Made an appointment 6 months in advance but waited 50 minutes because waiting room had about 5 or 6 patients ahead of me. Dr. Kamen had me read the eye chart with each eye, then applied eye drops to examine each eye. Total examine time was less than 10 minutes. Good to know my eyes were fine, but this visit made me feel like my eyes were a grape you squeezed in a crowded supermarket. Dr. Kamen is usually warm and friendly but this visit was decidedly less so.

I am a new patient with Dr. Kamen. I'm searching for the right words to describe my experience with him. Dr. Kamen is warm, charismatic, caring, extremely knowledgeable, and very patient. I went in to the office for some chronic issues and left with answers and solutions to all of them. One of the major reasons for my visit was severe pain in my left eye that was becoming chronic. Dr. Kamen instinctually asked me if I get migraine headaches. Which I do, but thought they had gone away. Nope! They just moved to the back of my eyes. Wow! After my exam I received vitamin information and samples to help with my other eye problems as well as suggestions regarding the molecular migraines. You will not find a better doctor than Dr. Kamen.

I cannot speak highly enough about my experience here. My girlfriend had a chalazion that was making her miserable. She had one removed before and the process was painful and uncomfortable so she was dreading it. The experience at Dr. Kamen's office was quick, easy and nearly painless. He was able to remove her chalazion in just a few minutes and she walked out smiling and relieved. It's been several weeks since and it has healed great. Big thank you to Dr. Kamen and his team!

Six years ago I developed shingles in one of my eyes without knowing what it was, so the pain was so intense that I did not sleep at all and one night, desperate for the pain, I sat down at the computer to look for any eye specialist to study My case. So I didn't find any specialist, I found Doctor David Kamen who I consider the best and I don't think there are words that describe all the positive qualities related to his profession and his person. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, polite, etc. And as I said since I met him by chance and he became my guardian angel, practicing his wisdom in me and leading me to overcome the crisis that I have survived all these years. If someone needs him for something related to his profession, the best decision will be to make an appointment and the best impression one can have from entering his office is to find the kindness of his secretaries and the cleanliness that is seen around . Don't think twice, you will be in the right hands.

Dr Kamen is a caring AND knowedgeable Ophthalmologist. He told me that my previous Ophthalmologist had :- Got the wrong brand of Cataract lens I got the wrong type of custom lenses I got the wrong eye drops AND my lenses prescription was wrong ....!!!! .........and I believe him!! The only minor downside is that he is so busy that he is often behind in his appointment times - but worth the wait!
