Dr. Garrett is extremely knowledgeable about everything that has to do with your eyes. He also explains things so a layperson can understand them. The only reason I'm giving a four-star instead of five-star review is because I had been to the practice in a year, and, since that time, they did away with paper prescriptions. I wish they had told me that in an email or somehow before I paid my $60 co-pay. I decided to stick with the appointment because of the professionalism and knowledge of Dr. Garrett. He's great.

Honestly one of the most knowledgeable and professional doctors. He takes the time to explain diagnosis and treatment plans despite the pressure of expedited visits by corporate medicine. He did my PRK surgery years ago with excellent results. I would not hesitate to have him follow mine and my family members ophthalmology needs.

Following cataract surgery in 2020, I developed PCO with visual impairment that significantly effected my daily life. I had stopped driving at night and was having some difficulty seeing during the day. Dr. Garrett performed a YAG laser procedure on both eyes. The results was amazing. I'm now driving at night and am seeing better than I have in years. Dr. Garrett and his staff are fantastic.

Dr Garrett is a very pleasant, informative and professional eye doctor. This was for a second opinion visit and I felt much more relief after visit, as i was concerned that my vision was getting worse after my cateract surgery. He explained all very thoroughly! This was my first visit in February 2022. I just attended my yearly check up with Dr Garrett on 2.9.2023 and again was very satisfied!! And i am happy to have Dr Garrett as my eye specialist!!

I have been Dr.Gatrett's patient since 2007, when he performed a cataract surgery on both of my eyes. At that point I was legally blind, and couldn't read the largest letters and numbers on the chart. Dr. Garrett did an excellent job and returned my sight to 20/20. I believe that God directed me to him, and I am forever thankful for this blessing. Throughout the years I have visited Virginia Eye Care center for different minor eye problems and every time Dr. Garrett and his staff have provided me and my family with an exceptional service. He is very knowledgeable and competent, explains in details the condition, the treatment plan, the follow up steps, and takes the time to answer all the questions. Dr. Garrett treats his patients with respect and shows genuine concern about their eye health. He is friendly, easy to talk to and makes you feel welcome, and so are the other staff members in his office. I always give thanks to God for leading me and my family to him. He is a great asset and blessing to our community.
