During the first week of November I went to get my eyes checked and found out my left retina had detached. I was told I needed emergency surgery to prevent blindness in my left eye. I had vitrectomy surgery. They reattached my retina and left a bubble of gas in my eye. The gas should slowly disappear over a few weeks. I had to lay facedown for a whole week and could only lift my head to take eye drops a few times a day. Dr Nadim M. Rayess and his staff took amazing care of me. He Is an excellent doctor. He is knowledgeable, honest, professional, informative, caring and kind. I would leave 10 stars if I could.

Dr. Suner is a real professional. The cateracts surgery was amazing and it’s remarkable that I have 20/20 in my eye. The office staff are efficient, caring and made me feel very comfortable. Also I never had to wait more than afew minutes on all my visits. Other offices kept me waiting at least 30 to 60 min. Their follow up was excellent and I couldn’t be more pleased. A+ in all areas.

Dr. Rayess is my husband's doctor and he says Dr. Rayess is the best doctor he has ever been to. He is gentle, VERY knowledgeable, and will answer every question you have. My husband had vision issues after having cataract surgery at St. Lukes, implanting multifocal lenses, he developed blind spots and had other issues. St. Lukes was useless so we went to various doctors (neuro opthamologist, neurologist, etc) and finally were led to Dr. Rayess. He has replaced one of the lenses with just a regular lense (NOT an easy surgery)and has just been wonderful to work with. He really informs you as to what he needs to do, the office is responsive to concerns and questions, we are seen pretty much on time. We never feel like Dr. Rayess just wants us in and out, he really takes time with us and has been so professional, kind and caring.

Dr. Suner is an amazing doctor. I am a 38 year Type 1 Diabetic who has been under the care of Dr. Suner for many years. My eyes took a turn for the worst and Dr. Suner was patient( Especially with my emotions surrounding my eye issues) , understanding and knowledgeable. The staff ( Melissa, Bobby, Guy to name a few) are caring and always willing to help. If you are having eye issues, look no further. Dr. Sunar is an amazing doctor that really cares about his patients. Thank you Dr. Sunar for everything that you do!

Absolutely love the staff and doctors here they are all very caring and compassionate. I developed eye problems that required injections terrified the hell out of me and they made it much easier and put me to ease as much as you can be when going to get an eye injection they did it at my pace and took their time with me to explain everything till I understood it never making me feel stupid for any question I ever asked absolutely love the staff on the doctors would give them 20 Stars if I could

All of the staff are caring, friendly and efficient. The doctors are beyond reproach and you immediately feel assured and comfortable with them all. My husband and I are both patients there and although there are retina specialists much closer to our home, we prefer to travel the extra miles for such excellent care.

Thoroughly professional and no nonsense at all. My experience has been really good. Dr. Peden is very warm, knowledgeable and very approachable too. Seems a little pricey but you get what you pay for. Front desk people are also polite and nice. I would recommend to anyone needing advanced eye care.

But if you're looking for arguably the best retina specialist and surgeon in the Tampa Bay area, Dr. Suner is who you're looking for. He's conservative in his approach and adheres strictly to the Hippocratic oath. Additionally, he's the utmost in professional, and will go into depth answering your well thought out questions.

I have long history with this practice. My diabetic (1) son had about a dozen procedures from this team, they saved his sight. Remarkable given the circumstances. If God ever tapped on anyone's scalpel's, it was this team. Now, in my senior years, I am honored to have their service.

What a wonderful place. They are saving people's eye sight. Previous reviews about 'horrible' are either haters or reviewing the wrong doctors. Do other doctors pay haters to come here to attack their rivals?
