Nicest bedside manner I have ever experienced. I have been going here for a long time, but in the past few years Avalon Hindman has been my Optometrist. She is incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. I always enjoy going in for my exam knowing she will be there to assist me! I have moved out of the area, but will continue going here because of the staff. The good prices help too! I've found them to be much better priced than other Eye Doctors.

I’ve been coming here for the past couple of years and the service is always super. The ladies in the counter are very knowledgeable about pricing, insurance and their products. Optometrist is super nice and she always tries to get to know you. Friendly staff and good location. On this last trip, I saw more products and new brands. I come one a year and I love to see new frames from every range. I moved to the suburbs and I don’t mind driving down here. Highly recommend

Miami Optical was amazing. We actually had an appointment for America’s best but since it was later on in the day, I called Miami optical. It is easy to schedule an appointment and although I didn’t have one, they were able to squeeze us in. They do close at 3pm on Saturdays but they didn’t rush us and let us take our time to pick out the frames that we wanted. Customer service was amazing, it was fairly quick and their selection of glasses are incredible. They had so many designer and non designer glasses. I felt like the prices for the frames are very reasonable. I will be coming here from now on and will also recommend all my family and friends.

I had a wonderful first-time experience at Miami Optical about a month ago and will not be going back to my old optometrist. Dr. Hindman the owner/doctor there, was wonderful and had great patient care. She was polite, professional, and explained the procedures she was doing while making it a painless experience. I made an appointment the day before on their easy online system and barely had to wait once I got there. After the appointment, they followed up about trial contacts I was given, and I ended up getting a great new pair of contacts for a great price, all with wonderful service,! I'll definitely be coming back!

I’ve been coming here for years now. Dr. Avalon is literally the sweetest person I’ve ever met, all of staff was super sweet to me I’ve never had any issues with their service. I’ve gone to other places but it’s not quite the same. I would suggest coming before 3-4pm if you can. There’s a lot of schools nearby so it does get packed from time to time since kids have their yearly check ups and what not. They have no problem answering any questions about insurance coverage or prices, I would definitely recommend this place.

I’ve been a patient here for 23 years. Initially, I became a patient because they accept the Illinois Medical card. Even though I’m no longer covered by state insurance and now utilize my employer provided insurance I must say that my experience has been phenomenal, regardless of coverage. The doctors are knowledgeable and offer great patient care. The products and services offered at Miami Optical are top-knotch and the prices are even better! So much so, that my own 14 year old daughter is also a patient and has been her entire life! Needless to say, I recommend Miami Optical for all of your optometry needs!

The best thing I like about this place is they don't discriminate against people with public aid. They still treat you with the same respect as using a regular insurance. I've been to many places who once they find out you have a medical card-public aid then treats you like you're nothing. I've had to wait months just to get glasses because I had public aid but this place you get them the same as regular insurance a week maybe two!!! The doctors staff are fantastic and my last exam I found out through the doctor that I can get Lasik eye surgery for free through my insurance. I would have never known that so I'm so thankful to her for telling me that and I look forward to getting lasik so I don't have to wear these glasses no more!!! I see why this place has very high ratings and I'm very thankful for their knowledge and treatment!

After reading the reviews about this place I was nervous about coming here. This place happened to be one of the few in network with my vision insurance. The day I came I wanted to be examined for contacts I did not have my current prescription on hand, but that turned out to be ok. The wait wasn't long at all the doctor was so sweet and professional she was in such a great mood and very polite. I dont remember her name. She gave me a sample pair of contacts to take home and adjust to, and recommended I come back and order if they worked well for me. When I realized I needed a high prescription, she order another sample pair for me to use and get use to. I would definitely recommend this eye clinic. Had nothing but good experiences.

Not having visión insurance is reason enough to not even visit some places, but this place made it super easy having a special of $120 glasses with eye exam included, for $50 more you add transitions to your glasses it's absolutely nothing compared to what I had to pay in places with big names where I had to spend almost $300 WITH Insurance for only 1 Pair. I love this place, I love the people too. You should visit!!

Best place to get your eyeglasses! Great atmosphere with a lot of variety and numerous selections. The specialist are very attentive and always ready to welcome you with great hospitality. Very spacious and comfortable setting as they remodeled the space so now their is much more room. Pleased with my experience and I find it’s always a pleasure to have them assist me!
