I found Dr. Levitt’s office staff to be very courteous, friendly, and efficient. Dr. Levitt is a very fine, knowledgeable, and kind, physician. He has always taken the proper amount of time to answer all my questions. He has continuously been very diligent and always very patient. Dr. Levitt has proved to be very thorough with every office visit. I highly recommend him and feel very fortunate that Dr. Levitt is part of the Tampa Bay medical community.

Follow up eye exam. Very satisfied with the results of my cataract surgery in both eyes 2 or 3 years ago. Got there 15 mins early for appt. Spent almost 2 hours at clinic. Saw Dr who was rushed for approx 3 mins. Ops somewhat chaotic due to plumbing problems. Nice people!

As a patient of Dr. Levitt since 2012, I couldn't be more pleased. Six years ago, he performed a cataract implant procedure that was a profound change in my life. It brought my right eye from 20/500 (really bad) to 20/20. Recently in a my annual eye exam, Dr. Levitt noticed some blurriness in my vision that needed some attention. He arranged for me to get in for his laser procedure the very next week. It was quick, efficient and got me back to much clearer vision. The good service from Dr. Michael Levitt extends through and beyond him to his entire staff who are highly professional and make me as a patient feel right at home. I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Levitt and his staff for my opthalmic services!

Dr. Levitt literally saved my eyesight. I had an extraordinarily high eye pressure due to acute narrow angles. Dr. Levitt was able to see me that day and brought my eye pressure down from a dangerously high level. He used medicines and in office procedures to do so. I am eternally grateful. AND, his office staff were professional, friendly, kind and continued to monitor my progress. They were very thorough with me and making sure I understood the issues. cant say enough good about this Dr. and staff. Had cataracts in both eyes and wore trifocals for 30 years. The procedure was painless and quick and I no longer wear glasses and with the implants I have 20/20 vision for distance and close up. I can see my way forward in life now, so this has been a game changer!! Highly recommend this office for all eye needs!

Having surgery on your eyes can be a nervous process. Dr Levitt and his staff are at the top of their profession, and definitely made me feel well cared for. I selected to have multifocal lenses for my cataract surgery as I loved them in my contacts. I was measured a few times to ensure the most accuracy. Even in surgery Dr Levitt was still ver precise. I truly respect as a Engineer. I will definitely recommend him and his staff. I am extremely happy with my 20/20 vision.

Dr. Levitt and staff were beyond exceptional! From the moment I "interviewed" him to see if I felt comfortable, as eye surgery made me extremely nervous, I scheduled my surgery dates before even leaving the office. Dr. Levitt and Gabriella did not rush or pressure me into making any immediate decisions however; after discussing in length as to what can be expected pre-op, post-op, and my vision results, I was excited to be rid of cataracts and contacts. The torque lens implant exceeded my expectations. I felt I was in great hands with Dr. Levitt and staff that I travelled from Tennessee to have this procedure done. I always felt cared for and truly looked after before, during, and after, all was said and done. I am confident in his skill and knowledge and would highly recommend him and his staff. Dr Levitt Is the best-of the best! I have always had such a great experience with all of our visits. He so thorough and really takes his time with his patients. He worked with my son who ultimately needed glasses and really took the time to sit down with him, explain everything thoroughly and answer any and all questions we had. Not once did I feel hurried or pushed out of the office. Also, the staff is wonderful, courteous and kind. He is a top notch physician and I would never go anywhere else! I was at the brink of losing my sight (after years of visiting other eye specialists and thousands of $ spent) when I was finally referred to Dr. Levitt in the Spring of 2018. From the moment I walked into the office (no clue at this point who the doctor is), I knew I was in the right place. The office staff were courteous, friendly, and highly trained professionals! When I finally met Dr. Levitt, it was like he knew me before I got there. The only reasonable conclusion I came to was that he'd taken his time to study my medical record and history. After a warm friendly welcome and professional hand shake, and a brief chat, he told me exactly the plan without mincing words. When I decided I was going to see another doctor due to travel plans, one of Dr. Levitt's assistants in particular would not stop calling to remind me the importance of seeing another doctor for a follow-up. As she puts it - "I don't want you to lose your sight." Whao!!! Due to this singular act, I decided not to entrust my eye care to anyone else but Dr. Levitt and his staff; even at an added travel cost cross-country! So we went back to the original plan (the doctor recommended). Fast forward to today, after the recommended surgery, I have gone from using 4 different eye drops and an oral medication (totalling about $300 per month) to using nothing, zero, none, "nada", NO medication at all! Most importantly, my sight is back to where I can see even without contacts or eye glasses - what a miracle! Dr. Levitt is not just another ophthalmologist but one in a million! And his front office staff and back room assistants are exceptional! God bless Dr. Michael J. Levitt & Staff!!!

Had a cornea transplant start to reject with other complications. My cornea doctor contacted Dr. Levitt as he was examining me and made arrangements for me to go directly to his office...at 3PM Friday afternoon. Dr. Levitt and staff were very welcoming and did a through evaluation. He explained the issues he found and immediately drained my eye to reduce the pressure that was several times normal. I was impressed that he took on a new patient late Friday afternoon and stayed with it until he did what was needed well after closing time. He made it clear I could and should call over the weekend if needed and has followed up for the last month. Vision is now nearly as good as it was prior to incident. Very easy to relate too and explains every step. A truly caring and talented Doctor.

I would highly recommend Dr. Levitt to anyone. His work on my eye has been nothing short of miraculous—I had a cataract that made me legally blind in one eye, and after surgery I can now see 20/20 out of that eye without glasses. The surgery was quick and painless. The worst part of the procedure was my anxiety over it, and if I had known what it would actually be like I would not have worried nearly as much. Recovery was only a minor inconvenience; I was able to attend a friend’s wedding only a couple of days later and I was back to work in under a week.

When I first called to make an appointment, the voice message was made by Dr. Levitt himself - I was impressed. The staff and Dr. Levitt were very pleasant and courteous, I felt like a human being, and definitely less stressed. Every waiting room including the dimly lit one (thank you) where you sit after your eyes are dilated is beautifully decorated with original art throughout. The chairs are comfortable and the atmosphere is relaxing. The appointment I dreaded turned out to be a pleasant experience.

I was sent to Dr Levitt by my Doctor at St. Luke. I had very high pressure and pain in my eyes. My peripheral vision had been restricted due to pressure on the optic nerve. A very serious situation. Under Dr Levitt’s Care I now have this insidious disease under control. He is a very skilled eye surgeon . I was lucky to have found him. His office is very nice. Had my cataracts done by Dr. Levitt recently and am now seeing better than 20:20 in each eye. I am 71 yrs young and only wished I had done this about 5 yrs ago..... No pain, no big recovery and everything on schedule. I tried to purchase the $5000 multi focus lenses but Dr. Levitt insisted I would be better off with the standard lenses ($99 each eye). I saved money and am so happy. Dr. Levitt also treats my wife who has been diabetic over 57 years and has some serious eye problems..... Since we moved to his practice about a year ago she is also seeing improvement. Michael J. Levitt is a good doctor and we highly recommend him.

Dr. Levitt performed cataract surgery on both eyes earlier this year. In the process, he corrected my vision to 20/20 using monovision -- right eye for distance, left eye for close work such as reading and computer. As a result I do not need any type of corrective lenses and I am very comfortable with the results. I have even received comments from other ophthalmologists saying that "whoever did my cataract surgery did a great job."

I am a retired surgeon and know how to judge a practice. I am very satisfied with Dr Levitt. The problem I went to see him has essentially resolved. My wait time to see the doctor is reasonable. He is centrally located, parking is ample, the office staff is professional, the facility, exam rooms, rest rooms and lounge are clean. I was really terrified about having cataract removal, (both eyes). Was not sure I could go through with it. I am very sensitive about my eyes. After consultation with Dr. Levitt and his expert staff at his office and, of course my wife I was convinced it was necessary. I can happily say the procedures were a breeze. Along with his staff and the surgery center staff, it was a piece of cake. I have had no discomfort at all. And I owe a lot to my wonderful wife for putting in the drops for me each day after the procedures, I am such a pansy that I cannot put eye drops in my eyes. And I can see so much better. Dr. Levitt is a true professional, the wife was nervous with only one functioning eye. She was not looking forward to someone operating on it. Dr. Levitt and his crew put her at ease and gave us clear instructions on the preparation needed both pre and post op.. We followed his instructions to the letter knowing that we need to keep the risk low of anything going wrong. He has followed up with her post recovery. Wife has 20-20 vision in her one functioning eye now. and is amazed at how the colors stand out and how light things are now. During a routine visit to an optometrist, I was diagnosed with severe glaucoma. This was at the close of the business day. Dr. Levitt waited while I drove from the optometrist to his office. The "extra mile" approach extends to his care. I have received expert care that now has my glaucoma at an acceptable level. Class act, a keeper.

most recently i develluped an anguler closer glacoma,in my right eye. My eye pressure spiked over 50psi,i was minutes from becomeing totaly blind,with Doc. LEVITT exp.and pro. help , i still have my sight. He came in on his day off,worked on me for over 2 and 1/2hrs. ,got my pressures down to save levels and save my sight. I own Doc.
