I got there over an hour early for my appointment. I was promptly checked in by the delightful front desk staff. As soon as the assistants came back from lunch they did not hesitate to take me back for my exams. Dr. Stewart is amazing! He’s patient and understanding and the entire staff is great and informative. I will definitely refer family and friends here for all of their eye care needs. If I could give 10 stars I would. The entire experience was just all around pleasant and great.

Dr. Montgomery gave me back the gift of seeing clearly. After a challenging year (having had a retinal detachment) in my left eye which then caused a cataract. Under his skillful, surgical hands, I was able to achieve 20/20 vision and can see so crisply. Being able to see without glasses and enjoy colors and knowing that I’ll be able to resume all my favorite activities is a huge blessing. Thanks to Dr. Montgomery and staff. I have been going to Shepherd Eye Center for over 15 years. Generally they are courteous and efficient. My last visit on May 26 unfortunately was not the case. I waited over an hour to be called and then more waiting for the dilation and then another wait to see the actual doctor. In all, my visit on this appointment was a total of 2 hours and 15 minutes. Not sure why the scheduling was so backed up on this day. This is usually a fine and competent medical facility.

I TV bewas at the Pecos-MacLeod location the other day for an eye exam and to get fitted for new frames. Everyone was so professional...the person who greeted me upon my arrival and helped me register at the kiosk, the technicians who took measurements and put drops in my eyes, Dr. Stewart and Veronica, who patiently priced out several pairs of frames and carefully measured and fitted the ones that I chose.

I normally go to their other office at Carnegie in Henderson. I wanted to see Dr. Montgomery before the end of the year but they didn't have anything open at that office so I asked for the Pecos office. I was glad I did. I was extremely impressed the way this office checked in their patients. The first person standing by the front door checking in the patient was courteous and very helpful. Kudos to the front office. The whole process went very smooth. They gave me a Five-diamond Service. Their service now is better than before the pandemic.

I was an out of town (New) patient visiting Las Vegas for the holidays and had a problem with one of my eyes. Even though it was the holiday season and their staff was already booked up, they went out of their way to find time to fit me in for an appointment. I saw Dr. Cruvant on the first visit and Dr. Stewert for a follow up on the following day. Both we exceptionally generous with their time, attention, and advise. The staff was pleasant and up-beat and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. Huge call out to "Polly" in scheduling who went out of her way to help me get the care I needed. The process of setting up an appointment was accomplished with ease. Check in for the appointment, and the process of sharing insurance information is really outstanding. A kiosk is employed to share your insurance documents . The support staff for the Doctors, have their assignments by function. Depending on the need of the patient , there are systematic tests, mostly done with specific equipment . The entire staff and the Doctors keep you informed of what is being reviewed and what you can expect to proceed with for your future treatments or vision needs. The Doctor shared very detailed information on my vision condition, his recommendations for correction., and a prognosis. You cannot leave Shepherd Eye Center without confidence and clarity for your future vision.

Shepherd Eye is, in my opinion, the best eye care facility in the Henderson / Las Vegas area. One caveat, choose your physician carefully. I use Dr. Robert B Taylor III, a professional, knowledgeable, thorough and very pleasant individual. Medical care in The Las Vegas area is "lacking." Shepherd Eye Center is a very competent and professional organization. they do a very thorough eye exam. They are also excellent if you have any eye problems that you have to correct. It's good to know they are well versed in every area of eye care. I wouldn't recommend them for their retail outlet, however. I don't like their styles and they don't have a flexible return policy like Lens Crafters has.

I believe i saw Dr. Stewart here. i was visiting from Florida seeing my grandma who was in the hospital, and needed to get my eye looked at but couldnt get in before i left Florida and otbcouldnt wait. I was miserable for a month with my eye after a contact scratched it and then i developed what seemed to be an infection. I didnt have to wait long in lobby. Dr. Stewart was a godsend, he saved my eye! I was previously on antiobiotic cream that wasntbworking. He Gave me some steroid drops with some antibiotics in it too and my eye cleared up in days, its still healing and im seeing someone here in florida that told me if dr.stewart hadnt caught the virus in my eye i could have had so much sweeling in my retina and nerve i could have lost vision or got bells palsey in that eye. Very very greatful to him for saving my eye! Thanknyou dr. Stewart!

Due to changing my health insurance plan in March 2012 I saw Dr. Judy Craythorn at the Shepard Eye Center on Pecos for my annual eye exam. The office was full of patients and some with family members yet my appointment was nearly on time. Assistants take you through all the preliminary tests before you see the doctor. I had been told by a prominent eye surgeon in 2007 that I needed cataract surgery I asked many question on what was the size, cost, what type of lens etc. etc. and was told we no longer wait till the cataract is "ripe". I choose to wait. Here we are 5 years later and Dr. Craythorn states I do NOT need surgery at this time. To me that is a GOOD physician. In my opinion the center does not overbook and all the things that need to be done takes time. My visit was no longer than another I have had in the passed 50 years. I like the fact of the paperwork they give you for your records this has never been done for me without asking. Which I always do. I am now going to see about Custom Wavefront Lasik with this center because of all the new improvements with Lasik for folks like me with astigmatism. My only compliant was the bill I got many weeks after the appointment. It was money I owned but they neglected to collect. So I paid it.
