Probably one of the best eye clinics I’ve been to, and I’ve worn glasses since 5th grade (33 now). The staff was welcoming, accommodating, and as nice as could be. The Dr. Hunt wasn’t cut and dry, like most other Doctors, the staff talked to you like a friend instead of just another patient. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. No doubt this will be my long term eye clinic. Wouldn’t change a thing about it.

This was my first visit to the Belk Eye Clinic. Every employee I met today was amazing. They got me back at my scheduled appointment time which was great. Dr. Belk was friendly and went over my exam findings with me. Optical department was also very helpful and was able to fit me for new glasses in no time. Will definitely be returning to this clinic.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Explained in detail every test they were performing on my eyes. Dr Belk made sure I understood the results of the tests. Showed me on his computer all parts of my eyes and compared today's results with those from last year. I feel confident in saying they provide excellent service for their patients.

Very thorough. Organized. Communicates with patients in multiple ways. If you must cancel an appointment without ample notice you will be charged a $25 fee. All of the employees go the extra mile to ensure that you are satisfied. I have VSP insurance. I got a new pair of glasses. And paid $135 for all the bells and whistles. Otherwise the glasses would have been $400+. My next appointment is 1 year 2 days from today.

Dr. Williston is very personable, professional and thorough. He recognized a potentially life threatening illness before any other symptoms presented and made the proper referrals. The office staff is always helpful and courteous. They’ve been especially compassionate during our many eye emergencies. The building is clean and very well maintained. Today they were taking the pictures of my eyes and of course my tremors were bad. It was hard for me to hold my head still. The tech noticed and just walked over and held my head still. Today was my first appointment with The Belk Eye Clinic. It will not be my last! The fine, friendly, professional healthcare staff amazed me. They put the care in healthcare like no other establishment has that I've been privy to. I am smiling thinking about what a wonderful difference they made for me in one hour. First, I can see! I had neglected my eyesight for about 3 years for various reasons...one of which was the ever difficult extra expense...I don't have insurance yet so...yeah...anyway, I really couldn't afford everything and my only back up eyeglasses were broken and taped like the guy on Revenge of the Nerds...they gave me a trial pair of contact lenses and fitted my old (but decent) lenses into a new pair of frames absolutely gratis as part of their pay it forward program. I will donate the frames back when I am insured and ready to purchase the beautiful Betsy Johnson eyeglasses I admired. The frames I'm borrowing are adorable too! I was brought to tears by the incredible kindness...everyone was wonderful, respectful, and selfless. Puts faith back in my heart for myself and humanity. I have only had minor issues with this doctor office, but not enough for me to give a bad rating. During these trying times they are making sure the keep the office clean and sanitized. Appts are spaced out so that people are not packing the office or waiting area that has limited seating; however, I had an issue with one of the assistant or techs not listening to me about the lenses in the field test machine. If I tell you that it was too blury looking through the lense you placed in the holder you may want to listen. Your response shouldn't be that's the prescription in your lense when you never took my glasses to check my lenses in order to use the correct lenses in the machine. The weird thing about it is, after the test you ask me for my glasses to check the prescription. Well to me, that was backwards. Never came back to me to admit the mistake. I did feel some type of way and I expressed that concern to the doctor. If it had not been for that incident, I would have given five stars. No issues with my doctor. He is knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and attentive. He takes the time to explain things to you and gives opportunities to ask questions. He will be the only reason why I return. Overall it is a good place to go for your vision needs.
