I wanted to give 5 stars because I've always had a great experience at Vision works. However, this time their new "computer system" failed to function properly. The order itself took almost 2 hours. The confirmation email that was sent ended up being a joke! It took 3 weeks just to get my glasses. I am satisfied with my glasses, however, which is the important thing. Hopefully they get all the kinks worked out in their system soon!

Was able to walk in. We had our eyes checked within 20-30 minutes, had our glasses picked about 40-60 minutes after arriving. I highly recommend. I had quite a few picks I liked couldn't make my mind up, and Tara helped me a lot and kept it real. She's the real mvp. She was extremely nice, and because of everyone being so friendly I will be back. I will be telling people about this.

My daughter got her first pair of glasses yesterday. Donald was extremely helpful, professional and patient. She tried on at least 20 pairs and he was never aggravated with her. He was very knowledgeable on the glasses and proper fit. As well as insurance. I will definitely use Visionworks again and recommend to anyone. Thank you!

We live an hour away and typically drive here because our vision benefit is better, and we had wonderful service with David at the Charleston Town Center location! My whole family of 4 ordered glasses and he made it easy. We already had our frames picked out before he was done checking our insurance so it was a very speedy process. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, service with a smile. As a retail manager myself, it was nice to see. We have had questionable service in the past and almost went elsewhere but decided to give it another shot. Glad we did.

I brought my glass in December of 2017. Donald was a great help with the order. Melissa is always very nice and helpful. There is great staff and would recommend them to everyone. I have no problems with my glasses and plan to be back in the future.

I have purchased many pairs of glasses at all three local locations of this chain over the past 8 or 9 years and have never been disappointed, but the Charleston store is my favorite by far. The manager is incredibly sweet and always super helpful and honest when helping me choose frames. They also always take the time to explain the latest and best options for lens treatments and upgrades, and the advantage to each. Their prices are also great and they accept a lot of insurances- I’ve had three different ones in the time I’ve been going there and they have accepted all of them. Their store hours are very convenient.

This place is amazing!! We were in West Virginia visiting from Idaho. My glasses got broke and I needed some new ones fast. I got two pairs for only $50 as they happened to be running a special at the time. My first pair were done within a few hours. My second pair they were nice enough to ship (for free!!) to my home in Idaho for me. Donald is the one who helped me and I highly recommend him. Thank you so very much Visionworks and Donald 🙂

I have been going to Vision Works in the Town Center since they opened! I have always been treated with great respect. The people who work there have the best customer service skills of any eye place I have ever been too. I wasn’t for sure which glasses I wanted and the girl helped me and encouraged me to take my time on picking out the perfect glasses for me. I have been to many eye care centers or doctor office where the staff is too busy to help and just want to push me out the door. I highly recommended going to Vision Works you will not regret it.

This place is awesome. I have purchased 2 pair of glasses in the past year, both times Tara was my salesperson, and she couldn't have been more helpful. She was incredibly patient with me while I tried 50 different pairs of glasses the first time. Coincidentally, she helped me the next time I came in and she seemed to have bent over backwards to help me figure out my new and very confusing insurance policy. Thanks to her, I was able to get exactly what I wanted, all because she decided to take the time to go the extra mile to make sure I was 100% happy. More businesses need to learn from the exceptional customer care that Visionworks offer. For as long as I live in Charleston, WV I will always go to Visionworks for all of my contact and glasses needs. I started going to them about a year and a half ago after moving back to Charleston and they have been amazing since day 1! I have never left without being completely satisfied and have the utmost respect for the staff. They have always been more than willing to go above and beyond to help me resolve any issues or make sure that I am "getting the most for my money" so to speak. I've never had a bad experience there and have always left feeling like a valued customer. Tara has been a lifesaver on more than one occasion so this review wouldn't be complete without giving her a special shout out!

I got my glasses at Vision Works about a year and a half ago. I’m about to get my eyes checked again and I am going to keep my same glasses I bought. They have been so durable and I have dropped them a few times. When I used to go to other glasses stores my glasses were never fit for my face, at Vision Works they helped me a lot to ensure my glasses fit correctly and comfortably. They also let me use old glasses frames that I never wore for my sunglasses and places the lenses in them. They were extremely helpful and wonderful quality glasses! I will not go anywhere else!

Fantastic service. I came in because a lens fell out of my glasses when I was here for my neice's basketball games. They put the lense back with a new screw for free. David was very helpful and I will recommend this store to my friends!

I’ve gotten 7 or 8 pairs of glasses from this VisionWorks over the past 12 years. Never had a bad experience. Staff always helped to make sure I got frames that fit well and I’ve never had a problem with seeing out of my glasses when I got them. Definitely recommended.

I had a glasses emergency. My sisters dog ate my glasses. They were my back up back up glasses. So i didnt have anything to turn to. I called and spoke with david burgess, one of the managers there. He was super sweet. I went in he helped me pick out a pair that were very flattering. He had the lenses and glasses ready for me to pick up in 20 minutes. Fastest i have ever recieved my glasses. I will deff be using them again.
