Wonderful experience! Staff was friendly and accommodating; facility was clean and bright; the surgery was quick and immediately effective, with slight initial blurred vision and mild burning afterwards (which is normal). My vision went from a -4.75 both eyes with an astigmatism to basically a 20/15 with both eyes not even 24 hours later. This was truly a life changing experience that I would recommend to all who are ready to take their sight back!

Compared to some places, they are a more costly, but it’s honestly a Life changing procedure. They legally weren’t able to work on my eyes 5+ years ago, but the technology has advanced to the point where the best procedure they offer is just a laser with 10 minutes of discomfort(depends on the person), then 4-6 weeks of recovery but having the freedom of your eyes back is totally worth it. They do offer a lifetime warranty of a free touch up as you get older. They are a solid, Solid choice to stick with

From the moment my virtual consultation ended, I knew that I picked the right place to entrust my eyes to! The staff is incredibly warm, welcoming, and friendly! Special shout out to Jada and Dr. Patel for keeping a smile on my face every day I saw them! And of course a huge thank you to Dr. Beyer, my surgeon! Truly this decision has changed my life for the better! I went in for an appointment on 11/5, my surgery was set for 11/10, went in for my post op appointment on 11/12, and I was all in the clear! It’s crazy how fast everything went! My vision went from -5.50 to 20/20 in just hours! Honestly, the hardest part was keeping my eyes closed for 4-5 hours right after surgery as I couldn’t get myself to take a nap. I experienced slight stinging, but it didn’t last long. Maybe for 2-5 minutes. There was no pain after that. And now, I can see even better than what my glasses were doing for me! Still getting used to not having glasses as I’ve been in them for over 20 years. Please don’t hesitate any longer! LASIK Vision Institute really has your back!

I’m one day out from LASIK surgery and feelin great! Seeing great too — 20/15 according to the vision exam. The doctors, surgeons, and staff were warm, helpful, and reassuring. Klelya took my initial measurements and answered any questions and concerns I had. The surgery itself was a little uncomfortable but very brief and well worth a lifetime of better than average vision.

Been wearing glasses since I was 5 years old. My prescription became as bad as -9.50 and I had an astigmatism on top of that, the laser procedure took literally about 53 seconds each eye. You stare at a red dot and before you know it you're good as new. Since my vision was so bad the performed prk, the same surgery they give soldiers in the army. It's a bit longer to heal since my eyes were so bad, but it was the safest bet in my case. I've been wearing glasses almost all my life, lasik vision institute helped changed that. The process is easy they give you a free evaluation to see if you are a good candidate for lasik and if you are they show you all the different payment options. They are really friendy and considerate here and they work with each and everyone as an individual, not a number, and cater to their every needs. Thankyou Lasik Vision institute!

Super quick, super easy, super great. I’ve been waiting all my life to get lasik and I’m glad I finally did. I went to this location because it was the closest to me and it was just fine. I had the consultation on a Friday and then did the surgery the Thursday after. The surgery itself was not bad at all. No reason to fear since most everything is done by the machine and the tech is pretty advanced. I’m about a week past the initial surgery and it’s crazy how clearly everything is already. Really quick turnaround. The consultation is free so I would suggest if you’re interested at all to go for that and then you can make the decision after if you do want to go for it.

Had a phenomenal experience! During my consultation, the tech Francisco took the time to answer every question - he even drew me diagrams to show how everything worked, and knew all the stats and medical questions. Dr Patel was lovely and answered more of my questions in the phone, and when I had to postpone my appointment they even honored the original promotion! Day of everything went so smoothly. Dr Jackson was efficient and patient. It was uncomfortable but he gets you through it and it’s SO FAST. Definitely ask for Xanax though!! I was seeing pretty well right away, but After my 3-4 hour nap, I could see pretty much perfectly! The next day for my follow up I has 20-15 vision! Thank you so much!!

My entire experience from the consultation to the post op follow up has been nothing but pleasant at the Lasik Vision Institute (Brooklyn Heights location). All of the staff has been very warm and welcoming. On procedure day, the Dr. and other staff in the OR were so nice and reassuring. The procedure took no more than 10 minutes to complete and it wasn’t bad at all. Afterwards, my eyes were very sensitive and uncomfortable, but I went home and slept for about 5 hours. When I woke up, I was feeling much better. Here I am today, the day after surgery and my vision is 20/15! Better than 20/20 😊. If you are on the fence about LASIK, do it! I have no regrets whatsoever and would highly recommend this office to anyone seeking LASIK surgery.

This is the best place to go to if you want Lasik! I give their hospitality and professionalism a 10/10. They kept it simple and told me everything i needed to know and addressed every single concern i could’ve possibly had. Went in on Tuesday, got the procedure done Thursday, and a simple follow up on Friday. I had a really high prescription and high astigmatism too but that didn’t bother the doctor at all, he still got both eyes done in under 10 minutes. Love the fact that i can see 20/20 without glasses on the day after. Just make sure you follow their aftercare instructions and you won’t be bothered at all. Loved everything about the process!

I had a really great experience at this office. Everyone at the office was super nice and friendly and totally understands the nerves you feel before surgery. They were so reassuring and gave me a lot of supportive words during the whole process. I didn’t even feel anything during the procedure and it honestly felt sooo fast per eye and I’m already seeing 20/15 the day after! My eyes are not super dry either but I do put on the lubricant eye drops every 1-2 hours.

I just finished my consultation with this location and just wanted to share my experience because it was so great and I loved the staff! I had been shopping around for lasik for the past 2 weeks, the locations I’ve been to did not do a good job creating a interpersonal relationship with me like this location did. I went in at 8am, I’m usually a very nervous person when it comes to someone getting close to my eyes, but Jada (shout out to her!) made the process so easy and fun and reassuring. I also told her about my experience with other locations and she made extra sure to explain the step by step process so I would leave the location knowing all the details. On top of that they had a great payment plan that other locations just could not compete with! It was a win win all around for me. This review is in regards to the consult visit - I have not done the surgery. In the last couple of weeks I have went to three different Lasik consults including the one at Lasik Institute. I will say the experience here was wonderful. The entire staff was friendly and pleasant. I was assisted by Genisis for most of the visit. She was very knowledgeable and informative on the whole process. She was very thorough and took her time explaining each step in the process. The Dr also did not rush the process, took her time answering all my question. The prices are slightly higher than the other locations I went to, I believe it may have to do with them using a more advanced laser. I am unsure if I will do the procedure as of now so I can’t speak to that. If you are considering Lasik though I would recommend recommended giving Lasik Vision Institute a try and setting up the free consultation.

Only complaint I have is I wish I did it sooner.. the staff was amazing. Lily especially made sure she kept me up to date with all important information and was very kind and friendly.. Best decision I ever made! I had my surgery done 4 days ago, and as soon as I got home and took a 4 hour nap, I already saw a big improvement in my vision. I can read address numbers without squinting, and I noticed I don’t need to turn my head as much while driving. At my follow up appointment yesterday, the sight test confirmed that I now have 20/15 vision, which is far better than I expected. Only 10 minutes of surgery has changed my life forever, and I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to get rid of contacts or glasses. No side effects either, just take the eye drops for dryness and wear your sunglasses for one week, that’s all!

I got Lasik last Friday and it's 3 days later and I am amazed at the results. I have worn glasses for 20+ years and have high astigmatism so I wasn't sure if I would be a good candidate. I got approved for Lasik at the Brooklyn location and I'm glad to have gotten it done. Very professional. The procedure itself was very quick and painless. The first 4 hours were a little painful as the numbing eye drops wore off but I took Tylenol and slept it off. When I woke up, I was definitely feeling much better and could see better than I used to before when I would take off my glasses. Definitely recommend.

I had a wonderful experience at the LASIK Vision Institute in Brooklyn on Court Street. I had my LASIK (with Corona) procedure done two weeks ago and I am feeling great and can see FANTASTICALLY. I have spent years wanting to do LASIK but was too afraid to do it and now I wish I had done it earlier. I started with a virtual consultation which helped me decide that LASIK was something I definitely wanted to do. I then did an in person consultation with Francisco who was so kind and wonderful that he made me calm down and actually be excited about the procedure. I also met with Dr. Patel who was also just wonderful. Francisco and Dr. Patel were both instrumental in my decision to actually get LASIK and get it at this location. They were knowledgeable, truthful, and made me feel safe. After qualifying for the procedure I actually scheduled it immediately a few days later under the recommendation of Francisco so that I wouldn't scare myself into canceling it and so I could start enjoying my new eye sight as soon as possible. The procedure was VERY quick and I was aware of every step because I had been told beforehand and the surgeon made sure to tell me exactly what was going to happen. I would recommend bringing stress balls to hold during the procedure, just to help you relax! That was at noon and by 6pm that night my vision was 100% better and I realized everything was dirtier than I had previously thought and I had a lot of cleaning to do. I even drove the next day. You are given directions, goggles, sunglasses, and eye drops to use for a week and it's all very easy to follow and do. My two follow up appointments were quick and went great. I would do this once a year if it meant I could see like I can now forever. I am VERY happy with my experience. Just for reference my eyes were: -2.75 in my right eye and -2.25 in my right with astigmatisms in both.

The procedure is extremely quick (I don't think it even lasted five minutes for me) and you don't feel a thing. I got it done on Friday afternoon and by that evening I was seeing everything crystal clear. I did have some dryness in my eyes the first few days after. However, the drops they give you help immensely with this. About a week after, the dryness subsided and I was seeing better than 20/20. My only regret is not doing LASIK sooner.

The LASIK Vision Institute in Downtown Brooklyn is really out here changing lives and doing the Lord’s work! I feel like a newborn kid, I could never catch the ball in middle school lacrosse and lagged behind others in sports without my glasses, but now I have 20/15 vision and they say my vision will get even better the next few days as I recover more! Best decision ever. Thanks to the fact that my contact subscription didn’t send me contact lenses for months. My friend referred me here after she got her Lasik done with them a week ago. People here are very nice. If you are still indecisive, don’t be. Come here!!! Also brought a friend with me on the surgery day to take me home. We both ended up having the surgery the same day. He got evaluated and happened to be a good candidate for the surgery so I urged him to just get it done. Now we are contact lenses free men! Best decision I have made. I know have almost 20/12 vision! I had a consultation which was free. Dr. Patel and Lily answered all of my questions patiently. They scheduled me for an appointment within a week. They gave me all the instructions which made me feel prepared. Then I came in for my surgery and they really calmed my nerves. I had my surgery and it was so quick - it felt like less than 5 minutes total. The recovery period was also so quick - only 1-2 days. After the first follow-up which was two days after, my vision was at 20/20. Then, my next follow-up was a couple of weeks after where my vision was pretty much 20/12 (I was able to read 4 out of the 5 letters)! I can't believe how life-changing this was. It is silly but you don't have to think about the small things like packing glasses, contacts, and solution while traveling or when wearing makeup, eyeliner getting on the contact. We take these things for granted. Totally worth it!

You know I was tried of misplacing my glasses, tried of them falling of my face, tried of getting them fix. I got my consultation done with Francisco salas very nice guy down to earth and very honest. Was approved for surgery and got it done the same week. The procedure went amazing. Didn’t last more than 10 mins. Me personally I didn’t experience any problems or any major pain just when I left the sun light made my eye a lil dry. But I got home took a nice long nap and woke up seeing HD 4K. These ppl have me seeing better than 20/20 literally. I highly recommend them the work fast and easy. Loved everything about it.

I recently did my lasik procedure with contura and honestly it was not the best experience. I was NOT given anti anxiety meds so I was awake and could see feel and smell everything. It was very traumatic and scary for me. Although it was a short procedure it was a very memorable one. My scheduling process was not the most ideal either because they only had Thursdays available and before I made the decision to really have the procedure they made a hard inquiry on ny credit report for the finance of the procedure with carecredit. I called to get more details prior to my procedure because I felt like there was not enough information including me needing to come in for a postop follow up less than 24 hours after having the surgery. The whole process gives me mixed feelings because yes I do believe the procedure was necessary and can be very helpful but be sure to shop around and see if you can get a better experience than I had.

I had LASIK done here and I had a good experience here. I had my appt for the consultation first thing in the morning. They checked my eyes using the various machines they have there. They definitely know what they're doing, and they work quickly. The staff there is light hearted and has a sense of humor. I got the LASIK done that same day, so I came back later that day to get it done. From the time I entered the door to the time I left was about 45 minutes. The procedure itself is quite short, but it is not easy, in the sense that if you think it's some piece of cake procedure where you won't feel a thing, it's not. So just mentally prepare yourself for a bit of difficulty and self control. All in all I would recommend them to a friend

Don’t think about it twice - if you’re considering having LASIK, book as fast as you can and make sure you’re doing it with this Brooklyn team. Prior to my surgery I was absolutely terrified and nervous. I previously had corneal ulcers and know what eye pain can feel like so I had tremendous anxiety going into my surgery. I was so scared that I completely froze when it was time to have my procedure. If you’re feeling scared and nervous, it’s totally normal but having gone through the process I can now say the anxiety was for nothing. The surgery was about a minute long and I didn’t feel a single thing. Not only is the surgery easy, quick and painless but the entire team treats you like family and reassures you throughout your surgery that everything will be fine. Dr. Jackson has a very calm demeanor while operating that helps you relax and Dr. Patel is very thorough and available to answer all of your questions before and after. The rest of the team, Lily, Francisco and Dana were unbelievably accommodating and truly demonstrated first-in-class bedside manner. I was incredibly comfortable from beginning to end - from the moment I walked in when they checked my temperature to the moment when my surgery was complete. If you’re still debating having LASIK, do yourself a favor and book ASAP - ask for anyone named above and you will be in the best hands - you will wonder and regret that it took you so long to do it. The results are everything they’re hyped to be, I see so much clearer, sharper, and at night - I no longer have to squint and look for my glasses when it’s dark - life changing is an understatement.

Absolutely love this place! I'm day one post op and I'm already seeing 20/20. My results have definitely amazed me considering I was a minus 7 going into the procedure. The team at the Brooklyn center are the happiest and kindest people! Dana and Lily especially made the process very smooth and extremely streamlined. I genuinely enjoyed walking into the offices every time, being greeted so warmly and taken care of so efficiently. The team has obviously taken the proper steps to ensure safe distancing and cleanliness of the space. My first visit with the scans and measuring were the longest, and I was accommodated even after a scheduling error. I met Dr. Patel on my second visit and she has so friendly and communicated everything very thoroughly and answered all my questions. My third appointment was surgery, which they convinced me to get quicker than I had planned for, but they were right, why wait? The longest period was waiting to inside where I was put in a room alone, unfortunately you can’t bring someone with you due to Covid restrictions but that’s totally okay, it was a smooth process anyway. I met Dr. Jackson as I walked into the operating room, the interaction was brief but he seemed very calm and ready to go and that’s all that mattered because I was fairly nervous. The surgery process was as quick as they describe and besides loud noises, it was completely painless. I am almost a month post the procedure and seeing 20/20! Sensitivity and dryness still occur, but I feel improvements every day, following all the instructions they gave me, the healing process has been easy. So easy I often forget I had a procedure ! The freedom that LASIK facilitated for me in my life is priceless and I am so happy that I had decided to take the plunge and do the corrective surgery. I had very bad nearsightedness and a coworker of mine encouraged me to look into LASIK after having done his with great results. I called for a free consultation which was easy to schedule and I was able to also schedule a same day surgery. The office suite is very clean and well kept and every staff member is warm, friendly and professional. They provided ample information, and allowed time for questions or concerns to be brought up. The doctor doing the procedure also meets with you prior to detail what will happen to keep you as prepared and informed as much as possible. The procedure for ME went as explained and was actually quick. There were marked immediate results which improved for me quickly over time. The recovery period was also smooth having followed instructions closely. After everything, my eyes adjusted to 20/20 vision. I am more than satisfied with my experience and I’m sure you will too. This review comes two years post my Lasik surgery – I had a lot going on the last two years, COVID-19 and cancer treatment. But I knew I would get back to writing a review for The LASIK Institute because although I do not leave reviews often; I do believe The LASIK Institute is well deserving of one. Opting for Lasik vision correction has been one of the few greatest investments I have made in my life. The gratification of doing away with wearing prescription glasses, which I had been doing for 19 years; As well as, no longer having to rely on contact lenses, is incomparable. The LASIK institute made my Lasik experience a very positive one. Everything about The LASIK Vision Institute felt right, the consultation, the actual Lasik procedure and the post-op care. The staff members have always been extremely kind and courteous. They addressed all of my questions, comments and concerns before, during and after the Lasik procedure. There was always someone available to take my calls and accommodate my schedule. On the day of the actual procedure, I recall my body physically shaking with angst in the waiting area because it was my first experience with a surgery of that nature. The providers who did my procedure spoke to me throughout the entire surgery because they could sense my nervousness. The conversation helped me feel at ease. The follow up care is on point. The staff went above and beyond to make sure my eyesight was healing properly and that I was otherwise, doing fine. Currently, I have health insurance through my employer which helps cover vision services, among other things. Nevertheless, I prefer going to the LASIK institute for my annual checkups, even if that means, having an out-of-pocket expense for the service. Their customer service, is all around, impeccable, both from the front desk staff and the doctors. I would and have already recommended The LASIK Vision Institute to colleagues and close relatives. I do not regret my decision of choosing and trusting The LASIK Vision Institute with my sight. P.S. They offer complimentary tasty coffee too. P.P.S. Disney World like hospitality with incredibly knowledgeable staff! Dr. Sapna Patel was transparent and answered all my questions, concerns and even things I didn’t have on my mind. I finally made the leap for the contoura lasik surgery, my vision wasn’t too bad but it was difficult to see farther away. I was able to do same day surgery Helps if you have your eyes dilated and checked up to 6 months prior). I was greeted by Klelya who was pleasant and informative.Wait times are brief. Since I was an easy candidate and with their promotion I was only charged $4,000 (which is fairly affordable) The procedure was quick with a little discomfort from pressure. But those numbing drops really put in the work. I was in and out in 90 minutes; consult and procedure combined! Now at my follow up, I have 20/15 vision. Definitely recommend taking that nap after and plan nothing for after. Maybe even plan someone to come over to help with childcare.

I got the Lasik operation on March 5 at the Brooklyn Lasik Vision Institute and I cannot recommend the place and staff enough! I had my first appointment on February 27, and after being told that I was eligible, I booked my surgery appointment for March 5. Everything went well, I followed the instructions and took a nap after the surgery. My eyes were sensitive and dry for a couple of days so I wore sunglasses and used the eye drops as recommended. During my first checkup appointment I was told that my vision was already 20/12! And I just had my second and last appointment today, my vision is still a strong 20/12 and I am completely healed! Big shoutout to Lily and Dr Patel, they made the whole experience so smooth! Like really, it is so important to feel comfortable during a surgery process like Lasik. You will probably be nervous like i was for the procedure but there is not really any pain. There is a bit of pressure when they put some metal machine on your eye, but no pain from the laser. Everyone at LVI Brooklyn is very professional and nice. Easy to make appointments. Straightforward doctors and staff. They try to make you welcome and relaxed. I did my surgery about 2 years ago in this place. The staff and doctors are super sweet!!!! They care a lot about their patients and treat them well when they come for a follow up. I am saying this from my amazing experience. They are very honest with you about whether they think the surgery is right for you. After I got my surgery done, 2 of my brothers went for a free consultation to see if they were able to get the surgery done, and it turned out that they couldn't due to some eye issue they had. I really recommend this place if you're interested on getting the surgery done!! First of all, as a glasses wearer since I was 5/6 years old (I'm 31 now), LASIK has always been a dream that I didn't expect to come true. I completed the first part of my consultation over the phone (Oct 28) and then went on site in Brooklyn, NY on Nov 14th and went through the rest of the eye exam with Francisco. Francisco was absolutely friendly, wonderful and a well informed person. He answered all my questions and even put my fears of not being to afford this procedure at ease. He left no stone unturned and when I made the decision to have my LASIK done, there was no doubt in my mind. During every visit and including the day of my surgery, the staff was extremely nice and comforting. Dr. Alexandrovich was my surgeon. Such steady hands during the procedure. I can see why he receives such high ratings and remarks. He did an absolutely stellar job. My post-op was short. I was in on Saturday and Sunday morning I was back to regular scheduled programming. I got LASIK done at this location on November 28th, and I can honestly say that getting LASIK was one of the best choices I ever made! Still can’t believe I can see now without the hassle of tired, irritated eyes from contacts or the inconvenience of glasses. All of the staff at the LASIK Vision Institute (especially Dana and Lily, since I interacted with them the most) were super friendly and made the process so easy! I went in for my initial eye appointment on a Friday, everything looked good, and I was able to schedule my LASIK surgery for the very next day because they had availability, as well as a sale ($3800 for both eyes)! I immediately booked it! The following day was super smooth, my procedure felt like it took less than 10 minutes, and, for me personally, the procedure itself was not painful at all! My surgeon, Dr. Aleksandrovich, did a great job! That night after the surgery my eyes were definitely red, irritated, and hurt, but that’s why they tell you to go home and sleep for a few hours. The next morning (Sunday), they felt A LOT better, and by Monday, when I went in for my follow-up, they were feeling fine. At my follow-up, I learned that I now had 20/15 vision, which is even better than 20/20!! Amazing! Since then, my eyes have continued to recover and they have been totally fine! Almost 1 month out, I am extremely happy with my decision to get this procedure done at the LASIK Vision Institute, and I would definitely recommend both LASIK + this specific location to anyone! Had the procedure done back in October and everything is still crystal clear. I had my original operation set at a different location but there was a malfunction with the machine that day (I won’t disclose location, despite what happened they were professional in everything else) so all scheduled procedures were canceled. So my choices were either wait until next weekend to get it done or go to the Brooklyn location the next day. I basically gave my job prior notification that I would be taking a few weeks off for this procedure, so it would be hard to be accommodated again for an extra week. I chose to come here the next day and definitely do not regret my decision! They went above and beyond my expectations in accommodating a last minute operation with less than 24 hours notice from a client who has never spoken to single staff member there. The entire visit lasted about an hour including: checking in, eye check up, and actual operation. The whole experience was very pleasant from what I originally imagined and I was definitely nervous coming in. Thanks again for the new eyes and for being professional/outstanding during a time when it’s least expected!

Right now I am after a third visit with them - post op check. My first visit started with questions and temp check regarding covid 19 prior to visit and prior to entrance, I was reassured everything was sanitized in the waiting room and I was the only person in the waiting room during all my visits - even if I wasn’t, it’s large enough to have few people there and still remain 6 feet apart. Then the awesome Dana performed a series of measurements, tests etc to check my visual needs and determine if I’m a candidate. After that Dr. Patel checked and confirmed those results. And I was a candidate. Eventually the lovely Lily gave me my quote and I put the deposit down. The consultation took over an hour, I thought I was just going to chat with someone for a few mins haha so was quite surprised at how thorough they were. Everyone is so friendly and kind I feel like everyone knows me, cares about me and wants the best for me. Idk about you, but excellent customer service can make the world of difference. It’s like a whole cheerleading squad just trying to help you see and it felt very genuine. The surgery itself was short. I was very scared, and would identify myself as a semi difficult patient, I get really scared. During the surgery after they noticed how stressed I was getting I got a stress ball, eventually someone was holding my hand. Idk how they knew I needed it. The general words of encouragement meant the world to me. When you can suddenly see without glasses. No moment is more surreal. The LASIK vision institute did just that. I had an excellent experience at Lasik Vision Institute. They are a chain, but they are the real deal. My eyesight was -6.75 in one eye and -4.5 in the other, and now I can see 20/15. I seriously can't believe it! It's magical. The staff is extremely warm, knowledgeable, and high-energy. Lily (the center manager), Dr. Patel, and Dana were the main people I worked with and they were total pros. Lily especially went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and give me the best possible deal. She's a gem. Recovery has been much easier than I expected. My vision was already perfect right after surgery except for some strong haloes. The first few hours were rough as the numbing drops wore off, but by that night I felt no pain whatsoever. I continued to see strong haloes for 2 days or so, but it's been just 5 days now and they're already almost gone. The haloes should continue to disappear over the course of the next month. Tips: It seems like they have a really good Thanksgiving deal, so try booking around now for the lowest price. Based on my research, LVI has some of the best prices in Brooklyn. Also, if you book a consult here, they will definitely encourage you to schedule your surgery soon (1-2 weeks). That turned out to work for me anyway, but just keep it in mind. They don't pressure you, but they will certainly encourage you. Overall: great experience. Got exactly what I paid for. I still can't believe how magical this surgery is.

So of course I was nervous doing this. I received a groupon and had to schedule the appointment within 3 months. I went to the consultation and the staff was amazing (Dr. Rob, Lily, Amanda, Ethan, Francisco, Dr. Fox). Amanda was very thorough in explaining the process and the different tests that were being done to assess if I was eligible. That was on Wednesday. Saturday (yesterday) i came in for my appointment. I was the last patient for the day after the doctor had 28 other patients!!! Dr. Fox walked me through the entire procedure as it was being done. I felt zero pain and this morning i am seeing 20/20 vision (note that this is better than they expected). I have worn glasses for 22 years. I came to the consultation with a -7.75 prescription. Having LASIK done has been my dream ever since I was a teen. I was promised to have at least 90% vision after the surgery which would be amazing. It didn’t feel real until the moment I stepped into the operating room! The Dr Beyer had very steady hands and calming voice. I would be much more nervous otherwise. I loved that doctors would count down the seconds until each step was done - it gave me extra peace of mind. I was able to see the time on the wall clock right after I opened my newly fixed eyes. I was given all the sunglasses and stuff and sent right home to have a long nap. I felt fully relaxed and rested when I woke up and the vision became ever clearer. I took off the eye shields next morning and finally felt like a normal person who can see without any extra contraptions! No more blind looking for glasses in the morning if they were stolen by a baby, no more broken glasses, no more contacts for events or photo sessions! I just came out of the post-surgery check up where I was told that my vision exceeded expectations and I have 20/15 which is even better than 20/20 and (of course) better than the promised 90%! That’s incredible! I have just the usual expected side effects like light-sensitivity, dry eyes etc and they are expected to be gone in 1-2 weeks. I’m using the prescribed eye drops and it helps. I’m also very happy I had the newest laser technology used - we researched a lot about it. Omg and of course - the staff!! The administration, nurses and doctors were the sweetest ever - they make you feel more comfortable and cheer you up:) Thank you so much, LASIK Institute! It was a great experience:)

Updates as of 11/03/2019: I had the Contoura Lasik procedure done yesterday and it was a success! The entire staff at LVI made me feel so comfortable before, during the after the surgery. They even had donuts and hot beverages available for patients before the surgery! Overall the procedure was absolutely painless and one of the nurses even offered to let me hold her hand because I was a little tense. The fact that I could see everything as it was happening was a bit strange and the thought of what was happening was the most frightening part. However, they talked to me and encouraged me through the whole procedure which made me feel at ease. Immediately after the surgery I was able to see the clock on the wall and things around the room that I would not have been able to see before without my glasses. Before and after the surgery they went over the importance of using my eye drops as prescribed. I love that they are open 7 days a week because I was able to have follow up appointment scheduled on a Sunday. I would definitely recommend LVI to anyone considering Lasik. Each staff member made me feel very comfortable throughout the consultation process. I really like how detailed they were in assessing my eyes and they explained each step along the way. I am very impressed.

I got my lasik done here. It was a pretty decent experience overall. My vision is incredibly better than what it was before. The doctors were patient and encouraged me to ask questions about the procedure. The manager was professional and made me feel comfortable. The office is very spacious with lots of seating and a little refreshment station. I did have to wait a bit after my appointment times to be seen for the consult and for the lasik surgery, but the results are worth it.

My experience was awesome. The employees were all so kind and forthcoming with information and answered all of my questions. I went in for a consultation on. Friday and received my surgery the next day. The surgery lasted just about 10 minutes or so. It was a bit scary immediately after and for the remainder of the day because I could barely see. However, the next morning I was able to see the time on the clock, which was about 15 or so feet away. I felt like I had new eyes. It was as if I was wearing my glasses. It has been a week since my surgery and it is great being able to go outside and see without glasses, which is something I would have never been able to do previously. I absolutely loved the staff and loved that I FINALLY went through with the Lasik procedure. I was super nervous at first (for the typical fear ending up blind!!!) The read a ton of reviews. I asked my friends about their experience. All seemed to be very pleased with the results. I'm very happy to now be on that side of the experience. I was able to see the very next day (in which I was able to enjoy the Giants and Bears game live). You won't be able to wear eye makeup after surgery, so I would plan for that if that matters to you. As far as the actual surgery went, taking into account that I’m seeing fabulously, I would give them 5 stars. My major complaint would be that I didn’t feel they respected my time. I was asked to come in an hour earlier than my original appointment, only to wait over 4 hours to be seen. The procedure itself was quick and painless. It took about an hour and a half from the time I was called back until I was leaving the office ( mind you, I arrived at 2pm and left after 8 pm). The exams were thorough and designed to put you at ease. My original consultation was on a Monday and I had my surgery the following Friday. Don’t get me wrong, they’re good at what they do, ultimately that’s what matters most.

Everyone was kind here, but I felt rushed and uncertain through the whole process. LVI feels sales-pitchy, but it's good to be able to see. I was very nervous so I asked for a valium Rx, which they forgot to send to the pharmacy the day of the procedure. By the time I could take it, it didn't take effect for the procedure itself and I panicked part way through. You are also in the surgery room with a care team you have never met until that moment. My vision is mostly clear, though, and I hope it keeps improving.

My experience in short: Got evaluated and a cost for Contoura LASIK on Thursday morning, appointment for surgery on Sat morning (2 days later), 1 hour of waiting, 6-8 minutes of painless surgery, 4 hours of discomfort and mediocre eye pain following that and then absolutely no more pain. Took some Advil PM and woke up with perfect vision. I have better than 2020 vision (2012) and other than taking some antibiotic eye drops I am good to go. I have required glasses or contacts in order to function since before I can remember. Today, I woke up and could see clearly without fumbling around my nightstand in the area I thought I left my glasses when I fell asleep. I didn't accidentally bump my glasses off the nightstand and under my bed, or worse, into my trash can. I didn't have to weigh the options of looking my best and poking myself in the eyes. I just went about my life. If I had known how easy this and inexpensive this could be, I would have done this years ago. In the past ten years I've easily spent as much or more on checkups, new prescriptions, broken or scratched lenses, and contacts as I spent in this procedure. The surgery itself lasts about 10 minutes and as far as pain goes, I've worn shoes that were more uncomfortable. I absolutely love my new vision! The Brooklyn team was excellent, from beginning to end, and currently. I always felt safe, that ALL of my questions were answered (I ask A LOT, and repeatedly, Lilly, Dana, Darlene & Dr. Patel are VERY patient haha) and under the laser Dr. Rozakis calmed me so effortlessly. I loved how friendly the staff was, and not in a fake Orange Theory friendly way, but a genuine appreciation for what they do. Dana truly made me feel no pressure throughout the consultation, and coming from a sales background I appreciated how she confidently assumed the sale and never once asked me was this something I wanted-- rather lead me through a series of test that made me committed to the idea of the surgery even more. Informative, covid safe, and paced well. I never commented on it, but I enjoyed it. My only gripe about the entire experience, was the additional costs that seems pop up, undiscussed until they pop up. I can see that it was naive of me to assume that the cost would just be what they charged for the surgery. The cost of the medicine & yearly eye exams was something felt should've been introduced up front. I understand why they're necessary but if you're getting Lasik because you're tired of spending on glasses, you're not saving anything, rather spending more, dependent on your vision. Thankfully, they helped with the medicine. That didn't take a star away from the experience because money is temporary and the customer service experience is paramount. The confidence that I have being able to simple look someone in the eye from 10 feet away has nearly changed my life! Being able to drive because I didn't forget my glasses is a true gift. Being out at night and being able to identify people immediately makes me feel safer than I EVER have. I would say honestly-- if you're on the fence just do it, the confidence that comes with vision is something every person needs! Don't let poor vision hold you back, when an 8 minute surgery can enhance the quality of your life!

From the second I scheduled my consultation, all the way through my check up following the day of my operation, I had an entire team of friendly specialists keeping me up-to-date, assured, and informed throughout the entire process. The facility is extremely sanitary, the office has a very warm and welcoming vibe, and all of the specialists are perfectly transparent and willing to answer any questions you may have. It's been one day since my operation, and I'm pleased to report that I've woken up with 20/15 vision, and my vision is slated to be even stronger with more recovery! I am referring both my mother and sister, so take this as a raving review. I would recommend this institute to anyone looking to change their lives. Before I set foot in their immaculately clean and covid-aware office suite, I felt like they were all friends and I would shortly become apart of the family. I was nervous in the waiting room... My tension was relieved by the infomercial being played. It explained the procedure and had interviews with satisfied customers. It also answered some of my questions. Although, it was something as small as watching a video, it eased my anxiety and reminded me why I was there. I got excited! My consultation was lead by Francisco and Dr. Patel. They were very patient with my evaluation. Since my vision was so bad, we had to restart some of the eye exams. If you missed it - I said evaluation! The consultation is to determine if you're a candidate for the procedure. There's no guessing game! They use several state-of-the-art machines to check and map your eyes so they can customize the treatment just for you. At the end you get a cost estimate, which is very reasonable. They work with you and offer financing. I left the consultation with a game plan and knew I was in good hands. I was no longer nervous! "I'm getting this done, I can do this!" When I returned, I was left in the good hands of Dr. Jackson and his crew. They walk you through all the steps and make sure you understand the procedure - before and during. I could tell they were all confident in their abilities and had constant communication with each other and myself. I basically laid there while they got to work. I WAS IN AND OUT OF THE OPERATION ROOM IN A MATTER OF MINUTES! After the procedure my vision was instantly better! And, 3 days later, it was confirmed that my vision was 20/20 during the post-op visit! I am just one of many satisfied customers - just read all of their 5 star reviews. Best decision ever! I have been looking into getting Lasik for quite some time. I am so glad I finally did it! I had -3.5 eyesight and I am now a few days post op with no pain and better than 20/20 vision, thanks to the Lasik Vision Institute! On the day of the surgery I went in, and Dr. Beyer conducted the laser procedure in under 4 minutes in each eye. It was shocking! It is now three days after the procedure and I can see clearly, I have no pain, and I am so grateful for this dream come true! I had lasik done at the vision institute about 2 weeks ago and am so glad i did. Everyone at the lasik institute was so welcoming and reassuring based on their own experiences. Francisco in particular gave me the most advice and friendly welcome. The procedure was simple and painless, i went home in an uber 10 minutes afterwards, got home, put some eyedrops in, took a 3hr nap, and woke up feeling confident that i would heal well and quickly. I went to work the next day, and did an 8hr shift in sunglasses. It’s still hard to get used to the idea of not having to wear contacts or put them on just to wear my non-prescription sunglasses. The cost was what i expected, and the payment process was simple. I’m so glad i went here, and now at 21 years old am assured i’ll never have to worry about my eyesight again. Thank you!!

My experience at the LASIK Vision Institute has been a fantastic experience. From the minute I walked it, not only was I greeted by friendly staff but was informed and taken care of every step of the way by the team at LVI. Their service level has been outstanding, special honorable mentions for their expertise and medical attention to Dr.Patel, Dr. Beyer, Dana, Lily and Francis. I couldn't imagine going through this entire procedure without their support and encouragement. I would also like to mention that the LASIK procedure is at the most about five minutes and for me my nerves got the worse in me. It may help to bring in your lucky charm but either way, I eventually calmed down and everything else went by smoothly as the surgeons and staff successfully completed the procedure. I would say, if I can do it, you most certainly can. Besides the sense of pride over your new vision and accomplishment you feel afterwards is totally worth it. The office follows all protocols for covid-19 so I had no concerns for rescheduling or delaying the procedure for a "safer" time. Payment options are affordable, flexible and super reasonable and worth all my dimes and nickels. I had my surgery on June 10 and the very next day, when my eyes where examined for my post op, my vision was at 20/20!!!!!!!!! Take that Summer 2020!!! It has been a life-altering experience and I couldn't be more happier with my choice at LVI!! LVI you totally rock!!!

By far one of the best decisions I made in 2019 was getting LASIK!! You don't realize what a hindrance it is to your daily routine until you don't have to deal with it anymore. I used to be a consistent glasses wearer. Literally from the moment I wake up to right before I went to sleep I relied heavily on my glasses because without them my vision is so bad. The actual procedure was very short and within a month I started to notice perfect vision. Everyone is different so your eyes may take less or more time but there's a big difference! The doctor found a tear in my retina which I would've had no idea about so I was able to get it repaired at an outside specialist that the office was kind enough to refer me to. Then they redid my scans for my consult again for free and I was all set for my Lasik surgery. It went well and was very fast. The team took great care of me. And I must thank Francisco for introducing me to Capsule pharmacy, he helped me get my eye drop medication delivered to my door. Overall I had an amazing experience at this location. It's been great. They were friendly and helpful and convenient. Especially convenient, I was able to do my surgery on a Saturday morning! Also, the price I was told at my consultation, $3000, stayed exactly the same the whole time. Everything was included in that price, the surgery, the eye plug things they recommended, the follow up care and the 10 year warranty. The only extra costs so far have been the co-pay at CVS for my medicated eye drops and $20 worth of over the counter drops. And my uber home. It's now Sunday morning and I feel and see great!

Would definitely recommend this place to anyone thinking of getting Lasik. I walked in initially just for a consult, but learned it also happened to be surgery day and ended up getting the procedure done the same day. I had astigmatism in both eyes, and pretty severe myopia in my right eye. After the surgery (which was less than 10 min), I went home and took a 4 hour nap (which the doc recommended). Woke up to immediately clearer vision. I had dry eyes the 1st week post-surgery, but today is day 10 and I am symptom free and glasses free :) All the staff members were incredibly kind and professional. In total, I consulted with 3 different providers before I decided to get LASIK. From the first moment I visited Lasik Vision Institute in Brooklyn, I felt taken care of in the most professional way. As most of clinics, LVI offer free consultation and evaluation for surgery eligibility. Just in about an hour you will run thru multiple tests and get results and a quote on a treatment. I got a perfect timing during summer deal, this is something to look up before you make a final decision. But regardless of the deal, I should say that pricing is reasonable comparing to other Brooklyn/Manhattan locations. Extra thanks to Dr. Patel, who jump on call with me to address every concern and question I had and being so detailed in explaining procedure and post surgery recovery time. There's a lot of hype and precaution leading up to LASIK, but once it's done you won't believe how simple it is, and how quickly you'll heal. I’m 21 years old and have been wearing glasses my whole life until yesterday . I did my laser eye surgery 7/10/2020 and today I am 1 day post op and can see better then I ever did in 21 years. The surgery is pain free you might just have discomfort the first day of the healing process but you will definitely be able to see by the end of that night or the next morning. Finally decided to get Lasik after years of researching. Came to LVI and the staff is the best! Super friendly, and helpful. Cannot think of nicer people to be here for you during a surgery! The surgery went smoothly. The doctors, technicians, surgeons, everyone was super friendly and reassuring. Dr Vyas, the optometrist is extremely friendly, and very detailed and meticulous in his explanation of what to expect, and also responded to an email i sent to him within 10 minutes! The only issue i had was on surgery day — i was scheduled for surgery at 11:30am (which i took off work early and rushed from work to get to) and i waited until around 3:30pm to go in for the procedure, even though the suggested timeframe for the surgery was only 2 hours. I left the LVI building close to 4:30pm.

Lily is the the first face you will meet when you walk in, and you can just feel her huge smile and positive energy even though her face is covered at all times with a mask. I had my LASIK done here this week, and I could not have asked for a better experience. I’ve had glasses since I was 8 years old and walked in with a prescription of almost -10 diopters in both eyes. I’ve been wanting LASIK for a few years now (wanting to be 20/20 by 2020) and knew it would be life-changing. I found out that I was a candidate at a different laser vision center in Manhattan, but I left with the feeling that I was being sold to and that office cared more about churn than customer happiness. From the beginning, the entire staff at LVI was friendly and attentive, and I knew that I was going to be way more comfortable getting it done there. A few scans and a 5 minute procedure later I was able to walk out of the room with clear (although a little hazy, to be expected!) vision. The next day I came in seeing a better-than-perfect 20/15. AMAZING!! so glad I decided to get LASIK + at this location. The price was affordable (and better than I thought it would be!). Plus my health insurance helped cover a bit of it, and they have a number of different payment plans including ones with 0% interest (I picked one of those). My experience was absolutely wonderful! Everyone there is beyond amazing. Lily, Francisco, and Dr. Vyas have made every visit extremely pleasant. Then, on surgery day I honestly started freaking out. The procedure itself it super weird and intimidating (not painful though!), so I almost bailed. But, Dr. Fox did the best job of calming me down and then worked quickly, while Andrea held my hand the entire time. I seriously don't think I could have done it without them! Andrea is a godsend. She even took this adorable (but cheesy haha!) photo of me post surgery. I am so thankful for this LASIK team here in Brooklyn!

I had an amazing experience at lasik vision institute. Like everyone you are nervous whenever you are going to do something new, and we have all heard scary stories about eye surgeries. But I was tired of my dry contacts spending money every 6 months for refills and the expensive glasses. But most of all waking up feeling blind until I put on my glasses/contacts. Where do I start, the staff is amazing so friendly and kind. The faculty is clean, you never have to wait long. The cost of the surgery was affordable and I got lucky, one of the staff gave me her discount because it was at the end of the year, shout out to " OZZY ". The doctors are amazing, they show you that your safety comes first, they check and recheck you to make sure you qualify for the procedure, I had the PRK. I am glad that I waited one week after my surgery to write this review. I wanted to test out the new 20/15 vision that I received from my surgery. So about two years ago, I had my first Lasik consultation at another provider in the NYC area and a long story short, they told me: "your cornea is too thin and you are not eligible for Lasik, but we can do PRK (which is also great, I have family that has done this procedure), but my only concerns was the recovery time, which is a bit longer than Lasik (right after surgery and 4-6 hours after a nap). With my new job, I kept putting it off and eventually never did it. One day, I found myself inquiring from my insurance provider about possible options that they recommend, and The Lasik Vision Institute (LVI), was the number 1 choice in my books. Reasons being: 1. Affordability, compared to others (yes it's your eye sight, but trust me when I tell you - best experience), 2. Welcoming staff, doctors (Dr. Patel), and surgeon (Dr. Aleksandrovich) from the time you are waiting to get screened (COVID times and all), to your post-operation visit. 3. Exceptionally clean and frequently sanitized office and rooms. Now on to the good stuff -November 14, 2020 was my initial free consultation - all questions and concerns were answered with confidence, which helped me in scheduling surgery for the next available date, which happened to be two weeks later, November 28. Upon my arrival, I looked over some documents that required my signature and then we moved forward to adding numbing drops into my eyes. Mind you, between the paperwork and eye drops, that time was estimated to about 45 minutes. The surgery, on the other hand, lasted maybe 4-5 minutes per eye. I walked into the OR around 11:20AM and then remembered getting in the car around 11:40AM. It still blows my mind to this day. Overall, I wanted to write about my entire experience because it is ours EYES afterall, our most relied upon body part and on top of researched, I heavily relied upon the reviews for this institution because I was skeptical about getting the surgery. I mean I did put it off for a little over two years. I am very thankful for everyone at LVI, and will continue to recommend your services. Thank you again!

PRICE: Pricing was good and staff makes it work for you. They offer credit care. FREE EVALUATION: Very pleasant and accurate. Based on your results they explain and offer best type of surgery. You do have to have a lot of time for this: half a day. SURGERY: Kinda creepy because somebody touches your eye but there's no pain and is extremely fast! RECOVERY: Took me a couple hours. Best to do it late afternoon so you can sleep in while recovering. There's a lot of after care but is not difficult. STAFF: Everybody us extremely nice, knowledgeable and accesible. They even have a 24/7 line for emergencies and they even know who you are when calling. TIME: This is the only reason why I didn't give them 5 stars. Going to check ups takes usually 2-3 hours long, depending on how many doctors are working that day. Also, if you need a walk in or unexpected check up, it can only be during office hours (needed to always ask permission from work) or Saturdays (surgery day) when you might wait even up to 4 hours! This SHOULD really improve so service could be 100% excellent! Apart from that, this is an AMAZING place to do your surgery and I will highly recommended it!

I had my surgery done at around 4:20pm on a Friday afternoon, and by 5:00am Saturday morning, I was 95% back to normal. The surgery itself lasted maybe 5 minutes or less, I was in the facility from 4:00 to about 4:30. My recovery was a on the mid to higher end of uncomfortable on Friday evening, Where I couldn’t open my eyes for about 6 hours. But it subsided when I fell asleep and woke back up. It mostly felt as if I got shampoo in my eyes. It is now Sunday and I can say I’m feeling 99% better. The 1% is just a tiny bit of dryness which is considered normal, and the eye drops help a lot with the dryness. The best part of my experience was how caring and attentive the staff is. My wife did her surgery two years ago and the staff still remembers her and asks about her every time I went in. They add that personal touch that money just can’t buy. I felt really comfortable with them, and they also gave me many opportunities to ask as many questions as I had. I would highly recommend going with this company for your lasik surgery mostly because they make you feel like family and they take very good care of you. I did my surgery during the covid pandemic and they took all the necessary precautions for everyone’s safety which we can all appreciate. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Excellent experience by an awesome staff. One week after Lasik and I have 20/10 vision. Went in for a consultation, which lasted 2-3 hours as they perform a battery of eye tests to determine your eligibility and explain both the surgical and financial options available. Dr. Nghe and her staff were all extremely helpful and informative. A week later I was under the laser, which took less than 15 minutes for both eyes. It definitely felt strange but was not painful. Followed their post-surgical protocol to the letter and the recovery was quite smooth -- nowhere near as painful as I thought it would be. Came back the next day for follow-up and tested at 20/20. They said it would likely improve as my eyes continued to recover, which proved correct when I went in for a one-week follow-up and tested at 20/10. Eagle-eye vision, freedom from contact lenses, and a lifetime warranty if I ever need to repeat the process in the future for less than $3000. Best money I've spent thus far.

As soon as you walk in to this facility everyone makes you feel like family! At my consultation everything was throughly explained to me from the steps of the procedure to payment options. Yesterday 1/25/2020 I had my procedure done and I was very nervous as anyone would be for surgery. Dr. Fox was amazing! He greeted me well and gave me another run down of the 15 min procedure. He talked to me during the surgery as well letting me know what he was doing as he was doing it and assuring me that everything was going well. I had 3.75 of myopia on both eyes with 1 point of astigmatism on one eye. I had a PRK procedure with contoura done here and it has been a smooth process thanks to an amazing staff. I was worried that my surgeon rushed the surgery since he put on one of the eyelid clamps too deeply into my eye socket and hurt for a bit. But Dr Beyer is a master at his craft and I'm supposedly seeing 20/15 about 5 weeks post op. My main man, Franciso Salas, was very insightful and provided me with a lot of knowledge which made my consultations and post op visits informative. I always walked out learning something new. Everyone else, Darlene, Lily, Dr. Patel were very accommodating when I had a breakdown immediately after surgery. I was too squeamish and saw the whole procedure off the glass reflection from the laser machine and was passing out on the floor. The facility is immaculate and well kept and they even offered bottles of water!. The only bad thing is that this business hires the surgeons as independent contractors so they're only there on the day of surgery. I only wished that I was able to "meet" my surgeon more often.

The pre exams I felt were thorough. My experience was good. My vision was a bit blurry up to the next day so it was a bit scary but only at the first 34 hours It did progressively better and even crisp clearer. Obviously, I had a poor vision before the surgery and I was wearing glasses for the prior 18 yrs. Now, half a year later, after the surgery, I see 20/20 (actually one eye is a little better if you can imagine that!). The actual procedure took about 10 minutes at the most. The surgery did not hurt, though I emotionally felt uneasy about of the laser. Dr Jackson was amazing and quick with the procedure and would verbally walk me through the whole process as he was doing it. In additional, the staff is very friendly, but professional. I was a worried wreck but they made me feel very comfortable. Now, half a year later, I still have a habit of adjusting my "non-existing" glasses, but I forgot what it is to wake up with the blurry vision!

I had a really amazing experience here. From the beginning, the staff was so pleasant and welcoming. My consultation was thorough and I felt very well taken care of. I had a little bit of dry eye that day, so they had me come in again a few days prior to surgery just to make sure everything would be ok before the surgery. I appreciate a team that takes the time to give quality care and follow up. The day of the surgery was pretty straight forward. I was able to get all my questions answered clearly and felt really good going in. You don't get much time with the surgeon (I had Dr. Craig Beyer), but I felt so prepared by the staff that I didn't have many questions for him. He went over the actual operation and made me feel super comfortable. The procedure itself is uncomfortable (cuz, duh, surgery), but not unbearable and it's over so fast. They talk you through everything and make sure you know what's happening at all times. I just had my follow up appointment and they were really positive about my results. My eyes weren't terrible before, -2.25 in each eye. But less than 24hrs after surgery I was seeing 20/20 clearly and could *almost* read 20/15 - and they said it's only going to get better. I want to address the wait time issue that some people seem to be really upset by in these reviews. Yes, the consultation takes a while, a few hours in my case. But they were so thorough with me, I have to assume they do the same with every patient (and not everyone's needs are the same). These are my eyes, my livelihood- I'd much rather wait for good care than be rushed through a revolving door. As for the day if the surgery, I was told to expect 2-3 hours, and that's about what it was. I did wait 2 hours until I got called back to get started. But, hey, it's EYE SURGERY. You want them to rush that? On anyone? I appreciate the time it takes to do a proper job. The follow ups were pretty quick and easy. Big thanks to the whole staff, especially Evan, Andrea, and Dr. V. I can see!!

The staff is very courteous and friendly. And encouraging. The procedure was fast, a few minutes long. There was mild discomfort with the suction but the rest of the procedure is painless. Post operation, redness of eyes and some pain the first day. I am now in my second day of recovery and the redness has gone away, and the pain is mild at worst. My vision is approaching 20/20 . However, due to my age, I cannot at this time read fine print. No worries, I was notified in advance that I would most likely need reading glasses which is AOK with me. It's like wearing contacts without the contacts. I can't wait to see my life change.

I had a wonderful experience from the front desk to the surgeon. I was recommended by my family members and I will say it was the best recommendation ever. You also get a discount for being recommended. All of the staff are professional and very personable. Soon as you enter the facility you’re either greeted by Olivia, Lily or Evan and they make you feel welcome and relaxed. My pre-op Doctor was Dr. Vyas, he answered my questions and took the time to explained all of the pre-op test. Lily is a sweetheart, she mainly helped me with the process and the financial aspect of the surgery and was encouraging, she’s very upbeat. Andrea who’s part of the surgery team is a gem, she’s kind and always offered me kinds words when I was worried. She was very positive and encouraging during pre-op and post-op. Dr. Fox has to be one of the nicest doctors out there. He listened to my concerns and didn’t dismiss them. My post-op appointment was done by Dr. Ancona the next day and he made me feel proud of my eyes. Room for improvement would be tighter logistics for the consultation and pre/post surgery wait times, so bring a book or magazines. Though the 9 pages of definitions and possible complications made me a bit anxious as i completed the paperwork (immediately prior to my surgery), my fears were quelled when I entered the operating room and saw Dana and Francisco. Amazing place , excellent service and very very helpful , got my eyes done 4 weeks ago and should have done it years ago .. the staff where so so helpful and amazing . The consultation took about 2 hours as they tested my eyes and explained the procedure to me , on the day of the surgery I arrived at 10am and walked out at 11am and was able to see without glasses , went home and took a nap and was walking down in the park with family at 4pm that day . No pains or vision issues , I had been wearing glasses for over 30 years and now everyday is like a new day , not having to reach for glasses when I wake up .. I have worn glasses for 20+ years and I finally had the opportunity to get Lasik. I was matched with the Lasik Vision Institute as a referral from my insurance and it couldn't have been better. I'm not a very daring person and definitely had some doubts about the surgery overall. Upon my first appointment, which was my consultation, I was in the office for a few hours receiving the most thorough exam of my life - my own eye doctor could take a few notes on this. I went back a week later for dilation, which I could have done at my first appointment, but I was unsure of my surgery date. And the following week I had my surgery. While everything was a smashing success, the one thing I must note is how kind every single person was: the receptionist, Lily and Andrea the scheduling managers, the techs Ashley and Esmelda (totally butchering the spelling), Dr. Nay, and my surgeon, Dr. Redakis. Every single step was totally outlined, even when I was on the operating bed. They counted down the number of seconds for each laser and described every process and let me know everything was going so smooth from start to finish. I was home in a few hours and able to see clearly that same evening. Not only is this a life-changing procedure, but I am truly grateful that I had such a knowledgeable and experienced staff to hold my hand the entire time. Thank you so much, LVI! Where do I start I’m a mother of two toddlers age three and one and I’m currently going through the transition of what do they call it snapping back I decided to lose the glasses first step I saw a commercial for the LASIK Vision Institute and set up an appointment with them. I came to see them to get a second opinion for LASIK eye surgery. I came in the first day I was feeling down and second guessing if I should get the surgery done or not. From the time I call to schedule the consultation the staff was professional and accommodating. I was not a candidate for Lasik but I was able to get PRK. The staff made sure I understood the procedure and all it entailed. They called me every other day to see if I had questions before the procedure. They even reminded me to pick up me medication in advance so that I have it available the day of the procedure. The day of the procedure I spent about a total of two hours there but the procedure itself took about 10-15 minutes. I would recommend anyone to go here. The consultation was free so you have nothing to lose if your thinking of getting eye correction surgery.

The day of the procedure went smoothly. I arrived at 10:30 and was out by 12. Wow, just wow! This place is the real deal. The initial consultation was a 2 hour exam!! 2 hours!! Nothing takes 2 hours, so you know they thoroughly exam your eyes before they proceed. Hopefully final update Feb 2021: I think my vision is all resolved. It's a passable 20/20 I feel but not like crystal clear. I'm satisfied as long as this is maintained. For any of you considering lasik, do not do it if you are very active into contact sports. You have to be careful of any pressure on your eyelids for the rest of your life. Also, lasik can not prevent age related vision regressions. I'm hoping I get some more mileage out of this but I think I'll be lucky if I get 10-15 years as I'll be in my 40s then. My husband got his in his 20s and he's only now requiring glasses. I heard prk is better though you have to be really really really good about post op care. 4th update Jan 2021: I feel like my astigmatism has resolved, crossing fingers. They took off the bandage contact on my follow up visit, which was like 3 days after. I'm still doing my medicated drops and have a follow up end of January. 3rd update Jan 2021, immediately post op: I'm recovering. I had to see Dr Beyer work on my eye from the reflection in the equipment as I had to stare steadily overhead. He may be pretty brusque but he has super steady hands and very fine motor skills. It's on part with trying to inject sperm into an embryo (icsi). Or think of trying to peel a grape with a needle. The sheer steadiness required is insane. I felt some slight stinging at first when he started lifting my flap. The anesthestic drops quickly went into effect though. The flap lifting was the longest part of the procedure and the laser only took 5 seconds this time. He doesn't interact with patients much but his staff makes up for it in spades. They are always very solicitous and friendly. Dr. Patel that handles all the follow up examinations has an excellent bedside manner. I'm hopeful my slight astigmatism in my dominant right eye will be corrected. Will provide another update. 2nd update Dec 2020: I'm scheduled for "enhancement" surgery in January so I'll give another update afterwards. Edit: update Dec 2020 So one of my eyes regressed and has some slight astigmatism. It was like that one day later but they waited till I did my entire month of follow up to confirm. They kept telling me before that it was just excessive dryness. I understand because your vision isn't so stable after surgery so they don't want to be too preemptive about it. They stated that they forwarded my file for review by Dr. Beyer with a recommendation to surgically correct it. I was initially told that I would get an update about two weeks later. I know because I asked if I should get glasses in the meantime and they stated no as it would be too quick. I waited 3 weeks with no response before reaching out to them. I was told to wait as Dr Beyer is based out of state. This time, no time frame given. I'm not really sure what's going on with my case now. My surgery was in September 2020 btw. Will update again. ______________ Dr Beyer was very quick and efficient. He apparently is shared by other locations. He comes from Colorado and apparently was training in Asia back before LASIK was FDA approved. So he has a lot of years experience. He was very good. The front desk and staff were great and enthusiastic. Lily, Francisco and everyone were great. My vision before LASIK was high astigmatism (-2.5) and -2.25/-3.25 in my eyes. Everything was always very blurry unless it was very, very close to me. I could tell the difference in vision immediately after surgery as nothing was blurry. I was very anxious during surgery but it was honestly pretty quick. I liked that there are a lot of post op follow ups as it feels like they are in it for the long term happiness of their patients. I'm also very surprised by the consistent pep and zeal that the staff maintain. The practice seems like a well oiled machine. It was obvious from the very start with the 2hr consultation. The day of surgery was only an hour total. I will post another update when I'm more healed.

I came for a consultation in November 2018, I did my surgery in January 2019 and I’m at 95% recovery from PRK surgery. Staff was amazing!!!! Ozzie was my on call girl and she is so amazing from day 1 of my consultation we had a connection. She helped calm my nerves durning all stages of my recovery especially after my procedure when she answered all 99 questions I had about my recovery. Dr.Rozakis did my procedure and made me feel very confident in what I was about to do. He let me know his medical history and also talked me threw the procedure by letting me know what he was doing step by step which I appreciated. Dr.Vyaz was amazing and very detailed with my recovery checkups and reassured me that I will have perfect eye sight by the end of my recovery. I loved that he remembered details about me which shows he cares about his patients. Francisco always greeted me and got me in and out of the office in 30 minutes which I greatly appreciated every time I was rushing. He has a very welcoming personality which was so helpful day of surgery because I was sooo nervous. He walked me threw the entire procedure before and also accompanied me durning the surgery which made me feel good. I love how they always offered to keep a eye on my daughter while I did my post surgery exams which I greatly appreciate. The team at this LVI location couldn't be better. Everybody was so patient with me, answered every question I had (even when I asked the same thing multiple times to different people) and handled my panic attacks and anxiety with empathy and transparency. I didn't feel any pressure to go through with the procedure. When we did, I got to choose the music in the OR and the surgical team and I had a blast dancing and being silly before the procedure. I had a hand to hold the whole time. It was amazing; the whole process took 10 minutes and the worst of it was the anxiety leading up to the procedure. I felt no pain. Everyone is so so sweet and helpful. The procedure wasn’t painful at all, just uncomfortable. It was especially rough for me because I’m very squeamish and can barely put eyedrops in myself, but still I made it through! Recovery took about a week in my case and now my eyesight is great! Really glad I did it. I just wish I’d taken a Valium or something beforehand to calm my nerves and minimize my squinting and flinching throughout the procedure.

I had an awesome experience with LASIK institute! The people are great here. I was able to see right after the surgery! And I would highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to get rid of contacts and glasses.

I highly recommend the LASIK Vision Institute. I had bought a Groupon for LASIK in both eyes but because my prescription wasn’t sufficiently stable for over two months (having been on ortho-k for years), I had to wait for surgery. My Groupon expired as a result but they honored the price. On top of that, the staff are all SUPER friendly and warm and make you feel right at home! They are also very professional, keep proper documentation, and don’t try to coerce or hoodwink you into paying for extra services that you don’t need/want. I never thought going to a doctor could be a pleasant experience, but it is!

Wow what an easy and smooth process! From the consultation to the actual procedure the staff at the Lasik Vision Institute really made getting Lasik such an exciting experience for me. The consultation was so informative and helped me feel much more confident about my decision in getting the bladeless lasik procedure. Dana, Lily, and Dr. Patel prepared me so well for the big day and answered any questions I had. Dr. A was great and even called me a few days before the procedure to introduce himself and make sure all of my questions were answered. I can now see 20/12 (which is better than 20/20) and I am still in shock! If you’re thinking of getting Lasik...do it now! And make sure you go to the Lasik Vision Institute !

I’m not sure why I waited so long to get my lasik done, I’ve been in glasses and contacts ever since grade school and now I’m seeing 20/20 plus! My vision over the limit I read all the way to 15 on the screen and the doctor said that it was perfect and the way I feel is great. I really appreciate you and if I was ever to pick a place to do it I would do it here. Also my dad is coming to do and my brother and my sister and soon when my brother is 21 he will do it this is the best place to do it. Now I just did it and am the dad my daughter just did it like 2weeks ago and now I did it but I did Monovision and that was only one of them everything was great doctors are kind and they took great care of me.

Every single person at the 16 court street office is amazing Francisco and Lilly, Drs Brayer and Patel were amazing. They made me feel so welcome at the consultation and reassured me during the procedure. They are all absolutely so caring and genuine. I recommend this place 1,000%. Initially, I was so afraid to have Lasik done because I'm terrified of anything coming near my eyes. However, the entire procedure was nothing of what I pictured. Luckily. I was able to have same say surgery after my consultation. This option was the best for me and my crazy mommy schedule. From start to finish, the staff were so friendly and attentive to my every needs. They allowed my husband to be with my every step of the way which was a huge plus for me since I was so scared. The eye exam was very very thorough and in depth. They took so many pictures and measurements which I've never seen before. I left for a couple of hours aftwr dilation for surgery and came back to the same awesome friendliness. I never felt that they were trying to sell me on any of the products. They wanted what was best for me. The procedure took about 5 minutes and it was done by Dr.Rozakis. He was AMAZING. Literally the best doctor I've had in my life. He was so gentle with my eyes and worked diligently. One thing that I loved about him is that he actually took the time to calm me down and attend to my emotional needs. I didn't feel like just another patient. I was his last patient of the day and he was still very attentive and friendly. This is not something I see often and working as a RN for over 10 years, these are the type of doctors we need. Awesome work! I left with my shades and woke up the next morning able to see for the first time in over 20 years. My follow up appointment went very well. Dr.Lee was super nice and waited to see me which was perfect. My vision was about -5 before the surgery and now its 20/20. The change is phenomenal. No more contact lense changes and eyeglasses. Thanks so much!! Its been a life changer.

My visit to the Brooklyn location, over exceeded my expectations!! I was thoroughly impressed with the knowledge they provided me with as a first time customer. Every staff member I encountered was knowledgeable and competent in their assigned stations, collectively helping me understand all components of Lasik that applied to me. In addition, the overall work environment was not only clean but hospitable. Guests were able to enjoy light refreshments and small pastries while waiting to be seen. All staff went out of their way to not only acknowledge clients but also be attentive to them while we completed paperwork. Happily, I am approved for Lasik surgery but I'll be postponing my surgery, just to shop around for other rates and deals........ However, my impression is that the Brooklyn center is the BEST location. Thank you Brooklyn Lasik team!!!!! (Especially Lilly and Fransico)

If you’re a bit confused about whether or not you want to get LASIK, coming here to speak to the professionals at this office is super helpful. This location is the type of office you create relationships in. During these tough times of covid, they were able to make me feel safe but more than that made me feel like family. They are all so welcoming, friendly, empathetic and of course professional! As someone who does not go to medical offices often I felt out of place but they made me feel as if I was at home. The process was quick and they cheered for me all along the way which felt amazing since covid restricted having guests inside with me. From top to bottom they are all amazing people but I would love to give a special shout out to Dana (I hope I spelled it right) who was literally rooting for me all throughout the surgery. It was reminiscent of when I was a kid and my mom used to hold my hand as the doctor did what he had to. Her support made the surgery less nerve wrecking and before I knew it, it was over. LASIK Institute is a legitimate service. I was well informed during my consultation about my options, and although ultimately I choose not to go forward with the service, I was glad to have learned more about the product from true professionals. The consultation takes 2 hours and an additional hour for more testing to see if you're a candidate for the procedure.
