Excellent staff. Very professional and responsive. Everyone makes you feel like you are a valued patient and they take the time to explain things thoroughly and answer any questions. Dr. Diamanté, is very patient and kind, very detail oriented and thorough in every way. When he says he is available to his patients that is 100% correct. I had a question on the weekend prior to my surgery about the eyedrop I was using and he immediately called me back and also followed up the next day to make sure everything was fine.

I recently had laser cataract surgery on both eyes by Dr Diamante. The outcome was nothing short of amazing. I previously had traumatic damage to one eye due to an accident but he thought the outcome would be better with an advanced type lens. During the initial examination Dr Diamante took much time answering all of my questions and concerns without ever making me feel rushed or feeling he had somewhere more important to be. He has an aura about him that makes you feel comfortable from the very beginning. I did opt for advanced lens and at my appointment, the day after my second eye was completed, my vision was 20/20 in both eyes. Everything is crisp, clear, and the colors are more vibrant than ever. Dr Diamante is an excellent surgeon and well deserving of five stars.

I was thoroughly impressed and pleased with my experience with Dr. Diamante and his staff. Everyone is professional and courteous, before AND after. He has the most up-to-date equipment and procedures available. I chose the laser option with a lens that allows me to see without glasses. While this was the more expensive option because of my insurance limits, I chose it for my quality of vision. It was a refreshing experience to have discussions regarding my procedure and not feel at all pressured to go one way or the other based on price. Dr. Diamante is amazing. He takes his time to answer any questions or concerns before and after surgery. I can’t believe how easy he and his staff make it for their patients! I am healing faster and better than I anticipated by a long shot!! I am very, very happy that I chose Dr. Diamante for my cataract surgery. Dr. Diamante performs the surgery at Blackstone Surgical Center (down the street) in Johnston and they are also excellent! Check in and prep was a breeze. Everyone on staff is caring and comforting which is so helpful when patients are nervous. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Diamante or Blackstone Surgical to my family and friends!

I went to Dr Diamante because I needed cataract surgery. I also wanted my astigmatism corrected. Dr Diamante was able to do both. I was impressed with both him and his staff. He answered all my questions and explained everything that was going to happen. Everyone was very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. It was a well organized process with all the details taken care of. The surgery was painless and I was made comfortable during both surgery and recovery. I was amazed that I could see so clearly right after the surgery. I have worn glasses since I was 7, so it is quite a change. I still reach to take off my glasses when I go to bed, but of course, I’m not wearing any. The stars are sharp and clear. I can drive at night again. I hadn’t realized how much I was missing until Dr Diamante gave me new eyes.

Dr Diamante saved my vision! I would recommend him to anyone!!! He is very caring and extremely thorough during the exam. I developed severe starbursts and light sensitivity to the extent that i was completely blinded by oncoming headlights due to “mild” cataracts. If any backlight was present, I could not see who I was talking to. My cataracts were both “mild”, but the location was at the very back of the lens in both eyes, refracting light in every direction, essentially blinding me in any bright conditions. I needed to wear two pairs of sunglasses going outside or driving and could no longer drive at night. After seeing a completely DISMISSIVE dr at Koch, my eye dr called Dr Diamante and asked him to fit me in as an emergency patient. After my experience at Koch, my anxiety was running very high when I went for my appt with Dr Diamante. As soon as he looked at my eyes, he said “oh, there’s what’s causing all of the trouble”, I felt immediately validated and put at ease! We discussed cataract lens replacements in both eyes, and because of medication issues, asked if I would prefer general anesthesia (which again, put me at COMPLETE EASE). As I previously stated, he is very caring, thorough, and absolutely listens to the patients’ concerns! A+++ HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
