I have been going to Wink Eyecare for several years and I have always had an excellent experience there both for eye exams and for selection of eyewear. Dr. Farra is wonderful, very professional and kind as well. Garo is amazing; he really gets customer service and makes great recommendations for frames, of which there are many styles available. Highly recommend.

I have been having problems with my sight for years decided to try Wink EyeCare in hopes for some relief. I. So glad I did not only was I prescribed the CORRECT perception my eye strain reduced SIGNIFICANTLY and I will be going back every year for my annual eye exam. The Doctor including the staff were very nice and welcoming, it was a beautiful Saturday and didn't feel rushed and the doctor answered all my questions and concerns. Liked it first time but the second time twice on different occasions they tried to take advantage of me checking out and prepaying for my lens upgrade. Now my glasses are not ready as promised and when I called the woman again tried to coax me into adding a coating to my glasses saying I had before which I didn’t. Doctor is very nice but will be looking elsewhere.

Fantastic office and team. Professional, convenient, quality care. Doing all the post-covid things you would hope for to ensure even the most discerning clients are comfortable. I don't have vision insurance but their fees are more than fair. I love supporting small businesses in South Boston and Dr. Farra and her team are definitely a deserving group.

Dr. Farra is amazingly thorough, competent, and kind. The staff is the same. I was in for an appointment today and I was reflecting on what a positive experience the whole process was: from booking my appointment via Zocdoc, pre-appointment questions and quote from the staff (I was doing self-pay/no insurance so they confirmed that and gave me a price estimate), multiple confirmations of my time to arrive, and the courtesy and care I received while I was in the office. I highly recommend Wink Eyecare!!

The office itself was very Covid-19 forward with clear adherence to the guidelines, the staff were friendly and engaging, and Dr. Farra was professional and pleasant. As a Canadian citizen relocating for work in Boston, Dr Farra was my first foray into the American healthcare system. I was impressed. Dr. Farra and her staff are exceptionally polite, professional and personable. Dr Farra was extremely thorough, listened to my concerns, and I didn't feel like I was rushed or just another patient cycling through. Be warned, a dilation is not a fun experience -- but Dr Farra picked up some troublesome spots that my previous ophthalmologist had not identified. Absolutely recommend, the reviews below are genuine in their praise!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Farra and her team. I have been coming here since they opened and have never had a bad experience. I have referred several friends and family members, all of whom echo the same sentiment. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, professional and very helpful when it comes to insurance. They proactively canceled my appointment last week and let me know that I had to wait another week before my visit would be covered by insurance. I have seen other doctors where this was not the case and I ended up with significant out of pocket costs. I would recommend Dr. Farra to anyone!

Dr. Taline Farra is wonderful! She is bright and knowledgeable. She treats with such care and and also incredibly efficient. The staff are on top of all things insurance related. They also are great at ensuring you save the most money when ordering contacts and ensuring the highest rebate.

I am personally impelled to write a review for Dr. Farra and her team at Wink Eyecare. I have had trouble finding contacts that fit and work for me for years. With my astigmatism and seasonal allergies it has been tough finding a comfortable pair of contacts that also improve my vision back to where it used to be. Dr. Farra was able to accommodate my busy work schedule and had me come in for a contact exam. The exam was extensive and professional. She had me trial a couple pairs of contacts for 4-5 days until I found what I was looking for. It only took two trials before I found the perfect fit. She recommended me to switch from monthly contacts to dailies, which made for easy care, more consistent results, and allowed my eyes to breathe more (alleviating my itchy eyes due to allergies). She has a great staff as well, who are all extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. I definitely found my new eye doctor.

Wink Eyecare has been my go-to for vision correction for the past few years and will continue to be. I felt completely informed every step of the way regarding my bad habits and the reason why they’re bad (don’t sleep in your contacts!) and my options for now and the future as my eyes get worse with age (bifocals :-/). They’re also knowledgeable about insurance coverage and available rebates. No hidden costs or fees, everything is upfront and transparent. As a hermit during these trying Covid times, it is quite daunting to enter any enclosed space that isn’t my own. That being said, I felt completely safe the entire time I was there. I personally witnessed the cleaning procedures, everyone wore a mask, temperature checks, hand sanitizer, a limit of who can be in the office at one time, and a plexiglass barrier at the desk existed.

Immaculate office with strict Covid protocols in place. Newest eye health tech, very professional and knowledgeable staff, and a fantastic assortment of eyewear. Do not hesitate to use Dr. Farra and Wink for you eye-care needs!

Couldn't have asked for a better experience! I started coming to Wink years ago for an annual eye exam and would absolutely recommend to all. Dr. Farra was extremely helpful providing eye exams and teaching me how to insert and remove contacts. Even when I felt all hope was lost and would never get the hang of contacts, they invited me back for another training session (...or two) until I got it down. Emma was great assisting with training, while Meredith and Garo helped me pick out a new pair of reading glasses. Great crew at Wink. Thanks again guys!

Over the last year I've noticed my vision getting blurrier and my eyesight feeling more strained, especially when working on the computer and driving at night. I decided to visit the optometrist and was recommended to Dr. Farra by a friend. I didn't want to admit that I needed glasses, but when I got there the staff were very welcoming and made the process seamless and comfortable. I'd heard stories about how uncomfortable it is to get your pupils dilated, but I was pleasantly surprised to find I had the option to instead have digital images taken of my retina by a new machine they have. Dr. Farra fitted me for glasses and I was amazed by how much better I could see. Garo, one of the opticians, helped me pick out frames which I have gotten tons of compliments on. The receptionist Emma took care of my billing and made sure I got the best value from my insurance. My glasses arrived a week ago and I've worn them every day at work since - I can't believe I went so long without getting my eyes checked. I highly recommend Wink Eyecare and Dr. Farra to anyone who is looking for a new eye doctor in the area.

Dr. Farra and her team are outstanding. In addition to the excellent routine eye care, they also are fantastic for emergency eye care needs. I recently had an emergency eye issue and Dr. Farra and her staff were so helpful, provided excellent medical care, and were able to get me in to see a referral surgeon very quickly. They also continually check-up on me post proceedure to see how I was doing. I cannot say enough about the excellent medical care and compassionate assistance you will get at Wink Eyecare. They will also work with your insurance and you to make things cost effective too. I have a complicated eye persciption with astigmatism and my glasses and contacts have always been spot on - correct 100% of the time! At other places locally I've had issues getting the glasses perscription perfect, but not at Wink. Perfect every time!

Always a great visit. This time my appoint was right after the office re-opened during Phase 2. Though new measures in place, it did nothing but make feel comfortable with being and not really an inconvenience. Other than the few additional steps due to COVID - 19 protection, the visit was standard.
