We recently moved mom into Avamere at Cheyenne. She absolutely loves it. Mom is participating in various activities such as, Bingo and exercise, and has made new friends. The facility is clean and updated. All the staff are pleasant and friendly. We are glad that mom is getting the help she needs to stay as independent as she can be. Tegan made the admission process much easier than it might have been if not for all her hard work. The whole family is so grateful we found Avamere at Cheyenne.

Great tour, engaged team. Tegan knows the residents by name and loves her community. Roxanne, the nurse was so kind to me upon my visit and made me feel right at home. Lunch was amazing and the chef Kristen introduced herself to me while I was dining. I’m a so excited to move into Avamere at Cheyenne. I can tell at they truly mean it when they say it’s ‘More than just a home.”

Avamere at Cheyenne is amazing place! We looked high and low for a place for our 84 yr old mom. Assisted living comes in all shapes and sizes and oh my gosh....so many different levels of care :o My mom is somewhat independent but, now needs help with day to day tasks. I found Avamere to be a perfect fit for my mom. I immediately felt warm and fuzzy when I walked into the building. It has such a positive energy. The staff is kind, caring and very upbeat. The real test came when I brought "mom" to check it out. My mom felt the same. Fast forward, mom moved in a little over a week ago and to my amazement she loves it! She has made new friends and loves the daily activities. She says the food is very very good! I am overjoyed for her. She has regained her independence and dignity and most of all, I love that I can be her daughter again :) Thank you to all the staff at Avamere for making my moms move so easy and seamless! Thank you for the clear communication and guidance. Special thanks to Tegan!!! You are a very SPECIAL LADY, lady!

Trying to find a good place for my sister was not easy - but thanks to some wonderful resourceful people they guided me to the right new home for my sister and I am very happy. From the beginning of the process Tegan Dein, Manager at Avamere was extremely helpful, attentive to our needs and responded every email and text message I sent with precise information and excellent customer support. The day of admission she was there for us to help us do paperwork and get my sister situated. I felt a feeling of comfort, knowing my sister will be in a good place she can now call home. I want to thank Tegan for being such a great advocate and expressing her caring ways. This was not an easy transition, yet - she made sure we were taken care of. We appreciate you Tegan! As for Avamere, it is a clean place, they have many activities on site with different choices for every resident. It is a nice building with clean decor and courteous staff.

Tegan has taken my calls for a year and a half. She educated me on assisted living and most importantly what it’s like for elders and their families. She made us feel not alone. I shared everything she taught me with the family. Thank you Avemere for having Tegan there to help us ! We are finally moved in and still learning.

We are extremely grateful that our mother landed at Avamere. The location is kept clean, the residents are offered many activities, and most of all the staff is friendly and caring. Having worked in nursing homes in the past I have always said that would be the last place I would ever put a loved one. Unfortunately, after my Dad broke his hip at a 60+ singles dance last July, we had no choice but to get him someplace where he could focus more on recovering. My Dad is a grumpy old man and being immobile didn't help at all. Tegan was so comforting to our family and joked with my Dad a few times which helped lighten the mood and make things not so bad. Tegan was also very patient with our overbearing family members who never left her alone. She really went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great experience at Avamere. (Even my grumpy old man.)

I was so sad and scared to have to make this huge decision for the well being of my mother. She was extremely scared to have to uproot her entire life and make a change like this in her 80's. The team at Avamere at Cheyenne held our hands ever step of the way. From the first tour to the move-in was seamless. My anxiety settled the moment I stepped foot into the building. I will forever be grateful for the staff of this facility. Knowing this may be the last place my Mother will ever live is sad and scary. But the amount of love and compassion shown by all staff has lifted those fears. Thank you!!

Thank the Lord for Tegan and the rest of the staff at Avamere! I was so sad when I had to make the decision to put my Mimi in assisted living. All the stories you see on the news really are scary. Right from the beginning Tegan and the rest of the staff made me and my Mimi feel right at home. I feel like Tegan will treat her as if she were her own Mimi.

What a great place that we chose to put our love one. The staff was amazing. Tegan helped us get her moved in so easily. Such love. Just came through the Halloween Holiday and that was so much fun. Looking forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas. You will not be sorry with your love one here.

A great big thank you to Tegan and the entire team for helping stream line the move in process with Pawpaw. We had five places in mind, and Avamere came out on top. It was by far the most personal and welcoming place we’ve been to this week. Very happy with our choice, and I’m sure Pawpaw is too.

Loved this community. Tegan helped us get my grandma situated. Explained every step of the process. The staff made my grandma feel welcome and help her in everyday stuff. Tegan always checks in on her and makes sure she never feels alone. I highly recommend this location.

The staff here have been nothing but fabulous. Every employee, management, office staff, nurses, caregivers, waitstaff, and custodians have been so kind, polite, gracious, caring towards my mother and our family. They have all gone out of their way to welcome her, check in on her regularly, and show their care & concern for her well being. Watching staff interact with the other residents has been wonderful and I haven't found one resident that wasn't happy & smiling since we've been there. Even the waitstaff learned my mom's name after one visit to the dining room and everytime they see her, even if they are not helping, go out of their way to say hello. I would definitely recommend this retirement community to anyone who is searching.

I got the opportunity to volunteer here. If and when it becomes necessary for me to live at an assisted living facility; this is the one I would go to. I have seen several of these places both here in Las Vegas and also a couple in California. This one "takes the prize". I was given a tour by the BOM (Business Office Manager) DeAnna and met many of the residents. They were all happy and seemed to enjoy living there. DeAnna was very professional but also showed some fun loving spirit. The decor is very welcoming and I enjoyed my visit there. I even got to play bingo with the residents while I was there. Good times.
