I just LOVE these people! They are so knowledgeable, and even better, they are SO KIND and patient. Always explain everything they are doing, but never talk down to us. Dr. LaTona is always so kind and helpful--and encouraging!! And the technician that helped me today was probably the best I have ever had! She was soft-spoken and kind and very helpful. I do recommend these people to everyone.

Great location as it's on the Community North campus. Clean and comfortable facilities. Staff is courteous and professional. Eye exam is very comprehensive and Dr. Noreika makes time for every patient to ensure a thorough and accurate diagnosis. Excellent selection of eyewear at various price points.

I’ve been getting my eye exam here for several years. Dr. Kautzman is so thorough and explains everything in an easy to understand manner. The staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Kautzman’s assistant, Belinda, called me to follow up and make sure I got some eye drops I needed. I really appreciate the individual attention they provide.

I’ve been going to Richard Kautzman, O.D. for the last six years. Dr. Kautzman is one of the most nicest guys you’ll ever meet, not to mention extremely diligent and thorough every time I see him. He does a great job of explaining steps before doing them and let’s me know what he is looking for as well as offering helpful tips I can use in between visits. Dr. Kautzman is a genuine provider that has a sharp memory. He has asked about my husband, children, even remembers where I work, and does a great job of making his clients comfortable to ask questions. I highly recommend this provider but also the office staff is very friendly and helpful. I give them 10 out of 10! See you next January 2023 God willing!

This was our first time visiting the office and was thoroughly impressed. They were very patient with my 7 year old, which is rare when the office isn't specifically tailored for pediatrics. Everyone from the assistant to x-ray technician to Dr were very pleasant and super thorough. My daughter was scared, anxious and nervous all at the same time and they showed empathy and compassion. When feasible, they allowed me to hold her when administering certain steps in the exam process. We were there for almost 3 hours so they could get to the bottom of the vision issues. It wasn't a quick look and then on to the next patient. They took the time to answer our questions and didn't make me feel stupid for asking. I highly recommend Dr. Noreika.

These guys were great .because of rain and traffic I was late . Anywhere else I would've been too late . But they squeezed me in. The nurse was great on her preparation for the doc. And the doc came in ,diagnosed what was wrong and went straight to setting up a way to fix it!

I like Dr. La Tona & his staff very much, but I spend most of my time in the office just sitting & waiting. Yesterday, my actual time with Assistant, about 15 minutes. Actual time with Doctor, about 5 minutes. Total time in office, 2 hours. I arrived @ 1:30 & left @ 3:30. I think they need to adjust their scheduling to make the timing more efficient, perhaps less patients per hour. The Assistants (I don't know know their professional titles) were all running around, trying to keep things moving as quickly as they could.

And if you can’t find glasses frames that you love there, then they don’t exist. I have had strangers on the street stop me to ask where I got my frames. The service from this practice is excellent.

Dr. Kautzman is careful about how he phrases his questions so that there can be no misunderstanding about what you mean as you evaluate lens choices. I've gone to him for years and always felt he had my interest at heart. I've always ended up with glasses that performed well.

This was my first visit to Community Eye Care and most of the staff was very efficient and nice. I really appreciated the thorough explanations from Dr. Kautzman and felt like I really would like to continue going for eye exams, however the wait was beyond frustrating. Everyone explained that they are extremely busy and blah blah blah, but I had a 11 am appointment and I didn't leave the office until 1:05 pm. I understand getting behind and having to wait some but this was really unexceptable. I have been looking for a good eye doc on the northside for several years and I think I might of found him. Just a shame, I doubt I will be back!

They were very patient with me and explained every step of the exam process. The office gave me a copy of my glasses prescription without prompting. Will 100% be returning for future eye exams
