in terms you can relate and she encourages your participation in your eye health. She helps you understand the importance of keeping up with regular routine visits to proactively stay aware of changes with your eye health. You feel like family when you are a patient.

Have been a patient with them since 2013. Love both Dr. Miller’s and the newer to the practice doctors are great also. Just saw Dr Wendy Nguyen yesterday and she is great also. The person working with me to pick out my glasses was so patient as I tried on at least 20 different frames and took over an hour to decide. I would recommend anyone looking for eye care to check this office out.

Dr Fakhra was such a nice Dr. I had not had my eyes examined for three years while I had two babies. She did not rush my appointment and was kind and understanding that I brought my children with me. I highly recommend you make your appointment with her. I will definitely go back to see her next time I need an eye appointment.

Came in on a recent Saturday to get my RX glasses adjusted. Front office staff was receptive as usual. Teresa came to my aid. Without fuss or muss, Teresa took both pairs of my RX glasses to the adjustment room, fixed them and returned to me in great working order. I was very very pleased with her support, professionalism and courtesy. Dr. Brian and Dr. Mark have a great staff and it shows. The appointment system still needs work, but overall the support is grand. Keep it up!!!!

Advanced Eyecare has been my first healthcare experience since moving from Southern California going on four months ago, and if I had the money or the insurance, I'd gladly fork it over if I knew all of my providers would be as phenomenal as Doc Nguyen. Doc was efficient, thorough, and relatable. She addressed all my needs and concerns and I was on my way. Hopefully I luck out through the VA system, or some other means...but either Californians are used to really substandard care, or Nevada really is too good to be true. With the exception of one other provider in a sea of dozens, never have I ever been treated with more attentiveness, compassion, patience, understanding, or just simply kindness, especially from everyone up front and "behind the scenes". Christina was nice enough to get me contact information to the VA for referrals, and spent time answering questions and concerns about insurance. I ended up chosing to go with them because they had same day availability (where at least two other offices didn't have openings until December)...I feel like I lucked out on that otherwise I may not have ended up at their office. I don't doubt there are plenty of other wonderful providers who would have worked out just fine, but I felt reassured after my appointment, and that's not always an easy quality to find in a provider/practice. Also, as a 100% service-connected disabled veteran with a TBI who went to Advanced Eyecare to be evaluated (solely out of pocket) for something the VA should have caught, all I can say is that they are completely transparent with their fees and insurance. I was told what it would cost before I booked the appointment and that is the exact amount I paid when I left. Moreover, their fee was less than what other practices quoted me. It's medical care in the 21st Century. Legit care isn't cheap.

I called and have been with them over a year. My glasses broke and they replaced them. They work with me as my eyes tire when testing. They are never rude or unprofessional. I have never been there for more then an hour in the past. I don’t know why this time was any different. I met Brian around 1996 while he was at Southwest Medical. When he left SW, I followed him, even though I had to pay for my medical services instead of having them covered in my medical insurance. 23 years later, he is still stuck with me! Brian will tell me what I need, and I do it. He has not been wrong yet. Brother Dr Mark is a character, but I have yet to see him, but would not hesitate if Brian was not available to me. The entire office is filled with a friendly and competent staff. They all work well together, and I have never seen any drama in this practice filled with ladies! I recommend the office freely when anyone asks.

One of the attending nurses, helped me learn about the lipiflow procedure for my blocked tear ducts that are causing my dry eyes. She was incredibly helpful, honest and forthcoming about her experience with this procedure. Lovely office, very nice front desk staff. I waited a little longer in the waiting room than I expected to but the dr spent a lot if time with me making sure my script was just right. The back office staff was awesome as well. The only thing that was odd is that the paperwork on the website was not what they needed me to fill out. There was a couple more that were not there.

He's a straight shooter instead of telling me all the things I needed to make BooKoo cash - he was honest & does his job with moral & ethics. He told me my eyes were excellent and wouldn't be needing any glasses or reading glasses. I walked out with a free sample of dry eye solution and nothing else. I will definitely be seeing them in the near future scheduled one year from now. I would highly recommend and end your optometry search--these practice is the best! Thanks

I had a work related eye injury about 8 years ago, I followed my work procedures as directed. I visited Dr. Brian Miller for a 2nd opinion...Dr. Miller immediately spotted something that the original MD didn't see, and treated me personally for almost 3 weeks even coming in on days off and Sundays. This is the most professional office I have ever visited for any type of physical care. The entire staff is efficient, friendly and eager to serve. They interact well with each other to provide a seamless visit. The equipment is state of the art in testing for eye diseases and other maladies. By the time I see Dr Brian, he has everything he needs to diagnose a problem or proceed with the exam. His manner is easy going, but his exam and/or diagnosis is very serious and professional. He has told me more about my health thru dilating my eyes than some of my physical exam doctors!! Dr Brian is very patient in fitting contacts, or the office has a complete selection of beautiful frames if glasses are chosen. The bottom line is: I would never go anywhere else for care of my eyes.

From the start at the reception desk was just fine, then the staff was great with their bedside manner for all the tests, and then when it came to the sales part and pick new frames there was a big drop off....I imagine a 1st time eyeglass wearer would be completely lost because there is alot to consider when buying new glasses, from the lens width and height as well as frames and temple length and bridge etc etc and that's where the drop off was, it was basically just go try some on, no fitment guide and so forth....other then that it was a pleasant experience ...

This practice is a class act. It's a family owned practice, operated by brothers who really care about their patients healthcare. Healthcare from providers who own their own business is always phenomenal. I describe it as, 'Consierge Eyecare' at the same price as other practices in town. Corporate owned 'Doc-In-The-Box' eyecare can be found on every street corner. Dr's in Corporate Practices must meet time metrics set by corporate CEO's. In many cases, it is not enough time to get a proper diagnosis. Dr.Miller spends the time required (face-to-face with his patients) for a through diagnosis.
