Reviews of Clement Manor
Vin Stephenson
I just finished a two-week long volunteer stint at Clement Manor, and it was nothing short of amazing. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful and deeply cared for the residents. The facility was clean, the food in the Rainbow Room was delicious, and there was plenty of events and activities to do around the facility for independent living, assisted living, and Clare Suites. The center for enrichment was especially impressive, with plenty of presentations, conversations, and activities for residents and outside members to enjoy. I loved being able to spend time working with the residents, and I will be coming back to visit soon! Thank you Clement Manor staff and residents for making my time there fantastic!

I have been at Clement Manor for over eight years. I came from Bayfield, WI after my husband died. I was there to take care of him, but my kids are in Milwaukee, Chicago and Maryland. I left our beautiful house on our apple orchard on the shores of Lake Superior and moved to a very comfortable apartment here. I appreciate the privacy I have if I choose to hunker down in the evening; no one pressures me to go to the many events offered. When I was told of classes offered, I was sure I was perfectly fine with my MA in English Literature and didn’t need more classes. Then the catalog came and it was filled with classes that interested me: jazz appreciation, many history classes, surveys of our geographical area and on and on. As far as I know, only Clement Manor has an Enrichment Center with a year round feature of offerings for almost any interest.
When I first looked at Clement Manor, I was shepherded by Kim who said she had been here for more than 10 years. I thought if they could keep such a fabulous person for so long it must be a healthy place. And that is the case: staff stays for ages, sometimes moving in their positions, and their attitudes are consistently positive toward the residents. From Maintenance to the COO, I have never been disappointed in a response to any request.
Residents are also a delight. I joke that I think Kim makes sure she gives us mentally healthy people as our new neighbors!

I toured about 5 or 6 facilities in the area and Clement Manor came out on top. It was recommended by a friend whose mom was there. My mom is in assisted living. She has alzheimers and just needs minimal assistance so far. Staff is WONDERFUL very caring. They have great activity staff which my mom looks forward to all the activities. She enjoys the food...wide variety. Rooms are very spacious with great storage. Its a faith based facility but does not push any particular religion onto residents. I'm a retired RN so I was picky about where my mom went....they answered all my questions and always work WITH me on any issues that occur with my mom. Go on a tour...you will be very pleased...and it's one of the best cost wise.

Clement manor is the best place for care! Mom has lived at clement manor assisted living for 61/2 years and she is 92 years old. All the staff are wonderful and caring - always watching out for her well being. All the activities keep her active physically and mentally. Mom is thriving at Clement Manor- It Is Her Home!!

What I like about Clement Manor Independent Living is it is truly independent. If you want to socialize there are many activities and events you may attend. It is your choice! There is a monthly calendar distributed which lists daily activities. All the residents and staff are very helpful and friendly!
From a man’s perspective, I want to share that I appreciate that Clement Manor’s maintenance staff will fix or repair any appliance that they furnish with the apartment. There are air conditioners in every room. Trash and utility rooms are on every floor for rubbish and recyclables. Free WI-FI is available to everyone throughout the campus as well as free satellite senior TV featuring over 77 channels. All parts of the building and parking garage can be accessed without going outside. I truly like living here!

I have been attending the Center for Enrichment for two years after moving into the area. Besides the terrific learning opportunities and knowledgeable instructors, I can compare the system to a similar format I used to attend. The CFE is much more of a community. You can come and go or stay and have lunch - interact with fellow learners. New classes are being added all the time, in addition to the large and eclectic catalogue choices. I've never left without knowing I will be returning!

Ten and a half years after making the move to Clement Manor, I am still here. This is my home, and this is my extended family. There is nowhere else I would rather be at this time of my life.
I am surrounded by beautiful neighbors who care for each other. There are no strangers here. “New-comers” are immediately welcomed into the family. A competent, dedicated staff, sincerely value their daily commitments to this ministry which is entering it’s 40th year of service. Everything I need is here. The Chapel, the Country Store, health services, daily activity options that would keep the most active person involved, food services and programs sponsored by the Center for Enrichment. Among other things, provisions are also made available by Administration for field trips and services such as food shopping, trips to Dr. appointments, annual flu/Covid inoculations, absentee voting and when needed, re-habilitation services following hospitalizations.
For me, as an active 88+year old retiree, it is truly a perfect match and I thank God every day for the gentle persuasion/direction over the years that led me to Clement Manor. I know I can happily live out the rest of my life midst this beautiful loving and caring FAMILY!!

My father was at Clement Manor for a year and a half until he passed away at age 93. He was quite content and comfortable there. The staff love him and he loved them. He walked the halls regularly with his walker to stay active. The food wasn’t the best but my father didn’t complain. We would bring meals and eat with him occasionally or bring take out food as he was not on a restricted diet. He especially loved bath time! He said it was the best and the aids were so good with him. He was always treated with dignity and respect. We never witnessed anything that would be of concern and my family and I visited often.
Clement Manor even allowed my brother to stay with my dad in his room for the first few nights he was there to comfort him and help him to get acclimated. They set up a bed for him. We were also welcome to come and dine with my dad and the residents whenever we wished.
My father had hospice care in the last few weeks of life and the hospice chaplain came often to see him which was meaningful to him. We were very pleased overall with our experience with Clement Manor.

I have been working at Clement Manor for almost 12 years now and I can honestly say that I thank God for bringing me to Clement Manor. I am so grateful for all of the wonderful people I have met over the years, friendships that will last forever, getting to do what I love and being with others who care as much about the residents and families as I do. I would highly recommend Clement Manor to anyone looking for a Senior Living Community or a place for a loved one who needs care or a fantastic place to work where you feel like a part of a family.

My Mom is currently a resident in Assisted Living at Clement Manor...Dad was also but he passed away at 96. Mom just turned 101!
I can't say enough about the superb care provided there. You would expect great medical support from an organization that has a Medicare 5 out of 5 star rating for its' Health Center but that's just the beginning.
The staff... professional and administrative...treat my Mom like a member of their family. She's constantly telling me about how much she cares for them and how attentive they are to her every need.
The ratings (Medicare) are important but it's the people who really make Clement Manor a special place.
If your loved one has the need, you could not find a better place for them to get the care and attention (love) they deserve.

Mom just spent 2 weeks at Clement Manor after being in hospital for new severe pain in leg. She had all has all wonderful things to say about the care she received. At 93 years she appreciated the respect she received from the various staff to meet her needs. The occupational and physical therapy especially aided her to transition back home as was her primary goal. She loved the food too.

Fantastic location with great amenities for senior living residents! The salon services provided by PS Salon & Spa are exceptional and great for the well being of the residents of Clement Manor. Residents have the pleasure of both looking and feeling their best, all within one building!

We toured the facility and was impressed by how warm the staff were towards visitors. We toured Clare Suites (Memory Care Unit) and was able to witness how the staff took great care of their residents. It takes special people to take care of our elderly. #ClareSuitesSquad

I am a clinical instructor with students from Herzing University, helping in Claire Suites. The staff and faculty in Claire Suites are amazing. They truly care for their residents and go above and beyond! Thank you for hosting us and letting us care for your precious residents!

I've had the honor of working with the leadership team at Clare Suites Memory Care at Clement Manor as a Hospice Consultant for several years. Tom Schulz (Administrator) and Therese Krueger (Director of Nursing) along with their entire staff are some of the most caring and compassionate people I have ever collaborated with in Home Health and Hospice Care. Clare Suites is warm, inviting and it feels like home to the wonderful residents who live there and to their visiting families. In fact, it is home! I have and will continue to recommend Clare Suites to anyone seeking a Memory Care Unit for their loved one. It's a loving place!

I have worked at Clement Manor for almost five years and I can honestly say I love my job. I started here as a CNA and was given the opportunity to grow within the company. What is really profound about the opportunities I given is that I have multiple learning disabilities and always had a hard time fitting in and being accepted but Clement Manor has always made me feel welcomed since day one. I built wonderful relationships with not just my coworkers but also the residents. For the opportunities and love I’ve been given I’ll be enternally grateful. 💕

I think it’s best if the elderly lady working at the front desk worked on her customer service skills.
