Linda is a resident of Discovery Village at Tampa PaIms. She is now in memory care. I am very pleased with the staff and how they treat their guests. They are extremely helpful and patient. When I go to visit they greet me by name with a smile. I feel she is receiving the best possible care.

We moved in 3 weeks ago and it was the best decision! Although I am still working, my husband has retired and needs assostance in some activities of daily living. The "Supervised Independent Living" option at Discovery Village is a perfect fit for us. Honestly, the staff is there whenever we need them but makes sure to give us our independence. I recommend it highly!

In my 10 months here at Discovery Village at Tampa Palms I have found the community to be very friendly, both staff and residents. I have been impressed with the facility since first walking into the entry lobby. An elegant atmosphere was experienced which was present throughout the building. Since living here, I have found the staff to be very attentive and competent. When considering Discovery Village, I met with Makaela Sgueglia, a delightful sales counselor. She gave me a personal, customized tour an accommodated all of my requests. Soon after moving in, a new Executive Director joined us. Angeline Hernandez is an effective leader who focuses on frequent communication with residents and staff. Concerns addressed to her are acted upon swiftly with good solutions. The Activity staff headed by Rebecca Zuniga schedules activities that provide ample events for residents to enjoy.

The facility is always clean and well-staffed. There are so many amazing employees there, doing the hard job of day-in-day-out care for the residents with love and compassion.

The staff is well trained, courteous, and does a great job. We moved Mom last week from independent living to assisted living. Makaela was very helpful in making the move so easy and stress free!!

HEROS WORK HERE. This is a great place to work. Discovery Villages at Tampa Palm has a top notch memory care on site, hospice care and stress free living is all I see. In a luxurious condo setting with laundry, medication management and competent nurses who will call your family to detail all care needed. I am a 🧳 traveling CNA and work all over the State of Florida. This is truly my #1 FAVORITE PLACE to work. I would drive 100 miles to work for this company. The staff care about the residents 100%. The have a beautiful home, safe, organized with lots of activities. The dining area is beautiful food and is prepared by an in house Chef team and boy is it delicious. The apartments are spacious and there is no bad odors like other places I have traveled from Ocala to Port Charlotte. East and West and I have so many great things to say. Trust me when I say. Your money will be spent in knowing peace of mind and loving people work here.

Discovery Village has been an excellent choice for my in-laws, who have been residents of Tampa Palms for over 25 years. Living there enables them to stay close to friends, parks, stores, doctors--while receiving the level of living assistance they need. The staff is professional and attentive and the facility is well-maintained. On our visits we've enjoyed sharing meals and meeting their friends. We feel that this move was a good one as they are thriving in the Discovery Village environment.

I have worked here for 7 months, unfortunately I will be moving on for the good. For the people giving this place negative reviews, shame on you. All the management request of you is to do your job to the fullest. Not to worry about what the other is not doing. I know the one who posted negative review and that person's coworker took many smoke breaks, which was to be only 15 minutes for 30 instead. It has been an honor to work for such a team. Caring for what is important. The residents!!

My mom and (recently deceased) stepfather moved into this facility in January 2019. Initially, there was a bit of confusion (and, therefore, frustration) involving a team member in administration who didn't seem to have it all together and could not provide answers to our basic questions. That employee has since left, and we are especially grateful that Rebecca ("Becky") Smith and her new team of seasoned professionals have stepped into place. Becky and Brad Purazzo have made a world of difference in the short time they've been here. The facility is spotless (has been from the first day I visited), the team members are friendly and accommodating, and I feel as though my mom and I may always reach out to Becky or Brad to get quick answers and resolutions for any questions. It's no wonder in this short time they've been managing the facility that the occupancy level has increased so dramatically. My mom is really enjoying the fitness classes, educational seminars and socializing with other residents. I would highly recommend this facility -- especially with Becky and Brad in leadership roles!
