A former neighbor and friend moved into one of the apartments on Flamingo and I went over to help her unpack and get settled. I was hugely impressed with everything! There was plenty of parking; the lobby entrance was grand and beautiful. I felt like I walked into a hotel. I was greeted kindly by the receptionist and directed down the hall to my friend's new home. We went for a walk with her dog around the grounds - mature trees provided lots of shade and there were benches for sitting all around. The ground was even and she moved smoothly with her walker and her pup on a leash. Lots of grass too! Her room is beautiful; she's on the first floor and her ceilings looked vaulted. The bathroom was twice the size of one in a regular home and the bedroom large and spacious. The amenities are great - a lounge for playing cards with chess boards setup waiting for players. The dining room was large with tablecloths and linen napkins; a formal setting resembling a restaurant. What a grand place to live!!

Upon visiting Oakmont, the first thing I noticed was how beautiful and tranquil the courtyard is. It is very welcoming to just sit and listen to the waterfall in the center. The one bedroom apartments are very spacious and well designed. The overall cleanliness of the community is very apparent. The residents that I have met appear to be very happy and enjoy participating in the various activities that Oakmont has to offer. The community is also pet friendly which is a huge plus for residents not wanting to leave their animals behind. Pet care services are also offered for a fee for those residents unable to take their pets out. From the moment a resident moves in, Julia is there to make sure all their needs are met. I would highly recommend Oakmont for anyone looking for a home for their loved ones.

Both my parents moved in last March and love it there. Unfortunately my mother passed away in late April from cancer. The staff there were amazing in handling everything very professionally and caring. They continue to provide great care and compassion for my Father. He stays very busy with all the fun games and activities they provide. Plus he loves to relax in their beautiful courtyard. We come visit regularly, sometimes to join him for a meal and sometimes my friends come along to play cards in the card room. Everyone is very friendly. If your considering a safe, comfortable home for your loved ones than I highly recommend Oakmont.

We moved my 94 year old mom to Oakmont of Las Vegas in April due to a management change at her previous facility. Although she needs some physical assistance, mentally she is all there so to speak. We looked at several other assisted living options before choosing Oakmont. At 94 the change was a bit difficult for her, as any change is at that age and after being at her previous residence for over 3 years. I have to say that the team at Oakmont did everything possible to make the move as easy as possible for her and now she is very happy there. The first few months they checked in on her constantly to make sure she had everything she needed and everytime I came over (a couple times a week) they kept me up to date on how she was doing. They are prompt on seeing to her needs and try to make sure she attends the activities. Because she doesn't eat pork products, they specifically ordered turkey bacon for her in the dining hall. Caregivers pop in on her just to see how she is doing and to chat and keep her involved. Julia, the first person of contact is still very involved in my mom's day to day contacts and I can go to her with any concerns or questions. Everyone there lets me know when I come in what my mom has been doing in between visits (a matter of days usually) and if I have to travel out of town they keep an extra eye on her. Recently they instituted a weekly newsletter to let family members know if upcoming activities which is also helpful. Oakmont is really a very caring place and it was a great move for my mom.

Oakmont of Las Vegas is a wonderful assisted living facility. An old neighbor of mine (who is like a grandma to me) recently moved in and could not be any happier there! It is beautiful and clean, the staff is warm and welcoming, and the amenities are superb. Some of the amenities include a game room with lots of fun games and activities, a gorgeous library with so many amazing books you'll never get bored of reading, a movie theater to relax and catch your favorite flick in, and a large and spacious dining room for all meals. I highly recommend Oakmont and am so glad my neighbor found it!

Oakmont is a beautiful, assisted living facility and the management staff is top of the line! I had the best experience when moving my parents to Oakmont, Julia was so helpful, competent, and supportive. She always made time to speak with me and solved many of my problems/obstacles prior to move in. The new facility director is fabulous; he has a wonderful way with people. Staff is very complimentary of his leadership and my parents trust him. Lastly, Elia, coordinated my parents move in, she has an amazing style; so personable. Elia made such a difference in helping my mom feel comfortable and confident in her decision to relocate. In summary, I am thrilled with this assisted living facility, their services, and staff. I desperately needed help in providing quality care for my parents. I am happy to say they are transitioning well and enjoying the facility, care, and all of Oakmont's amenities.

We entered into Oakmont East Flamingo only a few weeks ago when we received an urgent plea from our parents to help them get into an assisted living facility. After only a few interactions with Julia Gold, we were in, and we were treated like cherished family. She pulled every string to get mom and dad situated and into a beautiful living space, complete with beautiful furniture and decorations. Shortly after moving in, everyone on the staff – from medical to food to administrative – went out of their way to make them and us comfortable and welcome. We experienced some personal tragedies shortly after moving in and the entire Oakmont staff treated us with such love and respect. I would highly recommend the facility for those looking for a safe and loving place for aging friends and family. The Oakmont Las Vegas team will always be family to us.

Oakmont has been very helpful with my uncle who has been independent all his life. Now, at 90 years old he needs more assistance. Oakmont has been patient and caring and understands change can be difficult at any age. The dining room staff couldn't be better with him. They understand his sense of humor and joke with him which he truly loves. The staff and some residence address him by name. This is a courtesy that all businesses should follow. He has always done his own laundry so he was reluctant to have anyone do his laundry or housekeeping for him. Now, the housekeeper and he are the best of friends and he welcomes her Monday visits. I must add that Oakmont has been a relief for me, as well. I know that if he doesn't answer his phone , I can call the concierge and they can check on him. Oakmont is a "peace of mind" that is worth their weight in gold!

Oakmont of Las Vegas staff and directors have been so helpful and friendly and have allowed me to help my father find a comfortable place to live. He has been happy living there and it gives him more independents and allows him to make new acquaintances. I and my family are glad to have him in a safe and clean home.

I just recently helped a long time friend make the difficult decision to sell her home and move to an assisted living facility. We had a long list of facilities to check out thanks to “A place for mom”. The very first visit was to Oakmont of Las Vegas due to the central location. She fell in love with the beautiful park like grounds. We were greeted with friendly and professional staff who provided us with a tour and all the information needed to make a decision. She has been there for a few months and is very happy. She’s become active and made many new friends. She even likes the food!😃

Having lived in a condo and independent living, I was skeptical to move to an Assisted Living complex with the connotation it gave. However, now that I have lived in Oakmont for a while, I have been won over. There are many pluses to living here and the tone from the staff to the cleaning crew and waiters makes for happy living, making new friends and enjoying the many activities. Naturally all this does not just happen and I personally have to attribute this to the Sales Director, Julia Gold. She makes the transition of living here as comfortable and happy as possible from the beginning to following through to see that you are settled in. She introduces you to other tenants and is available to answer any questions that come up. In conversation with other tenants, my view is shared by many so I am not alone in this. You can't help but notice that Julia often goes beyond her job as Sales Director helping where needed even when kitchen staff asks her to help in the dining room when they are short of staff. Also we see her staying beyond what must be beyond the end of her regular work day. It is also a plus that she is always cheerful which is not a small feat in her job. In short, I feel she is a major part of Oakmont to being a success.

I can say with 100% certainty that the generous, kind, caring people of Oakmont changed our family's lives. A few weeks ago, we found ourselves in a very overwhelming position of needing a safe place for my parents immediately. While most communities told us this would take weeks, Julia, the Marketing Director at Oakmont, dove in and made it happen for us in 5 days - removing obstacles, securing resources, moving mountains; doing so with empathy and compassion every step. I truly believe it saved my parents.
The staff here are nothing short of incredible. Every caregiver has embraced my parents like family; making what could have been a scary, hard transition something where they have felt supported and surrounded by true friends. When I come to visit, I am surprised to see they know every single person on a first name basis...and by the time I leave, I am on a first name basis with them too! Oakmont's staff and management truly care so much, and I have already recommended them to many. It is truly a special place that has made a lifetime impact on our family.

My mother needed a place where she could be safer than in an independent setting so she reviewed the options chose Oakmont assisted living. The best thing about it are the friendly staff and of course they really do have wonderful food and great presentation. I think people should be aware that there are many additional costs after subjective medical assessments and perhaps they should be reviewed before accepting a final monthly rent plus fees.

Oakmont of Las Vegas is beautiful! The staff is very friendly and the food is very good. Don’t let the location discourage you! The pricing was well within our budget and the atmosphere and everything was a lot more welcoming than other higher priced facilities we toured. I know my family member is in good hands.

It is difficult to achieve a rating as this is the only Assisted Living facility I have ever observed.
So far i am well satisfied with my accommodations, food and other facilities. I consider that we made the right choice.
Staff is extremely friendly and always friendly and willing to interact with residence.
The only minus I can think of is that the facility is on lock-down after 7 PM, I think!! As a point of interest I go to bed at 9PM..

The entire staff is so friendly to me and all know me by my first name and treat me with respect.
The facility is well maintained and my apartment is very specious for my needs.
The dining room provides quick service with a very friendly staff of waiters.
Our Chef (Barbie) provides daily menus to suit various ethnic tastes. The food is served quickly with concentration on providing hot meals to the residents.
Atria Sutton provides a wide variety of daily activities for residents to select if they elect to participate.
The courtyard remains to be most enjoyable with the beautiful plants and trees.

I have been coming to this facility for over 10 years as a health care provider. The staff and caregivers are very professional, attentive, extremely courteous and proactive. The activity department is amazing with something for everyone. It is clean and pet friendly with easy access to their beautiful courtyard. Very close to the hospitals and excellent physicians who will come to the facility as a primary care provider. The turnover of staff is very low . Some of the employees I have known since I have been coming here. This indicates to me that they hire only the best and have adequate staffing to avoid people looking to find employment elsewhere.
I would have no reservations about having a loved one reside here.

The entire staff is very friendly and very quick if I should need them to help. They all know me by my first name and treat me with respect. The facility is well maintained and my apartment is very nice and quite large for just myself. Atria Sutton provides a wide variety of daily activities for residents that wish to participate. The Dining room is nice and the staff work very hard to get your food to you in a timely manner. My only complaint's would be the food in general, mostly the vegetables as they are are not fresh, and most food has been over cooked in a microwave. i.e. Sausage is very tough because it has been cooked too long. I know it is not just myself that feels this way due to the large amount of food that is throw out each day at each meal that people can not eat. I have talked to them about this before to no avail. That said I would and have reccomended Atria Sutton to my friends. (I have typed this review for my father using his words at his request) Dick Holmes

What a lovely community! We have visited several in Las Vegas and Atria Sutton is the #1 choice on our list! Mom is getting ready to move in after she sells her home and we can't be happier because it is close to the airport and the strip where we always stay. We looked on the internet first and were pleasantly surprised to find the community was even more beautiful than the photos online.

Have a very dear friend living in the independent living section. Staff is very friendly, responsive and helpful. Dining room is open to guests of residents and their food and service is very good. I'm glad that our friend has the benefit of this place with meals, utilities and 24/7 medical services included.

This place on the outside looks clean. Maintenance are out taking care and tending to the facility.

Thank you, Atria Sutton, for being a great community partner. What a kind and helpful staff. Special thanks to Patti who arranged water and snacks for our Vegas PBS member event.
