Dr. Samer Khosrof is brilliant. I had been using contact lenses for 10 years and was always hesitant about lasik surgery. I had a great impression of this office/staff when I went in for consultation. The staff is caring and the set-up for lasik surgery is truly amazing. I was impressed with all of their lasik testing prior to the actual procedure. The doctor makes sure that you are well-informed of all instructions. Free at last, free at last! No more eye glasses, no more contact lenses. Firstly, I give thanks to Allah Almighty and after Dr. Samer Khosrof along with his amazing team, especially Azizah! I had a really great experience at this office. Everyone at the office was super nice and friendly and totally understands the nerves you feel before surgery. I give their hospitality and professionalism an A+. They kept it simple and told me everything I needed to know and addressed every single concern I could’ve possibly had. Went in on Monday evening to get the procedure done and a simple follow up the next day. I had a prescription of -4.00 and Dr. Khosrof got both eyes done in minutes. The procedure was painless. The healing process varies by the person - my vision is getting better and I can’t wait for the full results in the coming days! My only regret is, I wish I could have does this years ago!

The doctor is super professional. The nurses and staff are so helpful. At first, i am very nervous about lasik. But after the consultation with the Dr. Khosrof, he ease all the questions. Doctor, nurse and staff will guide you along the way. Before each step, they will tell you all the details about what they are doing and what you going to feel. They stopped all your nervous, calm you down all the way to finish. The first visit is about 2-3 hours for testing and consultation. And then the next visit is 2.5 hours for final testing and lasik at the end. Quick and easy. Highly recommended.

I never write reviews , but the experience was so wonderful that I had to . I have wore contacts since age 15 and wanted to do this surgery for years . I was really afraid. I went to Dr Samer A khosrof @ I love Lasik. Let me tell you , him and his staff make you feel so comfortable and at ease. I trusted them from the beginning of the process to the end . Went to get LASIK surgery back in November and all the staff were incredibly smart and kind while walking me through the process, booking the surgery, and during the actual procedure. Did the surgery in the evening, went to sleep immediately, and when I woke up my vision was perfect (I wore contacts before and had -4.0 in both eyes). Very satisfied with my results :)

Dr. Samer Khosrof was the best doctor I can ask for. He performed my LASIK surgery as well as my two older sisters'. I felt very comfortable and safe the entire time. For a procedure that should be scary, he made the process extremely easy and my recovery was super quick. He even gives his personal number after surgery in case you have any questions. One hundred percent would recommend him and his team to anyone.

Im so glad i found i love lasik ! did my surgery saturday and it is now monday saw dr. Khosrof today he said i have 20/15 vision on my left eye and 20/20 on my right the staff is wonderful dr. I had been looking to get this procedure for quite sometime but I was always so nervous about eye surgery. But from the first time I went in for my initial consultation staff made me feel so at ease! Throughout the whole process they answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable day of procedure, after procedure I was even given chocolate to ease my nerves! Lol I now see 20/15 and couldn’t be any happier! If your thinking of getting LASIK don’t look any further! Dr. Khosrof and staff were fantastic and you won’t regret it!!

Doctor Samer is very professional and really knows what he’s doing I was hesitating at the beginning but right after my first visit I started to feel more comfortable. Everyone in the clinic knows what they doing especially the nurse who works directly with him she prepare the patient for the doctor by doing all the necessary tests so the doctor can decide whether or not the patient is eligible for the surgery or not. The surgery room is very clean and everything is well organised. What I like more is the good connection between the doctor and the nurse. Overall I had a great experience and I was able to see 20/20 just after a few hour. Samer gave me his direct number in case of emergency and it happened for me to call him after work and pick up the phone for me and gave me the right instructions. Thank you soo much doctor Samer you changing my life by makings me take off the eyeglasses. I’m writing this review after 6 days of the surgery on my phone which was something impossible to do it just a week ago. Wish you all the best doctor Samer and your team.

My experience at I Love Lasik is great! I took the self test on the website and I received a call back the next day for an appointment. The first consultation appointment last about 2 hours. The tests were very thorough. I met with Dr Khosrof after and was told that I’m a candidate for Lasik and he explained everything in great details for me. I schedule to come back the next Thursday for the surgery. I was kind of nervous but all the staffs were extremely kind to me so that put me at ease a little. The surgery went really well. I didn’t feel any pain, the most difficult part for me was the pressure in the beginning. I went back for post-op appointment the next day after the surgery and now I have 20/20 vision. I been wearing glasses since I was a kid for over 20 years, and today I’m finally free from wearing glasses and contact lenses and this really means a lot to me!! I highly recommended Dr Khosrof to anyone who wants to have Lasik.

I was originally planning to get Lasik surgery done with another doctor who had done eye surgery on me before; I figured since my previous eye surgery with them went well, I could trust that doctor. However, I wasn't really happy with my consultation with the other surgeon and didn't feel comfortable overall, so I did some research to find another place and found Dr. Khosrof. I really liked his staff! They were really kind and answered any random questions I had. And I really liked Dr. Khosrof because he was honest with me from the get-go. He caught some eye issues I didn't even know I had and was honest when he said I might not get 20/20 vision because of those issues. I had a high prescription (-6.25), an astigmatism and slight lazy eye, so I would probably get 20/25 vision but my other eye issues would be fixed. I felt comfortable with Dr. Khosrof and felt like I could trust him with my eyes, so I decided to get the surgery. Everything went well and I felt no pain, except I did dislodge the flap in my right eye. Luckily it was caught quickly and Dr. Khosrof and his team was able to fix it. And now, it's been a week since the surgery and I surprisingly have 20/20 vision! Dr. Khosrof and his team is awesome and I can't express my gratitude enough for the amazing job they did!

I finally have a moment to tell everyone how life changing Dr. Samer and his team really are! I started seeing Dr. Samer in March 2021 to see if I was a candidate for vision correction surgery. I had been wearing glasses since I was a small child and contact lenses weren't a viable option for me. When I met with the team, their staff was very upfront, welcoming and professional. I was aware of all test charges and options beforehand. When I met with Dr. Samer, he wasn't pushing surgery at all! He was very concerned about my eye health and gave me all my options. That's when I knew that he is truly a compassionate, professional doctor and that he and his team were the people I wanted to entrust my eyes to. My eyes are my biggest asset and any damage to my eyes could prevent me from working because I read a computer screen all day. We worked together with a treatment plan to get my eyes healthy enough to have vision correction surgery be a viable option. I had my surgery in October. It was painless and kind of cool. I was back to work by the next week. It's life changing. I no longer pay 1k for glasses to just see because of the cost of my lenses alone. I still have periodic follow up appointments because of my chronic dry eye but I have 20/20 vision which I don't think I've ever had. I hug this man every time I see him. I urge anyone considering vision correction surgery or any other eye issues to see Dr. Samer. He's genuinely the best there is!

I can't recommend this place enough! I decided to get LASIK a few weeks ago and began my research on Yelp and Google. I was impressed by all the positive reviews on here and so I decided to schedule myself a consultation. I left my number via the website and got a call back in a few hours. I was able to get an appointment on that Saturday, which was great because most places I had checked out before were much less flexible. The initial consultation included about 45 min of tests (including dilation). The staff was amazing - so kind and so helpful for someone deciding on a life-changing operation. I also got to meet Dr. Khosrof for the first time, who was friendly and answered all of my questions. After hearing my options, I decided to go with the Dr's recommendation for my eyes, which was custom LASIK. I scheduled to come back the next Saturday to complete my remaining tests and to do the surgery on the same day. You can also opt to come in one extra time in between the first consultation and the surgery to complete the remaining tests. Surgery day was easy peasy. My tests took maybe another 45 min and the surgery itself was about 15, most of which was just getting me ready for the surgery. I didn't feel any pain. It's mostly just pressure. I went home that afternoon and took a nap, which were the Dr's orders. By the time I woke up the next morning, I was seeing clearly. The staff provided me with a baggy for eye shields, goggles to sleep with, and sun glasses. I also got these drops that I will apply in the weeks after my surgery. I just went back for my post-op appointment after 3 days and I now have 20/15 vision! I loved my entire experience here. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get LASIK.

Dr. Samer Khosrof and his team are so caring and thorough. For my consultation for LASIK, they included so many different tests. For my second visit, they ran some more tests. On the day of my LASIK surgery, they did even more tests right before the procedure. I felt so safe. They gave me cute little stress balls to squeeze right before the surgery. I was scared, but the procedure was so quick, easy, and painless. The whole process was less than a minute. After the surgery, they went over next steps and gave me a pouch with things I would need to use during the healing process. I went home and slept right after. I didn't experience any burning at all throughout the night. I barely felt any discomfort. When I woke up, I was able to see without glasses. It was a bit blurry at first, but slowly cleared up throughout the day. They asked me to stop by the following day to make sure everything was okay. During the follow-up, they gave me more next steps and days that I should visit for future follow-ups. It's nice that the price of the surgery includes my three prior visits and a bunch of follow-ups. LASIK is pretty expensive, but they have payment plans, which made it more affordable for me. My husband had LASIK at another location years ago for the same price and said that they didn't even do most of the things that Dr. Khosrof and his team did for me. I'm so grateful to have such an amazing doctor.

I had a great experience over there. The staff members were very nice. The surgery was quick, and my vision is improved by 100% right after the surgery. The doctor took his time to meet me on Sunday even though the office is closed on Sunday. I plan on ask my friends to go there if they ever want to get their visions fixed.

My experience at their office was spectacular. I got my LASIK done and Dr. Samer Khosrof was an amazing doctor, he walks through with you step by step. He explains everything very thoroughly that at the end of the conversation he asked if I had any questions, I really did not.

I have been wearing glasses since I was 8 years old, and now, at 45 I am FREE! I had a -3.75 prescription, so you know what that meant. Could not do Anything without my glasses!! They were the first thing I would reach for in the morning. One time, I had to call my sister to come over to my house to help me find my glasses! That's how bad it was!! I am glad I chose NY eye& retina, the staff is great, the dr is attentive and gives you options. It has been 3 months now since the procedure and I couldn't be happier. On the day of my appointment, I was nervous at first but his staff was super friendly and helpful. They were very informative and answered my questions and concerns. The procedure was very quick (it took a total of 20 seconds per eye using the laser). I was very nervous at first but the technicians are extremely welcoming and comforted me throughout my surgery. Absolutely amazing experience! Staff is very friendly and helpful. Doctor is amazing and caring. Doctor monitored my vision for about 4 months before doing lasik to make sure the timing is right and that the results I would get are the best possible. Doctor came in Sunday at 9pm to follow up on the surgery that was done the day before, checked that everything is healing well and performed a few eye exams. Lasik was a quick procedure with quick recovery time. Asked to follow up again by the end of the week to continue monitoring the healing.

I had my cross-linking procedure done my Dr. Samer last summer in July 2020. This has got to be one of the most professional doctors o have been to in my life, the man was born for this. So I saw an add on TV saying "millions of people have gotten Lasik during COVID" and was thinking to myself "why can't I be one of them?". I had always thought of it as an afterthought because I never knew anyone that had done it and the thought of someone performing surgery on my eyes was extreme. That ad however gave me comfort because surely it must be worth it if millions of people had done it. Another reason that pushed me to do it was my cousin had just did LASIK the day before at a place in Manhattan and said they were highly satisfied with the results the next day. So I called "I Love LASIK" and scheduled a free consultation on Friday evening of the same week. They were professional as they did a lot of eye tests on me as well as retests to confirm the results. Dr. Khosrof stated I would be a great candidate for custom LASIK. He seemed very knowledgeable and my gut feeling told me I could trust him so I scheduled the surgery the very next day. The next day I came in and did a bunch of eye tests again which totaled ~45mins. The surgery itself only took 15-20 mins. I was out the door in the next 5. It's been a week since the surgery and it feels great not having to wear glasses every again and being able to just wake up and go. Overall, I had a great experience and I definitely would recommend Dr. Khosrof and his staff to family and friends.

Doctor Samer and his staff are amazing, I decided to have my LASIK in this place because my fiancé had it there and it was successful and I liked how they treated him. Most of the girls working with him are really friendly. As for me, I just had my lasik 3 weeks ago. My eyesight was so bad, both of my eyes were -4 and now after my LASIK my right eye is 20/20 and my left eye is 20/15 and I am really happy for that. So far definitely seems it was a good decision.

I came here after looking to get LASIK from a place close to home. The staff are all extremely nice and polite. Doctor Khosrof himself is very professional and experienced. The consultation and following check ups all went smoothly. The only minor downside is that the office is cash-only. Cards and checks are not accepted. After surgery update: the operation went smoothly and after the rest period I can finally see without glasses! It was a little scary, but also a very quick procedure(under 5 minutes). In the end I'm glad I chose Dr. Khosrof.

Everyone at the office was so extremely welcoming and nice. I've never been to a doctors office like this in my life. The wait can be a bit long but probably for a reason (it's the best). It took longer to set me up than the actual procedure and you don’t feel a thing. Recovery was great, I was seeing great the moment I walked out of that office. They are also very accommodating and work with your schedule to help you figure out days and timings to come in for follow ups. The only down side is the testings before the procedures and the wait for it is long but they do let you know in advance so you are prepared, but it’s totally worth it to get great service and results in the end. Very convenient and everything done right in the same office so you don’t have to go far for great results.

Everything about my experience was very pleasant for something that was initially a little scary! I was very interested in Lasik and Dr. Khosrof was amazing, answered all my questions, and assured me that the procedure would go well. The assistants in the office are also all very friendly and helped calm my nerves during the procedure. Overall it took about 5 minutes per eye from the time my eye was held open until the very end. It feels a little uncomfortable and weird but there is definitely no pain. After the surgery, there is some burning for the next few hours but you are advised to take some Tylenol and go to sleep. When I woke up in the middle of the night, I was amazed at how I could see and all the burning was gone! I would definitely recommend him for anyone interested in exploring Lasik. My vision was pretty bad and I now have 20/10 vision in one eye and 20/15 in the other! It feels amazing to not have to rely on glasses or contacts anymore.

This is my second review. Initially I had gone to leading lasik after experiencing terrible dryness and irritation in my eyes around nine months ago. It seems that I had did serious damage to my eyes after almost 20 years of wearing contact lens. Dr. Khosrof worked long and hard to make sure my eyes were in perfect shape before he would even consider me for surgery. Every visit was a work in progress and finally I was approved and had my surgery two days ago. I can't stress how greatful I truly am. First off let me say that the staff is always kind and courteous each and everyone of them. Though the office is always busy they always remained professional and worked at a great speed. Dr. Khosrof is one of a kind. He explains everything step by step, always has a smile and is an expert in his field. He allows you the opportunity for questions which is rare these days in the medical field as often times you feel rushed however this is never the case, you never ever feel rushed out. As for the surgery he explained everything from pre/post procedure as well as exactly what he would do next during the procedure. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to have the surgery done. I only have positive things to say! Thank you to all of the staff and all that you do.

My father's right eye was worsening significantly fast due to his diabetes. We came in for an appt (as always, we trust him as our doctor), and on that day Dr. Samer decided that if my dad wanted to do his cataract surgery when he came back from Philippines, that he was welcome to get it done right away. My dad decided he wanted to get it done and when he came back he did the surgery. He only had to wear his eye patch overnight and when we saw Dr. Samer the next day (went in right away), my dad's vision went from 20/200 to 20/50. Amazing! Then we were told to come back 3 days later and now his vision is 20/20!! I have been wearing glasses and contact lenses for about 29 years. Contact lenses would always dry up on me, and become difficult to wear the whole day, and glasses had their downside also, if i went from a cold area to warm area they would fog up , if i jogged with them or worked out at the gym, i would have to take them off. And then my eyes got worse i couldn't drive at night, it got to the point I would drive with the cabin lights on to compensate for the lights coming from on coming cars. I was recommended by my uncle and my cousin who both had great results with Dr. Samer. They both had their vision corrected. Scared at first, I forced myself to go, I mean these are my eyes we're talking about, not like their replaceable. From the moment I went inside, I knew these people are serious. Very friendly and professional staff, a very clean environment. Test after test before I saw Dr. Samer. The staff are very patient and understanding, none of that "hmmph, like this like that arrgggh". Finally I saw Dr. Samer, told me I was a candidate for lasik. He explained the procedure step by step, showed me where it takes place and what is expected . He explained the best solution tailored to my needs, and then before the lasik, i saw him 2x, they run tests to make sure everything is the same. I will recommend Dr. samer to all my family and friends. If you have eye problems or just tired of wearing glasses, one visit is all you need to see Dr. samer is the Doctor you need. I flew from SAN Diego, CA for the first to NY just to use his expertise to correct my vision for near and distant, after one ophthalmologist in SD ruined my vision. I visited Kaiser ophthalmologist and another Doctor in CA..but I wasn't satisfied until, I had my two operations with the Leading Lasik Center one to correct the mistake for the flat on my eyes then the Lasik. I was wearing glasses since I was a little girl. When I was a teenager, I was wearing different contact lenses for few years. However, I got tired of putting them on every morning and taking them out every evening. In result, I was wasting a lot o time every day and a lot of money which I could spend on something else than contact lenses. One day, I decided to call Ophthalmology office at 333 86th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11209 and schedule an appointment. The receptionist was very helpful because she made me the appointment in my convenient time. When, I arrived to this office, all stuff was very polite, helpful, informative and knowledgable. Dr Samer Khosrof discussed my eyes condition with me. Then, he informed me about eye correction surgery and he provide me with few flyers about this surgery. I went back home, I read these information and next day, I even did deeper research about lasik surgery. A week later, I decided to do this surgery in Leading Lasik Center in Bay Ridge. On Saturday afternoon, I did lasik surgery which took few seconds per eye and it was pain free. On Monday, I went back to work and performed excellent all day by the computer in the office and doing some paper work. You are wonderful, Dr. Samer. Thank you.

Amazing doctor, I'm originally from Westchester county, I was referred to this doctor by a family member, and it was best decision I made. The doctor was very good at communicating with me and keeping me informed, his staff even provided me his cell phone doctor, which he replied to all my post op questions through text msg.
