Great bedside manners and great doctor. Definitely an expert on cataract surgery. His team was great too. He is truly lucky to have RJ and Liz in his team. They are respectful and ver professional.

Dr McMickle is amazing. He was able to do surgery and remove an implanted lens another doctor out in after cataract surgery. The implant was the wrong lens and was a permanent lens. I had it about 5 years and he was able to get it out and replace it with a better lens! I just had an issue with my eye and was worried I was having retinal detachment and he went to his office on a Sunday just to meet me. He said better to be safe then sorry. I don’t know any other doctor that would do that. Amazing!!!

My wife has been seeing Dr McMickle the last few years and had cataract surgery last Wednesday, she had an issue today (Saturday) called his office's answering service, they connected her to the doctor right away, he met us at his office within 30 minutes, come to find out she got a grain of sand under her eye lid, the doctor was so nice and accommodating, he told my wife if she was still concerned and needed to call him on Sunday she could or if she needed to come to the office on Monday it was no problem. Today was the first time I met Dr. McMickle and knowing the care he gave my wife I'm totally impressed and thankful. Thank you Dr. McMickel

I love this doctor and I’m extremely thankful for the extraordinary work he performs. I trust Dr. McMickle 100% !!! I have been a patient for more than 10 years (it’s been so long I can’t remember when I started at this office) and I’m impressed with the way the office is managed. Gina and RJ really care about people and it is evident at every visit. Leslie is professional and so pleasant!

Dr McMickle is great. The office - not so great. I've had a total of 11 appointments with this office. Not once was he on time. The time before last was 1 hour 37 minutes late. This last one was 2 hours 10 minutes late. Not very happy with this. My time is precious too.

New add on: so changed review - It is too late but the Doctor did waive fee / but the damage has been done and he will be seeing another ophthalmologist (does not need to take a chance of the same thing happening again,, plus she made it seem like she had spoken to the doctor when she did this) The billing person is not competent. She would rather the patient be DEAD to keep the appt.(not mentioning the length of waiting time) A friend of mine who has had over 40 surgical procedures & is on heavy duty pain meds and has a pain pump. Took a ton of pain meds that morning to do everything to make this doctor appointment that day but despite taking the maximum amount - since if he took anymore of the Dilaudid (what Danny Gans died from) /Fentanyl he would be DEAD. SHE sent a letter saying he canceled an hour before (how dare she!!) since he was trying his Best to be able to make it there since he also had another physician appt in the same building right after. Which she was told BUT just compared him to all his other patients!!! I DOUBT all his other patients had his extreme medical condition!!

This doctor is wonderful. Just the best! He gets 5 stars . The billing person gets none. The billing person makes it the patients responsibility to straighten out her mistakes.
