The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They utilize paperless check-in and have a wonderful selection of frames, sunglasses, and other eyewear. Dr. Sheetz is personable and professional. Sitting at a computer all day had some unexpected impacts on my vision and Dr. Sheetz presented viable options that resolved the issues. My issues picking out frames and lenses aren’t unique (I’m very nearsighted) and the staff is always helpful selecting frames/lenses that will work taking thick lenses into account.

Very pleased with my experience here! At 24 I didnt expect my vision to start slipping but hours in front of a computer have taken its toll. From the front desk checking in to the optometrist that looked at my eyes, to the very helpful ladies that helped me get fitted for glasses, I couldn't be happier. They took the time to make sure I was satisfied with the glasses and the whole experience. Will definitely be using them from now on and recommending to my friends and colleagues.

Booking the appointment was easy online, someone contacted me quickly about setting up a time, I was seen quickly and all the staff was super nice. Reasonably priced through my insurance and will def. be back! They seem to really care about their patients and getting the best outcomes for them.

This is a very good optometrist office. The quality of care and time spent with each patient is excellent. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because I think their glasses selection is high priced. But more so, how they explain all the different options. (Lens materials, coatings, polarization, etc.) And what exactly your insurance plan covers is very confusing. I felt like I didn't know exactly what I was getting or what my options were at different price points.

Our family has gone to Ashworth Vision Clinic for many years. Service is always friendly and thorough. What I especially like is that Dr. Sheetz explains everything in detail. All the office staff is helpful. Never any pressure to buy glasses through their office, which I appreciate as we do not live nearby. I think it says a lot about their service that we continue to go to Ashworth even after we moved out of the immediate area.

I would give Ashworth Vision Clinic an A+ rating! They have an excellent staff! The first thing you will notice when you enter are friendly faces and a very helpful staff! It always takes time for me to choose new glasses..truly...but they are so patient and helpful!! They also do their utmost when you bring in damaged glasses...and they encourage you to come back whenever you need any other help. The examination on your eyes is well done and complete. ....I came in with no complaints, but they discovered a serious condition that could lead to a transplant. I am so grateful that it was discovered early! Keep up the good work!!!

Great team. I live out of state and woke up with a throbbing itchy swollen eye on Friday. Would not be able to see my local doc till Monday. Ashworth got me right in with pink eye for the win!!! It’s hard when you work out of town so much to find a company they will go out of their way to help you out. Ashworth did just that!! Even replaced my nose pads while I waited!! Thank you so much.

I received a very thorough eye exam for contact lenses almost a year ago. I have been very happy with the lenses! I can see so much better than my pervious pair of 6 months from a different eye care business. I lost a recent prescription glasses from that eye care business. I called Ashworth Vision Clinic to get my new eye glass prescription (I had an old pair of glasses) which is different from a contact lenses prescription. Oh my goodness! For the first time in years I can see clearly in glasses as well as contacts!! Thank you!!

I was a bit indifferent about these guys. It was my first visit as my office moved to a different part of town and I didn't want to drive all the way downtown for my optometrist. My first appointment was a bit fast food. The gal who checked me in and did the preliminary test, then showed me to the exam room seemed like she was in a hurry to do everything and overly friendly, not mean or standoffish or anything, just not real friendly. The doctor was great when he came in, friendly, informative and thorough. He sent me away with two different kinds of contacts to try out and come back and tell him which ones felt better. On my return I decided to purchase my contacts online as they were much cheaper. I then asked if I could look at some glasses as the ones I have are very old. Another not overly friendly lady showed me glasses and even went so far (upon my request) to write down cost with and without insurance for me for comparison. I took the paper home and started looking at it closer. There was one line item there that I wasn't sure what it meant for $150 which was more than half of the total cost. The line item was "Progressive Lenses" which I discovered means no-line bifocals. Now... I had explained to her that I would probably only be using these glasses to watch TV when I took my contacts out at night so I'm not sure that I want or need progressive lenses. What kind of irked me is that I wasn't asked if I wanted them or not. I believe that feature is optional and she just put it on there like I didn't have a choice. That was about three weeks ago now and I haven't gone back to get glasses and I don't think I will. I will likely go elsewhere for the glasses. All that said the service was not bad enough that I won't go back. The convenience of there proximity to my work far outweighs my petty little misgivings about their friendliness and who knows I may find out when I go elsewhere to get my glasses that progressive lenses are not optional... but I doubt it. Oh and then never emailed me my prescriptions like I asked, good thing I took a hard copy of my contacts prescription.

I went to ashworth vision clinic 13 months ago for the first time. I have a very high astigmatism and I have struggled to get a pair of glasses that I can see clearly with previous opticians. Indeed, for the past 5 years, I would try a new pair of glasses and suffer headaches and poor vision, so I would return to an old pair I had from 6 years ago. With Ashworth clinic, my vision was immediately perfect. I had clear vision for the first time in years. The service was also better than I got at other opticians. I live in lamoni, southern iowa and I would rather travel to ashworth clinic rather than waste any more money with my previous opticians
